I would like to register a complaint against Airtel India with the consumer forum on account of the following

1) The blackberry charges have been levied without consent or prior approval. Airtel agreed that this was done without my knowledged but so far has not reverted the money which they charged (Rs. 4022)
2) After having pointing out this aberration/discrepancy not been able to adjust the amount until full payment is made
3) Not responding properly to the email communications asking for the adjustment amount or to the question about how the blackberry service got activated . i mailed their 121 several times, got no response.
4) Threatening with legal action and rude behavior of some of your company /designated associates
5) Un-necessary and uncalled mental harassment of relatives. phone records were scanned to take out the no. of my relatives and they were troubled unnecessarily.

I would like to know what right does Airtel has to contact my relatives on its own. I would also like to know how Airtel got hold of the # as it is a violation of privacy norms in my view. On top of that your associates/designates are also guilty of rude behavior and threatening language. Would like to point out that my sister got multiple calls from the #[protected].We believe what has been done comes under the preview of a criminal offence.

This is when we have been following up with Airtel even after we did not get response to our questions before we could proceed with any payment or get assurance about any adjustment . We followed up with Airtel Customer support Mr Kiran K and spoke with Anu from Logics Agency. They were kind enough to admit that the company had done a mistake , that the money would be adjusted and there is no reason for anyone from Airtel to be doing what they have (Threatening and mental harassment of the relatives who are completely unconnected with this business)

Please understand that these are very serious allegations that your company needs to answer. From my end all I can say is that this whole episode has left a very bad taste in the mouth of a loyal customer who has been with airtel for more than last 10 years and wanted to do so in future ( the very reason why this # was transferred from my husband and we wanted to continue the service without using it while moving short term onsite to US)

    This is regarding the AIRTEL Hyderabad number I have ([protected])

    I called up Airtel Customer Care on 9-March-2011 @ 9:46 PM regarding the Bill Payment and GPRS.
    I paid the bill from Airtel Net Payment and then i got Airtel Netbanking Response "Sorry! Your payment has been cancelled. Please try later" however The money got deducted from my saving accounts.

    Secondly, I had a GPRS plan of Rs. 99 earlier which I got cancelled some 20 days back and I had a doubt that I was still being charged for that.

    The agent took more than 9 minutes to tell me
    1) the bill gets reflected only after 24 hrs
    2) the GPRS plan is no more active

    and we had a major argument over this on the phone.

    After 1 minute of the call got over, I got a call from [protected] saying that "I am calling from Police Station and u just misbehaved with the Airtel agent". I knew that it can't be possible for a POLICE to call because of that so I just disconnected the call.

    Since then I am getting abusive SMS from the same [protected] number.

    I kindly request the AIRTEL to train their representatives and DON'T THREATEN THE CUSTOMERS.

      On March 3rd at 11:18 PM, while I was sleeping, Airtel sent a message saying "Thanks for downloading MCPACK from airtel. You have been charged Rs. 75". I happened to check this message in the morning. I don't even know what is MCPACK or how it landed on my mobile. When I complained customer care about this, they just sent me an sms saying we can't provide waiver as it was initiated using wap service. If not for wap how will it be downloaded onto my mobie, other than PC connection (which I didn't do). That was the most dumbest reply. The complain was that it happened without my intervention. FYI, there is no one else in my house to access my mobile without my knowledge. Please act on the complain, regarding MCPACK, most commonly found on internet. Hope to see the refund.

      Now this is crazy. Now I am charged Rs. 99 saying that I downloaded "Now Get Naughty PlayGirls summer pack @99". I am not even using that phone often, i never even visited any website or enrolled for any service, now why am I being charged. Last time, when MCPACK charged Rs.75 for no reason, I didn't care, but now I am going to email you at this address [protected]@airtel.in, please take care of it orelse I will forced to officially lodge a complaint.

        I've submitted Number Portability Request in order to switch ([protected]) to Idea network. I've been getting reasons from Idea that Airtel is giving non-sense reasons just to delay the NMP process evenafter paying the dues. I've generated Portability code multiple times, but still no success. I know Airtel is losing 5 years old customer but they should have thought of this earlier when I raised concerns over network coverage 100s of times. Just now I've receveid an SMS from Airtel saying "Kindly sms CPR to 51619 to cancel the porting request.>Is there any way we can lodge a formal complaint against Airtel thru TRAI etc... ? please advise.-

          Dear Forum,

          I have a airtel digital TV,
          My digital TV account no is:

          Since past 4 days I am not receiving any reception through airtel set top box.
          When I tried to get through their customer support I was not able to get through the toll free no 12150. It was only until I dialed through the tolled no [protected] that i got hold of somebody.
          I dont remember the name of the agent as the call was forwarded 3 times.
          Finally the person who answered my question quickly responded that there will be reception failure till 12th March due to Sun out age.
          Before I could probe further the agent Hung up.
          I again tried calling the Toll free number 12150 and was not able to get anyone. Then when I tried to call on the tolled number, the call connected the agent put me on hold and the call got dropped.

          I checked the airtel digital TV site and did not find mention of any Issues the customers could face in reception due to Sun outage (see attachment). My neighbor has a TATA Sky connection and is not facing any issue due to sun outage.
          Also if I dont get reception for N number of days why should I pay for that many no of days and am force to make a payment on the next due date?

            Hi

            This is i regards to my Mobile number [protected]

            its a Land line phone which is like a wireless handset from last two months
            i am not able to use it.

            The Problem was one day suddenly it asked for pin number which i punched

            in wrong and then it asked for PUK number so i called customer service

            from My sisters phone, the advisor asked me to remove the Sim from my

            landline phone. which i knew i should not bcoz it have charged me in the

            past some RS-250.. i told him abt the same.. he said dont worry its fine.

            i took assurance from him and then i removed the Sim. later when i put the

            Sim back ..it just displayed Emergency, again i called up the customer

            care. this time they refuse saying they dont handle landline query and i need to

            go to Airtel gallery. which i did later in a week .

            at the Airtel gallery in vasai west near station, they said there is a

            charge again for the same amount and suggested me to convert it to mobile

            phone, i said i can not convert it to mobile phone as all my numbers are

            store and i was pretty happy the the landline scheme,

            i told them disconnect it as i am not able to use it and dont want it as

            mobile number... and now i have got a bill for Rs-276. without using it

            and the too when i have asked the to disconnect.. i am tired going to the

            airtel gallery.. please get it is resolve. i would love to keep the landline

            as it was working before but not ready to pay the charge and the bill for

            which i have not used.. its not abt the money its abt the principles

              sir, my mobile no. is [protected]. which is deactivated last week. i talk to customer care for reason of deactivation then he said that yr no. is delete from here.and tell to deposite yr id and photo to local air tel office . i deposite my id and photo to the local office.but my no. still deactivated. i also talk to local tsm . he gave me assurance for waiting 2 day but no result.now tsm is also saying that no.will not be activated.sir what is my fault,i can"t understanding.

                Dear Sir,

                I had been enjoying Airtel's prepaid services on my mobile since more than five years. Of late some services are getting activated without my knowledge and on a daily basis my account balance is getting debited. I had contacted the Customer Care, the services of which is not to be told any further. Those call center guys/girls talk as if some recorded message has to be played, their statements do not provide any satisfactory reply. Kindly see that not only such forceful marketing be encouraged as also these 'customer care ' be handled by some responsible representative of Airtel office and not mere call center irresponsible kids. We really do not so much time to keep trying to get a line for 121. Its simply ridiculous. Hope to hear from you in my email-id [protected]@gmail.com. Regards.

                  PLEASE NOTE UR TECHNICIAN MR.SHEKAR ([protected]) IS HIGHLY RUDE AND JUST WALKS IN AND OUT OF OUR HOUSE AS IF IT IS HIS OWN HOUSE. HE CAME IN YESTERDAY WITH A NORMAL SET TOP BOX AND SAID COMPLAINT WAS RAISED FOR THE SAME AND WOULD BE BACK IN HALF AN HOUR WITH THE DVR BOX.

                  TODAY MORNING, WITHOUT CALLING HE JUST WALKED INTO THE HOUSE AND GOT THE HD BOX SAYING COMPLAINT WAS RAISED FOR THE HD BOX AND NOT FOR THE DVR … THIS IS ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS !!! (PL GO THRU TRAILING MAIL FOR CLARIFICATION OF THIS POINT)

                  CUSTOMER CARE REFUSE TO TAKE A COMPLAINT UNLESS U PRESSURIZE THEM. THEY ALWAYS SAY “IF WE REGISTER A COMPLAINT U WILL NEED TO PAY Rs.100/-”

                  PLEASE TAKE THE CONNECTION BACK AND REFUND MY AMOUNT. I HAVE HAD ENOUGH WITH AIRTEL. THIS IS ABSOLUTELY UNCALLED FOR …. IT IS NOW MORE THAN 3 WEEKS SINCE THIS DRAMA IS GOING ON AND IT IS SURE WASTE OF MY OFFICE TIME.

                  UR ENGINEER SAYS HE CAN ONLY CONME IN BETWEEN 10.30AM AND 05.30PM AS THOSE ARE HIS WORKING HOURS, HENCE I HAVE TO LEAVE OFFICE EVERYTIME AND GO WHEN HE COMES …. .THIS IS HIS THIRD VISIT WITHIN THE LAST 15 DAYS WITHOUT ANY SOLUTION. ANY QUESTION PUT FORWARD TO HIM HAS THE ANSWER “CALL CENTRE PPL DID NOT GIVE ME CORRECT INFORMATION, HENCE IT IS NOT MY FAULT, PLEASE SPEAK TO THE CALL CENTRE.” HE ALSO MENTIONED THAT THERE ARE TOO MANY DVR BOXES AWAITING REPLACEMENT AS IT IS A COMMON COMPLAINT SO HE CANNOT GIVE ANY TIME FRAME AS TO WHEN IT WILL BE REPLACED. PLEASE NOTE IF THE DVR BOXES ARE FAULTY THEN WHY DID THE SAME GET SUPPLIED TO US / CUSTOMERS ??????. (I HAVE RECORDER THE CONVERSATION WITH HIM SO HAVE PROOF THAT HE SAID THIS).

                  IS THIS THE SERVICE AIRTEL IS GIVING ?????? WE WENT IN FOR AIRTEL EVEN THOUGH THE COST WAS HIGHER THAN YOUR COMPETITIORS AND THINKING SERVICE AND QUALITY WOULD NOT BE AN ISSUE BUT WE HAVE BEEN LET DOWN BEYOND OUR IMAGINATION .. IS THE HARRASMENT TO THE CUSTOMER WORTH IT OR IS THAT UR INTENSION ????????????????????

                    Hi- Well, today I have also recieved a miss call from number: [protected]. And did called back them to check who might be this, then the person told me that I have been awarded with 15 lakh Airtel Dish TV lottery and I need to call his supervisor Rihan Patel no:[protected]. When I called him he asked me to deposit a amount of Rs. 15,000 to his compnay's bank account so that I can get my award money of 15 lakh with 10 mnts (he told the amount will be transfered to my bank account). This seems to be a fradulent call and guys be very aware not to belive such calls.

                    Hence I request you to please take care of such fradulent calls, so that your company name would not be used for fraud purpose.

                    I have received the message for free Set Top Box. Can anyone stop this crime. Why the Syber Crime Control team does not stop all this nonsence and crime activity
                    Boss, Beware!! this call was from Pakistan, 0092 is pakistan's code, never share any personal information with such calls, who lure you with big incentives, lotteries etc.

                    My dear friend, nothing in this world comes for free, Forget it now. It is o.k. as long as you didn't share any of your addresses, account info etc with these .

                    Today I received a call from [protected] saying we care clalin gfrom Airtel and you have won Rs.10 Lakhs. he mentione dhe is callign from Delhi. I told him I don't beleive you as this is a international no. He said please ahve faith in God you seriously have won the prize money.I told him for sure you are a fraud and this kind of things are happend every day with several people. So I donlt trust you. He said please trust me and call my manager Rihan Patel on [protected]. And he will give me details and the money will be in my account by 12 noon. I told him you never found anybody since mornign? And I also told him again this is a pakistan number and not a local number and. He said this is an international no. and it is a computer generated no. which selects the winners. I told him I dont have time for all this so please keep the phone. He said please atleast once call my manager and he will tell you, I hope atleast then you will beleive me. I said ok if I find time, I will call you. And he kept on insistign that I call him, I told him I ma drivign right no and it is gettign late for work. He said please call up within 15 mins. I reached office and googled Rihan Patel's name and I came across this blog. My itnution was right that this was a fraud call.
                    These guys are definately upto some major problems. Please make sure you can stop this ASAP.

                    Strange !!! Even today i got a call from [protected]. I didn't life the call. When I Googled out, found that +92 belongs to Pakistan... for a moment, my mind Q who can call me from Pak. Then I googled the number directly, and got your posting.
                    WOW!!! This thing has not yet stopped. I also received a call from the[protected] and the person claimed that I have received a Airtel Mobile lottery of Rs.25 Lacs. He gave me another 14 digit number '[protected] and asked me to call this number to claim the lottery amount. I called this number and a person named Vijay Kumar congratulated me for winning the Airtel DISH TV lottery of Rs 25 lacs and asked me to recharge my number and give me bank account number. Since I am using a Post paid number I immediately knew this was a fraud call and have take up the issue with Airtel Customer support [protected]@airtel.in for taking action.

                      Hello,

                      I was an Airtel postpaid customer for the past 8 years. In September, I had to travel to the USA and put my phone into the safe custody. I was to return during the first week of November. However, my trip got extended by 3 more months and hence I promptly called the Airtel customer care requesting them to extend the safe custody by 3 more months. The customer service agent confirmed that this could be done. On my return on Saturday (March 5th), I went to the Airtel Retail office to activate my phone and they told me they disconnected my phone and had no records of a request being made to extend the safe custody period while I am very sure I received a confirmation from the Airtel customer service. The same happened to my landline, and they humbly obliged to reactivate it. In order to activate my mobile, I was being asked to submit all documents again. How will a person who has not stayed in the country for 6 months provide any valid documents? Also, is this the way you treat a loyal Airtel customer, who has had the connection for 8 years???? I have always used the Airtel landline as well, suggested the same to my parents and plenty friends. I was very very happy with Airtel service until this happened. I feel so bad that a loyal customer like me does not get deserved respect back. Deeply annoyed with the service provided. I have now switched over to Vodafone. I am sure it does not matter to Airtel since they still have a lot of customers, but if this continues, there will be many disappointed customers like me slowly switching over to a different mobile carrier.

                        Bill No.[protected] of Rs. 297.35 dated 24.2.2011 received on 7.03.2011 in which charged Rs. 50/- as Last bill period Late Fee. But till date I have not received last bill for my mobile no. [protected]. Just now contacted local area Air tel Relation Centre and representative agreed to waive off the penalty of Rs. 50/- and accordingly I have paid Rs. 250/- by cheque. Air Tel is requested to wiave penalty and accept the the payment as full settlement of till date. In next bill penalty should not be charged.

                        A line of confirmation should be addressed on my mobile as well as on my email [protected]@yahoo.com.

                          I do strongly agree to it. Even I have registered for DND for my both Airtel no.s long ago but still I get such nonsense SMSs in bulk. I have writen a couple of mails to Airtel complaining such incidents but haven't got even a single reply from AIRTEL - Pls wake up Airtel...and do something to stop it for ever!

                          DND is useless like any other laws in India. Nobody is bothered about DND. Those who are sending messages are least bothered about DND. I had registered my Airtel number in DND in 2007 and lodged complaint with Airtel numerous times about these messages but NO action is being taken as yet. Now I am planning to move to consumer court and see what happens. I will make BA-56007 to pay all my phone expenses. I will come back soon.

                          I get at least 2 messages a day from BA 56007. Why doesn't the supreme court intervene and direct the telecom operators regarding enforcement o[censored]nsolicited SMS' when the phone number is registered as DND?

                          That would be welcome judicial activism.

                            Sir, This is to bring to your kind notice that i have lost my mobile phone a couple of days back. Since then i approached Airtel Office at Begumpet for the issuance of Duplicate SIM. They have issued a SIM but not activated for more than 48 hours now.

                            I have lot of calls to take since that is my first contact. I am working as State President for YSR Sena, if this is the case with the VIP's in the city we can imagine how the approach would be for the general public.We have submitted the required documents for more than 3 times but even then there is no response. Customer care service is also not upto the mark. No appropriate response when customers approach with the requests. FYI we have consulted Begumpet i.e., Airtel Head Office, Life Style Building and Ameerpet Relationship centre too, but no luck

                            I request you to pls take care of the above request at your earliest convenience and do the needful

                              I immediate call to the service center for what reason for my bill amount raised but not clarified I runt to the service centers but they cant clarified my quiries.                                 My Airtel number [protected], on 7th February, 2011 I had applied for the first time to switch my network service provider from Airtel to Reliance GSM at Reliance Web World, JVPD Scheme, Vile Parle (W), Mumbai. And on 12th February, 2011 I received a message from Reliance informing me about the rejection of my application by Airtel giving the excuse of violation of contract.

                                Therefore, on 14th February, 2011 I visited Airtel gallery at Lokhandwala, Andheri (W) to know the reason for rejection and about the violation of contract. There I was informed that as I am having the special benefit of 10 paise / sms that is why my application has been rejected. Instantly, I asked the Airtel executive to deactive my 10 paise / sms scheme so that I am able to switch my network to Reliance GSM without any trouble for which I was told that the service has been deactivated and this will be in effect without 4 hours. There, I was told to just go to Reliance gallery and just inform them that the reason for rejection application has been resolved and they and proceed with the switching of my network to Reliance GSM, which I did instantly by visiting the Reliance Web World, JVPD Scheme and I was told as the whole process is online the network will get switched.

                                But, unfortunately I did not get the benefit of switching the network this time. Whenever, I used to go to Reliance gallery and ask them when would my network will get switched to Reliance they just used to tell me within 2 days it will be done. But this never happened and after some days at the same Reliance gallery I was told by Mr. Vishal (who is in Sales at Reliance Web World) that if my application has been rejected for some reason and I got the matter resolved at Airtel side then they (Reliance company) have to send an e-mail to 'Mobile Portability Service Centre', who is actually responsible for switching of the network from one to the other, which they did not do. Now, I was asked to speak to Reliance Helpline where I was told that my Unique Porting ID has expired now and I must have to re-apply for the same if I want to switch the network.

                                On the same day, i.e. 28th February, 2011 I re-applied for the switching of my mobile network from Airtel to Reliance GSM at Reliance Web World, JVPD Scheme by paying Rs. 25 for the SIM card (which I had got for free when I had applied for the first time) and though the government has prescribed Rs. 19 to be charged by the consumer.

                                On 1st March, 2011 again I received message from Reliance informing me that my application (this time, too) has been rejected by my current network operator (Airtel). On 2nd March, 2011, I, again visited Airtel gallery to know the reason for rejection this time where I actually have to argue with them to get my network switched and in the end I was told that at their side it was still showing my sms service at 10 paise / sms pending. And I was told, now I will face no problem in switching my network to another mobile operator. Although, everyone at Airtel gallery was good enough with me in behaviour.

                                Again, I visited Reliance Web World at JVPD Scheme, Vile Parle (W) and asked them to process my request of switching the network from Airtel to Reliance GSM and send an e-mail to 'Mobile Portability Service Centre'. But, this time I was not getting proper response initially by the sales team of Reliance Web World which was in charge of Mr. Vishal and Mr. Wasim.

                                I asked Mr. Vishal to e-mail at the 'Mobile Portability Service Centre' regarding my switching of network to Reliance GSM from Airtel to take it further and to complete the formalities but Mr. Vishal was not ready to listen to me and he was saying that the problem is at my current network operator, although I had informed him that this time I have got it resolved at Airtel.

                                Mr. Vishal was just asking me to speak to the helpline for the further procedure for which I asked him that now he should help me out regarding the next steps and he took me to a lady who is in customer support over there and I informed her about the issue and only this lady was good enough in behaviour at Reliance Web World.

                                On the orders of this lady who is in customer support at Reliance Web World and probably senior to Mr. Vishal e-mailed to 'Mobile Portability Service Centre', on 2nd March, 2011, regarding my issue of mobile number switching to Reliance GSM from Airtel network but that too, taking his own time unnecessarily.

                                After all this struggle to get my number switched to Reliance GSM from Airtel still on 8th March, 2011, my number has not been switched to Reliance GSM network.

                                I hope consumers complaints at www.consumerscomplaints.in will help me to get the benefit of mobile number portability.

                                I strongly agree with this complaint as mobile companies are misguiding the customer or they dont know the actual process of MNP. I am too facing this problem and i had given a complaint in consumer forum today itself.

                                As I am the user of airtel network from last year & I was fully satisfied with this network until now. But I have one issue I have to send national sms daily to my dear ones & it is costing me Rs.88 per month which is huge as compared to other network, thats why I am forced to change my network.

                                As my satisfaction from the network doesn't allow me to switch over but it is being very costly to me to spend Rs. 88 every month & I don't have any wish to do MNP.

                                Please if any solution that can be found out to this so that I don't have to change my network. I can spend 30-35 Rs. every month to get 2000 approx sms every month.

                                This will be valuable effort from your side if you give me any plan within this range.

                                Airtel, Reliance — Mobile Number Portability from Airtel to Reliance

                                I want to shift my network operator from Airtel to Relaince due to lack of 3G network of Airtel in Punjab Circle. So, I sent the request message for MNP and got the porting ID AP378647 which is having expiry on 29/12/2011. I have submitted the request for Mobile Number Portability to Relaince Office with Porting ID in Panchkula on 14th December, 2011. Till now I haven't got any update regarding the progress on MNP. If I ask Airtel, they say you need to contact Relaince. If I ask them, then say that Mobile Clearing House hasn't cleared the number yet. It has been 15 days and still no progress and all the people say that the number portability work is done in 7 days max. So whats going on here? Really Bad..

                                  I made Airtel broadband request on 2-Mar-2011 through Airtel website giving my mobile number, email-id and address details. I got 2 auto generated request numbers through SMS. These numbers are[protected] and [protected]. On same day I got call from a person claiming from Airtel to send someone to collect my documents. The person came at my home address and collected my photo, copy of voter-id card and Rs 500 for 649/month broadband plan. He did give me any form to fill up and said your document will be processed in 1-2 days.

                                  After one week, I did not get the connection, the person who collected my documents is not reachable. When I called up Airtel customer care, they said they can't verify anything until Form number is known and asked me to visit nearest relationship center.

                                  All this is very suspicious. I seriously believe that Airtel system is hacked by anti-social elements to get valid ID proofs. I am not concerned with Rs 500 but the copy of my voter-id that can be used to obtain N number of fake SIM connections.

                                  As advise to reader, please follow 2 simple rules while giving away your ID proofs:
                                  1) Always submit documents in retail outlet or customer center office. Never give to collection agents
                                  2) Write purpose of the ID proof on the copy so that it can not used by making further copies of it.

                                    My no. [protected] was ported to airtel on 19th feb,2011 and from since then my services automatically gets barred untill I reinsert sim in my mobile. I have tried keeping sim another handset but i was facing same problem. I have complained many a times at customer care about this issue with no proper reply.

                                    At last on 8th march,2011 they have told me replace my existing sim with new one from Airtel relationship centre which I did from Borivali (West), Mumbai relationship centre, at 12:00 noon, by paying Rs. 25 for the sim and they have told me new sim will get activated in maximum 4 hours but untill 11:00pm my sim is not activated yet.

                                    To my surprise today when I contacted customer care they have told me your number is not in thier database which means youe number is not ported yet to airtel.

I have tried every day since then to activate it by calling 123 and always get the same reply: Check Operator Services. Today I called Customer Care and was told first told that it had been connected, which was not true, and second, that I had provided no identity - also not true, as I sent my passport photocopy and a photo of myself. If I had kno9wn Airtel was so inefficient, I would never have opted for this connection. I see that many other dissatisfied customers have sent a variety of complaints. If Airtel is unable to honour their commitments, could I please have my money back? I see no reason to make them a gift of Rs. 300.                                     i had bought an Airtel sim card bearing no. [protected] & then deposited the Application Form with valid documents as said by AIRTEL POINT Jharsuguda before one & half month, but after one week or more my Incoming calls were active but Outgoing calls were barred, so i called the Customer Care Executive (C.C.E.) & found that my documents are not submitted. So i questioned the same to AIRTEL POINT they replied that the documents have been missed, so kindly send us the documents again. So I did the same. now after 1 month when the Sim Card was deactivated, i asked the C.C.E. and the reply was the documents were not submitted, so i asked AIRTEL POINT they say now that the card can't be activated, and argued me rubbish & told me to buy a new card.                                       I m dev chauhan,[protected]. on my mob. no. wiyhout any intimation they activeted services like metromony, cricket pack. When i calling 121. they r only doing formlty like yes sir sorry for inconvinous now i m this service pack turn into deactiveted and when isk him abt service pack how they r activeted on my no. they told me that sorry sir it never happen again.
                                      All i writing bcause i never expect from one of the most famous brand in telecom industry AIRTEL. kindly that metter .

                                        Hi,
                                        AIRTEL 3G - NO USE: I am struggling to get to activate 3G signals in my USB device. (Mobile No. [protected]) I have taken the USB 3G Device one and half month back and till date i don't get 3G signals. Do you think is this FUNNY? Yes, Several times I have walked into airtel office located in bangalore opp. to jayadeva hospitals. Similarly i made many calls to the customer care number...BUT no one is helped me to get activated the 3g connection. Its all about change in system in terms of CUSTOMER RELATIONSHIP. Now a days no one bothered to take care customer complaints as like earlier. I can not see any senior people / representatives to handle the calls in their major offices in bangalore. As a customer dont have any option to satisfy with their calls. I shall wait for tomorrow if the problem still exists i shall shift to other service provider.

                                        Airtel — airtel signal, useless company should shut company

                                        The airtel is showing no progress in resolving signal problem , this i am talking for capital of india , delhi dwarka . i do not know if this is happening in delhi do not know how in remote places.

                                        USELLESS AIRTEL NOW A DAYS. I AM THINKING TO CHANGE TO DIFFERENT SERVICE PROVIDER ,
                                        use bsnl 3g.it is quite better than airtel 3g.

                                        i had a veryyyyyyyyyyyyyy bad experience with Airtel DTH not only DTH iam useing their mobile connection, land line and internet even though they simply skip the customer quries.Some few days back i faced a problem in my DTH i called to their customer care[protected] you peoples never trust me, i tried some almost 20 times a day ill never get a line to contact them, by gods grace after several tries i got a appoinment (even u can easily get appoinment to meet our prime minster) to speak with their one of the customer care executive(useless executives) they asked so many questions before i placed my queiry(even the credit card banks never ask such questions, i hope in future they will ask us when u went for a loo and when u took bath) after a long hold they asked my quires, i said my problem that my DTH is not working properly like i can view only some 10 channels(for your information iam paying 285 per month) for that one of their customer care excutive said recently we lanched one satilite coz of that you facing this kind of problem it will be rectified automatically, i said ok .i raised the complaint on thrusday 24th march 2011 after noon 3 0 clock .But till friday eveing i faced the same problem again i start tried to contact their customer care after my 25 th try one executive(useless executive) attened my cal i said the same thing and i shouted why you peoples are not responding for my quries, he simply hungup the call, again i tried all the peoples huging up the cals just like that, i got pissed off.These useless executive least bother to answer my quires(i hope some airtel senior persons will look in to this forum for their information iam provideing here my customer id :[protected], if you have the access you can listen the recorded voice) Finnaly on satrauday i got a message from airtel we r sending our executive to ur location to resolve the problem and they gave one mobile number of nearest rude and bloody distributer [protected] he never picks the call finally he picked the cal on sunday morning and he is telling we will send our executive shortly, i waited till 12 noon againg i called after some 10 tries he picked the call and shouting at me and he is telling we cant do the service now its possible only on tuesday if you wish you can go and give complaint on me with any of the airtel head office(i think Airtel is giveing delearship only to the gunda"s) Being we are working peoples we will get a chance to see the T.v only on sundays but these peoples ruined my wholeday happiness.

                                        may be some peoples or Airtel Staffs will think that he is a useless guy spending time on this and writeing this forum, even iam a cool guy and i will take all the matters very casualy but they make me to write like this and wastinng my precious time.Iam writeing this not to spoil their business atleast others get good service in future.Atlast i called up one of their executive who installed the DTH he came and rectified the problem and he charge me Rs300 for that, i asked him why you are charging more for this 5 mins work he told me that iam working on sundays and specia;y for you coz of that iam charging this much.He he he he i dono how to react.

                                        HEY AIRTEL DONT GIVE ADVERTISEMENT THAT YOU ARE THE LEADING PEOPLES IN TELECOMUNICATION AND IN DTH.
                                        FIRST TEACH YOUR CUSTOMER CARE HOW TO SOLVE CUSTOMER QUIRES AND HOW TO TALK WITH THE VALUABLE CUSTOMERS.

                                        Don't buy a airtel product(like prepaid, Post paid& 3G data card & other product from airtel). This company is fraud company in the world, because my basic problem is not clear. Last five days before i bought a 3g data card & 3g Sim(phone number : [protected] & E1731 & IMEI : [protected]).
                                        My first problem : i recharged rs.201/- for 250mb data usage. but im not get the 250mb data. I complain the cuctomer care . How to check my free balance data in my account ? the customer care officer told dail *123*11#. after you get the balance in your account. I try to many time dail the *123*11#. i have not recived the balance in my account.
                                        REF No: CANRC[protected]. & CANRC[protected] no use for this reff number.

                                        after i contact the nodal officer and the officer taken the complaint complaint number is :[protected]. complaint register but not give the solution to my problem.


                                        how to check my balance data in my account ????...SO DEAR FRIENDS DONT BUY THE AIRTEL PRODUCT. AIRTEL CUSTOMER CARE SERVICE IS VERY WOREST...

                                        Airtel customer service stinks ! They just don't care customers..even they disconnect the line while conveying nature of complaints..I am using 3g post paid connection ([protected]) last one month which is even slower than dial up connection ! Insult to injury a week ago my 3g connection was disconnected without any intimation to me ! I made several attempts to reach airtel customer service for 3G but no success as yet ! Who ever wants to go for a new 3G connection, my suggestion would be NOT TO TAKE AIRTEL 3G AND REPENT FOR LIFE !

                                        In response to my complaint, i too got a letter from one Mr. Rakesh Kumar followed by telphone call of Mr. Rahul. They told me within 4 days my 3g will be up and I received a call again from Rahul on 7th September saying my 3g is now up and running. Since I was not carrying my iPad next day (8th Sept) checked my connection and found it is still deactivated !! I tried reaching Rahul on his mobile but one of his colleague picked up the call saying Rahul is not around !! I left a message with his colleague that the 3g connection is still not re-activated. I again tried to reach Mr. Rahul several times on his mobile but he never picked up my call and switched off the mobile !! Finally I managed to reach an old friend of mine who works with airtel in senior position to re-activate my 3g connection. From the day it was up and running, I continue to get atleast 3 calls from airtel for payment and threatening me to disconnect the line ! Now I have decided to donate airtel 3g payment to charities but not to Sunil Bharati Mittal.
                                        The worst customer care ever even reliance is much better atleast the answer well especially the lower parel customer care. Exe name Rajesh is just good for nothing. A donkey sitting on a carpet. High time this people should get a big hit on their bumps..
                                        Have to agree with you all. Worst ever customer support. I have a Prepaid 3G datacard and have recharged it only once. Within a month it is deactivated and even after numerous calls to the so called customer support there is no solution. First I was asked to walk-in to their office as this cannot be done over phone. When I went to the nearest office I was asked to go to their headoffice in the city as they do not have the means to answer my query!!! The customer care number[protected] is useless. It gives only two options for download and does not even talk about 3G!!! Still going around without any solutions...have to throw out this card...
                                        same here airtel is worst no talks properly most time they says voice breaking, if we call other airtel helpline numbers most they refer to us to 121 and 121 they wont pick up also, , , they are selling cheaps chinese made data card for 2400 ruppess which they have bought for just few ruppess...
