I purchased an INFERNO device from Airtel. I regret to inform you that the device is not working from the date of its purchase.       Post paid connection No.[protected] was surrendered on 09.07.2014 at Airtel Office, Anna Nagar, Madurai after making full payment of Rs.370/-. This was acknowledged by Airtel, Anna Nagar, Madurai (PSG Communication). On 12.07.2014, the surrender was confirmed by an official of Airtel. But, to my surprise, I have today (08.08.2014) received a bill for Rs.111. How can you raise a bill after the surrender was accepted and confirmed by you. Kindly look into the matter and stop raising bill in future.

        My name is Vikram Singla. My number is [protected].I have put Port In request in Airtel via a local agency LRK Groups, New Delhi on Jul 04, 2014. These guys took 250/- in advance in terms of security deposit which is still OK. I got n number of calls in one month till Aug 04, 2014 stating that they are facing some challenges and every times these guys will demand certain details, which become so irritating when it starts coming twice a day.Finally I got port out message from my current operator on Aug 04, 2014 and accidentally I was hospitalized because of my face surgery and I was unable to talk. These airtel buggers did not activate my Sim stating n number of reasons.Even being in hospital, I was out of touch from every body. Then also I am following up with these guys to activate my number but till date no luck. I am being tourchered like anything and every time I calls their customer care they hang up on me and I never gets a reply.

        After this complaint also, there is no movement in my complaint status. It is been 7 days, I am still with out any contact.

        It seems Airtel is flooding with lots of customers. Is there any escalation mechanism available in this organisation, where in a customer can go to give honest feedback. I am still struggling to have my phone working from last 7 days.

        Do you really think, this is the way a customer must have been dealt with.

        I was using Vodafone connection with 375 rental plan. Idea representative told me a plan of 200 + 150 (1GB) with in IDEA. I gave connectionport reqest and it got processed. After conversion I got to know that 150 for 1 GB is only for 3 months after that I will have to pay 250 for the same.

        Now is there any forum where I can regster for the same and how can I take action against IDEA. Now both manager and representative are refusing to listen and are saying they have told earlier. Can you please tell me how can we stop this fraud so that in future this will not happen.

          Seriously, Bharti Airtel Ltd think-tank need to look at thier processes in depth ... in starting i had taken the plan of 2G for a day but as i am not getting the speed i had changed the plan from 2G to 3G but the speed problem remain the same after this i had complain to your customer care so many times but no satisfactory answer.I had given the request for the port out also and then i got the call from the customer support team regarding the 3G speed and port out and they retain me by providing some Rs100/- talk time but my motive is not to get that then i had visit your local showroom also again no use of visiting. After a couple of weeks, again i am facing the same problem means i had been complaining n number of times and on but you people could not solve the problem, today i had given one article to amar ujjala, and danik jagran against the bharti airtel ltd regarding the 3G speed and the problem which had not been solved by so many days and i am sorry to say but now your services going WORST day by day.I had my anger to a level where I could have hit the person if he/she was physically present before me ... the most ridiculous thing I've heard from a telecom company that should do anything to keep their customers happy and extra effort made to the ones who's been loyal and for so long. I'm hoping that this eventually gets people higher up in Bharti Airtel Ltd as audience and see what pains we go through for no fault of our own. Airtel Number:-[protected]

            Hi There, My Name is Sagar, using a contact number registered under the corporate account(CUG) of "Goldsquare sales india pvt ltd." Having a CUG account, i always felt that the calls made with in the same corporate circle would not be charged. Same was happening untill this month when i received a Bill which quoted some vague numbers against the CUG calls made. I have been talking to various C.Sat Execs since morning {Manish, then Sayeed, then a Manager Shyam(i believe) & then a lady who gave me a SR no 57518181} However, none of them haven't been to solve my issues. Manish connects me on a call to the Floor Manager and disconnects the call deliberately after making me wait on the call for almost 9 minutes along with a continued call of 20+ minutes. Sayeed tells me, my bill plan has been changed! I mean, Seriously? I need my corporate account (CUG) connection as the same it was given to me under the same Corporate. How can such a big Brand change the Bill plan of a customer, just like that. Rgds SG PS: Do me a favour, pl dont send any computerized mail as a revert of this mail.

                    I am complaining here out of frustration after struggling to get my money back from Airtel for more than one year.
                    I payed Rs. 3, 450 in cash during May2013 to get a new broadband connection in BEML Layout, Bangalore. The guy who came to collect money promised to give the connection in 3 days(Sales person Dhananjai - [protected]). It has been more than one year now and i did not get the connection as well as my money. I have raised so many complaints and they say that the cheque with my money will be handed over to me. I did not get my money back yet. My application number is TBLR645591. Airtel is the cheapest fraudulent company. The Airtel people said that there is no facility for broadband connection in my place. But the sales rep collected money stating he will give the connection. After complaining a lot of times they promised to send the cheque but they have never returned. The reason they give is that my number is not reachable. But i get useless calls from airtel to my same number. They just have some reason not to give my money back. I had even given alternate number but they never called.
                    The recent ticket I raised with Airtel is 48172820. Rahul was the one who attended the call and promised to escalate to Ms.Asma, his manager.
                    The previous tickets I had raised were[protected]attended by Krishna),[protected]Not sure who attended this but I was told that they had generated a cheque and couldn't reach me to give me the cheque. But they never called and it is reason they give),[protected] attended by Shreddha). Every time I am promised to receive the money in 10 days. This has never happened for an year now. I have wasted all my time and energy on this. Every time I spend atleast 30 minutes in customer care call (not at all exaggerating. I actually spend half an hour explaining my problem to customer care) and the problem is not resolved yet. Will Airtel take the responsibility of giving the money back along with the interest and compensate for the time and money lost in this case???
                    I even complaint in Akosha - to resolve consumer complaints. The aitrtel person has replied stating that they have provided resolution. They did not provide any resolution yet. They are cheap frauds and they are not planning to return my money.

                    We were going through old complaints that we were not able to resolve and came across the one filed by you (#900086). I know this is very late but we are extremely sorry that we could not help you. Resolving consumer complaints is very challenging and we are not successful every time. We are learning from our mistakes and trying hard to get past the constraints that we still face to improve the resolution rate. Hope you will also understand our situation.

                        Wanted to convert Airtel prepaid to postpaid. After I receive the calls from the representatives explaining the procedure n requirement. They sent there representative to collect the documents and I Submitted the required documents documents (driving licience xerox and aadhar card zerox), photos along with deposit amount of Rs.300 on 01/08/2014, even after asking I have been not given any receipt saying it is not required since I made an online request for the conversion of the service. Since then there is no progress and the representatives and the staff member have no clue about the status and the documents. There is no proper response from the customer care representatives also, they could not tell me what i should do or what can be done in this case, they did not let me speak to any senior manager or one who can handle such cases. there was "0" help from the customer care. Even the company website where I could lodge a complaint are not working properly, even after trying end number of times to lodge a complaint on the company website " www.airtel.in. " it was not taking my complaint. A serious action needs to be taken to stop Airtel from harassing their customers like this.

                          sir, myself amit agarwal...mobile no.[protected]...i have been using this no. for very long and i m in ur premium customer category...i was having advance rental plan of 998/- on this very no...so i used to get the refund of 298/- every month on my bill...but i have not received this benefit in my june and july billing...their also some extra charges of 140/- approx for some kind of t.v usage in my july billing which i haven't used at all...kindly see to it and hope i will get my refund back in my next billing...and even if their is any change in my billing plan than i have not been informed about that...hope for ur co operation... thanx... amit agarwal alt. no.[protected]

                                    Dealing with Airtel customer service representatives, service centres, as well as nodal officers have been a nightmare over the last month.

                                    My first association with this company started when I subscribed to the airtel fixed line broadband connection (6 month advance rental plan) which as per airtel emails were activated on 19 June 2014. Since they have a billing cycle from 26 - 25 of every month, they sent me a bill which read as 26 May to 25 June and the total payable amount of 7298/-. As I have to submit internet bills to my company for reimbursement, I requested them to send me appropriate bill, which captures activation/ start date of plan and billing period. To my surprise, Airtel does not have a system in place where they can issue such a bill which captures facts correctly. Then requested them to issue me a letter instead stating billing details, plan rental, activation date etc but they could not issue me the same as well. Tired with my efforts, I requested them to cancel the connection. Then 1 rude customer service rep from their Bangalore team called me and asked me to visit the Airtel gallery where supposedly I was to get solution to my problem (details on airtel letterhead). After visiting the gallery, I was told that no bill/ letter will be issued there and I was to contact customer care for the same. Since it was the FIFA world cup time, Airtel too was playing football with me with customer service reps and Airtel gallery passing the buck from one to another.

                                    Finally I decided to confirm my cancellation request and volunteered to pay pro-rata for the no of days I used their service. They took 7 days to cancel the service after all this drama. More so the customer reps told me to pay the entire outstanding amount of 7298/- for using 20 days (from 19 Jun to 9 Jul). Then when I wrote to them an email saying I wont pay a penny if asked to pay the entire amount but I am willing to pay if they rationally send me pro-rata bill, the nodal officer got in touch with me and asked me to pay 1167/- (on email) for 24 days usage. I told them that 24 days is factually incorrect as I used only for 20 days. To this, they agreed (on phone) for me to settle the issue by making full and final payment of some 950/-. I agreed to this and asked them to send me an invoice for this amount with correct details so that I could pay.

                                    I was waiting for this invoice when they sent their representative to my house today to harass us. Further, they called me today and asked for full payment of 7298/-. Some Ashish Patil from the Malad Interface office spoke to me and was exceptionally rude. When I told them that I am already in touch with nodal and appellate officers over the issue, they still insisted on me explaining the issue to them again (which btw I have done at least 20 times now with different airtel reps) They said 950/- payment is like "bheek" for Airtel and they challenged me to withold this payment and face legal action from Airtel.

                                    It is appalling that one of the largest telecom companies in India has such poor systems that they cannot generate appropriate invoices or confirm billing plans on airtel letterheads. Isn't it inappropriate for a telco to charge a postpaid customer without sending appropriate billing invoice. They say that they can only send emails but no proper tax invoices with correct details such as activation or start date/ billing period. I hope the regulators take note of this high-handedness by the company on top of their service deficiency. To make matters worse, their customer service representatives are just not trained well enough to understand customer queries or concerns and some are outright rude.

                                    I am waiting to hear from Airtel on this issue. I have complete record of my email conversations and I hope the recorded conversations are actually recorded and not tampered with by the company. Waiting to receive their notice and drag them to consumer court for harassment and deficiency in service. If there is any lawyer/ expert on this forum who can guide me on the way forward it will be highly appreciated. For the record, I have not missed a single utility/ phone payment over last 8 years and same with my EMI and credit card bills.

                                    I went to an airtel gallery in Mira road east near Singapore plaza. The customer care incharge name was Mr. Rinku & he was a crook who first took money of full talk time recharge of Rs.170 and then he never did any recharge when I found later on after dialling *123#. Then to my dismay I went back to the gallery and he was so rude to me & kept on arguing though I had proof to show him that he didn't do my recharge. Then after awhile of being arrogant and extremely rude he said "ok now u can go home and your balance is done & it will be activated after one hour", so I came back & restarted my fone and again though the balance showed I couldn't make any outgoing calls. This is so ridiculous that airtel is so unprofessional and keeps goons as their staff who act as if they are doing a favour to us customers. I called customer service and found out that the gallery I went to hadn't activated my services at all and hence all my outgoing calls were barred.
                                    This ia not the first time that I had such a bad experience with the mira road Singapore plaza branch, it has happened three times before and I'm very annoyed of how the customer care staff has arrogance filled rude attitude.
                                    Kindly please look into the matter as Its giving a bad name to airtel.

                                        I have a Airtel prepaid 3G dongle connection of Assam Circle which I am have been successfully using in roaming until last week in Kolkata circle of Airtel. When I connected yesterday there was no connection both in 2G, 3G. Today after repeated complaints Airtel customer care informs me that now in certain circles you have to pay for 3G in roaming including the Kolkata circle. How can a company like Airtel change its rules overnight? This cheating as I have recharged for 2.5GB which will expire on 28th August 2014 and will be in Kolkata most of this period. What is the legal recourse for it? My SIM no is [protected].

                                        My name is mani. I live in mumbai powai.
                                        I have a airtel prepaid number 3g on my phone never works and i have filled soo many complaints to airtel customer service reversing this they don't even care of complaints it's been 3 months I'm not able to get the 3G services in my phone. It's not an issue with my phone or the area with other sim card it would fine and with wifi it works fine. The only internet thing i could use is my whatsapp and that too i can't download anything. I pay around 1000rs a month to recharge on my internet and this is what j have been getting. Airtel is a bad network ever.. 😟
