1st Complain[protected] I have applied for number portability and wanted to change my service provider to Airtel from Tata Indicom. After sending message to Airtel i got reply with UPC code TZ788696 which i provided with Airtel number portability form including my address proof and photo on 22-Feb- 2011. My mobile number is [protected] and its been more than 10 days there is no action taken. I have visited Airtel web world but they don't have any update. I am unable to recharge my mobile because if do so and operator changes balance won't be transfered to new operator.

Please advice or take action.

I hold an Airtel prepaid connection. On January 10th 2011, I went to Airtel office at ITPL and applied for migration from prepaid to postpaid (I paid them Rs 300 and I was given a SIM card). I requested them to make the address verification to be completed within 13th January as I was going on vacation on 13th Jan. This was not done and I understand that it could be difficult to get the address verified in 2 days. When I came back from vacation on 1st of Feb 2011, I went to the airtel office at ITPL and asked them to get the address verification done now. From then on, I have been contacting airtel[protected] every couple of days and everytime the answer that I get from the Manager at Airtel ITPL office is that the "verification will be done in next two days". For more than a month now I have been getting the same answer but nobody turns up for verification. At times the airtel office says that they will check the details and call me back soon. But they NEVER CALL BACK.

I think the option left for me now is to change to other service provider. Thanks to Mobile Number Portability, I hope I'll not have to loose my number.

This post is an alert to people wanting to migrate from airtel prepaid to postpaid. Hope you do not have to go through the same frustration that I have gone through.

Better leave airtel. I used to be an airtel customer. But due to their pathetic customer service I decided to quit. There are so many better service providers these days.

I had very bad experience with AIRTEL Digital TV. They are very unprofessional, no ethics and irresponsible. Even if you go to customer care and lodge a complaint no one responds. I have copied my interaction with them. See this and decide if anybody wants to go to them for DTH service.

In my case I shifted my connection from Trivandrum to Bangalore. Their service was horrible and they collected 650 Rs from me for the reinstallation without any receipts. I lodged a complaint and waited for their response for more than 10 days. Nobody cared to respond. :-(. Here is my e-mail exchanges with them.

I should add this to my complaint. When I spoke to Airtel digital TV customer care executive to find out the procedure for shifting the connection from one address to another address last time I had a very bad experience. The customer care executive didn't know english properly. She had no clues about Airtel digital TV or the shifting process. She told me that the technician from Airtel would come to my address at Bangalore uninstall the dish and take it to my new address in trivandrum and install it on the next day. :-) I told her that it was very unlikely since trivandrum is another city which is ~750 KMs far. Again she was repeating the same. So I gave up and talked to the technician who came to my address to uninstall the dish at my home address in Bangalore . He gave me better idea about the shifting process. :-)

The reason for sharing this incident now - Whoever is contacting me, please make sure you have the required information to resolve my problem. Otherwise you will be wasting my time and your time. As I said I have been an Airtel customer since 2000 and I am ready to co-operate with you to resolve this.

      Thanks in advance,
      xxxx.

      Hi,

I have recently shifted my airtel digital connection from Bangalore to Trivandrum . I shifted the dish and the settop box to Trivandrum and requested airtel to do the reinstallation. Somebody came from Airtel when I was not there are home and did the installation and collected 650 Rs from my parents for the reinstallation without giving any receipt or bill. They even said that there was some outstanding balance and collected that money, again with no receipts. I am suspecting a fraud. Even if Airtel charge this money why can't you give the receipt for that? Why do you involve these kind of people in providing the service. I have been an airtel corporate customer for the past 5 years. If I was there at home when they did this I wouldn't have allowed them to take me for a ride like this. Please look into this issue and make the arrangement to get my money back immediately. Here are the details.

      Customer id: [protected]

As I said I am traveling for another coupe of weeks and I wont be reachable over phone. If you need anything please mail me. I will respond. If I don't get proper response from you on this I will contact consumer court.

      Thanks,
      xxxx.

        Dear Sir,

I was using the number ([protected]-Aircel) before MNP, but one month before i was received a call from airtel for MNP they offering me a plan 299 montly rental with below Packages and I changed my no -[protected] by MNP in Airtel.
        1. 1100 mins local free to any mobile (Call rate 30 paisa per min)
        2. 60 Sms per month.
        3. Call conferece (Free of cost)
        4. 200 Min STD per month to any mobile.

while I was received a welcome call from Airtel they never explain about my bill plan due Server down. While I called on 19 Feb 2011 to 198 (Ref No:-F[protected] for my billing plan they asking me bill 299 is not activated on my own no. after enquiry they activate this plan and given the 8 Rs. waiver for my free calls. but they not giving me call conference(Free of cost) and 200 Min STD per month as per commitment. This is a fake commitment to customer however customer believe on Airtel service. When I was called 198 again they told me send a e-mail on [protected]@airtelindia.com regading complaint. I was continued writing mails on this id but they were given no positive response after long conversation, then they suggest me call to appellate , I talked with Mr. Deepak Appellate person([protected]), I was discussed with him regarding my complaint then he suggest wirte a mail to appellate.[protected]@airtel.in. he told me we will update the status of my complaint in 3 days. bu till date no status was updating from their end. But today while i called again to appellate person, my call was connected with 3 Persons:

        1. Anju: - she put to hold my call for long time not revert me.

        2. Sanchita: she also put to hold my called for long time and then she answered server is down.

        3. Third name I was forget because she disconnet my call.

This is very serious issue, Telecom operators giving the fake commitment to customers for MNP and bond their nos. for 3 months.

I hope you take some neccessary steps, I am waiting for your good response.

        Thanks & Regards

        Complaint marked as Resolved

Airtel — Airtel - MNP Forgery

I have submitted my port in request to Tata Docomo from Airtel on 8th Feb 2011.

Today (11th Feb 2011) I got a message stating that my port in request got reject by my operator due to legal reasons.

I'm a prepaid user, I have deactivated all my services.
I am using my sim for more than a year.
        UPC Code : AT632171
        My mobile no. 9003***527

Take some steps and kick me out of Airtel ASAP.

        Tamil Selvan
Beware while porting to docomo, I ported 10 days back, the dealer is so complacent that he didnt get time to submit my form for last 15 days, due this my o/g is barred. i tried all possible options getting in touch and chasing retailer, dealer, cus care and docomo gallaries.
finally I realise he had several issue with MNP over 25 on hand MNP victims.

My understanding is : If things went fine Gods grace is with you. else you end up loosing your fancy age old number to a new operator who lacks any credibility basically all operators are same they love you vallet and find ways to loot as much as possible.

I dont know what happens to my 5 yr old number [protected].
but at the moment I lost hope after straining my self in running behind these guys.

I am planning to get new post pay number as cust care people will be alteast ready to hear.

FINALLY I had serious question in my mind "WHY OPERATORS OR TREATING MNP CUSTOMERS AS THIEFS AND TERRORIRSTS, WHEN THEY JUST PORTED HIS FANCY NUMBER FROM ONE OPERATOR TO ANOTHER, EVEN THOUGH CREDIBILITY IS ALREADY ESTABLISHED AT THE OTEHR END"

THESE NEW OPERATORS WHO ARE MORE CONCERNED IN BOLD ADVERTISING ARE MRERELY NOT BOTHERED ABOUT BASIC SREVICE QUALITY & COSTOMER FEELINGS. CUST. EXPECTATIONS IS LONG LONG WAY AHEAD.

On my Airtel # [protected] I get about 10-15 SMSs daily which are nothing but spam. These messages are not even from the same source that will help me to block the message as needed.
These kind of messages absolutely serve no purpose to the end user except to increase the frustration level throughout the day with incessant notifications on the cell phone.

            Some example of SMS sources: LM-LandM, LM-RedHat, TM-Annie, TD-Lucky, TD-Citywalk, DM-Cinthol.
These are just to name a few. The list will be endless if I have to mention all.

The situation has gotten worse with the receipt of "Class 0" messages last couple of days.
I even tried to address the situation by going to the Airtel office located @ Shivaji Park, Mumbai but the customer service personnel there just did not seem bothered with the issue and asked me to dial another phone number from the same office. What is the point of having a customer service office then, if such complaints are not addressed on the spot?

This kind of service by any company is not acceptable at any level.

              dear sir,

i have taken an Airtel sim card in my name in the month of jan-2011, and now its INCOMING & OUTGOING CALLS are barred, due to address verification
my mobile number is [protected]. so kindly do the needful.
my alternate mobile number is [protected].

many of my friends are facing same problem.

it is totally wrong that airtel people are recycling the sim cards, just because of wrong address verification and so many customers are facing problem and are loosing their currency balances and airtel is loosing its valuable customers. after de-activation no one will respond for the customers.

i hope my complaint will be resolved.

                  Dear Sir,

I am using Airtel broadband with phone from last 5-6 years but after FUP (Fair Usage Policy) they are regularly cheating and making customer compelled to choose higher plans so that they make more money even without giving them extra bandwidth.

I was using swift1099 with 512 kbps speed (Unlimited) and I was pretty happy using this plan but Airtel change this plan even without intimate me and my next plan was swift1099 with 1mbps speed up to 15 GB and 256 kbps beyond 15 GB. NOW my problem starts 15 GB was not enough and as per Airtel people 15 GB finished in just 10-15 days and afterthat as per the plan condition my speed downgrade to 256 kbps as per Airtel but its never cross 200 kbps.

After lot of complaints nobody visit my place nor rectify this problem so again I constrained to migrate my speed as well as bandwidth usage limit to plan namely impatience 1399 4 mbps speed up to 25 GB and 256 kbps beyond 25 GB. But unfortunately they still cheating by giving 1 mbps speed just increase bandwidth limit to 25 GB which is also not believable because this time 25 GB finished in only 10 days. I complaint to 121 and the executive assure me that my problem will be sort out next day up to 1:30pm. Problem is still continue and I again called them at 2:00 next day than executive told me that your speed problem resolve by our engineers I surprised, amazed and angry because nobody visit my place to check the problem nor anyone contact me over phone regarding this so everything was doing in the Air.

Actually Airtel knows that I will not leave their connection because I am also using landline phone no.[protected] with the broadband and this number spread everywhere among my foreign & national clients, relatives and friends.

I am paying money for 4mbps speed up to 25GB but useless and painful services I receive from them regularly, after several complaints regarding slow speed there engineer never visit to show the proper speed on my PC and amazingly one day on[protected] Airtel Engineer visit my office to check my broadband speed weather it is 4mbps or 1mbps he checked on single pc and found that speed was less than 128 kbps (14 kb/p.second transfer rate), he contacted to his back office and came to know that FUP (Fair usage policy) obtained yesterday i.e.[protected] than in the presence of that Engineer of Airtel I logged in online on my www.airtel.in account to check my bandwidth usage from[protected] to[protected] and found that I used 22.39 GB whereas my usage limit is 25 GB and to show that Airtel Engineer face looks like he caught red handedly and than his tricky mind starts like an artful devil and than he present his trick that after 80% usage your speed will be 256 kbps automatically. Whereas it is not mention anywhere in their advertisement leaflets and not in their website as well. He tried to convince me on wrong details but failed because I showed him proper details on their leaflets of tariff plans and their website in which they mentioned about speed and the bandwidth usage.

I myself feeling helpless and annoying due to Airtel tariff plans, their services, commitments and again decide to go for another costly connection and on [protected] I called to 121 and given request for plan migration from (Impatience 1399 = 4mbps upto 25 GB and 256 kbps beyond 25 GB) to Impatience 1699 = 2mbps upto 40 GB and 256 kbps beyond 40 GB) executive assure me that my new plan will work in next 5 working days maximum and minimum time is[protected] upto 3:30pm and they will also intimate me regarding the same.

My internet speed is very very worst only 4 to 10 Kbps transfer rate so I called to 121 on[protected] at 7:30pm and asked about my new plan than executive told me that you are using new plan Impatience 1699 from yesterday i.e.[protected]it is all happened without intimation and the speed is still worst) than I checked my usage and one interesting and shameful thing came in my notice that they changed my bandwidth usage details of[protected] to[protected] which was 22.39 GB and now it is wrongly mentioned here 2613680 units = 24.92 GB (It means they can access account usage details and they can change that) what should I say them Robber or what else.

I complaint about speed again and one executive call me and told me that your new plan will start tomorrow i.e.[protected] and than you will get a good speed of 2 mbps. On[protected] my plan changes as per the airtel executives but speed not as good as committed so I checked the speed two more days than complaint no.43583934 regarding worst speed on[protected] and executive assure me that my problem will resolve on[protected] before 6:24 pm but sorry to say that my speed problem not resolved and nobody visit my place just only few calls.

After all the above incidents I found that all the Airtel customer care, technical and field executives are a bunch of cleaver peoples and they are getting salary by making people fools.

Today at the time of writing this complaint my transfer rate on single PC is 96 KB per second transfer rate less than half speed as per my plan.

In anticipation of justice in this matter as early as possible.

                      Address: Bangalore, Karnataka

I requested MNP from my Airtel prepaid to vodafone on 21-02-11 and got unique porting number AX532459
Today I got an update from Airtel that my request dated 21 Feb 11 is rejected due to contractual obligation.
I have a Prepaid numbar and I dont know what obligation I have.
My mobile mumber is under my name and no body other than me is assoicated with my number.
From other consumer complaints seems that Airtel is using same trick to reject MNP request for prepaid connections.

When i contacted the customer care of Airtel asking the reason for rejection, they told that Some document i have submitted to my new service provider(Vodafone) is not complete.but he is not aware what is incomplete.
I had a word with the people in the vodafone store, and they are telling that what all document i have submitted to them is complete.

For the past few days i have been receiving some phone calls from airtel CustomerCare asking why i am porting and things like that, one of the customer person even threated me with other consequences that they may block my number if i port out of airtel.

I also tried registering a complaint againt this, to which the airtel customer care did not say anything and disconnected the call.

Then i raised a written complaint to [protected]@airtelindia.com and [protected]@Airtel.in.. to which Some Mr manoj responded saying that he will look into the case.

Today i got a call from Mr. manoj that Airtel has received a request from my end ,'that i do not want to port out and i want to cancel my request'.. But i have not done anything like that.He now ask me to refill the porting form with vodafone and apply again for the porting code. i.e. redo the complete porting procedure again.

This is highly unethical on Airtel's part and i am really feeling sad why in the first place i had opted for airtel 3 years ago.

Would not advice any or my friend

                      Regards,

Mine is exactly the same problem...
Mine is same problem in Reverse, i applied for Porting out of Vodafone to Airtel and inspite of 2 Months Wait Period and about 8 Complaints and 5 Port out request with 15 Email Escalations nothing been Done.

Govt. as usual have not defined "Contractual Obligation" and all telco operators are taking Advantage of the System. I also received this message atleast 8 times to which i asked justifications and proof ... no one yet given me.

I mailed all the TRAI Officers including the Legal Advisor Shri Harsh Bardhan, Pr Advisor(Legal) ([protected]@trai.gov.in), to which it seems once i got this call from the affiliate for Vodafone and they told me that they have resolved the matter.

But in simple common man perspective each telco wants to retain customer and the way of keeping them at bay is specifying the "contractual obligations" to which govt. has not defined any standards.

Govt. in spite of all the 2G Scam shame to the nation have kept loop holes that we as customers and tax payers have to bear.

But i receive a message from TATA Docomo that AIRTEL mobile operator reject your porting . Then i went to the head office of AIRTEL (Dharmpeth area, nagpur) to know what is the problelm , they told me that there is no prob from AIRTEL side you have to contact TATA Docomo they havent complete the processes of porting ,so i again go to TATA Docomo office (civil lines, above icici bank Nagpur, Maharashtra). so they show me that AIRTEL had rejected my porting request so we can't help you in this. Then i again go to AIRTEL office and they again told me that thats not our resposibility they are simply delaying my complaint saying somany lies. from last 10,12 days they kicking me like footboll from AIRTEL office to TATA Docomo office but no onc can tell me the exact ptoblem. Transmission Towers — Health hazards caused by transmission towers.

                                  Sir/Madam,

I live in Shalimar Bagh, and I am concerned about the transmission towers installed in my neighbourhood. There are two transmission towers and as you are aware of the health hazards caused by the radiations emitted from the towers I want you to do something about this. These radiations are more harmful than the pollution caused by vehicles and can cause several life threatening diseases. Everybody has right to live healthy and our health should not be in the hands of few selfish people and mncs. Please do something about this.

I am certain that you will help me in sorting this problem.

                                  Thanks
we are also facing a similar problem at Bangalore. But i don't know where to seek help. These companies are powerful - both financially and politically. They can change any law with these strengths.
Mr.Ravi please let me know which G.O states the "no cell tower is to be located in the residential colony" .?

Airtel Cell Tower — cell tower at low level ( below 15 meters )

request please take the necessary action on the cell tower,

cell tower is at low level which causing health problems and the tower is below 15 meters height....which i think against the norms. most of the children's play on the building, they are effected.

first there was only air tell cell tower but now in the same building more then 3 networks are working.

                                  please take the necessary action

Airtel — Complaint against Cell Tower

                                  Sir,

I would like to give a complaint regarding an Airtel tower in an area which in right in the middle of a residential colony and beside to my apartment Veera's Arcade. and the antenna's are facing towards my flat.

The tower is located in Rajadhani Co-operative Housing Society,Near Kalyan theatre,Old Bowenpally, Hyderabad,Andhra Pradesh - 500011.

On the south side there is a 5 storey apartment Thirumala Residency, which also will be in the main beam and 30 metres away.
There are also many play schools for very small children in this residential locality.

Around 30 families staying in it. There are lots of small children in the apartment. The fourth and fifth floors are in the main beam.
Recently it has come in the newspapers that cell towers are not to be installed near schools, play grounds or in residential areas.

And having the tower so near is a very serious health hazard for all the residents and am seriously worried for the health of my family, the other families in my apartment and the school kids.

I request you to kindly shift the tower from the present location and move it far away from the residential area.

Am attaching the layout from google maps.

I am sure that Airtel will resolve this issue immediately with a high priority.

                                  Regards

then how do our cellular phones work?
                                  Cellular Phone Towers
Cellular (cell) phones first became widely available in the United States in the 1990s, but their use has increased dramatically since then. The widespread use of cell phones has led to the placement of cell phone towers in many communities. These towers, also called base stations, consist of electronic equipment and antennas that receive and transmit radiofrequency (RF) signals.
How do cellular phone towers work?
Cell phone base stations may be free standing towers or mounted on existing structures, such as trees, water tanks, or tall buildings. The antennas need to be located high enough so they can adequately cover the area. Base stations usually range in height from 50-200 feet.
Cell phones communicate with nearby cell towers mainly through radiofrequency (RF) waves, a form of energy in the electromagnetic spectrum between FM radio waves and microwaves. Like FM radio waves, microwaves, visible light, and heat, they are forms of non-ionizing radiation. This means they cannot cause cancer by directly damaging DNA. RF waves are different from stronger types of radiation such as x-rays, gamma rays, and ultraviolet (UV) light, which can break the chemical bonds in DNA.
At very high levels, RF waves can heat up body tissues. (This is the basis for how microwave ovens work.) But the levels of energy used by cell phones and towers are much lower.
When a person makes a cell phone call, a signal is sent from the phone's antenna to the nearest base station antenna. The base station responds to this signal by assigning it an available radiofrequency channel. RF waves transfer the voice information to the base station. The voice signals are then sent to a switching center, which transfers the call to its destination. Voice signals are then relayed back and forth during the call.
How are people exposed to the energy from cellular phone towers?
As people use cell phones to make calls, signals are transmitted back and forth to the base station. The RF waves produced at the base station are given off into the environment, where people can be exposed to them.
The energy from a cellular phone tower antenna, like that of other telecommunication antennas, is directed toward the horizon (parallel to the ground), with some downward scatter. Base station antennas use higher power levels than other types of land-mobile antennas, but much lower levels than those from radio and television broadcast stations. The amount of energy decreases rapidly with increasing distance from the antenna. As a result, the level of exposure to radio waves at ground level is very low compared to the level close to the antenna.
Public exposure to radio waves from cell phone tower antennas is slight for several reasons. The power levels are relatively low, the antennas are mounted at high above ground level, and the signals are transmitted intermittently, rather than constantly.
At ground level near typical cellular base stations, the amount of RF energy is thousands of times less than the limits for safe exposure set by the Federal Communication Commission (FCC) and other regulatory authorities. It is very unlikely that a person could be exposed to RF levels in excess of these limits just by being near a cell phone tower.
When cellular antennas are mounted on rooftops, it is possible that a person on the roof could be exposed to RF levels greater than those typically encountered on the ground. But even then, exposure levels approaching or exceeding the FCC safety guidelines are only likely to be found very close to and directly in front of the antennas. If this is the case, access to these areas should be limited.
The level of RF energy inside buildings where a base station is mounted is typically much lower than the level outside depending on the construction materials of the building. Wood or cement block reduces the exposure level of RF radiation by a factor of about 10. The energy level behind an antenna is hundreds to thousands of times lower than in front. Therefore, if an antenna is mounted on the side of a building, the exposure level in the room directly behind the wall is typically well below the recommended exposure limits.
Do cellular phone towers cause cancer?
Some people have expressed concern that living, working, or going to school near a cell phone tower might increase the risk of cancer or other health problems. At this time, there is very little evidence to support this idea. In theory, there are some important points that would argue against cellular phone towers being able to cause cancer.
First, the energy level of radiofrequency (RF) waves is relatively low, especially when compared with the types of radiation that are known to increase cancer risk, such as gamma rays, x-rays, and ultraviolet (UV) light. The energy of RF waves given off by cell phone towers is not enough to break chemical bonds in DNA molecules, which is how these stronger forms of radiation may lead to cancer.
A second issue has to do with wavelength. RF waves have long wavelengths, which can only be concentrated to about an inch or two in size. This makes it unlikely that the energy from RF waves could be concentrated enough to affect individual cells in the body.
Third, even if RF waves were somehow able to affect cells in the body at higher doses, the level of RF waves present at ground level is very low -- well below the recommended limits. Levels of energy from RF waves near cell phone towers are not significantly different than the background levels of RF radiation in urban areas from other sources, such as radio and television broadcast stations.
For these reasons, most scientists agree that cell phone antennas or towers are unlikely to cause cancer.
                                  Studies in people
Very few human studies have focused specifically on cellular phone towers and cancer risk. In the largest study published to date, British researchers compared a group of more than 1, 000 families of young children with cancer against a similar group of families of children without cancer. They found no link between a mother's exposure to the towers during pregnancy (based on the distance from the home to the nearest tower and on the amount of energy given off by nearby towers) and the risk of early childhood cancer.
The amount of exposure from living near a cell phone tower is typically many times lower than the exposure from using a cell phone. About 30 studies have looked at possible links between cell phone use and tumors in people. Most studies to date have not found a link between cell phone use and the development of tumors, although these studies have had some important limitations. This is an area of active research. For more information, see the document, Cellular Phones.
                                  Studies done in the lab
Laboratory studies have looked at whether the types of RF waves used in cell phone communication can cause DNA damage. Most of these studies have supported the idea that the RF waves given off by cell phones and towers don't have enough energy to damage DNA directly.
Some scientists have reported that the RF waves may produce other effects in human cells (in lab dishes) that might possibly help tumors grow. However, these studies have not been verified. Several studies in rats and mice have looked at whether RF energy might promote the development of tumors caused by other known carcinogens (cancer-causing agents). These studies did not find evidence of tumor promotion. Research in this area continues.
                                  What expert agencies say
The 3 expert agencies that usually classify cancer-causing exposures (carcinogens) -- the International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC), the National Toxicology Program (NTP), and the US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) -- have not classified cell phone towers as to their cancer-causing potential.
According to the World Health Organization:
Considering the very low exposure levels and research results collected to date, there is no convincing scientific evidence that the weak RF signals from base stations and wireless networks cause adverse health effects.
In commenting on cell phone towers near homes or schools, the Federal Communications Commission states:
Radiofrequency emissions from antennas used for cellular and PCS [personal communications service] transmissions result in exposure levels on the ground that are typically thousands of times below safety limits. These safety limits were adopted by the FCC based on the recommendations of expert organizations and endorsed by agencies of the Federal Government responsible for health and safety. Therefore, there is no reason to believe that such towers could constitute a potential health hazard to nearby residents or students.
Do cellular phone towers cause any other health problems?
While high levels of RF waves can cause a warming of body tissues, the energy levels on the ground near a cell phone tower are far below the levels needed to cause this effect. Thus far, there is no evidence in published scientific reports that cell phone towers cause any other health problems.
                                  Can I limit my exposure?
Cell phone towers are not known to cause any health effects. But if you are concerned about possible exposure from a cell phone tower near your home or office, you can ask a government agency or private firm to measure the RF field strength near the tower to ensure that it is within the acceptable range.
What should I do if I've been exposed to cellular phone towers?
There is no test to measure whether you have been exposed to RF radiation from cellular phone towers. But as noted above, most researchers and regulatory authorities do not believe that cell phone towers pose health risks under ordinary conditions. If you have additional health concerns, please consult your doctor.

There should be a chance for getting to know for how much data used of the 2 GB

Hi, I ported 3 numbers to airtel, 2 from vodafone & 1 from aircel. I got a message stating my porting is successful few days after submitting the request & my new sim was activated & working fine for a week. Suddenly my line got disconnected. On contacting airtel, i was told that it was successfully ported from airtel side but vodafone has still not disconnected the line. On contacting vodafone, they have mailed us saying vodafone has ported successfully & hence we received that message stating "your porting is successful". Now airtel does not care to respond to our mails regarding this. I live abroad & i am unable to contact the customer care even. Not sure what to do.

I am pizzed of with the airtel service!!

You know what my problem is. They ported to airtel from docomo. But I do not receive any messages/calls from any docomo numbers plus any other service(other than airtel) take s ages to contact me now. Plus now after 3 weeks they say the documents I submitted are not valid.I went to nearest airtel relationship center, they say photograph in passport copy is not clear, I being a student have constraints of not having original passport with me. This is not it, I tried talking to customer care, I called at 121 and 198 but they dont have an option to customer care representative there so I called from the airtel relationship center. First someone talked then she transferred to her supervisor and then she again transferred to her supervisor, and this supervisor puts the call on hold while I am speaking.
Third class service, I will never in my life get any service offerred by airtel and would suggest anyone who reads this, prepare yourself to go through hell i[censored] take up anything from airtel.
Horrible service, no respect for customer, No satisfaction.

                                        Dear Sir/Madam,

I have done a airtel recharge from a retailer for amount Rs.444(which is shown in airtel online recharge as full talktime with no validity).

When recharging i was in Maharashtra and recharging Tamilnadu SIM and will be in roaming for next few months.

I got a message that Rs 1 is added to my regular account and Rs 444 is added to some dedicated account. But while roaming i not able to use this dedicated account.

To use this amount, please transfer the same to regular account so that i can use this while roaming.

                                        Details of transaction given below.
                                        Mobile No : [protected]
