Recently I purchased a data plan for 3g service. I had made a recharge of 152 which give 350mb 3g data and 350mb 2g data. After 2-3 days, I had a balance of 108mb of 3g data left and switched off the data connection. After an hour I switched on the data Connection again for checking some of my banking queries using the netbanking application and after doing that I disabled the data connection. And found out that the 3g data of almost 100 mb was over in mere 5-10 mins. So for this purpose i called customer care and even he hung up the call saying that he will transfer the call to his senior. This is a very bad customer service as Airtel is only cheating it's customers

    Very Good Morning to you all, This mail is regarding my complaint issue to Air tell Wifi Dongle Connection on number[protected]. During Purchase of your Airtel Dongle it was clearly informed that that dongle can be free and unlocked anytime during my request. Also as your prior confirmation by your associate only it was proved that it can unlocked. Don't try to hide the truth behind your greediness, as per TRAI and Government guidelines only "none communication device like Mobile/Dongle or communication media if purchased by customer cannot be locked till consumer really interested for doing so." There is no privileges for Mobile operator to use it for own good sake. Than why you are creating your own rule if you can lock (by OEM supplier) you can unlock also don't try to fool consumers, this our own citizen of India. What you try to proof by fooling our own nation people that you are very clever and can play, trick and conspire with your own citizen people emotion. Such a shame on you all This Airtel Operator have cheated me badly on the name of providing me new dongle and confirmed 6gb will be free while I will purchase a new dongle of Rs 2000/ Same I purchased it on 18th Feb-2015 and they said it need to activate my 6gb while initiating it portal airtellive/offers There I hardly used 1 day the complete 6gb went in drain/data all used, Airtel people said I have consumed 6gb withing a day.and I need to pay more to use Airtel Company is cheating on name giving 6gb but reality they are misguiding customer via providing only 2 gb maximum and after these they show that I have used all 6 gb. These trick they are using only for selling Airtel Wifi dongle. In my case also, after my 2gb usage they disconnected my Airtel wifi connection and showed I have used all. Atlast I executed mail to their nodal and appellate Authority but till now I didnt have response from their end. They arent acknowledging my mail even. So my pledge request, please look into this crucial and harmfull matter since customer also getting cheated on name of 6gb where truth Airtel is only giving 2gb on name of 6gb Mine great warm regards to you all.       I have a complaint that i have an AIRTEL prepaid mobile number of DELHI and which i was not using since 1 month but when i suddenly used this SIM on my mobile since then it's not working ... Network Signals are still coming very nicely but it's showing "only for Emergency calls", i want to know the reason. why is this being happened ? Has my number not been out of order from authority or having some others' problem. kindly, give me useful information and resolve this problem as soon as it could be possible.         My complaint got resolve few days after its entry. The amount was recharged to my original number and I got a call from customer care about the same.

            I AM AIRTEL USER IN DELHI AND MY NO. IS [protected]. I CHECJKED MY BEST BENEFITS FOR 3G NET PACK WITH THE RETAILER AND I RECIEVED THE SMS OF SAME FROM AIRTEL. THE OFFER I RECIEVED FROM AIRTEL WAS RC WITH 255 AND GET 2 GB 3G DATA USAGE. 1 GB BENEFIT WILL BE CREDITED POST 1HR OF RECHARGE BUT I RECIEVED ONLY 500 MB BENEFIT i.e., TOTAL OF 1.5GB. I STILL HAVE THE SMS FROM AIRTEL SAVED IN MY PHONE IN WHICH SUCH BENEFIT IS MENTIONED THE RECHARGE WAS DONE ON[protected].               I have Bill dispute with Airtel. According to me the justifiable legitimate amount is Rs 5177/- and Airtel is demanding Rs. 23, 279/- They confirmed activating international roaming and then send me international roaming charges. This is clear cheating and fraud. Since 9th March they are calling all my relatives, friends and family and giving threatening calls in abusive language for extortion of money. They are threatening my family with kidnapping threats. Airtel is adopting all unethical and illegal practices. I have complained to Nodal Officer and Appelate officer also. I am requesting for scrutinizing the bills by Airtel which Airtel is not doing. Since 9th March Airtel have started harassing my Family, my Relatives and my Friends for extorting money. There is No reason Airtel to give all my CONFIDENTIAL contact numbers to Recovery Agents of Airtel and do the abusive and threatening calls to my family, relatives and friends. This harassment is still going as on date since 9th March 2015. The calls are made from following numbers and the names of callers are also mentioned. Let me inform you that we have recorded voice of all these calls and all of my contacts have obtained itemized bills wherein these numbers appear. We are Filing case in Consumer Court.We are collecting and justifiable documentary evidence against Airtel for Airtels Criminal Acts of Threatening, Extortion, Harrassement, Abusive Language, Kidnaping and Torture. She advised to speak to customer care on 121 or write email to customer care [protected]@in.airtel.com seeking clarification on excess billing. She also advised to disconnect international roaming GPRS/Data pack services. 08 15.10.2014 At 01:42pm Vijay Shelke Airtel – Sumithra. S I wrote emai to Sumithra madam to immediately disconnect international roaming service and requested her to quote special discounted package for voice and data international roaming services for one year. 09 16.10.2014 Airtel – Sumithra. S Vijay Shelke Received quotation by email from Sumithra madam for Malaysia Roaming for Voice Pack &amp; Data pack. Later received call from her. I confirmed the acceptance of Voice pack at Rs 1500 for 15 days &amp; at Rs 999 valid for 15 days. Requested Sumithra to activate voice pack &amp; data pack immediately. 10 18.11.2014 Airtel Shailesh Dhopatkar Vijay Shelke Received email alongwith bills for the month of Oct-Nov. 2014 at round figure of Rs 39, 000. 11 19.11.2014 Vijay Shelke Airtel Shailesh Dhopatkar Wrote a mail to Airtel - Shailesh Dhopatkar that I have thoroughly checked the bill and explained the mistakes in the bill. Also called him and he accepted the mistakes in the bill. I told him that only Rs 5, 177.32 is the legitimate bill and I am ready to make the payment by cash immediately subject to confirmation email from Airtel accepting billing mistake and agree to accept the amount of Rs 5, 177.32. 12 14.01.2015 Airtel Prashant Dhanu Vijay Shelke Received email from Shailesh Dhopatkar who had gone back on his words and promise to close the matter at Rs 5, 177.32. His email again states outstanding of Rs. 23, 279. 13 24.01.2015 Vijay Shelke Airtel Prashant Dhanu Replied to Airtel Prashant Dhanu informing him the entire communication and convinced him that the legitimate outstanding is Rs. 5, 177.32. I emailed him all the trailing emails of communication with Airtel since August 2015. Talked to him over the phone and he was convinced.                 I have been trying to change my post paid airtel connection from post paid tp prepaid since Jan 2015. First they replied that I have to visit any of their offices in AP only. On my return to AP on[protected] I started visiting their offices . Since[protected] I have been visiting airtel offices at Musheerabad and Narayanaguda Hyderabad. But they are refusing to convert my Mob. No. [protected] from post paid to prepaid . I have already complained to AIRTEL and they gave a Ref. No. [protected] on[protected] but there is no response from them since then.

                    Iam using airtel prepaid mobile number from last 3 years . Today I was surfing net, then suddenly an ad promoting airtel videostore pop up, i click on back button but I dont know how this service get activated and i got a message telling about activation of service and deduction of 15 rupees. I immidiately called 121 customer care and deactivate this service, i ask respective customer care representative to refund my money, he rather than refunding my deducted balance starts arguing with me and said that it was my fault so i had to bear this loss of deducted balance. I am really annoyed and disappointed by this behaviour of such a reputed company and i strongly demand my money back as the service is not used .
                    Airtel customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.
                    As the service is not used by me and i immidiately call 121 Customer care to deactivate the service, paying for the call at 50 paise per 3 minutes, so it is my right to get my money back.
                    I hope my Money will be refunded as soon as possible and if not, then i must be provided with a valid reason to take any step.

                      Hi, I was using Airtel Post paid No. [protected] from previous few month back but due to unexpected bill i was port my no. to other operator, my concern is this i was port my No. On 9th Jan.2015 but i have not received any mail of My bill till Date so that i make that payment and unfortunately my no. is now restricted due to unpaid. i want to say that there is last bill that is Rs. 586 this is unfair amount this is Internet charger for 1 day only this is totally unfair i want to reverse that amount which is charge for Internet uses for 1 day. total amount is Rs.1508 Please reverse my amount otherwise i have to port my all airtel connection i using many airtel connection but never face problem like this.i requested to you please do the needful so that i would make the payment.

                        I feel like cheated by Airtel. They are charging me for the services I have not requested for and top of it no one from Airtel is responding. On paper they have nodal officer, appellate authority, 121 and many more. However, all exist only to meet compliance. Government orders have no meaning for them as they have own set of rules and regulations.

                          Dear Consumer/Airtel, we have been experiencing the problem repeatedly. Yesterday(18/3/15) night 11.36 Pm i was activated the Rs 5 Airtel Internet Pack with 25MB for a day . But i used the pack, 12.07 Am (19/3/15), just an half an housr, there is no download just used whatapp and some browing. At the time of internet day pack recharge they have taken Rs 5 and the remaining balance Rs 163 (screen shot attached) . But after an 20 minutes, i got deducted Rs 30. when raised my concern to Karnataka Airtel customer care, they have replied imporper manner, they are telling whereever want you can raise the complaint. you can't claim your refund Rs30 in anyway. so that i am going to apply for the PORTING to change some other network due to bad way of airtel cheating. Immediately concern teams shoud investigate the problem give me the refund back. On my first complaint i provided evidence of deduction Rs 75 main account balance- No response or any action was taken by airtel. on my second complaint, i am alos providing evidence, Rs 30 deduction from main balance- i hope there is no action will be taken, just they will add comment as action was taken already. We belive consumer complaints, we dont believe Airtel cheating organization

LAST 6 DAYS BACK MY AIRCEL NUMBER DISCONNECTED AND PORTED MY NUMBER TO AIRTEL. BUT IT IS VERY SAD TO SAY WHEN I PUT THE NEW AIRTEL SIM INTO MY MOBILE PHONE, I SEE THAT SIM CAN NOT REGISTER. LATER I GET TO KNOW DUE TO WRONG SIM NUMBER ENTRY BY THE AIRTEL CUSTOMER CARE I COULD NOT GET NETWORK WHICH WAS PROVIDED BY AIRTEL CUSTOMER CARE OFFICE. For your kind information I would like to inform you that I know it has been already ported to airtel network, but after ported I incerted new AIRTEL sim in to my mobile, which was provided by Airtel Office, Berhampur, Odisha. Later I get to see CAN NOT REGISTER SIM. The next day when I inquired this matter to Airtel Office (where I requested for porting), the Airtel centre incharge Mr Gopi. along with his executive lady officer checked in their system and told me the wrong sim serial number entered by airtel office. The serial number displaying in their system is completely different from my sim serial number provided by Airtel Office Berhampur. So as they required I again submitted my Id &amp; address proof and a passport size photograph. But still 5 days passed the concerned customer service lady appointed at Berhampur airtel office is only responding me that she has emailed on this matter to their higher authority to correction the wrong entry of serial number and solve the issue. I have asked her to provide her higher authority's contact number but she has not given me and telling me wait for some more days. She could not reply me the exact date or time to solve my matter. I have told her that the said number is my business number for which I have faced loss of lakhs of rupees for communication fail. Please take this matter as an urgent basis to solve the matter. For the mistake of Airtel office due to their wrong entry of sim serial number the issue created. I could not understand a big brand in telecommunication is doing such an useless customer support.They are not caring the people. Thanks

                              I made a call to Airtel customer service for a 4G dongle. They sent me a sales person who sold me the dongle and convinced me to opt for 3g & 4g combo plan. Next months she came picked up 4 months bills as advance and did not post it for months. Airtel barred my account on Feb 26. Then when I raised the concern to 121 they reactivated my account but the amount was not processed yet. The sales person is not reachable, her manager could not post the payment. Right now I have been robbed in fair daylight. Is it possible not to trust the same person who sold the product to pay for bills?

                                  I am a resident of Chennai, and I have a very limited option of broadband services, so I chose airtel. Initially their service was good, internet was decent, service was decent, but over time all their standards dropped severely. The past 3 months ive had the Most frequently disconnecting internet service Possible. They sent their good for nothing service advisor who has promised me atleast 10 times that the cable has been cut and replaced and they fixed it. The internet will work for the evening, by 9-10 in the night it's gone. I'm bloody Fed up. DO NOT GET AIRTEL. EXPENSIVE IS ALL THEY ARE.

The executive (sales) charged me according to mega pack which includes every channel and have applied a downgraded pack. This dealer have been procastinating the change of plans since 7th and is not pickpicking up the phone.. Have talked on customer care. Issue resolved but irresponsible behaviour of airtel dealers.

                                      I had done recharge of Rs. 198/- at 6:30 PM on 18/03/2015 through net banking. On internet as per your tariff on the home page screen you are offering 650 MB data on the recharge of Rs. 198/-. But till 30 min after the recharge i have not got the balance. then i called to customer care no. Mr. Santosh Varma told me that "we are offering 25500 sec airtel to other mob. on recharge of 198/-. then i asked him for 25500 sec which i have not received till yet. then he cut my call. I have all the details of transaction with you, all the screen shots of your tariff which is shown on your web site. kindly suggest how to get my balance either 650 MB data or 25500 seconds.
