My Wife is travelling to NY and on the day she is on flight Airtel is saying she used 7.5 MB of data and bill is 5300 INR. Earlier executive said it was 7.86 GB and now they said 7.5 MB o[censored]sage. My Credit Limit is 1500 and not saying that they will only get information from Roaming partner on daily bases. I would like to pay amount, but only which is used for calls. There Customer care has not given me any instruction or any of the information when i activated international roaming. This all are recorded on Customer Care Recording.
Airtel customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.

    This is in regards to a cancellation request for an airtel broadband connection
    That i've been chasing for a while and still hasn't been dealt with.

    I applied for a broadband connection through an agent who collected the docs
    After which i got a message from airtel on 25th march stating that docs have
    Been received against fixedline installation order number 33362632 and
    Connection will be done in 3 days and on 26th march, got another message
    Stating my fixedline number as[protected].

    On 30 march, i got another message saying that docs have been received against
    Fixedline installation order number 33455765 and connection will be done in 3
    Days. Anyways, on 31st march, a technician came to my place and got the wiring
    Done after which another technician came and got the router configured. The
    Fixedline number he shared with me was[protected] which was different than
    What was initially sent to me by in the message by airtel[protected] .

    The connection worked for 4 - 5 days after which it stopped working. I called the
    Customer care and found out that there were two numbers showing on my name. One
    Was pending activation[protected] and another one that was given to me by
    The technician at the time of installation[protected] was on someone else's
    Name and that there awere some ports issues due to which my services were
    Stopped. I again called on 12th april and spoke to a supervisor manjunatha who
    Said that i was issued a temporary number and since airtel has figured out that
    There are some port issues, therefore they are closing my application and my
    Refund amount of rs 1000 will be processed within 21 working days. Since then,
    I have called airtel numerous times and have spoken to associates / supervisors
    (Vishwas) and even people from cancellations (Dhanush and nandini) who have
    Done nothing but beat around the bush telling me that my issue is still open
    And they can't tell me when the money will be refunded and i'll have to wait
    Which apparently seems a never ending wait.

    If you'd like to validate, here are the various interaction id's that have been
    Given to me during these calls[protected], 55072392, 55104582, 55118348.

    I again called the customer care on the 4th of may and spoke to someone who
    Told that his manager would call me back today but that never happened.
    This is certainly not acceptable and gives one an impression o[censored]tter
    Callousness and disregard for a customer.

    If this was not all, to top it up, i received a call from someone asking me to
    Pay the bill for this broadband connection. Airtel really has the audacity to ask
    Me to pay bill for a service that i barely used for 4 days and now instead of
    Getting my connection de - activated and sending me my money back, they are asking
    Me to pay? Isn't that extortion??

    I also escalated this to their appelate to which they wrote a very rude response to me (Mail attached) . The mail clearly stated that all my claims and grievances were fake and they were right and that i should pay them an amount of 1207. 53 asap. Here's what they wrote back:

    After this, i also escalated to trai and ombudsman with their [protected]@customercare. In address to which they responded saying the following - both emails (Mine and their response are mentioned below)

    I am writing this to you as both of you are the highest authorities that i can

    Me. After two agonizing months of follow ups and spending hours on phone with
    Various supervisors / customer care agents followed by harassing calls and sms
    Alerts to pay for something that i never used, here's the verdict i receive
    From an appelate authority who is supposed to give a fair decision. After
    Giving them all interaction ids of countless calls that i had with them and
    Explaining them the issue with all proofs, they tell me that they've validated
    My account, checked everything and that i need to pay them instead of me
    Getting a refund. Well, my installation fee money seems to have added
    To airtel's already huge corpus of funds but apart from this, i won't be paying

    For. If someone thinks that this verdict means that my options are
    Exhausted, then they are mistaken because they've seen my patronage but
    Definitely haven't seen how far i can go for getting justice bacause for me
    It's not only a outright denial of justice but also a message that it's time
    For loyal customers like us to start giving chances to new entrants who may not
    Be a big brand but are atleast not disrespectful and callous to their customers
    As how i have been made to feel during the last two agonizing months by
    Airtel.

    Below. I was given me two numbers without my consent just so airtel can let the
    Connection work temporarily which a supervisor manjunatha acknowledged during
    My conversation. He also confirmed that airtel is closing my application as
    They are uanble to make it work so it's not my fault. If there were no ports
    Available, which apparently they already knew, i should have been told about it
    But they chose to take the money and then allot me a number which was pending
    Activation and another one which worked for 5 days but was on someone else's
    Name and stopped working after 5 days which was done without me knowing about
    It. I was always interested in getting and keeping this connection but i was
    Told that by manjunatha that my application has been closed as there are no
    Ports available and my refund will be processed within 21 working days and
    Since then several people have confirmed that my disconnection is in progress
    And i will get my refund by 04 june 2015 (Interaction id[protected] . It was
    Airtel's inability to provide me the services and now basis 5 days of a
    Workaround, a makeshift arrangement that was made for their own benefit so i
    Can be harassed and go through this agony or a full two months, i have been
    Outrightly declared a liar by asking me to pay instead of giving me a refund.

    I hope that this issue gets resolved here with your intervention.

    I also got an sms on june 1st which said that the reference number for my airtel fixedline[protected] is 56214022 and my concern will be resolved in next 45 days. This is the same number that i was given to begin with and was pending activation when i escalated this issue and now instead of giving me the refund back for the connection that airtel themselves said cannot be given to me because of port issues, they have raised a cancellation request for a number that was not even activated leave apart me using it. I am getting calls and alerts three times daily to pay the amount of 1207. 53. This is nothing but harassment and i will not take this anymore.

    I have lost my patience now and would want this to be resolved once and for
    All and after this i'd have no alternative left but taking this up in this forum. I hope i get justice here and if i don't get respite here, i will open a facebook hate page and also take this up on twitter till someone hears my plea.

    Please be aware that i do have all interactions ids and emails as documentary proofs.

        dear sir, I have requested for a new DTH connection on[protected].till now 9 days are over.I haven't received any call from Airtel engineer regarding installation have called on customer care more than 6 times(from 15 june to 22 june).every time they are misguiding me regarding connection . Every time i called them they told me that today they will send somebody for new connection installation. i haven't expected this kind of behaviour from airtel customer care representatives and engineers

        still my problem is not resolve.again 4 days i receive a call from airtel customer care regarding connection.and they told that they will come and setup my new DTH connection.till now again nobody came 4 days are over.i am fed uff with fake promises of airtel customer care.

          Fixed line not working

            The payment for airtel broadband was made on 15th april via hdfc credit card for Rs. 2700/-. The transaction ID for the same is 008193. Details of the connection are as follows- Relationship No.: [protected] Bill No.:[protected] Due date 15-apr-2015 Amount: Rs. 2583.16 Phone No.: [protected] DSL ID:[protected]_dsl This number was transferred from Saurav Jain to Sahil Narang This bill is still not settled yet, airtel says they deposited this bill to the Saurav Jain's account. This seems unreasonable as the name can't be transferred without clearing the outstanding bill. We followed up with airtel for almost a month now. They say that 1500 was due in earlier account so they have settled it up and the rest amount(1100) was refunded by cheque, which we never got. We have no relation to the earlier account holder as he was a tenant, so how can we get his obligation after the name is transferred. Then again, for the bill dated 15-Jun-2015, the payment(Rs. 2600) was done using CITIBANK credit card, and that payment too is still not showing up. Please settle this bill asap as its sheer harassment of consumers even after paying all the bills.

              AirTel is cheating its customers by not repairing under-warranty Broadband dongles. The dongle for AirTel Broadband no. [protected] (purchased in November 2014) stopped working within 4 months of puchase (in March 2015), and the service center referred by AirTel in Lajpat Nagar New Delhi refused to repair or replace it (on the false excusee that they don't repair Huawei dongles). For more than 3 months, AirTel has been promising corrective action within 24 hours but has taken NO ACTION whatsoever till today (24th June, 2015). AirTel is cheating customers to avoid warranty repairs/replacements. I have finally asked for closure AirTel's Broadband Service on this number, and want a FULL REFUND on the dongle failing which I shall take AirTel to Court.

                Hi, I am continuously on international roaming and all my outgoing calls have been barred without any reason. I have been following up with airtel customervservice where each agent asks me to try something else. I was told on 18th june that the problem will be resolved in 48 hours, nothing happened. I have been dropping emails to airtel presence but am still to get a reply. Please assist asap. Airtel nbr - [protected]. Regards, Harpreet

                    I had activated the midnight pack of 29 rupees just after 1 sec at midnight the 3g connection lost its only working GSM network When I call to costumer care they told me to wait 30 min but I wait more than 45 min then I call them back they only say wait we activate the pack and when I say it doesn't they make my call on hold and then cut the call

                    I just again manually searched the network then after it starts working but I am still angry by the behaviour done by customer care employees

                      I am airtel prepaid user of no [protected] issued from Karnataka.. I am tired with the insuffient supply of 3G network in my area .. I Have been paying for 3G network and u are supplying 2G network which is kind of cheating with the customers.. Always when I call customer care they r just saying to see my settings but my settings are properly. I request u to provide 3G service in my area and improve ur network conditions...

                        This is my complaint to Airtel DTH ------ (my a/c no. [protected])------ My 1st Reference no. DT[protected] & other request no. is 44779739. My complaint is below. Sir, No channels are been telecasted since 17/06/2015. On switching on the television and the set top box it is informing that the Error code is B001. Kindly solve this immediately. My recharge amount is fully paid. This is unsolved till today. I once again request you to take immediate steps.

                          I would like to share that I am having Airtel prepaid connection [protected] from past 7 years. Kindly note I have received alert messages on June 16, 17 & 18 that there is an offer available for 3G data back, it is 2GB data on Rs 253 with 28 days validity. I have recharged on 18-06-15 with Rs 253, whereas I have received only 1.5 GB, asked Airter retailer, he replied that the balance 500 MB will get added later. As I haven’t received the same, called Airtel customer care executive on 19-06-15, 7.30 PM and received a complaint number (CBNRD[protected]). The contents of the message is that my query will get resolved on 23-06-15. As I didn’t receive balance 500 MB data till today, I have called your executive today 08.15 PM, explained all the above conversations in detail enough, your executive replied me that the offer is not applicable to me and disconnected the call without getting my reply. Request to resolve this issue on top priority. I need my query to be resolved judicially with in 27-06-15 Please treat this matter most urgent.

                            Sir, I have recharge my mobile number: [protected] amount 300 on saturday 20.06.2015 in the morning and I have also recharge 3G after 0.50mb remaining 3G data we have internet connection closed in mobile same day. After that I have again 99 recharge for 2G data after that I have check balance its is showing 1 Rupees only. And I am everytime suffering for call droping..                               Dear sir, I am your recently subscriber of dth services and my id is [protected]. I want to let you know few fact s about your service. I had been using tatasky dth service since last 8 years. One bad day I got a call from your customer care service that they want to provide me your dth service with low coast set up of 1230 rs with better services and I believed the same and switched to airtel. As on 22nd May I got installation. During this installation your airtel distributor charged me cash 240 rs in advance monthly fee and still he didn’t credit in my account also the next day I got error no.6 in few channels. regarding this I asked your technician in verbal communication he assured me that he will visit as soon as possible and resolve the problem but next 8 days he didn’t visit till I made a call to your customer care and next day he visited and changed the setup box but I didn’t get any single channel with error 16. I asked him about this and he answered me that it will be started automatically but it didn’t. Then again I had to make a complain and got reference no 4422764 on date 8th june. Again he visited with new set up box but couldn’t solve the issue. He told me that he will visit next day with new setup box but after two days again I had to raise complain no. 44588461 and also I want to let you know that how your complain resolves in 24 hours that your technician inform a number which displays on tv and customer get message that issue is resolved merely based on the display of a certain no. but actually the issue was not resolved but they believe the number displayed on TV not on the customer who is still saying that problem is as it is . Well he every time assured me that next time he will arrange set up box. Also I perused regularly to your TSM Mr. Vikas but that also could bring no result. So I request to you that stop harassing me further and refund me my money which I wasted installing such a nonsense product with no service no customer care and even no functioning at all.                                 I me and my husband using my airtel postpaid connection since 2013 and no doubt the service is too good. we recently shifted to Noida sector 99, and from that day we are facing continuous issue with the airtel connection. due to this single problem we are facing several issues in our daily life, as lots of my bank transaction failed just because of not getting the OTP on time, i could not contact any one in case of any emergency. my mother in law living with my 1 year daughter alone at day time, she is facing the same issue, could not contact any one if any help required. we dont think we are residing in a remote location, to bear such signal issues. my airtel data card is also not working on same location. please do need full, if it is not possible at airtel end thenplease make it clear that signal issue can not resolve their. at lease after this response we could reach for any other servic provider. your prompt action will be appreciated.                                   4G SIM is not working in IPhone 5s, didn't get proper response to resolve it.

                                  Airtel sent me new 4G SIM twice by post at home. Their executives called me various times and asked to insert new SIM and enjoy airtel's 4G services. Being curious I inserted new 4G SIM to my mobile. It was supposed to activate within 10 mins, but its been 4 days my SIM is activated but no signal at all. I am not able to make or receive a single call since 4 days. I called customer care many times, but they couldn't resolve my issue.. rather...

                                  Hi Team, Few days back i ([protected])got promotion call where I activated plan to reduces voice call rates. According to that plan my local call rate would be 30paisa/min and STD will be 35paisa/min. It also charge me 18 rupees immediately from my mail account.Now its more that 48 hours, still you are charging me 80paisa/min. Plz do needful asap.
