I am pasting all the mails,i have sent to to airtel DTH and reply by airtel
Reminder-6 It was told yeasterday by airtel area manager that migration of dish is not possible due to local cable operator problem.however there is no such problem in my area.
Here I am requesting you to give me same reply in writing so that further action can be taken to resolve the problem.

Subsequent to reminder-5, a call from airtel DTH landline no [protected] on 20th feb 2012 was recieved today and Mr Sameer has assured me to resolve the problem at the earliest.Afterwards a call was recieved from mob no [protected] and after asking queries Mr Nitin said us that you are complaining again and again,he further said that neither your problem will be resolved nor any engineer visit to you.
It is really surprising that you are deputing a person to solve my problem who do not know even how to talk a customer.You are advised not to depute such a person to resolve my problem in future.
It is again requested to return my remaining annual subscription amount and disconnect the primary airtel DTH connection also.

Forwarding again,since you are not able to provide me service,please return my paid annual
subscription amount,so that alternative arrangment can be made.
Forwarding again my 10th feb 2012 mail,no action from your side.
My earlier repeated request,to change the orientation of dish to receive new satellite has not
been done so for neither any person has come for CPE recovery.I am very sure that after
completing my annual subscription,I will stop taking services from you.Please note that I am
in process to get this issue resolved through consumer forum also. Pasting my earlier
complaint below.

1.On 6t September 2011 I have received SMS that your representative will come to realign the
Dish
but till date after so many reminder no body has come from your side.Due to above problem,i am
unable to receive some of channels and poor reception also.
2.On 6th December I have requested to disconnect my 2nd DTH connection with service request no
14269696 but no action has been taken for disconnection.Further you kept on deducting charges
for
2end connection till date.After complaining again I have received another service request
no14283114 for CPE recovery related happy code 979 but was futile.
Please note after so many reminder and repeated request,my problem is still unresolved.I have
never encountered such a poor service response from any service provider. Please do the need
full
to resolve the problem at the earliest failing which I have no option left but to seek the
help
of consumer forum.Please also note that I will not make any further communication in this
regard.

    Hello Airtel Team,

    Here I come again after 8 months with the same issue.

    My IPTV (land line number[protected] has stopped working again. To bring to your notice, I raised a ticket[protected] on 18th Feb 2012 and finally a engineer (Rakesh) visited my place yesterday on 22nd Feb. I was told that a new connection has been allotted to someone else and line port where my connection was patched has been given to him now, due to which my connection has stopped working. I wonder how a company can do this, is that how you treat your old customers (I have this IPTV connection for almost 1.5 years now)?

    Anyhow, I was assured that my connection will be fixed from the back end. No one bothered to provide an update and finally I decided to call Rakesh who visited my place & I was told that connection cannot be fixed and you get the IPTV connection closed permanently. I was shocked to hear the response from his side.

    I then decided to call customer care to report this issue (spoken to Priyanka) and no wonder I got to hear a different story. My Ticket 11854036 was closed with a status that there is a problem with the electrical line. What kind of crap is this? Rakesh, who did not even bother to visit inside my house made conclusion on his own that there is a electrical fault? What the hell electrical fault has to do with the Airtel IPTV connection when my TV, Modem, Setup BOX are functional and well attached to the electric board. Since that ticket was closed, I am not allotted a new ticket number 12070196.

    Airtel Team, pleaseeeeeee... I have seen this in past and DO NOT wish to go through this all again. I had faced a similar issue about 8 months back, my IPTV was not working for more than a month and I was charged for the entire duration my connection was down (now thats a smart way to earn money, provide connection which does not work and than continue charging to the customer).

    I want some responsible person to look into my issue and get it fixed at the earliest.

        Hi,

        I want to raise a complaint against Airtel. I had a no [protected] on which I have activated international roaming when I was abroad. Since last three months, I was not using the no, so as per TRAI rules, my no got disconnected by Airtel for non-usage. Airtel did not send me any mail regarding this prior to disconnecting the no. Since my no is a corporate no, they had my both personal and official email ID, even though they did not mail me. If they would have mailed me that my no will disconnect, I would have make a call or two as international roaming was activated. This no was quite important to me as I was using this no since last 4 and half or 5 years back. And all my bank accounts, credit card accounts, insurance details etc have this no only. And on that heights of Airtel, they deactivated this no and changed into prepaid and gave it to somebody else. Now they say that they can't give me this no.

        Now can anybody please tell me that ditching such an old customer is ethical for such a big mobile service provider like Airtel. All my family members were having Airtel connection only, and after this problem, which is a breach of trust b/w customer and service provider, I am really frustrated. I cant login to my bank and do transactions.

        I dont know, how much this complaint will impact, but I request the people viewing this thread to let me know Mr. Sunil Bharti Mittal or any higher Airtel authority mail Id, so that I can mail them directly and raise my complain.

        Airtel Postpaid — number disconnected without information

        My connection no [protected] is disconnected without any information & when asked they said (employee name Rahul sharma, employe code 0045)said this has been disconneted because of orders TRAI for which we have informed you where as there is no such information or communication with us so I asked him to provide me the details of their communication he refused saying that we have proveded these details once & we will not provide these details again where as this was our first call to Aitel regarding this when I requested him again he was very rude & said they wont help or provide details at any cost no matter what, he was very very rude
        where as we have not communication from Airtel till date

        Airtel — without information my mobile disconnected

        Dear sirs,

        My selfpaid Postpaid Mobile No :-[protected]

        My mobile was disconnected from 17th june 2009 onwards without any information,

        i approached customer care - i got message my mobile has changed from postpaid to prepaid based on my request, (Iam not at all given any request in this regards), even i request to show me the request - no resopnse from the airtel customer care & nodal officer also.

        Kindly look into this matter & reslove the same imm.

        Airtel Postpaid — Disconnected without information

        Hello Sir,
        I have been using Airtel for last 6 years. I had addon connection as well. I wanted to disonnect my addon number on March 09 but Aitel service given me an offer saying there will be 15% discount on my bill on my actual number and 75/- rental will be charged on my addon number if I keep my addon number alive for 6 months. This proposal given to me in the month of March. But none of the proposals are activated for that month onwards. Even the April month bill I have pid without any discount so that I will get a rebate of in the next bill. I have been raising requests and calling for each and every day but it has not been resolved for 3 months. I even stooped aping the bill untill the issue resooved that I informed to the customer care as well. So that to avoid late fees what agreed by the customer care people. Thay also agreed for their delay not from my side. Even I informed that if they are not going to resolve then I will disconnect the number. Even with all these process the issue never got resolved. At last today (3rd Aug) they disconnected my number without information. There is no valid reason to disconnect the number instead of resolving the issue. I even informed them that to remove the discount offer from the month of August 09 onwards and calculate all the amount for last 4 months and I am going to all the amouont. But they havn't resolve the issue and disconnected my number. inbetween all of these 2 weeks back they barred my outgoing calls for 6 days. After a long waiting and long discussions with support guys the number again activated for a week but not it is disconnected without any information.

        Hope this description quite enough to understand and helps to proceed for the next level to resolve.

        Thanks for giving me an oppertunity to rectify the Airtel system so that other common people will not face problems like me.
        Numbers deactivated without any information. When asked to the Airtel gallery in Borivali they are saying that they are not aware of this issue and also they are not responding to the customers & also speaking to the customers very rudely.

        Whomsoever is the concerned person kindly look into this matter and close this ASAP as due to this it is causing a lot of inconvenience to us.

        Airtel — Mobile connection disconnected without any information

        sir,

        Iam sheena, working as Senior Journalist in, kochi. now iam residing in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala. my permenent address is kalasadanam, kottiyam po, kollam, kerala. now iam writing this letter to you to inform my complaint. sir, i have an airtel prepaid connection , no:[protected], taken in the name of my mother mayarajan, kalasadanam, kottiyam (p.o), kollam(dist), kerala, was taken before 5 months. I have submitted the documents when i take the connection. two days before on April 21st, my mobile connection has disconnected without any information. Then i approached customer relation centre at vellayambalam, thiruvananthapuram and discussed the issue. they told me that it was free sim, ie the connection has disconnected. sir, i dont know how it become a free sim?. i have already submitted the documents when i take the connection. now iam really very upset .i cant to make any call. This number is used for my official needs. In customer relation centre nobody is even trying to me helping me out or responding positively….Hope for an early response and please activate my mobile number-[protected]. please do the needful

              I have got a Airtel 3G dongle. its not consistently providing 3G speed, every time I have to call customer care to get it working. And this time it was really poor customer care. For the past one month the speed is pathetic, the purpose of buying the dongle is in vain. When I logged a complaint its closed without contacting me and I need to call them again and again. Finally I talked with one of the manager ( Mr. Hari) who promised that in 2 hours my problem will be solved and also gave his official no to contact ([protected]). After 2 hour I tried connecting , the same problem exists , tried calling him no response. Further I called cust care and spoke to another manager ( Banu) she said she'll contact Hari and solve my problem. No calls till now. And the problem still exists. Waste of money, I'm going to throw this to trash.

              The complaint was logged on 31st Jan . Complaint no : 41866264 Dongle no : [protected]

              Note Airtel I'm not going to pay single rupee for the dongle henceforth.

              Please don't cheat consumers and also don't treat us with poor customer care.

                My name is Shameer TS.I number ported my vodafone number [protected] to Airtel,But now vodafone number already disconnected from vodafone before two days.Unfortunately my number not activated in airtel.I follow up that issue from yesterday.But no one give any solution for this issue.This vodafone number printed on our company browser's.Today I get a call from below mentioned number [protected].He said that number will activated within today evening.Another airtel staff subhash,mob no [protected] give same reply to me.But still that complaint not solved.Now 1st mentioned mobile number switched off and other number subhash not attending my call also.Some time subhash number call waiting and now not taking the phone.Please any one help to resolve this issue.I don't heard this type of cheap service from airtel.Airtel service very poor.

                AirTel — Number porting issue

                Kindly help.My vodafone number [protected] number port to Airtel.But unfortunately my vodafone number disconnected and airtel number not activated.Iam reported this issue to Customer care and sales department and nodal office also.Still my number not activated in airtel.I dont hear,this type of bad and cheap service from airtel.Airtel that means a cheating company.My number disconnected date 18/02/2012.I dont get any supporting call or service from airtel.Above mentioned number is official number and that number printed on our company browser's.My alternative contact numbers [protected],[protected]....my mail address [protected]@gmail.com.

                    Dear Sir,

                    I had an Airtel Dth connection (Customer ID [protected]). I had terminated this connection last week of December . An Airtel Engineer came to my house (on 28th Dec 2011) and did the CPE recovery . Post this i received an SMS stating that the the call has been closed (Reference no[protected].


                    I had an amount of 4958/- in my account which the customer care told me would be sent to me as DD within 2 weeks starting 28th Dec. Till date i have not received the refund and each time i call the customer care they give me some lame excuse (either we will call after 2 hrs or we will get back to you shortly etc ...not to mention the amount of time they kept me waiting to ).

                    Please find attached the mail communication i had with Airtel .
                    I sincerely request your help in getting my refund back .

                        I m old user of Airtel Prepaid connection([protected]). In last month i float a sms to company to PORT my number in other company for better plans.

                        But I recive a cal from Airtel Helpline to not leave airtel. Helpline Person Offer me u get a benefit of A to A 10 Paise cal for 2 months with a rent of per day one rupee. I accept that offer & going with Airtel.

                        But today Company withdrwan my benefits without any knowlege When i cal helpline Than no Response & no statisfy answer to me, He says I ve no option.



                        Plz resolve my matter.

                        i used portable service reliance to airtel . i used all facility givin from airtel company.
                        but today i call custmoer care . he says me you r not a customer of airel company. and also deducted from my balance from my account. and reliance company also says u r not customer of reliance.

                          Name- Rajeshsingh Rajput- [protected]
                          I had taken the Airtel broadband in Nov 2009-Bangalore by paying Rs 4000 as deposit amount and the same was debited from my brother's ICICI account on 06th Nov 2009 with transaction ref number as SB9385407.
                          Later I requested to close the air Airtel broadband connection in June 2011 as i had to move to Pune and the airtel customer service person came and collected the modem. That time the person said the amount of Rs 4000 will be given back to you by cheque.
                          I requested to change the communication address and mobile number in their account in July 2011 start by providing Pune's address proof.
                          Later I requested for the refund of Rs 4000 as the account was already closed and I had moved to Pune.
                          • It has been more than 9 months now that I am contacting Airtel cust care continuously. They are just creating service request numbers (Which they take min 15 days to reply AFTER LOTS OF FOLLOWUP) and regretting inconvenience!
                          • Initially they were not able to find the payment of Rs 4000 made in Nov 2009 in spite of providing with bank reference and transaction reference/cheque numbers etc. All those screenshots were provided to them.
                          • On top of that in spite of repetitive request to close the account in June, they kept on sending bills (I had already returned modem in June end and shifted to Pune). Ridiculous to see such a customer service that sends bills after account closure. And after 6 months follow-up with them, they generated some bill with outstanding amount on me!
                          • Later in Dec 2011 they realized that the Bill was generated wrongly and there was Refund amount of Rs 4000 to be given to me.
                          Now the real agony started
                          • The Appellate.southabts officers communicated that they have sent the Cheque of Rs 4000 in Dec 2011 and will reach me in 2-3 weeks by Overnite Courier. I have not heard of any courier company which delivers documents in 3 weeks.
                          • INSPITE OF WAITING FOR A MONTH TILL JAN 2012, I DIDN’T RECEIVE THE CHEQUE. I HAD TO AGAIN FOLLOW-UP WITH THEM. THE TRACKING NUMBER PROVIDED BY AIRTEL WAS NOT TRACKED BY OVERNITE COURIER’S WEBSITE.
                          • They Re-registered complaints many times after that and communicated cheque has been dispatched (Which I still didn’t receive). I think someone is walking from Bangalore to Pune to give the cheque.
                          • On one instance I was communicated that the cheque was returned back from my door as I was not available at home. The fact is that my family is always available at home and if at all the person came, why the courier guy didn’t call me or put a note on my door?
                          • THIS CLEARLY IMPLIES THAT THERE WAS NO CHEQUE DISPATCHED FROM AIRTEL AND THEY ARE JUST TRYING TO FOOL AROUND
                          • NO ONE TOOK THE EFFORT TO CALL ME UP INSPITE OF REPEATATIVE EMAILS SENT ASKING TO CALL ME UP ON MY NUMBER
                          • I HAVE ALSO WRITTEN TO THEIR ESCALLATION MATRIX "nodal.[protected]@airtel.in", “appellate.[protected]@in.airtel.com” THAT ALSO IS OF NO USE.
                          • This is worst customer service I have ever experienced
                          IF THIS DEPLAY WOULD HAVE BEEN FROM CUSTOMER’S END, THEY WOULD HAVE CHARGED THE LATE PAYMENT FEES. NOW I NEED TO UNDERSTAND HOW MUCH INTEREST SHOULD I CHARGE THEM FOR KEEPING MY MONEY THIS LONG?????
                          I HAVE ALL THE EMAIL COMMUNICATIONS DONE WITH THEM FROM JUNE 2011 TILL NOW.
                          Can these officers wake up now after 9 months of customer service (??) and REFUND my amount back ASAP?
                          May I understand what airtel does apart from providing new dates (1 month later)?
                          are you still buying time after 9 months of escallations? it seems you folks really don't care of your image and brand. It has already hurted a lot by way of mouth publicity and bulletin boards
                          How will I come to know the Cheque has been dispingtched? Airtel has been communicating since 6 months that the concern has been addressed and the cheque has been dispatched; however the transaction number is never tracked on Overnite courier's website. I can not trust till the moment the Cheque reaches me physically and it gets cleared!
                          AIRTEL HAS REPEATED SAME HARASSEMENT STORY! THEY SENT AN EMAIL TO ME SAYING THE CHEQUE HAS BEEN DISPATCHED AND I WILL GET IN 12 WORKING DAYS.
                          -WHICH COURIER COMPANY TAKES 12-15 DAYS TO DELIVER CHEQUE?
                          -THEY HAVE SENT THE EMAIL STATING SAME CHEQUE NUMBER, CHEQUE DATE/AND SAME TRANSACTION REFERENCE NUMBER OF OVERNITE COURIER EXPRESS WHICH IS NEVER TRACKED. I BELIEVE THEY NEED SOME STRICT ACTION NOW!
                          WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON WITH AIRTEL BROADBAND? TODAY AGAIN THEY OPENED ANOTHER SERVICE REQUEST WITH SLA OF 1 MONTH. TIME HAS COME TO SUE THEM HEAVILY.
                          Folks, I want all harassed customers to check if they are able to find the transaction number given by Airtel “[protected]” on http://www.overnitenet.com/Webtrack.aspx. I have not been able to find it since Dec’2011 and they still send this reference number and same cheque number saying concern has been resolved!

                              Airtel has now blocked my outgoing without any prior notice or information since a month. I cant even send messages. I was busy with my office work and couldnt find time to go to this fraud company's office to check out whats wrong with them. But a week ago, when i called customer care, he asked me to provide my ID proof to nearest Airtel office. But that wasn't a new sim. I purchased it over 3 years ago and submitted all the necessary ID proofs 3 times. Still this fraud company wants me to submit it all over again. I said ok and submitted my ID proofs once again on thursday[protected] morning 10 AM at Koramangala Airtel office in Bangalore here. They said your number will be unblocked in 3 days. And its 6th day now. Still not unblocked. And the guys in the Airtel customer care call center are [censored]ing retards. They ask you funny questions. One lady asked me - "sir please check if you have blocked outgoing from your phone", "sir please check if you have handed over your phone to some kids.."! Why would i do that?! LOL The only reason i submitted the ID proofs again and beared all the torture Airtel gave is, i wanted that number. I have lots of good contacts from that number. Once they unblock, i want to [censored] Airtel off from my phone and port the number to some other better company. Guys never buy this crap s**t. I have asked all of my friends, relatives to throw Airtel off from their phone and choose some better company.

But as per my knowledge I done call of Rs 25(aprox) and 2 hours net suffering.                                   My name is Manoj Kulkarni am working with SAMSUNG as a Engineer Like a Servics Industry , 3 month ago one lady called and tell that she was calling from Airtel and given me some details regarding conversion of PriPaid to Postpaid of my Airtel no [protected], I have told her taht i am ready to convert my cell into post paid but tell her regarding the network problem in my residential area ( Wakdewadi, Shivajinagar Pune) but she given the assurity of resolution of network issue in my area with immediate effect. Then i have convert my no into post paid service. After next day i am facing the network issue in my area then i again contact to your call center & that lady for the improment of network of Airtel and they told me, we are sending technical person in your area for the resolution of network complaint but as off now nobady came and resolve the network problem.

                                  I am paying the Post paid bills around Rs. 1000.00 per month to airtel. Now i think i am westing my money due to network problem. every day many calls receive to me & i am calling to many number but suddenly call drop. and every menuite Rs.0.50 paisa call charges added in my bill. Now i am very frusthreated from Airtel

                                  and going to take legal action against Airtel if my problem not resolve within 5 days.

                                  I am also want take the action aganst that lady " who have syggest & cheat me to conversion of post paid connection.

                                  The name of that great lady is Rashmi (Swarget airtel office Pune)



                                  I am waiting to taket the necessasy action on my issue from Airtel management and give the waiver against the bill charged to me from last 3 Month's.

                                    I am using airtel no.[protected] since 2.5 years. In bill of dated 21- jan-2012 there was extra amount put on me for java games. But i have not downloaded any games .Regarding this when I received the first message on 13/01/2012 (about 99 rupees charged for java games) ,
                                    I called to customer care( Spoke to Executive : Chetan )and told the issue that i hv not downloaded anything, and he told that game club is active on my number. So i told him to de-activate that immediately. within 24 hours it will be de-activate like that to replied. Same thing repeated for four days again , I called to c.c ( sandeep Gr.Manager ) he told that after generation of bill amount will be reduced. they never stopped that activation . After generation of bill i called On 23/01/2012 to 121 customer care and reminded them that due to the java games issue i got extra bill ( 26 ( reference no : F[protected]. Surprisingly they told that those games were downloaded by me and cannot be reduce bill.
                                    My average bill per month wills around 500 to 700 hundred. This month I got 1859 rupees extra for java games.
                                    First complaint date : 13/01/2012 , spoke to Chetan ( F[protected]
                                    Second complaint date : 17/01/2012 , spoke to Sandeep ( Group Manager ) (F[protected]
                                    I called to nodal officer SANIA and Dheeraj and told the issue but nobody is ready to believe.
                                    They not de-activated the game club services …..till Feb-3 , finally I only stopped my GPRS activation.
                                    Now airtel stopped my outgoing services.
                                    Till date ( 20/02/2012) I am fighting for this but there is no solution for airtel nodal officers.
                                    Simple they are saying that the amount is very much valid and cannot be reduced.
                                    Please do justice for me.
                                    Dear appelate authority,

                                    You are the higher authority to help me.
                                    Please check my all complaints, when I called first time to your customer care, your people told that after the bill generation extra money will be deducted, then I waited till the generation of bill.
                                    Please find below complaint lists, same was not solved by your people . if this would have solved ( Java games activation deactivation ) on first day in January, my bill would not crossed 500 per month.

                                      This is subramani from chennai,

                                      now a days we are facing promo calls (caller tone calls, advertisement calls) from mobile service providers, even if we registered with do not disturb registry

                                      Also we have complained lot of times with mobile services provider customer care.

                                      Those kind of calls are very irritating when we are waiting for any important calls or wailing in office meetings.

                                      am working in BPO and will be in night shift, when i used to sleep in day time am getting these kind of calls three to four times per day

                                      i would like to highlight this problem in mass media.

                                      Note:

                                      In AIRTEL / VIDEOCON am facing problem that without subscription of any auto updated messages regarding cricket and caller tones, movies details they are activating without informing us and also deducting charges for the same.


                                      Please support me for getting out of these problems by doing awareness programs.

                                        I have been a customer of airtel mobile services since last 5 years and inspite of the same I have been mistreated and abused by an Airtel Collecting agent for a bill of mere 4000k inspite of explaining the reason of non- payment.

                                        And to my shock , inspite of raising this to senior executive and asking only an apology note , there has not been any action.

                                        Details for reference:

                                        I was using the number : [protected] for more than a year and then considering my work assignment to Srilanka , i could not pay the bill , moresoever as there was no international roaming availaible hence I had no option but to change the number , The day I returned - I got a call from the so called " legal deptt" that I need to submit my bill , Considering working hours I informed that it would be possible only after 6:00pm , I got 5 calls between 1 to 6 :00 for reminder - which was not only disturbing but also made me feel as if I was a terrorist /culprit who would run away with 4000k . The last call I got was at 6:30 pm on the same day when I was actually going towards the Airtel Relationship Center and these were the words of the executive " If you are poor and you cannot afford tp pay then why do you buy phones,,, this is not your dads company , I will now call all your friends and tell that you are a cheater etc etc .." - this was all in Hindi with usage of abusive words like - aukat , baap ...

                                        This was just too much to handle after a day long in office and hence decided to go back home and lodge a formal complaint, I discussed with family and they adviced that I should just forget about it and pay the bill . Considering their advice I decided to pay the bill the next day.

                                        The next day - at 11:00 I got call from my mother saying that she has been abused by the same agent from airtel and the chain does not stop here , the agent had called all the most used nbumbers - my husband , inlaws, my friends... - the language used cannot even be detailed in this mail .

                                        At 2:00 I got a call from the same lady and the abuses started again and this time I had to tell her to hand over the phone to the senior manager ,,, which she ignored - she yelled and called me "Ghatiya", " Farebi", "Bekar", "Paise khanne vaali" for an hour and eventually with her loud voice her senior manager heard and took the phone from her..

                                        I narrated the story to her and told her that the bill would be paid only after apology mail amd call to all the numbers where I have been defamed for a mere amount ...There has been no call or no mail since then ..and I need an explaination on the below :

                                        - Reason of mental harrasment
                                        - Reason of defamation
                                        - Reason of no apology

                                        I am in a stable job , engineer by education and manager in a MNC by profession , hence money is not the reason of not paying the bill .. but I need to understand how do you plan to repay the mental harrasment and defamation done by a local executive....and more so the complete failure to address the issue even by a senior executive ???????

                                        Dear Sir,

                                        I am an airtel postpaid customer. I would like to bring to your notice that i have oberved off late whoever i speak to from my mobile have suddenly turned hostile or may i say disinterested. I am suspecting some foul play here, i believe there is some kind of defamation going on with or without the knowledge of Airtel. I use this phone for business and my business has been affected. I would like to bring this matter to your notice and would like you to investigate the matter immediately and get hold of the culprits. If this is not resolved with immediate effect i will sue airtel in consumer court for damages.
