I and few of my fellow housing owners have come across a serious problem with respect to the forceful installation of mobile tower even after requesting to stop the work which is not appropriately done with respect to the distance and also not keeping in view the adverse effects post operationalisation of the same.

An Airtel mobile tower is being installed almost on top of our houses which is not even away more than 15 mtrs from our houses. The building on which the tower is getting installed is an educational institution namely Ranjit Bed College owned by the same individual getting the tower installed.

Further, the tower is getting installed just overhead of our homes which are built within the frame of (15 - 20 meters) from the tower.

We would like to lodge complaint on behalf of residents of Bandhu Rakh, Kunjwani, Jammu, J&K, INDIA against the installation and functioning of mobile phone tower consisting of atleast 4 GSM and some parabolic antennas, thereby putting the life of residents in hazardous and tensed situation.

As you might also be aware of the fact that, the Mobile Tower has to be installation approx.50-100 meters away from the residential area or as per the count of the antennas due to the emissions of high intensity electromagnetic radiations.

The same was escalated via telephonic conversation to the installing firm namely Ericsson and inturn to the authoroties of the primary company, Airtel communication but all in vain as no one is ready to listen to our request and the installation and structural work towards the operationalisation of it is continued in double speed to avoid any interruptions.

As per the rules, it is the necessary for any tower company to take the concent / No objection certificate from the society which was bypassed as it was known to the sole agencies that the same will be turned down, as proper SOP's were not in place.

We therefore request and urge you, to kindly look into the matter personally and the above stated tower be removed immediately from the residential area in order to prevent further damage to the health of innocent people of the society

Dear Sir/ Madam,

With respect to my earlier mail with which I had complained of Airtel not following the distance protocols for installation of mobile tower.

This is to update you the post your notification to Airtel, a team comprising of Mr Gagan and Mr. Ravinder Manhas approached me approx. 02 week back, to make us satisfy and to continue with the tower at the same distance. It was revealed by them that there will not be any adverse effect of the radiations which are radiated by the tower placed just above our house.

Further this is to inform you that I have requested them to send the society an email which should contain the contents that these radiations are not harmful upto atleast 20mtrs as per their confirmation so that we are preety sure and are not always in dilemma what to do. They assured the same but till date no one has done the same as they had assured of sharing the same post concent with their Legal team.

Further, this is now found that the tower has been operationali even after consumer court notified them about the same.

I request you to please look into this to save precious human lives.

        I have been using Airtel since 10 years now, despite being such a loyal customer since the past 2 years, I have not been getting any network, people are never able to reach me, I’m always out of service area, this happens to me irrespective of the city I’m in, this is a threat to my safety and it makes me feel redundant having to recharge so much and yet get so services.

        I have also lost valuable opportunities due to being unreachable and have been told that my phone is always switched off.

        I’m fed up of their service and I have faced multiple situations where I struggled because I wasn’t able to reach anyone nor was anybody able to contact me, I want to take legal action against Airtel.

        I don’t get internet, I don’t get signal, it almost feels like I have a phone but crave for a Wifi everywhere,

        I’ve been humiliated on multiple occasions as to failure o[censored]PI transactions due to unavailability of SIM network.

        I’m brief I want to take a legal action against the problem I’ve facing as a consequence to

        1. Threat to my constant safety
        2. Unable to make UPI transactions in public
        3. Waste of money on Airtel recharge of minimum Rs 400/500 every month for unlimited calls and 3GB data every month but end of wasting all the money
        4. My personal and professional life is always being affected, I’m never available, sometimes it appears as if I actually decline calls which is not the case.
        5. I WANT TO TAKE ANY AND EVERY LEGAL ACTION.

          My concern is that my airtel sim today by itself is not working so for duplicate/replacement sim I had visited 2 airtel store in my nearby with proper document but they said that we charge Rs 150 for the same.
          Is this service is chargeable ? I don't think so.

          So, please help me regarding this and take necessary action on it.

            They deactivated the fastag and close the Airtel Bank Account within a year taking advantage of Covid situation. And now they have not refunded the closing amount and it's already 1.5 months since the account is closed

              Sir, I have done prepaid recharged Rs.383 having offer on Airtel thanks app(4% discount on 399). While transferring this amount from PhonePe app via RazorpayAirtel. It gets deducted from my SBI bank account but no recharge done by Airtel on 24/07/2021. Please do the needful to refund this amount.

                  This compaint is with respect to account[protected]_kk
                  In this covid pandemic I have had to leave bangalore. I had called the customer care executive and asked to put the connection on hold for some time. They assured me the same but to my surprise monthly bill was generated. I called the customer care again for the reason, and they agreed to rectify it.
                  But there is no rectification happening. I am getting calls every other day from airtel to pay my due bills. I tell them my concern, they make a note but the issue still remains. Couple of days back they generated another bill on top of the earlier generated amount despite my account being on barred state.
                  This is pure harassment.
                  Please do the needful at the earliest and take care of your customer needs. We are all going through a lot during this time, last thing you need being harassed over payment for services that i have not used.

                    Hello I am Bhavna, from Jammu, I have some issues regarding service. At the time of installation of fibre at my home place, the technician didn't place the wires properly through the window because he didn't carry the proper equipments for installation and he make sure that he would do it after few days .
                    Then since 3-4 months he haven't fixed that wiring issues and now also they are not answering calls ... It's so disgusting of them...

                    MY Duly recharged prepaid Sim stop working unknowingly. Using the Sim from last several years. Contacted the customer store they told I have to replace the Sim. On submitting the documents they told not matching, as old Sim is in some other name. I told them to update the Sim owner details but they said need to convert the Sim in postpaid.
                    Very unpleasant behavior, lost the calls and contact. There might be some solution to carry the old number with new owners detail.

                        My Name is Tusher Kanti Bhattacharjee. I'm a customer of Bharati Airltel. My contact no. is [protected]. In 17th July I recharge my Airtel sim with 49₹ plan, which is activates for 28 days. In 28th July Airtel hikes their minimum recharge plan from 49₹ to 79₹. But no Sms in this pack. For sms recharge plan is 129₹. By the way I decided to port my sim to BSNL & I sent request for Porting. But "PORT [protected]" request evertime invalid. Retailer told me that now 49₹ plan is not for sms, for Porting you must recharge 129₹ plan.But why? I recharged my plan in 17th July & Airtel hikes their tarrifs in 28th July. Then why my plan is not valid for sms? Is this fare? According to Airtel thanks app Still 7 days, 25₹ & 37 sms left for my plan . Then why I not getting UPC code for Porting ?

                          Airtel prepaid user for 18 years.
                          Recent days they are changing and altering the entry level recharge plans to their likings.

                          Recently months their was RC23 plan for keeping the sim alive for a month, after that they slowly hiked to RC49 and now its & RC79.

                          I usually recharge RC48 for 28days - 3GB data plan that would be sufficient for me as i don't make many calls.

                          Nowadays they are simply robbing people. I have recharged RC19 ( twice due to network problem) and topped up 10 ruppes recharge to send SMS verification to validate the some apps on that number.

                          Customer service is very poor. 198 IVR didn't have any response for any keys i would press. After going to nearby shop i came to know that i need to recharge 129 just to send one SMS..! even though i have a validity and some balance in that active number.

                          So frustrated and even tried porting to another network. After their ridiculous price hike. so many opting out of the network so they want to rob as much as they can before they leave.

                          Only those can afford high recharge value can have all the features and rest cannot use the basic features even if they have main balance in their account. TRAI needs to regularise these things and help poor people . Those can't afford 300 or 400 per month.

                          Definitely opting out of this network after this bitter experience.

                            I have recharged with Rs. 49 every month and get the validity of 28days for incoming and outgoing call and SMS services but now operator has barred my SMS service. When i called to customer care they said SMS is barred by TRAI on my number from 11th of June. I am not aware about that never i get any notification from Airtel about that.

                              I already called to airtel customer care they gave that solution to me.
                              Kindly remove DND from my number as soon as possible.

                                I was having airtel plan as below
                                Advance Rental Plan for your Airtel Xstream Fiber ID[protected]_mh is auto-renewed on 13-MAR-21.

                                Your plan details are:
                                Plan rental: Rs. 799 /month
                                ARP amount: Rs 2397
                                Duration : 3 months
                                Start date: 13-MAR-21
                                End Date: 12-JUN-21

                                I have paid the bill of Rs 2397 in the month of March’21.
                                Later, on 23 Apr’21 I have requested for closure of my connection as I moved to my native place during pandemic and was not using the Internet. My request was placed with the Airtel team and they confirmed that I will receive my refund amount within 30 days or so.
                                I have been raising request for my refund on their customer support email ID [protected]@in.airtel.com, but no response received. I have also contacted their customer care and they just informed they can’t to anything we have to drop an email to [protected]@in.airtel.com
                                I want my refund, this quiet repetitive issue with Airtel

                                  I subscribed for 6 months and it is ending today (Aug 04, 2021). As per their rules we should recharge on or before last day of subscription end day otherwise I should pay ₹15 extra as activation of disconnected DTH. I recharged today (Aug 04, 2021) To avoid activation fee. As per new plan I have validity for 180 days. However, the previous plan disconnected immediately after recharge and the new plan started as soon as recharge (the activated immediately and now I have 179 days of instead of 180 days)

                                    Airtel has completely switched off their customer service. I have reported below issues and not only their customer service but their Airtel Stores have DENIED SUPPORT and closed open cases without resolution

                                    1) No Supervisor or Manager called since last 3 months i am trying to get help
                                    2) RUDE Cusotmer Service both on 121 and Airtel Store, as if their Management has instructed them to insult customers
                                    3) Nodal Authority and Grievances redressal keep their phone off during working hours. If you Manage to reach someone they hung up on you.
                                    4) Airtel Presence is a JOKE. They chat with you but do nothing.
                                    5) Airtel Secure offering is a FAKE claim. They will never let you claim it but they will sell it in their advertisements. Struggling for months and not a single Customer service representative is aware of what that is
                                    6) Every time you call their Customer Service and Supervisor callbacks, they have really really bad phone connections. Broken headphone where the MIC has issues. Impossible to Talk. I HAVE RECORDINGS TO PROVE
                                    7) NETWORK ISSUES ARE PATHETIC AND THEIR ARE CALL DROPS, UNABLE TO HEAR THE OTHER PERSON.
                                    8) THEY CLAIM "WE WONT STOP TILL WE ANSWER ALL YOUR QUESTION" . THEIR ANSWER IS SUPERVISOR WILL CALL. AND TRUST ME NOBODY CALLS. they even drop emails that they tried to reach, but you will not have any miss call. and even if they call see complaint no.6

                                    IN SHORT AIRTEL IS RUNNING OUT OF BUSINESS AND THEY HAVE STOPPED CUSTOMER SERVICE TOTALLY

                                      I am resident of kishtwar, jammu and kashmir. I am facing voice cracking problem from past one month and it is getting worst as day by day. However airtel tower is not far from home it is only 500 mtrs from my house. Internet is working fine but problem is with calls
