RESPECTED SIR,

I HAVE JUST YESTERDAY REPLACED MY OLD AIRTEL DIGITEL SETUP BOX WITH A NEW AIRTEL DIGITEL HD RECORDER. BUT THE MAIN REASONS WHICH WERE THE RECORDING FUNCTION AND THE HD CHANNELS THAT ARE ONLY NOT WORKING. I AM NOW FED UP OF CALLING THE AIRTEL SERVICE STATION BUT NO RESPONSE COMES FROM THEM.AS I KNOW THE RECORDING FUNCTION IS STARTED AS SOON AS THE SET UP BOX IS INSTALLED BUT STILL I THOUGHT THAT IT WOULD BE STARTED IN 1 HOUR BUT NO NOTHING HAPPENED I STILL WAITED FOR SOME MORE TIME BUT NO NOTHING.TILL NOW NOTHING HAS HAPPENED.I THEN CALLED THE SERVICE CENTRE BUT THEY SAID THAT THEY WILL CHECK AND SAY BUT I RECIEVED NO CALL.TODAY TOO WHEN I CALLED AIRTEL FIRSTLY FORSOME FIVE TO SIX TIMES NO ONE PICKED UP THE CALL THEN WHEN AFTER SOME TIME SOME ONE PICKED UP THE CALL AND I TOLD MY PROBLEM THE PERSON OVER THERE TOLD ME THAT HE JUST CHECK IT NOW AND CALL ME SOON BUT TILL NOW I HAVEN'T RECIEVED A CALL FROM AIRTEL.WHATS WRONG?WHEN WILL THE RECORDING FUNCTION START AND THE HD CHANNELS TOO.PLEASE SAY ME SOON.

    Sir,
    I am airtel prepaid user and my airtel No is [protected]. Before purchasing SIM card I have already given my Voter ID card Card and two photographs and landline bill copy for residence proof. The same has been sent to Airtel Registration Office. I have also used the above No from June 10th to June 17th, 2012.After that telephone was disconnected and when contacted with customer care they have verified the document submitted by me over telephone on 25th June'2012 and they have informed that it will be operational after 12 hrs and the same became operational on 26th June'2012. But after 3 days it again stopped working showinf failure of sim registration. On 9th July'2012 I have contacted Airtel Bahubazar, Ranchi office and they informed that sim registration failed due to -ve verification. I have again submitted my PAN card xopy and copy ID card issued by Employer.I have faced a lot of problem due to non functioning of the above number. Please direct airtel to activate my number at the earliest.

      i had logged a complain on this web site, for blocking of my airtel prepaid sim card [protected], on 28 june 2012 without intimating me. When i contacted the customer care on 198, [protected] and airtel nodal office delhi-ncr, i was told that i ve not used the sim for last two months and hence it has been blocked. . Further i was getting the sim recharged for Rs 750 from past three months.

      on this complaint i got a reply from airtel on this site saying " Namaste Mr. Tiwari, This is to inform you that your concern listed on 29 June 2012 has been noted and our team is working on a resolution. At the outset, we apologize for the inconvenience faced by you. We will get in touch with you for further details of your concern as the need arises.       i m raj acharya raipur with mobile no.[protected] suffring from unwanted deductions from my account without my consent,twice i brought it to the notice of customer service executive mr. ram pratap singh but no positive response.once again today they deducted some amount from my account.pl.help.

        Unknowingly I made a transaction from my Credit Card to Airtel Hyderabad through mobile, Below are the transaction details:
        Card No. : XXXX XXXX XXXX 1007
        Transaction Date: 30-Jun-12 Amount:Rs.1000/-
        I have raised the complaint with the Bank and have been suggested to contact Airtel Office. When i contacted Airtel Helpdesk, I am not getting proper information on the above transaction and they are saying that they cannot track to which mobile the amount has been transfered. I have also checked my two mobile numbers registered in my online banking and in none of the account amount has been debited. Even the amount is not returned to my Credit Card Account.
        So I want to raise a complaint against Airtel for not providing the proper information and it has been almost one week no one from Airtel has contacted me.

          Respected Sir,
          I have been running Air tel Retailer counter at Village Ashmuji of District Kulgam for last 7 year's. I have a tree change problem with my lapu no. [protected].I requested many times to authorized persons viz, concerned TSM, ZSM to resolve the problem butt all in vain. Initially they promised to resolve but they did nothing. Now they are not even receiving my phone. Many times I thought I would not work with Air tel, due to the ill response of the concerned TSM and ZSM. It had have created lot of problem for me. Being so popular company , why the concerned authorised persons are irresponsible?.
          Now I request Bharti Airtel Manager to solve my problem as soon as possible. Other wise I will break the lapu and divert to another company.
          I once more remember to higher authorities that concerned ZSM is not receiving phone and is very irresponsible person. Such like persons will destroy the fame of such grate air tel company.

              Hi,

              I am having an postpaid airtel connection which was having a balance of Rs 2500 in my account. I requested for a change of my plan with Airtel in May'2012. The plan was converted but the amount was not transferred to the new account. I requested for the account transfer thrice, on 8th June, 15th June and 22nd June, where I was told that the amount will be transferred to the new account within 24 hours, but all in vain. Airtel is raising penalty charges against me instead to deducing the amount from the balance available.

              I am actually fed-up with this connection and planning to move to other operators. Kindly take appropriate actions against it.

                I dialled *222*5# for Rs 5 internet pack that gives 50 MB of data usage and used only 9mb from it. When I checked my balance after the usage, Rs 55 have been deducted and balance is Rs 0. This has happened several times and they deduct my whole balance. This is last time i try their service or use MNP. Airtel is FRAUD and SCAM.
                Airtel customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.

                  Airtel has made many absurd balance deductions from my mobile but this is new
                  Today it cuts. 50rs of my account & tells me that I purchased a game supscription now this amount was cut without my acknowledgement of any I agree or buy button then the link took me to a airtel hungama wap site where it shows there are no compatible games to my handset which is outrageous.
                  First of all I didnt want a damn game now that I pay for it there is no damn game
                  Please look into this I bet there are other unheard customers involved
                  I talked to the customercare but sadly there was no careing attitude as always

                  Airtel - prepaid — Absurd Deduction from Account

                  I have a complaint against Airtel
                  on 15th March I activated the GPRS on my AIRTEL No. [protected].
                  And after 16th I send the SMS for Deactivation. But I got the message "System failure Plaese Try again"
                  Due to the System failure my facility was not deactivated by the Airtel and Airtel Deductes Rs. 14.99 every day from my account
                  I talked with the Executives of Customer Care for Refund against the uneven deduction from my a/c.
                  On 26th March they lodged my first complaint. But still i face the same problem Rs. 14.99 is deduct from my A/c. everyday.
                  Then I lodged the second complaint for refund on 1st April 2008 (Complaint No.[protected], the Executive said that deducted money will be brefund to me.
                  And on 5th April Customer Care said that still the Complaint is in process.
                  Again on 5th April I send a Mail to Airtel, They replied they will follow the Complaint.
                  BUT the Action is ZERO.
                  on 16th April 2008 I lodged a complaint by SMS (121) and
                  the Complaint No. was[protected]
                  BUt the deduction of Rs. 14.99 is not stopped. Everyday they cut the same money from my Account.

                  AirTel — Illegal deduction

                  Every day 2/- is deducted from my Account. I have not opted with any plan, so there should be no deduction. I have raised several complaints with Customer Service Department from last 4 months. Most of the time they claim that they don't have sufficient data, So I was told to call after few hours. Even when I produce the Reference No of the complaint & ask them about the status, they don't have any answer. Every time they register the complaint and promise me that it will be catered in next 48 hours. I don't know when there 48 hours will come.
                  Department of Telecom had ordered all the telecom service provider that they should give full talk time for prepaid customer for Talk up Voucher. But these providers cheat the customers with illegal deduction. Who will compenssate for the Call drop which is very frustating and loss to customers.

                  I hold airtel prepaid connection...my no is[protected]...6/7 months ago an sms came to my phone saying"Thanks for using (fusion lounge, multicontent pack)subscription service on airtel wap.you've been charged Rs-15"from 64611015...although i didn't use this service...not only this...this sms came to me every fortnight and Rs-15 is deducted...I called up customer care...They responded and promised to fix it...but did nothing...
                  I am Airtel customer for about 5 months. The useless fellows deducting Rs 30 many times for many reasons which I don't know. The claim its for this & that service which I am not at all subscribed. The bloodies send a message, I[censored] open it that's d end you will be deducted for that service. what bloody confirmation they ask even god doesn't know.

                  Airtel Services — unnecessarily astrology service have been deducted from my mobile

                  Airtel astrology service charged Rs10/- (Rupees Ten only)from my mobile twice or thrice in a month . an unsubscribe number has been given to me i.e.[protected] but, it is unrecognised number. unnecessarily i have been charged such amunt.
                  Sir, I have prepaid connecton of Bharti airtel NO [protected] in the name of my wife. This phone is being rarely used by her. All of a sudden I get messages that Rs 30/- have been deducted for enjoying games club. This had been happened 4 times. That means Rs.120 /- had been deducted. I do not understand that bharti airtel has become so poor and adopted such method to collect money by way o[censored]nfair mean due to share value is coming down day by day.
                  Similarily, in other case AIRTEL HAS CHARGED LATE FEE OF Rs 75/- from my phone no.[protected]. I used to deposit my regular post paid bill through icici credit card promptly Due to some despute, my bill of april Rs 530/- could not be paid intime and delayed for 2 days or so Airtel did not do any mistake to indicate late fee in the next bill. I want to ask question wheather service provider is prompt in giving service. I totally condeme the working of BHARTI AIRTEL.

                  AirTel — Illegal deduction from mobile

                  This pigs are busy in cheating people. They have illegaly deducted Rs 25 from my mobile phone.Please let my money be refunded.
                  Just before 15 min a deduction of Rs. 3 was made from my balance towards the use of DESITADKA service . Whereas this service was not at all opened or used on my mobile even then airtel has deducted this money which shows a clear cut cheating and harassment of consumer by Airtel network. I request Airtel to kindly transfer my deducted amount at the earliest otherwise i will complain in consumer forum for my case.

                  Airtel India — illegal balance deducted from my account

                  Dear Sir
                  My mobile no is [protected]; I am a customer of your network
                  since 2007-08,
                  And I have spent minimum Rs 300 per month (with internet pack) since
                  inception, so I think, I am a valuable customer to you.
                  But at present (today) you are deducted Rs 107 from my account. Today
                  I have contracted to your customer care no 198 at 09:00 am, but he can
                  not satisfy me.
                  the cause of reduce balance.......... is, I have download one
                  songs (5 mb) from a free loading web site(www.songs.pk) to my mobile
                  server but when I have download via mobile server in my pc(computer)
                  same things(song), then I have not any(main account balance) charge,
                  for your convenience I told you that, I have recharge Rs
                  98(internet pack) on 05/07/2011, & presently I have 1622 gprs balance,
                  beside then, I had downloaded many songs from same website(since
                  previous 1 or 2 years),then I have no charge from my main account
                  balance, it was reduce from my gprs balance.
                  But why it is possible to reduce my balance? Please mail
                  me or call me with this answer & back my account balance (Rs 107) as
                  early as possible otherwise you have loss a valuable customer, I shall
                  take shelter to mobile no portability service & join
                  Vodafone,idea,bsnl, or other service provider.

                  Airtel Services — illegal deduction of balance

                  Hi!
                  i use an airtel no. [protected]. From last month, I am having problems with my airtel services. I get a message saying "you have been renewed for subscription service from airtel. you have been charged rs. 5." and then a get remaining balance message which say i have been deducted rs.5 from my balance. this happens every day and every rs. 5 gets deducted from my balance. how can that be when i DID NOT SUBSCRIBE ONLY. THIS IS VERY UNFAIR. then i tried another attempt like i went to the the unsubscription area to try that if there was a mistake. but then i get a msg saying that i have not subscribed to any such services. so when i didnt even subscribe, how could i be charged for that. i was a big fan of airtel till now. but now i feel air tel has become sooo pathetic. i feel sorry for these guys, they are so pathetic. and not even one fellow can give you a satisfied answer if you call them.

                  Airtel — Illegal deduction of money from my balance

                  My mobile no. is [protected]. I am having scheme of one paise/per second for call charges. But since last few days, the airtel has cheated me of more than Rs. 100/- by charging Rs. 1.50/- even for a call of 10 seconds. Many times, I am receiving messages that call charges for last call Rs. 1.50 even though I did not make any call; sometimes charging four/five rupees even for a call of one minute. Yesterday I came to know that the Airtel has activated some job alert service on my mobile phone which I never asked. I tried my best to deactivate that service but could not do so despite my best efforts.
                  Now I request you to stop all services and refund me the entire amount which has been wrongly deducted from my balance; take necessary action against the guilty officials who cheat the public by arbitrarily activating various kinds of services.

                    I had recharged my airtel prepaid sim with 98/- rs. internet package which has validity till Aug 01, 2012, however since internet balance as on 10 july 2 o'clock was 20MB. so i immediately recharged with 149/- rs package which was successful. despite my recharge with new internet package before balance of old backage bacame nil airtel has charged me 69 rs. wrong fully. i recharged my sim with new internet package before the validity or balance of old package was over.so i want airtel to remit above said amount to my account.

                      I have a airtel connection, my airtel Numberis[protected], I received a mobile ebill on 06th july. The bill amount is 1154. In which they added RS. 100 for two messages only. I called on customer care, they respond very badly. I want company to regenerate my bill again.

                      As you all know all the mobile service providers increase the sms charges or charge for sms eventhough your package has less charge or free sms package during thee holidays.

                      this has become a newsense the service providers start charging for sms on any holidays, sometimes without any prior information. Is there any rule like that or any perticular

                      guidelines are there. As for as customer rights are concerned if you are not able to send the sms when you need it what is the use of having free sms packages and anyway we

                      are paying for having those packages as a whole.

                      On important dates and holidays and festivals we want to wish for friends and families and by charging for sms's the service providers are deniying the customer rights. Is it not

                      the violation of rules or hurting the sentiments of the customers. Please do the needful in this regard as soon as possible.

                      Now i could not use my free sms. bcs the rules of trai per day free sms only 100. after sending sms chargeble... if this condition is applicatble 90days X 100sms only am using 9000sms only... remaining 9000sms how to use... per sms 1rs..so that way i pay 9000rs. for remaining sms...)

                      I want using my free sms without charge for upto my validity period up to APRIL 25TH 2011.. after 25th i choose my plan and tarrif and much more...to my chose...

                      I have logded a complaint in Airtel consumer service regarding excess charges of SMS against my postpaid airtel number [protected]. I have already complaint in airtel mobile. But till date no action is takan and I can any favourable response from Air tel.

                      I can't understand why airtel asking many times for proof of document.

                        Airtel is charging nearly Rs 100 extra for HD transmission. If you have purchased a setup box which can get both HD and non-HD transmission, Airtel has suddenly made a policy to charge for HD transmission also. It is something like this that if you have purchased an internet enabled phone, you are chrged for internet also apart from phone charges even if you do not want to avail this service.
                        This is totally unfair and malpractice to make money. Talking to Airtel officers hads been fruitless.

                        Airtel DTH — poor service of Airtel HD DTH at present

                        i have purchase airtel digitel t v about one year ago & have no complaint against its picture & sound quality .My I/D is [protected] . Recently watching the Advertisement of HD DTH i purchased a 32" Full HD LCD and Airtel HD Set top box with a hope to receive 5 times better picture & sound .
                        But after installation i was informed that only one HD channel is available in Airtel & for that i had to pay extra Rs 16.55 more . Beside this for all other SD channel my picture reduces to about 70-75% (approx). So As a result
                        after paying extra Rs 1250 for Airtel DTH, Rs. 16.55 pm for channel & paying more to purchase 32'' LCD, i am getting picture like 22" LCD.

                        the company should not launch the HD service with one HD channel. and it should be informed to the member of public/ customer at the time of advertisement.

                        Airtel DTH has chosen to present its customers with this confusing bill. I am able to find any relation between the figures and seek your help in this. As per my understanding 25+200-136=89. But how come Airtel's fuzzy accountants derived an amount of 23 is a as big mystery as big bang theory. Can Airtel and its owner Mr. Sunil Bharti Mittal take the responsibility of presenting clear and concise bills to its customers, in which they are not overcharging and extorting money by such unfair and hidden means.

I switched my mobile number from Bsnl to Airtel as i found airtel more beneficial but without my concern my airtel planned has been changed and i am finding it costly . I have complaint many times but no action has been taken and today in the morning automaticly Rs. 25 deducted from my account. plz take the action as soon as possible

                            An Airtel salesperson sold me a 3G data card last month saying that I'll get 7.2Mbps bandwidth up to 6GB and beyond that it will come down to 3.1Mbps. He said it was an unlimited plan. I asked him that I couldn't find the same plan anywhere on website, then he said that it is a special offer only for working employees. Even when I spoke to his team leader, he said the same thing. I bought it for 1200/- (device charges) and at a bill plan of 950/- per month.
                            I got the same 7.2Mbps speed up to 6GB, but beyond that it reduced to 156Kbps!! When I called the salesperson, I found his mobile switched off. When I contacted the customer support, they said that their agents can't do this. Customer care didn't help too.
                            I've been betrayed by Airtel. I will never go with Airtel in my whole life.

                            My mobile no. is [protected],yesterday on 28/01/2008 when i recvd the bill where i came to know that my bill amount comes very high ,Actually i take a sms pack on 31 dec.2007 or 1 jan2008 on customer care number and i confirm on the customer care after two day the reply was that sms pack is activated , for the result i start sending the sms as i required as i was in belief that my sms pack is activated the sms will cost me 10 paise but i was surprise that my bill comes to rs. 1657.87 In which SMS charges were for rs. 196/- @ rs. 1/- i was shock where my total bill comes to near by 300-380 per month, and now this bill tell me that i spend rs.196 on my total 196 @ rs. 1 instead of 10 paise .so i request you to please look in this matter and adjust the sms pack @10 paise at an earliest. This type of service i was not assuming from airtel, please send the reply at an earliest.

                            It’s my painful request to solve out my problem. Sir as I am using Airtel network since many years because of good service and coverage but during a month back when customer had a chance to choose their network of their wish, (Porting). As I had two Airtel connection I preferred to port one of my Airtel to Docomo network. As I done the porting, after a couple of days I got a call from your customer service executive saying that we will give you a better offer if you continue to stay with Airtel. During this conversation even I asked her weather there is any rental or service charges for this offer, where she clearly mentioned that it’s free of cost and nothing will be deducted. But Recently they have started to charge Rs. 1 per day as a service charge which they have not mentioned during the time of our conversation.
                            With a great hope I am dropping this letter to you thinking that there will be a positive action against this.

                            I AM A AIRTEL DTH COSTOMER ,MY ID-[protected]. I BELONGS TO ECONOMY PACK . IN THIS PACK CONTAINS STAR JALSA, STAR ANANDA, ZEE BANGLA, ESPN,STAR SPORTS, STAR CRIKET.                             I was a airtel user, and i had a postpaid connection but i requested for the mobile number portability (MNP) at 31 May 2013.
                            Then i received message from Vodafone with porting request number i.e AD137848.
                            But yesterday there was no network in my previous service provider' SIM i.e Airtel.
                            So I entered Vodafone's sim in my mobile and there was no network.
                            Today i talked to the customer care executive of vodafone & i come to know that they have ported my number from postpaid to prepaid with the different details. Don't know how is that possible. How Airtel has send wrong information to the vodafone.
                            Even i have my all details like mobile bill.

                              I got a call from number [protected] on 29th September 2010 at 15.32 hours India time. I didnt attend since it was an international unknown number and missed the call.I did a google search and found that code+9230 is Pakistan country code. I know nobody in Pakistan and I am not aware if any of my friends are also travelling there.
                              I was even more surprised to find that a lot of Airtel users have been receiving similar blanks calls.
                              Would like to know what is going on and why are so many people receiving such calls from Pakistan.

                              Dear Sir/ Madam,

                              I have been getting miss calls from the following numbers. Details of the same is given below:

                              +[protected] I got a miss call from this number yesterday at 11:31 a.m. but when I tried to call it says the number does not exist.

                              +[protected] I got a miss call from this number today at 09:05 a.m. I called back and a man picked up the phone. He said he is calling from airtel head office and that I have won 25 lacs. He gave me ref # 8991 and asked me to switch off the mobile to check the sim number and to call him back with the first four digits of SIM along with 8991. He also asked me if I had a bank account to which I said No. He then said that he would tell me the procedure to collect the 25 lcs once I called him back with the sim number and the ref #.

                              Then I called the 100 number and lodged a complaint for the same. Two policemen came to my office and took a hand written letter from me addressed to SHO with the description of the issu. I asked for acknowledgement, but they said that I would have to visit the police station to get the same. Hence they did not give me any ref # or acknwodlegement receipt.

                              The reason I am submitting this complaint is that the number code that the person was calling me from was from Pakistan.

                              If you could kindly investigate the matter and offer me a solution so that I do not get such calls in future.

I have not received any hard copy or soft of bill since then. In the month of May, they have executed a bill of Rs. 4680/- wide bill no:[protected] dated:06/05/12. This bill includes charges for 1GB extra data used after limit of 5GB, but I never excess this much of Internet. There is no authentication because I had never received any bill and also we cannot check 3G usage at any point of time. But other service providers are giving this facility. I had already lodged a complaint in against of this excess bill wide complaint no. 4381029 on 24the May 2012. Customer executive told me that he will send thee bill on my billing address. No bill have been reached till yet. Another executive call me and again I told him the same story he promise me that he will send soft copy of bill on my mail id. No bill have been received on my mail also. I am totally frustrated with this Airtel service. Total outstanding bill have been exceed Rs. 6,752 and it will increase by month, but I already stop using this service from May month onwards. Please look into this matter and resolve this.

                                    AirTel — Excess Bill of 3G

                                    Normal use of 2 g is 100 approx per month, when converted to 3 g bill is inflated to 1500 and despite stoppagge of service I again got bill of 3000 next month.

                                    This is competely fraud.

                                    When I checked the status of complaint no. 4381029 which was given to me it is closed without any resolution given to me. And today I received a legal notice on my email id. This is really pathetic. You can not even send a copy of bill on my email address, but you send a legal notice to me. I am requesting to you kindly resolve this ASAP.

                                      Sir, I was contact AIRTEL DTH Customer care on 12150 on 25th Jun 2012 for new connection of DTH. When I talk to customer care executive he said currently a offer has launched that "AGAR AAP APNE KISI FRIEND KO YA APNE REFERENCE SE AIRTEL DTH KA CONNECTIO DILATE HAI TO AAPKE AIRTEL DTH ACCOUNT MEIN EK CONNECTION KE LIYE RS. 200/- AUR AGAR DO CONNECTION DILATE HAI TO RS. 500/- CREDIT HOGA". I opted for this offer. As per this offer existing customer send a SMS MGM to 543325 from Registered Mobile No. My DTH ID is [protected] and my Registered Mobile No is [protected]. As per advice I had sent a SMS. After sending SMS a call back between 4:30 PM to 05:15 PM from AIRTEL Customer care for new DTH Connection. The customer care personnel name is Miss SABNAM and Mr. Shushant said the offer as stated above for crediting of Rs. 200/- under referal scheme if I opted to new DTH connection for my friend they will (AIRTEL DTH) credit Rs. 200/- after activation i.e. with in 24 hrs. The DTH of my friend installed on 28thJun at around 08:30PM and the same will be activated on 29 Jun 2012 around 11:00 AM. After activation I had contact AIRTEL Customer Care for the said scheme that amount of Rs. 200/- may please be credit in my account as the NEW DTH Connection under referral scheme has installed and activated. They were said that the amount Rs. 200/- under rererral scheme will be credit within 24 hrs. After that I had regularly contact AIRTEL Customer care and their Senior Executive as usual he said I had sent your problem to concerned department and the outstanding amount under refferal schemen will credit in next 24/48 hours. The issue is still pending and Rs. 200/- under refferal scheme neither credited inmy DTH account nor he resolve my problem till date.
