I have been a Airtel broadband Customer since 2006 which is almost 7 years .You can please check my records I have been one of the first airtel broadband customers in the Kundan bagh locality .
Infact it was because of my interventions with other neighbours that airtel , had got the broadband cable line dug up in the Kundan Bagh locality.There was Huge problem while taking up the broadband connection , but finally airtel broadband was there in the area.

But , Recently , my job location has shifted to Mumbai & USA , in the month of June,2012 . After 30th June I was not staying in my place. I asked for the disconnection of the Broadband services of airtel fixed line on[protected] & also on[protected] .But my emails were forwarded to care.[protected]@airtel.in . Hence, they could not reach you and I was also not contacted for the same .

Then I again emailed you on[protected] regarding the disconnection of broadband services but was trying to keep the landline active . But since , I was entirely not staying in the premises I asked for entire disconnection after speaking to the customer care executive (reference number:[protected]. I requested for entire disconnection of Airtel fixed line services.

But , my fixed line services were still active , I was stationed out of town , I gave repeated calls
on[protected],[protected] and also[protected] . But still then the fixed line services were active . I was told that they would seven working days to cancel the fixed line services .

Finally , on[protected], the customer care and also airtel representative told me that the services were disconnected , I also wrote an email the same day stating that the disconnection should be done immediately since I am not staying in the town. I got a confirmation regarding the disconnection on 8th September .I was also told that I’ll not be billed after[protected] reference# 21058652.

But I am extremely shocked when I received , a bill for the month of September stating Rs 390 which is three times the amount , which was outstanding . and that too in the month of September . when I got repeated calls from the current house owner saying that the amount is due , I immediately called the customer care which also confirmed that the amount of Rs[protected] which on a pro data basis went ahead and has now become Rs 390.

And this amount was because airtel has taken seven days for the disconnection[protected] to[protected] and the state that , Rs 259 is charged for the rentel , please let me know that ,
1.) why is that airtel staff never contacted me in the month of September regarding this issue of pending payment?
2) Why airtel staff never gava email regarding it ? and why is that I am being charged for the services which I didn’t use?
3) why is that I am being told about all this now after the bill is generated?
4) if airtel would have informed me regarding the pending amount why will I not pay that on time?
5) why is that airtel never tells its customer about the issues from their end?
6) airtel should take their standard operating procedure and immediately inform the user who has disconnected the line for the outstanding amount ?

I got repeated calls at my office stating that the amount is due the outstanding amount staing that I need to repay . I called up the customer care and they gave me the intervention number[protected] for the billed amount to be decreased to Rs 90 . But That complaint is still said to be open.

I also contacted the the customer care again and asked for , this mistake and requested them to entirely cancel the bill since I was staying in Mumbai . complaint number 23469226.
Still then the complaint number is still unattended and open. I finally asked my former neighbor and my colleague to pay Rs 90 to the Begumpet white house airtel center. But They told him that they cannot accept the amount and one has to pay at the airtel Headoffice .

Please note that this happened on 16th October

I still contacted the customer care to intervene and they gave me another complaint number 23469226 , requesting for the billed amount to be Rs 90.

Because of all these problem, I am requesting you to please resolve the issue at the earliest . Because of all these problem I again contacted the airtel customer care service to cancel the outstanding amount of Rs390. As airtel was not accepting the amount, at the collection centre.Hence I was given the complaint number 23342632 for the waiver of outstanding amount .

On October 19th 2012 , I received called from Airtel Executive Miss Mohsina regarding the resolution of the the disconnection problem , she confirmed that airtel has given me a waiver of Rs. 390 for the outstanding amount and gave me the resolution number[protected] .

I also spoke after this to the airtel customer care and also confirmed the waiver which I had received for the airtel outstanding amount and the current balance was zero .

On 19th December 2012 I am getting a email from airtel saying that I will have to pay the outstanding amount of Rs 390 , and if it is not paid they will issue a legal notice .

I would like to remind that , I’ll be taking airtel internet connection & airtel tv , when I get back to Hyderabad , in april/may 2013 after my current project is finished.

With reference to your email dated[protected] , I have not been contacted b on[protected], I was never given a email or any other response.

When I am trying to send the email to Neetu.[protected]@in.airtel.com I am getting a failure delivery , this email of Miss/Mrs Neetu Singh is written in the email I received.

I just want to know , is this airtel really contacting me or this is just some spam email. Because the concerned email is not present on the domino directory and I am getting failure delivery message.

This is issue is already resolved , I do not know why is that airtel contacting me and when I reply back I am getting a failure delivery message .

I want to know regarding my security deposit when will airtel give me the security deposit , which they had taken at the time of instalation .
Rs 1500 was paid at the time of installation , of which Rs 500 was the security deposit .

Also , i will be taking the airtel broadband connection next year when i am in Hyderabad , as i am working in Mumbai office , hence it is not required for me to take a fixed broadband connection .

if airtel is issuing legal notice , and backtracking on their statements and giving false email ids and phone number to contact , will this increase customer satisfaction or decrease customer satisfaction , i have been airtel customer for seven years so far .

I have faith in airtel , why is airtel backtracking , on their own statement. I still do beleive in airtel , Kindly resolve the matter and give me a written reply .

I do have plans to take airtel cable tv and airtel broadband but airtel is engaging in such practices will do more harm its own reputation .


Kindly please resolve this issue and respect the cutomer , let me know about the security deposit .

    Issue - Applied for Airtel broadband connection on Dec 4th and submitted all the papers on Dec 8th. Airtel didn't installed the broadband and they are not replying when it can be installed.

    Here are the follow-up details.

    Dec 4th - Raised an online request for broadband request. As per below a representative was supposed to call me in 48 hrs. They called me
    after 36 hours.

    Dec 8th - Submitted the application

    Dec 13th - Dec 16th - Followed up with Airtel customer service - Complain number 25968176

    Dec 16th - Sent an email to [protected]@in.airtel.com with subject Complain Id[protected]

    Dec 18th - Sent an email to apellate.[protected]@in.airtel.com - No response

    Dec 21st - Sent an email to Sunil Mittal. Waiting for response

      Ththere is a problem registered on 26th November regarding the NETWORK FAILURE ISSUE at the below mentioned location
      Basement Plot No 482 Sector 4 vaishali Ghaziabad U.P. 201010 near metro station parking.

      This is to the kind notice for the employees of BHARTI AIRTEL that the kind of services being delivered by AIRTEL does not up to the mark. Its being almost a month being passed that the network signal problem is not yet being improved & the same problem of failure of network continues. If Airtel Commits to the fact that they are being en devoured for the fast improvement of your services than its totally wrong . If you commits to go for an extra mile than the efforts you have shown to correct the network at the premises mentioned above & also in my previous mails from rahul.[protected]@darkhors.co.in

      As the location being already surveyed by your engineer twice , 1st visit on 27th & 2nd one few days later & the report that was generated & the solution to the problem being provided was that the location require the installation of booster . And as far as Booster price is confirmed It is not that costly that AIRTEL CANNOT afford it as far as revenues are concerned .

      Despite of several complaints & requests , It seems that BHARTI AIRTEL is not interested in solving the problem but to give LAME EXCUSES.

      Due to this indifferent behavior towards us MY business is hampering and I cannot able to communicate to the world. Despite of giving assurance of solving, BHARTI AIRTEL is doing NOTHING for us. We really feel very disappointed .

      We are expecting the Positive solution from AIRTEL not a LAME EXCUSES or FAKE ASSURANCE .

I missed the call ,and in turn when I called back,could not reach it and it was playing some customised messages form that service provider .What stuck me was that it contained lots o[censored]rdu/ arabic terms, I got suspicious and when I searched over internet, i found that Its a number from Pakistan.Now I want to know how is my number going available overseas to some other neighboring country , and what steps should airtel as a service provider take to ensure the privacy of the numbers of its customers and steps to be taken by airtel to stop these fraudulent calls from reaching Indian citizens?

              AirTel — deduction of money without activating any service

              Respected sir i have an airtel connection from last two months.In these two months the company had deducted more than 200 rupees from my account balance without subscribing any service and when they cut balance they reply with a message that u have downladed a game,subscribed a service but when ever i check my phone nothing is found neither the game nor the service is activated on my phone. Sir I hope that you will take neccessary steps towards this problem and in returning my deducted money Sushant maggo
              airtel is the most third class company. they deducted 80 rs of my ballance and liad that i have activated some services. and their customer care execute was forcing me to accept their lie. he was rigid on his part and he was rude to me. and this is not the first time that airtel has done today. previously also they have deducted my ballance without my knowledge.. i would request to take quick action against this hypocrates.

                Hi This varun i am using airtel IPTV since last 2 years . last month i had some issues with my connection so i raised a request online n over the phone also. so tech said my computer is not working now call us later. i suggested him i am free only for today, i wouldn't be able to complaint again n register my complaint. he said it;s ok. n cut the phone when i received my bill it shows i have to pay same amount which i usually paid every month. but my iptv was not working for 8-10 days. so i called him guys he said i cannot give any resolution. n we have deducted 100 late fee. then i complaint again online through service request, they have closed all my service requests. so this is happening with me . y should i pay full charges. please give me resolution ASAP.

                Hi,
                My bill plan has been changed abruptly without my knowledge. Hence, a huge bill amount of 15000/- has been generated. I have already called many number of times to the call center asking for the correction. I have first raised the complaint on oct 7th with complaint no.5310648. I have not seen any progress nor any changes inspite of calling the customer care almost every day. The customer care is the worst, no idea whatsoever, as to how to proceed further. Airtel needs to do something about it inorder not to lose their customers.

                Just wanted to lodge a serious complaint against Airtel Broadband for my connection [protected]. First I was trying to resolve the billing issue from the month of Sep' 11 then somehow when I got it sorted out after the Full and Final Settlement by paying INR 6043/-.
                I have been getting calls from different departments of Airtel for bill payment and to retain that connection. I am going through a mental trauma and would like to file CIVIL CASE against them for harassing the customer at it limits.
                I am a BP patient and whenever these guys call me I have to go through this annoying situation every time. Please help me know what's going to happen if something happens to me because of their continuous torch-er????
                Airtel going to takecare of my family after my demise???
                Why are they after my life???
                I just want to file a case for what all I have suffered through these guys????

                Please let me know what all is going to take to close this matter as
                after settling this account and apologies from you all i am still
                getting calls and bills to make the payment on this settled account.

                For your information this account has been settled on 04th Dec 11 by
                the payment of INR 6043/- for which i was provided with NOC and Cash
                Receipt. I am again attaching the copy for the same.

                Now. I am a BP patient and I am really FED UP and cant take it
                anymore. Is there is anyone in your dept. who can address this issue
                in humane manner as all this time i can see only false promises and
                commitments.

                  3 month ago i brought new airtel connection ([protected]).
                  I usually do recharges using Internet, airtel.in or paytm.com.
                  I wanted to recharge for a internet plan which i check on the service *567# provided by the airtel, and for more detail i checked their website airtel.in and saw the plan as follows:
                  Rs 149 - unlimited internet(2GB+data) for 30 days.
                  i tried to recharge using airtel.in Online recharge service but it did not went write. i tried twice but even after my online payment was successful it did not happened.
                  i called customer care for support but their response was poor.
                  i tried using the paytm.com and recharged successfully but the result was wrong
                  i got 1500 airtel to airtel minutes instead of the unlimited internet. this way i lost 149 rupees for nothing as my airtel to airtel calling uses is very less. again i called customer care and they told me that, "you get internet plan on RC149 if you do recharge from airtel.in or else from airtel retailer". i went to do recharge from retailer and again recharge for rs 149 and again i got 1500 airtel to airtel minutes instead of the internet plan. this way i lost 298 rupees unnecessarily due to the wrong information placed on the airtel.in and on *567# service.
                  following are the recharge details.
                  also there is another wrong detail on the airtel:
                  when i dial *123# to check my balance a plan is displayed there : unlimited internet for 1 day dial *567*1# but when we dial, it displays invalid option please dial *567#

                  the unlimitid internet plan is actually of rupees 148 on internet which on their service *567# and airtel.in is not mentioned. which i saw after getting second time wrong recharge on the offer banner on the retailer's wall.


                  1. recharge amount 149 using paytm.com on 20-December-2012 near about 5PM
                  2. recharge amount 149 from retailer on 20-December-2012 near about 7:30PM
                  i called customer care from my number as well as other airtel number but instead of providing solution they put me on hold and disconnected.

                  Bharti Airtel — Wrongly treatment of Recharge amount

                  Airtel Facts:
                  1) Phone nos [protected] and [protected]
                  2) Easy Recharge of Rs 250/= each on above two numbers around 6th May '10.

                  Result:
                  1) Only Rs 50/= talk time was given each.
                  2) One paisa One minute scheme withdrawn.
                  3) Now per call charge is coming Rs One.
                  4) Toll free no 198 is not responding.

                  Trend:
                  Earlier Jokes,IPL match subscription,News Subscription were being activated by the operator without my knowledge or without being asked.By the time you request for deactivate lot of money was drained.

                  Conclusion:
                  Is this a new way of Increasing revenue???????????

                  i am a airtel rajasthan customer, my mobile no [protected] is been debited by airtel with Rs. 75 regarding a service which i never started and despite my several complaint i have not been able to get a decent response can anybody help

                  Airtel Prepaid — Wrong Information, loss of money

                  On 10 March I have called customer care to enquire about the details of the 23 Rs recharge- I was told it was for 35 paisa/min STD call rates, valid for 15 days.
                  I was NOT TOLD that this call rate is applicable only to the first 35 minutes per day.

                  Due to this, I have made calls, and I have been getting a deduction of 1.50 Rs/min. On 13th, 14th, 15th and 16th I have called customer care to enquire about the charges, and again and again I have asked what the benefit is supposed to be. I was again informed the same details, AND AGAIN I WAS NOT TOLD THIS WAS ONLY VALID FOR THE FIRST 35 MINUTES. One customer care executive told me that the deductions are wrong, and I will be refunded all my money. Believing this, I have continued to use my cell phone to make calls.

                  Today, after about the tenth time I have spoken to customer care regarding this issue, I was informed that this is only for the first 35 minutes.
                  In the mean time, I have suffered a loss of 375 Rs, due to the misinformation given by the customer care.

                  I have spoken to a Nodal officer, Deekshita, at the number[protected]. She spoke to me for nearly half an hour investigating my problem, then put me on hold, and then cut the call, after keeping me on hold for a further five minutes. No resolution was given to me.

                  I am extremely upset, and DEMAND THAT THE REFUNDS THAT WERE PROMISED TO ME SHOULD BE MADE.
                  How can you make the customer pay nearly 400 Rs merely due to the ignorance and misinformation of your customer care people?
                  If you do not refund the money, I will write to the newspapers and will take the issue to consumer court.

                  My no. is [protected].I have taken airtel internet connection on my mobile 10 days back.Still it has not been activated,Iam not able to speak to any of the customercare people.I have called several times initially somebody talks and tells that they will connect me to the team manager and the phone gets disconnected.This is ridiculous,my money is going waste.I had been to the Airtel relationship center at 6th block circle Rajajinagar, Bangalore.but there was no response from the people there,they showed no interest at all.They behaved as though it was none of their business.This is the worst response I have ever seen.
                  this complaint has been solved by airtel. and money has been refunded.

                    I recharged my airtel prepaid number [protected] of Bihar circle of amount Rs. 1000 from online recharge site PayTm.com and according to PayTm and airtel, the talktime that had to be given is Rs. 1000, but airtel didn't gave talktime Rs. 1000, instead they gave Rs. 877(approx)., which is clearly a cheat. Upon calling airtel they didn't resolved the issue.
                    So, request you to kindly look into the matter and please resolve.

                      I WANT TO CHANGE MY PLAN OF INTERNET CONNECTION IS 799 UNLIMITED PLAN AND I WANT TO CONNECT AND JOIN PLAN IS 699 10GB SPEED 512 KBPS
                      i also have the same problem...i was in 799 plan and the gave me some reason to change to 899...now i want to go back to my 799...but they say plan does not exist.airtel bb is not like before...

                        This is Basker. I recharged my airtel prepaid no.([protected]) through online, for Rs.34 which is a special recharge, which will give me 75 local mins, and National+local sms and valid till 4th sunday from the date of recharge( according to the website https://pay.airtel.com/PrepaidOnlineRecharge/mobileRecharge.jsp). But once i done it and tried to message and call, it said i cant make a call and the msg doesnt go as well, when i contacted the customer care they said i have to have atleast min Rs.1 in my account for msg and call, then i top upped for Rs.10, and send msg, for which airtel charged me Rs.1. neither i got the 7 local mins, when i tried calling back i never got line for more than week, so i want airtel to active the above said pack, and to carry on the validity from the day of activation and to refund the charges that are charged for sms even i when i had a pack in place.. this is very very wost service from airtel and the customer care executives are not even aware of the plan, its pathetic.
                        i have recharge massage coupon on my [protected] but the massage coupon is not working properly when i have sending massage balance is less my main account balance.
                        and customer care number is not responding on my number.
                        please check my account and get my money back.

                          I have utilised Airtel Broadband services[protected] and have disconnected it in the Month of April, 2012.

                          It was really a horrible experience and have disconnected their useless services, as their services are highly unprofessional.

                          Despite not utilising the broadband connection for almost two months , I have honoured their payments and have decided and disconnected their services in April, 2012.

                          To my shock, vide e-mail dated 06/11/2012, Airtel has claimed an amount of Rs.2231/- for some land line number [protected] for which I have replied duly on 07/11/2012 that the land line number and mobile number mentioned therein doesn't belong to me and have requested Airtel to claim the same with the appropriate person and requested it to remove all my personal details from its database.

                          Vide various e-mails dated 07/11/2012, 07/11/2012, 08/11/2012, 23/11/2012, 26/11/2012, 10/12/2012, 17/12/2012, 17/12/2012 and 19/11/2012 which are self - explanatory in detail and has requested Airtel to act upon.


                          At this juncture, on 19/12/2012, a letter was received from Airtel dated 05/12/2012 specifying the subject as "Outstanding Dues on your airtel land line" and the contents of the letter too claims that it has not received any response to its previous tele - calls/ Field Visit & letters which is incorrect, since the emails specified supra is a concrete evidence that I am in continuous touch with them.

                          Immediately, I have called Mr.Balaji (I was interacting with him through telecon for number of times) of Airtel in the given mobile number [protected] at 07.20 P.M.on 19/12/2012 from my Mobile no.[protected] and sought for the clarification in respect of the frivolous letter dated 05/12/2012 from Airtel's end.

                          Mr.Balaji has informed me that it is a computer generated letter and he has no control over it which is his repeated dialogue and that I am listening to it for the Fourth time.

                          Mr.Balaji has also confirmed me that he has escalated the subject matter to his higher officials and further awaiting further confirmation from their end to do the needful in respect of my concern.

                          Despite my continuous and consistent follow -up with Airtel, Airtel continue to forward frivolous and vexatious e-mails and a letter dated 05/12/2012 is also forwarded.

                          Airtel indulges in utmost cheap practice that a letter has been prepared Just a two (or) three days back but pre - dated the letter as 05/12/2012 whereas I have received it on 19/12/2012. I am a resident of Chennai and the letter dated 05/12/2012 is posted from Chennai, but I have received it after 14 days which reveals the fact that Airtel predates the letter and indulges in cheap and unfair practices.

                          In the meanwhile my problem remains unresolved and some miscreants with their mobile number [protected] and land line number[protected] , misutilized my residential details.

                          It is pertinent to note that the Mobile number and Landline number referred supra does not belong to me.

                          At this juncture, I have left with no option other than approaching the competent forum for the mental harassment caused, suffered and Airtel shall be held liable for consequences at its cost.

I submitted my voter id card as identity and address proof. But after submitting all the authentic documents I dont know why my outgoing stopped if trying to call the message is coming that due to incompletion of documents outgoing stopped.And both the executives on behalf of whom i converted my connection to postpaid didn't answer my call and didn't give any response to the customer care. as soon as possible and reply me.

                              Hi this is complain against airtel office of delhi who check documents and other verifying details for landline connection. We had 2 airtel connections which were suppose to transfer into another address all the documents submitted with an acknowledgement of its receiving. After some time Airtel customer center called and again asked for documents my sir had a discussion with airtel office that documents already submitted but they don't care about it and asked for documents again we submitted documents again but still airtel service did same and after few days again asked for documents we really got tired to follow airtel's bad service their customer care executive abused during a conversation with our sir this is really a very bad example of a private service yet i used to like airtel before but this incident made me disliking airtel.
                              Finally we had to disconnect all number of airtel

                                I have prepaid airtel mobile, i recharged it with rs 98/= for internet pack on 12/12/12 at 8 pm , after a while i started surfing the net but imdtly the complete balance of rs 85/= from my call account got consumed and internet switched over to internet pack and kept workingi lodged a complaint viz no CBDMO[protected] and i was assured that my amount will be recredited to my call account but nothing happened and i again called 198 viz ref no PR[protected] dtd 13/12/12,PR[protected], 14/12/12,PR[protected] dtd 18/12/.12, but no response came from airtel, when i again enquired with 198 surprisingly i was told that the charges taken for internet were correct as the system had not activated the internet pack and i should have waited prescisely for one hour for the same if this be so as described above the internet should have stopped automatically after the call account was empty but it was not so, it proves that a company which claims to be the best in india is using unfair trade practice to make profits. In similar incident earlier company admitted that it had made a mistake and refunded my amount. The company does not take fraction of second to charge and activate useless services which unknowingly you subscribe to and there is no system to confirm that any individual wants it or not, and the same company while activating the internet pack is giving all non valid reasons.The response of customer care executive was derogatory as he was more into telling me my lack of knowledge of grammar and english.

                                  I am A subscriber of Airtel Prepaid Mobile and my mobile Number is [protected]. today night I recd a msg from AT-AIRINF stating that "Thank you for choosing SUPER4_15 on your airtel mobile. you have been charged Rs.15 for 15 days and your account balance post charging is Rs.18.24 at 03:25." Actually I had not sent any request for any value added service. Kindly do the needful to stop the va service and to credit the amount deducted from my account towards the above service.
                                  Please stop these service and refund the amount to my mobile balance.

                                  Airtel Mobile — Automatic activation of service

                                  Airtel, activate the paid services on their own for a month and asks the subscriber to deactivate the same. If the subscriber does not perform any action, airtel charges the customer and the customer services representatives are very rude and do not help the subscriber.

                                    My name is Raktim Adhikari & my mobile no is [protected]. On 20.09.2010 morning I suddenly observed that my A/c balance was nil though I have balance of Rs. 2.32 after my last call on 19.09.2010.

                                      I have been using airtel digital tv connection for which I have made a 1 year advance payment in which sports channel were also included like ESPN, star cricket but as of now cricket matches have started on these channels they have barred the services for both of the sports channel listed above and started to demand extra money for subscription of these channels which is quite unfair, if I have already subscribed for those channels for a year included in my subscribed package then how can they barred the services in between. Airtel Customer care people are telling me that they have barred these channels for every customer subscribed before but it seems to me quite unfair if someone has paid for it in advance.
                                      Please do something as they have made their usual pattern to steal the hard earned money of customers.

                                        It is with great frustration that i am putting this on Facebook. I had purchased an airtel prepaid 3G Sim 15 days back from a retailer in Sulur, Coimbatore. The phone number is [protected]. All the documents and photograph were provided with the same. The number has still not got activated. i have contacted the airtel customer care through the alternate number given in the application form ie [protected]. The customer care even after contacting for 3 times have done nothing about it. The retailer says that the verification process is not completed as he is getting the message that the above stated alternate number which i have given in the application is not responding!!! This is absolutely ridiculous as i have not received any call from airtel since the time i have got the sim. the number of the nodal officer at Chennai is also not responding. I feel i have wasted my 300 Rs on AIrtel. There has to be some one who has not done or doing his job. Need to get this issue sorted out asap. The retailer Mr Suresh has expressed inability to get things done because someone from your customer service desk whose job is to verify the details is either claiming false about calling up for verification or not doing his job.
