Hello sir,

I am trying to connect to India toll free number[protected] which is used for TEAM meeting in my office but i am getting message that this number does not exist. But It was working fine a month ago. I called AIRTEL customer care regarding this, but there is no solution provided and they cut the call without any intimation.

PS: This Toll Free number works fine from other NETWORK.

Please respond.

    I have opted for a 1399 Unlimited - 30 GB Download plan for my office in laxmi nagar. In May-2012 we have used the broadband upto 80%, i.e upto 24-25 GB and we start getting calls, from Airtel. upgrade your account, upgrade your account..after every single day.

    I told them, I do not need to upgrade it. Then they start showing in my web browser, a well planned page, just to click and get upgraded. it will be shown to your browser every time you try to open any website. What kind o[censored]nlimited plan I have taken. I don't know.

    If you by clicked by mistake also, this can't be taken back. Their customer care told, it's not possible.

    I have tried to send messages to their nodal officers and other higher authorities from may 2 different IDs, all bounced. This is the face of a top class company of INDIA.

    By your medium I want to ask this fraud company.

    1. If I have already said "No" one time on the browser message, why this was coming again and again.

    2. If they are showing it again and again it means this is a planned trick to fool the customers by making money from unlimited plan.

    3. This plan was automatically activatec charging me 799 + taxes. Why I will pay this if I have not activated this.

        SIM CARD — disconnect outgoing services

        My outgoing service is disconnected, i produce my doccument already day before yesterday till now they are not rectified.

          Dear Sir/Madam,
          I hereby wish to humbly submit a formal complaint regarding incorrect Bill Amount due to wrongly charged bill on mobile internet service usage which was not used.

          Whereas, my Billing Summary of Bill period 23/04/12 - 22/05/12 , Bill no.[protected], shows an amount of Rs. 7042/- (Seven thousand forty two only) accounting to Usage of Airtel Mobile Internet Service.

          Whereas, i can assure you that the mobile GPRS was never used by me or anyone else and i also believe that i never received the Mobile GPRS phone setting through SMS or even Installed it. Hence, there is no way i can use the GPRS facility.
          Therefore, i am surmising that it is a cause of system error/bug or may be a minor technical glitch from your side. Kindly, review the whole Billing process and do a re-evaluation on my service usage.
          The relevant details are rendered as below:-

          There is too much carelessness in Air-Tel customer center and the engineering department gives equally poor service.

          1. They took long time to fix a problem about wireline/broadband service. More than 15 days the service was not available.

          2. After repeated calls, the technical person came and it took him less than 15 minutes (As per the person who was present at the premised at that time. I was at Office at that time not at home)

          3. They sent bill without considering the non-availability of service. I refused to pay the wrong amount they charged.

          4. Next month (After the problem was fixed) they again sent me wrong bill. I made complaints and offered to help them understand concept of Pro-Rata rental charges. I firmly stated I am not going to pay wrong bill.

          5. They barred outgoing calls. I made big noise, went in person to their office to explain them the bill was wrong.
          The error in amount was not big but not small to let go.
          The error was simple any secondary school going student would spot it. What was most annoying is they were adamant in saying it was not an error.

          6. After much shout and repeated visits to their BannerGhatta Road Office, I could get to speak to a manager/supervisor in their billing department. After explaining to him, the person had to swallow all wrong computations they had calculated and sent me in the printed bill. The Air-Tel management remained and remains to date careless and unresponsive.
          recently i am being unable to connect the customer care executives by any means please send me the needful

            i khave been getting blank calls from a number [protected] to my airtel number. i called airtel customer care to block this number, but they are unable to do so as this isnt a airtel number and from a different state. i'm from bangalore. i have been geting these calls and messages from 5 days. pls help..

              I have been using Airtel pre-paid SIM CARD for almost a year now. Initially the service was good but now its worst as they keep deducting money from my account balance for some or the other service that they activate it on their own (like hello tunes,music mania and many other crap). Whenever i try calling customer service no. It will never get connected. I tried so many times to speak to customer service and ask them the reason why they deduct money but can never get hold of one. Im really frustrated with this. Please help me on this

                Hi,
                I did mobile number portability (MNP) last month from AIRTEL and accordingly the number is ported to VODAFONE. I got SMS for bill due from AIRTEL and I paid the amount immediately within 4 days after getting the message. Bil number is 62347 and paid in cash to one of airtel office.

                But after paying the bill I am still getting the phone calls from AIRTEL Recovery to pay the amount, MY MOBILE NUMBER IS IN DO NOT DISTURB LIST and still I am getting phone from them even I paid the amount. I used AIRTEL for more than 5 years and I paid the bills before due and this time also I paid amount in time. One of my friend is also getting the phone and they are telling him to make a POLICE COMPLAINT if bill not paid.

                This is really disgusting and not tolerable. So I want to log complaint against AIRTEL RECOVERY.

                This time I got a call from [protected] using some abuse words.

                  Respected sir/Madam,
                  I want to change my subscriber from idea to airtel, I filled my form on[protected] & deposited all documents and rupees 20 in cash as they requested meat your branch in Galleria, Gurgaon.. They handed me a sim (number[protected] h-2), & assured me that your airtel network will be start in next 7 days. My unique porting code was ID- 545611, & last date of expiry was[protected]. I visited airtel branch in galleria thrice till my uop expired. Every time assurance was given that we are processing but due to technical reason we r unable to do so. I meet their different staff except manager, because they didnt allow me. On[protected] they given me my document & airtel form that we are unable to process, u reapply & we will see this matter again. There is no matter of money that I have spent but rules that made by TRAI, which is not followed at all.
                  All the executives are good in speaking but poor in solving the problems except recharge/money collections which they are doing well. My only request is that please visits your branch at galleria, & see their working pattern, so that other people are not cheated.

                    I have facing a harassment against air-tel service provider due to some billing issue. iam using air tel orissa mob.[protected]. previously but now the number was suspended due to payment problem;
                    in January iam used 199 mobile plan with gprs in mobile with limited to 2 GB gprs plans ,after 17/01/12 my plan changed to 99 but at the same time my gprs plan decreed by airtel, but they are not informed to me, iam used my gprs full month with un knowing of the plan changes .after the month ending i received a bill Rs.12859/- then i am knowing my plan changed and i informed to airtel to solve the problem but till date they are not solved my problem.and they are continually raising the bills with interest ican pay only 3500 to 4500 to my mobile payments kindly solve the issue.

                    and to day i received a call from un knowing no. [protected] the number holder calling my personal contact numbers, and relatives, and ladies and miss behaving with his wards

                    i also confirmed to air tel customer care about this number but this number not from airtel it was a uninor connection

                      I, Dinesh.G.S from Kerala, TVM has activated GPRS in 24th May on following Airtel number +91 [protected]. On 25th my balance reached to zero, then I had realised that money for GPRS is deducting from main balance not from offer balance. Regarding the same I contacted customer care no 198 but I got strange response from different people. May I ask you one question, as a customer what about my lost amount?
                      Kindly verify the usage log file for 24th and 25th May.

                      A reliable replay from you in the earliest will be appreciated.

                      I got a call from one lady 31st May regarding my complaint she was telling that there is no lose in money. Am I lying regarding small about of money that I lost? I would like to have an explanation regarding whenever I use access points like 'Airtel Live' and 'Mobile Office' my balance has been deducted and one of your customer care supervisor told me the same; I had lost money on 24 to 25 May.

                      This is pity for you people to replay to customers like this.
                      I was totally afraid to continue as an Airtel customer, to be very honest with you my brother was using Airtel post paid SIM from past seven years this year only he has changed his operator from Airtel to another. Now I'm also feeling the same. Customer satisfaction was no ware else in Airtel.

                        My no is [protected](airtel), i have activalted 98 Rs gprs 2Gb scheme, my credit limit as directed by airtel is rs 800/- only, everytime it reaches rs 800/- they cut down my outgoing services and my gprs,most of the time i am paying money before i receive my bill for any month. Suddenly they have sent me a bill amounting Rs approximately rs 4400/ for month of april-may claiming my gprs usuage to be rs approx 24378 with discounts of rs 21326. so still they want me to pay rs 3400/- for gprs services. and additional voice calls, totaling rs 4484/-, right before i received bill, i got a call from a person from airtel that my bill amount is rs 950, it has to be paid immediately to resume my services. i finally paid rs 1000/- before receiving the bill, now 4 days back i got the bill in my email, and later call from airtel to pay 3400 immediately, after i complained, they told me they will waive of the charge, but just now on 30th may 2012 a person from airtel called me and behaved in a very rudely manner and said they will not waive of the bill. kindly look into the matter, i feel i am cheated, or else i will switch to some other mobile service provider.

                        AirTel — Overcharged Bill

                        Hi Team,

                        My Internet connection was down for the month of October and November, I raised the complaint but it was not solved on the time. I raised complaint 3 times for refund, below are the complaint number, however each time complaint got closed without informing me and solving my issue.

                          Dear Team,

                          I am currently using airtel postpaid corporate number [protected]. I was having free data usage of 2 GB per month. Mt free data usage was going to expire on 25 may 2012 midnight and my billing cycle also ends on 25 may 2012. BY which I should have privilege of free data usage till 25 may 2012 mid night . On 28 may 2012 I have received my airtel bill on mail for the time period of 26 April to 25 may 2012 which consist of data usage till 25 may which is not in discount. My total data usage till 25 may 2012 is of 0.49GB which is very much less than 2 GB . On 23 may 2012 noon 14:49 I have received a MS from 121 of aitel that my 2GB free data usage is going to expire after 3 days that means it is going to expire on 26 may 2012 or I can say 25 may 2012 mid night , but in my bill airtel have calculated amount for the day of 25 may 2012 also.

                          For the above issue I have reported to airtel call center and airtel 198 have noted my compliant on 28 may 2012 , the SR number is 43877747.
                          But today when I called again to airtel call center, they told me that your bill can not be redeemed because your free data usage was expired on 24 may 2012 and we cannot do anything. I spoke to wing leader of call center also but the same reply I received again.

                          Now I want to know how I have received a sms from 121 that my free data usage is going to expire after 3 days that will on 25 may 2012 Midnight. I want you to take action and provide the rectified bill .

                                I am using Airtel Broadband connection in Banagalore for the past 6 years. I had no problem and everything was fine. Last month, I relocated to a different place in Bangalore and wanted my connection to be shifted to the new location. I registered a request for the same on 07/04/12. request no. 14020952. I received a call from Airtel the very next day and was informed that the same number can not be retained in the new location so a new number is generated. The new number was shared to me. I was happy that my connection is getting transfered faster then the promised time frame of 1 week. Then later no calls or no visit by airtel persons till 18/04/2012. I started following up with custmer care on the transfer request. some how my previous request was closed with out any resolution. I registered one more complaint and followed up continuously. 14529902, 20313951, 14476278,14695876, 14916992,[protected], 15223194. For all my complaints, I got couple of calls with promises to resolve the problem very soon. But there was no solution. Once again I called up 2 weeks back and checked. Customer case executive informed me that all the previous compaints registered by me were resolved and closed. I got frustated and stopped following up. I started looking for other alternatives for broadband connection. But too my surprise, this month bill is also generated for Rs. 295.85 rupees and dispatched to me. I called up the customer care and informed them that I never had any connection, but the bill is generated. Today, I received a call from collection guys asking the reason for not paying the bill. They want me to settle the bill amount immediately.

                                Now I don't know what to do?? Do i keep paying the bills to Airtel regularly even if don't have any connection??

                                I don't wany any airtel connection. I am happy to have services from other vendor. I want my connection to be closed and never want to have any airtel services in future.

                                Can anyone from Airtel, resolve the problem and close my account?? Or do I need to go through some legal course to get the problem resolved??

                                Airtel Broadband Connection — Connection not transfered

                                Hi,
                                I was using airtel broadband services for 2 years. Recently I relocated in the same city. I requested for change of connection. but it couldn't be transfered in three weeks, though they promised to transfer in 2 days. They only made false promises every time.
                                This is the worst service I ever faced.

                                AirTel — Broadband Connection Not Transferred

                                I have applied for a transfer of my AirTel broadband (Phone Number [protected]) on Jan 8, 2011 to my new address at #29, 2md Floor, 15th Main, 9th Cross, BTM 1st Stage, Bangalore 29. After so many follow-ups I got to know that initially the address was noted wrongly. Then they rectified the issue and the technician never came to my house. The reason I asked a person to come to my house to check the availability is that there is already AirTel connection in my room and that works. I just want you to transfer it to my name.

                                People are not understanding this simple thing and telling me that “no port is available”. Port is already there and it ends at my room.

                                Eventually when I requested for a new connection – a person came to my house and told that the port is available I will get the new connection. When I asked about the OLD connection transfer – he said it will not be done.

                                I wonder why AirTel is not interested keeping their existing Corporate Customer.

                                  My Name is Ashish and I am having AIRTEL brodband connection for quite some time. My landline number is [protected].
                                  In the last month bill , they have added something called as Smart bytes activation of 799rs.

                                  I am using internet at my home and I do not remember activating it also.

                                  They are saying I have activated it on 25th april. My billing cycle starts from 11th april to 10th may. My download limit is 75 GB with 2mbps connection. I argued with customer care on the following things:

                                  a. I know how to use internet and I have never done activation of SmartBtyes for my account
                                  b. Why would i activate smart byte if i have 75 GB of download limit , that too in the span of 14 days (11th april to 25th april), if you are saying so, pls provide me the detailed bill usage for the last month so that i can come to know when i exhausted 75 GB of download limit
                                  c. If AIRTEL is saying that i have activated it, you need to provide me SUBSTANTIAL PROOF for the same. what is the guarantee that in the next month, you say the same thing stating that I have again activated it and charge me again.
                                  d. I did not get any email or sms for the smart byte activation, so i did not know that they are charging me for this. for every small things, we get sms/email alert, why not for this one.


                                  I have said it very clear that I will not be able to make the payment unless they provide substantial proof.

                                  Pls look into this if you can.
                                  I have been loyal customer and enjoying airtel services for long time.

                                  There seems to be some bug in the system . I have having the same issue and they said it was activated on 25th April .

                                  The AIRTEL services have been horrible since quite some months . The customer service representative does not understand the user's concern .

                                  Most my collegues have cancelled their connections .

                                  I have escalated the issue to Nodal officer or else I have to take some Legal Action

                                    My Airtel Fixedline bill for the month of October-November in 2010 was of Rs 670 and the last date of payment was 7 December,2010 and i paid it on 4 December,2010(Receipt No. 15602) at the authorised Airtel store namely Mobile World,Shop No. UGF-3,Akanksha Market,C-Block Ramaprastha,Ghaziabad U.P.-201011(Phone no.[protected],Mobile No.-[protected]) in Ramaprastha,Ghaziabad.But in the next bill i was charged with a late fee of Rs 75 which made it to Rs 812.When i mentioned it to the Airtel Complaint Helpline 198,they told me to make a payment of Rs 737 only and not Rs 812 as i wont have to pay the late fee charge.So i made a payment of Rs 737 on 6 January,2011(Receipt No.17179) at the same authorised store in Ramaprastha.But to my shock they sent me the next bill of Rs 850 which again included a late fee of Rs 75 and a due payment of Rs 75 of the previous month.I tried to contact the Airtel sore many a times but to my dismay it is closed from the past 1 week.I want to request the authorities to look into the matter or else i will have to file a petition against them in Consumer Court.

                                    AirTel — Unnecessary charge for Customer Care

                                    This is Sabarish. I have been using Airtel mobile network since 1.5 years. Now, whenever i need to get assistance from Airtel, i am calling 121 and i am charged at the rate of 50 paise / minute from my account balance. I am not sure why there is a tariff to avail a service assistance from the network service provider which is definitely supposed to be free of cost. I got to know that we can call 198 alternatively which is now free for users. However, the representative of 198 is forcing me to call 121 again as they cant provide any technical assistance. What a weird support by India's famous mobile network? I am looking for a valid response from Airtel on this issue.

                                    I, Mohammed Ahmed Hussain, bearing Mobile # [protected], have recharged with Rs. 55 on[protected] at 20:39 Hours (8:30 PM) and I'm suppose to receive Rs. 45 but I haven't, after that I called twice to the same number where I spoke to my friend for 28 Secs and 17 Mins & 32 Secs and the charges are supposed to be Rs.9 and 50 Paise and the remaining Balance should be Rs. 34.57 but I was left with only Rs.24.57. Even after calling the customer care,no action was taken, infact CCE has disconnected my call thrice while transferring my call to their supervisor, and they are too poor in English to communicate with the customer.
                                    I want that my amount should be reversed asap and a serious action should be taken against the CCE's.
