With deep frustation, I was writing this expecting some response. I purchased Airtel's 4G Wifi hotspot with the MSISDN #[protected] from the Airtel store at Sarojini Nagar (South Square) on 25th July, 2015. I have taken a subscription for 3 months along with the device upfront. The very next day I got a message informing the device had been activated and the same was ready for use. But the hotspot was not getting connected to the backend. Visited the store many a time only to observe cold response from the store personnel every time. No one was willing to resolve the issue. An unskilled support guy at the store gave a suggestion to follow up with device vendor (ZTE here). Another assumed it a problem with the SIM and procured a new one to replace the earlier one. None of these worked. On the other visit, they APPARENTLY raised a ticket in their system and asked me to wait for a couple of days. Nothing happened yet. Nor were they ready to accept back the device in exchange for my money. I was given a contact number (of the store) : +91 [protected]. And it never seemed to work. With such a ruthless personnel operating the stores, it is not possible for a common man to redress for their losses. I would recommend not to go for AIRTEL's services. Note: To the AIRTEL team: I am not a one born with silver spoon to pay someone for no services received. Request you to pay my money back. Sorry that I subscribed to your services, the biggest mistake I ever did.

Dear Sadhu
Its been 4 days since you assured an action. Neither did the service resume nor did I receive any calls from your customer care representatives.

It is just that you guys pay deaf ears to your consumers' concerns.

Why do you sell the devices when you know you guys are not just competent enough to resolve the issues at run time.

And its almost been a month after I bought the device.

AIRTEL is just looting its consumers. KINDLYYYYYY give me way out to get my money back. Not at all interested any more in writing these public threads or emails .

    My name is mr. vinay ranjan prakash, mobile no.[protected] i dont know how a service named bioscope got activated in my airtel network service provider and every week i m getting 30 rupees deduction from my main balance account. i am so much harashed by airtel services, i had tried to stop this service but it wont happened.

      Â As the subject of this complaint suggests I am a victim of Airtel's unfair data usage calculation and excessive charging for the 3G data usage and through this forum I would like to throw light on how the telecom major uses petty and cheap tricks to drain the last penny out of its subscriber's pockets. So what Airtel does is that it charges you for using 3G from your account balance even if you have used 3G less than your data pack. And the worst part is that it is not a one time deduction this has been going on for a very long time now and they have been fooling their subscribers for quite some time. These deductions have happened with me on a regular basis and after getting totally frustrated by this I have decided to write this complaint as complaining to them on their IVR is of no use as they keep your call on a perpetual hold. I have been an Airtel subscriber for ages now but I think the buck stops here. I don't think I need to stress on the importance of keeping the subscriber happy, as it is we are paying a bomb for the outdated 3G data packs when everyone else has moved on to better and faster technologies of data transmission and after all that to get cheated is the last thing a consumer wants. What I want from Airtel is to look into this matter and resolve it as soon as possible as these practices are hurting their credibility. I got robbed of 400 rupees due to their unfair policies in the last such instance, I know it's not a big amount to you guys but it is about ethics in the end. Entering to the complete explanation: On Aug 14th midnight i.e entering to Aug 15th my balance was about Rs. 504-543, I activated Rs. 49 night data pack which gives 1GB data... I started updating mobile which consumes data 664.54 MB... But after updation I checked my bal it's Rs.202.64...I was tensed and called customer executive but it says we are connecting call and disconnects automatically, , , again I have activated night pack Rs.49 I have downloaded few videos which has total size of 700 MB suddenly video stopped downloading and I checked balance Rs.0...Guys what's going on here... (I am using bsnl Sim in my second mobile I have activated 3G pack of Rs.68 validity 7 days I have updated tat mobile and still browsing what's app etc... But still 150 MB remains) No intimation in between if I crossed data limit... Conclusion: I have activated 2 GB data and consumed from tat around nearly 1.8gb but why the nonsense you have deducted Rs. 400... I have called morning to customer service of airtel one guy spoked to me in the way as he couldn't do anything: Dileep nagender floor supervisor Request no.:[protected]. Please look into this...and revert back ASAP And I am going to file a complaint... Bcoz we the people work from morning to evening to earn Rs.400... It's not a small amount Sir/Madam..               Hi This is regarding mobile no . [protected] I have lunched complaint against network issue on 11august . Today I have called for status ; but airtel customer care adviser's transfer my call 4 time . 5 advisor received my call but he did not listen my query . he did not provide last complaint status . when I asking repeatedly he released my call . what kind customer service your partner's are providing.                 Have visited to airtel shoppe to upgrade my 3G sim to 4G sim. The concerned person gave me a 4G sim and asked me to SMS SIM to 121. He confirmed that after 2-3 hrs my 3G sim will deactivate and then my 4G sim will be activated and ready for use. After 2 weeks, still my 4G sim is not activated. Again I visited to the same shoppe today (14th Aug 2015) and he had changed the 4G sim and asked me to check after 2-3 hrs. To my dismay, even my 3G sim is also deactivated.

                  I went to airtel store for an issue to convert my postpaid Sim connection to prepaid connection for this issue when ever I am going to store every time they are saying the same problem that there is an it service problem every time from their end and I called the store manager and the way he speaks to customer is also not good

                    I had filed the subject complaints with Airtel customer care in mid July and end of July. The problem is with "My Account" login for my Airtel 4G number. Whenever i try to login to "My Account", i see the details of some other user. This issue is not yet resolved. When i called customer care some days back, i was told that compliant is marked as resolved when it is not actually resolved. Can you help me resolve this issue at the earliest? I have already tried filing multiple complaints with customer care but it has not helped in any way. Let me know if any more details are needed.

                        On 1st August, 2015 i took 3G airtel sim as i relocated to Bhopal. the vendor sold to me a 3G sim but since activation of the number i haven't recieved 3G service. When preferred network for sim is selected as "Prefer 3G" or "3G only" i get a comment on my mobile as " the sim should support 3G to connect to the network" and by default "2G only" is selected. i have been continuously complaining to airtel customer care, they are continuously asking me to keep airtel selected in WCDMA settings and data roaming on. continuously i have been telling them that these settings are already there, still the issue is sim doesn't support 3G. now they have started keeping me on hold or saying" from our side there is no issue". So, should i take it as it is my problem that i foolishly bought an Airtel Sim.

                          Hello Sir / Madam, I have a 3G airtel connection. In this month's bill, Rs. 70 extra has been added towards LAILA SERVICE. I never activated the service. The 3G connection is used through a data card and there is no way for anyone to activate any value added service. When I asked the customer care about this, the representative told that i requested for service activation through a click of an ad in a web site. She said that she can deactivate the service. My question is how come Airtel has the control to deactivate a service which can not be activated by calling the customer care? This is a day light robbery. A "smart network" that makes its subscribers "fools".

                            This is with regard to my broad band connection account no: [protected] and phone number [protected]. I had raised a request in april 2015 to cancel the connection since i was leaving the country. However the cancellation didn't happen and the following month bill was added since i didn't pay it the connection eventually got cancelled. I returned back after 3 months, 2 weeks ago to create a new connection when they said my line has been put in safe custody. They mentioned i could get reconnected immediately and so i did. However within 2 days it got disconnected saying i owed rent for the month of may and there was an addition 600 rs fees for safe custody which i never requested in the first place. When i raised it as an issue i was promised there is some miscommunication and the sum will be reverted ( find below the mail) my connection was back on for 1 day after which it again got cancelled. Now i got a bill of an additional 800 Rs for the 3 days of internet connection i had. I had tried reaching out on multiple occasion but to no avail.

                                Hi my name is puneet. I purchased one post paid sim and one wifi advance rental dongle . i have paid 3300 rs for dongle and 350 rs for airtel postpaid sim on 10th august 2015 from Balaji Traders plot no. 57A, Neelam Bata road, N.I.T. Faridabad. my residential verification has already been done . but still both my numbers have not been activated till now. after making several complaints the DSA is not resolving the matter. The mobile no for the DSA Is [protected] and landline is[protected]. the nos issued to me for postpaid sim was [protected] and wifi was [protected]. such bad service from airtel.

                                  I am using Airtel Broadband since quite sometime and off late there have been a lot of advertisements popping on my laptop, ipad and cell phones because of airtel network. The same is happening in my office. I am really not happy with the same and it is really frustrating to again and again shut the ad which are of no use to me. This is really causing a lot of trouble as a lot of spams are happening. I hope my privacy is well protected. If this does not stop, I will very well change my network. I cant stand it anymore.

                                    Hello, i have a life time valid airtel connection and i am out of country currently, i noticed a temporary notice date is set when i logged into my airtel account to check my balance it is set as 26Aug2015, i havent received any communication from airtel inspite of being an account holder. any how, i would like to understand how can i get rid of that date ? as the date is still post dated i am expecting airtel will provide me details to ensure that date is no longer active . my phone number is [protected].

                                      My mobile number is [protected]. It was a prepaid mobile number. Airtel customer care peoples has called many times and asked to change prepaid mobile number to postpaid and they told it will be beneficiary.So, we agreed for that. Airtel peoples come to our place and changed the prepaid mobile number to post paid. For this they took 550 rs. Customer relationship form serial no. is KKPB975388. Now we don't want postpaid plan because its charges are more.We asked airtel customer care to change the postpaid plan to prepaid plan however they asked to come to aitel office to change the plan. They miss leaded us. now we come to know that we can change the plan without going to aitel office. They have blocked the number without informing. Please unblock the number and take action against the one who miss lead to take the different plans when there is no benefits and ask to come to airtel office without reason and collects money.

                                        I am abroad and I need my India number to reciecve lot of OTP. They deducted rs.100 with a promise to activate international roaming but its not active.
