Hi

I am Kumar Kunal i have Airtel prepaid service my number is [protected]. I got Blackberry handset and i need to activate blackberry enterprises service on my handset but every time i called customer care service they put me on hold for 7-8 min and after that call were being disconnected.Even though you charge for customer care services,your service is so abysmal.I used to have very good image of Airtel but it is no any more.

    I Sandeep Kumar Bought an airtel Prepaid Sim i.e.[protected] about 10 months back from patna after submitting all relevant documents. About 15 days back my sim outgoing and incoming was barred. When i contacted two distributor point in manpur, gaya then they said talk to customer care and they will solve the problem. We are not responsible and can not help. After numerous attempt no one gave any satisfactory answer and said your number has been deleted where as i was using it in every days life.
    Kindly help to get the number back as it has been widely known by the people.

    Airtel/ Prepaid connection — Talk time deducted on praid recharge

    Dear Sir

    I am having prepaid connection in the name of Ashok Gupta having connection no. [protected] and I have recharged the phone with talk time of Rs 400/- on 15th June 2008.

    Today I have checked the balance and Rs 100/- has been deducted without any intimation to me.

    Earlier also similar instances had happened and i reported the matter to the company and they have told that some Value added services has been activated . I have strongly opposed to this act without any confirmation from my side and requested the company to deactivate the same but behaviour of the company is not positive till now.

    Request you to kindly help me to come over such harrassment from the company and unilaterlly move of charging value added services

      I AM USING AIRTEL PREPAID NUMBER.
      COMPNY ALWAYS DEDUCT MONEY BY SENDING MSG THA YOU ARE GETING FREE OF COST AS A TRAIL.BUT THEY ARE CHARGING AMOUNT FOR THIS
      I HAVE COMPLIANT SEVERAL TIMES TO THIS REGARD BUT NOTHING ACTION HAS BEEN TAKEN.

      WHEN I WAS IN ROAMING THEY SETED A CRICKET SCORE UPDATE WITHIUT MY PERMISSION AND CHARGING AMOUNT FOR THIS .
      I COULD NOT CALL EVEN ON CUSTOMER SERVICE BECAUSE OF ROAMING.

      AND THEY DEDUT MY AMOUNT TILL MINUS BALANCE .
      EVEN THEY ARE CHARGING IN MINUS BALANCE BEFORE SOME DAYS I HAD 50RS IN MY ACCOUNT BUT I HAVE NOT MADE ANY CALL AND THEY DEDCUT MY WHOLE AMOUNT 3RS PER DAYS WITHOUT ANY REASON.
      I WANT PROPER EXPLANATION OF THIS.

      I have received a sms i.e. thank you for registering . you have been charged Rs.15/- for Sherry Mann event. call505052 at Rs.2/min on 22nd Jan at 4PM onwards T&C call 505059(tol free)sender 50505 messege centre [protected] on 22 Jan 2011 at 02.02.27 pm. In spite of the fact that I have neither subscribed for the above said service nor I want to subscrib of the above said service. So you a requesed to look into the matter and refund my amount of Rs.15/- deducted on 22.01.2011 on account of above Sheery Mann event.         main ne lagbhag 5 months se airtel ka 98/-apne nokia c3 per net plan activate kia hooa hi . her mahine me date khatm hone ke pehle muje sms aata tha . due date per mere talktime se 98/- kat jata tha . abhi mera plan 7-1-11 ko smapt hua per koi sms nahi aaya aur na hi muje blance mila . maine 8-1-11 ko 98/- ka voucher alg se dalwa liya tabhi mere talk time se bhi 98/- kat gaya. es tarh mere paas 4096.09 MB blance aa gaya per tab se net chal hi nahi raha hi. servic fail ka massage milta hi '' contact ur service provide' massge aata hi. airtel ke no 12118 per kai baar baat karne ke baad bhi net use nahi kar paa raha hoon. 12118 per her baar naye person se baat hoti hi aur wo setting chk karta hi tamaam qustion karne ke baad muje ttaal diya jata hi . 9-1-11 ko muje kaha gaya ki 14-1-11 tak thik ho jayega aapko callback ki jayegi per 14-1-11 ko baat karne per phir se 4 hours baad callback ki baat kahi gai 4 hours ke baad 6-pm ka samye dia gaya phir 15-1-11 ko 12 pm ka samye dia gaya ab kaha ja rha hi ki 48 hours ke baad call back hoga . main ne 8-1-11 se 120/- ki baat 12118 per ki hi . jetne tarh ki setting sms kahe wo bhi kia hi per net nahi chal raha hi. mere phone me plan 98/- hi jiska samye pura hoone per phir se 98/- kat jayega .

        Hi, Myself Karan Sharma and my mobile no is [protected]. I am using 98 Rs monthly internet plan in Jan last week. I can access internet on my mobile. But I can't access internet on my laptop from this date. I called multiple time to customer care and 12118, but still not access it. Why I am paying 98 Rs. Hope for a immediate response from your side.

          Airtel are thief people please dont take airtel sim. Last month I have taken a sim and get it recharged with Rs 250 also I submitted all the docs. But todays back they called and ask to submit the docs again but when today I went to submit the docs they are saying tht ur number is deactivated and u lost ur balance(Rs 189)

            I am a subscriber of Airtel broadband and Landline and have been facing excess charge issues in my bill for past three months. Every month I am assured by the customer care exec that action will be taken and I am slapped with a new charge in the next bill.

            My purpose of filing this complaint is to inform the innocent about how these big companies play with our money. I would request everyone to subscribe to paper bills only and check them properly before paying them.

            In the bill dated 9 Nov 2010 I noticed an added charge of 85 Rs referred to as DSL usage charge. Called customer care and spoke to Ankur he said that this amount will be reversed in the next bill. (Complaint ticket no[protected]

            Did not receive the bill next month. On confirming with customer care exec Anurag came to know that the DSL charge was not reversed and the same was added in the bill for that month. (Complaint ticket no[protected]. He said that I could pay the bill by deducting the DSL charge for this month and the previous month that is Rs 170 . Hence I paid Rs 1127 (after deducting Rs 170 from Rs 1297)

            In the bill dated 10 Jan 2011 was slapped with a late fee charge of Rs 50 for non payment of Rs 170 in the previous month bill. What is this non sense??? Was told by airtel customer care exec Deepak (complaint ticket no[protected] to pay Rs 50 less and not to pay Rs 170 in the current payment.

            I do not know for how many more months I have to call airtel customer care after I receive the bill every month. And what is the guarantee that I will not be slapped with late payment fee in the coming month again. All Airtel customer care people do is issue a new complaint ticket every month without actually solving the complaint. Really tired of Airtel and this bill nonsense every month.

            Anyone reading this please check your bill properly before paying it. And do not take Ebills cause you seldom check them, get paper bills only. If you want to save trees then recycle paper.

            Airtel broadband & landline — excess billing

            Domestic connection placed in commercial segment without my knowledge. Excess billing revealed this fact after couple of months as bill does not show the segment but call center told clearly.
            Despite complaint to tribunal forced me to make payment.
            I opted for withdrawal of broadband but continued telephone.
            Again after two months excess billing forced me to surrender the landline connection too.
            Airtel Chennai is so poor in customer handling that harass the customer. Ref. tel no.[protected]

            Airtel is very good in cheating customers. I am facing billing related issue.
            Airtel had voluntarily changed by Landline/Broadband plan and not even sent printed/soft copy of the Bills. I paid for 4 months the excess charges than I opted. Finally on 5th Month when contacted Airtel Bangalore @ 121, they said they will wavier for all of it and at least i spoke with 20 executives of Airtel and tonnes of email since 4 months. But, no reply. Landline/Broadband is inactive since 2 months and causing lot of inconvenience. Airtel need to pay me back the excess I paid, but instead Airtel is asking me to pay the bills for the months I have not used. There is no itemised billing in any of the recent bill sent since 2 months. Airtel is had become purely Customer Cheating company and causing lot of incovenience to Customer. And on top of it, Bill recovery team will be giving Threatening call.

                I have a complaint about very slow GPRS Network in my area "Milkipur Faizabad UP (East)" All the areas near my village are equipped with EDGE network even jungles (Forests) where there is no one to use this service even here in my village every other network companies are providing EDGE network. But I don't want to leave airtel because I'm very old subscriber of airtel. but now since TRAI has given us the option to use MNP service (Mobile Number Portability). So now i'm willing to switch to any other mobile operator which can provide me the EDGE network. but I'll wait for some time if they (Airtel) assure me to do something in this direction.                   I have been struggling for one week with AIRTEL Customer Care number 121 to get PUK2 code for my cellphone which got locked out. I have been told that the same cannot be done over the phone. I need to visit an Airtel service centre with my address proof and cell phone to obtain this code. When the customer care is asked to connect to the Customer Care Manager, invariably the phone gets disconnected after I am asked to hold. Twice the phone didn't get disconnected but the Customer Care Executive comes back on the line and says that the Manager is not available. All this can be seen from 121. One time the executive gave me the address of the nearest Airtel service centre for which I travelled over five kilometres, only to find that the centre was closed over a month's back.

                  IT ONLY GOES ON TO SHOW HOW "USER-FRIENDLY" AIRTEL CUSOTMER CARE REALLY IS. The website does not offer any escalation matrix so that the hapless customer cannot simply get any redressal. TRULY WORLD CLASS SERVICE INDEED.

                  Airtel — non redressal of complaint

                  despite trying to address complaints for network related issues at airtel mobile there is no complaint redressal system. poorest of network service in south delhi. advice is soughtt. my no. is [protected].
                  My prepaid number [protected] (Maharashtra circle ) is blocked when I had been USA for three months though I sufficient balance in the account. and returned back last week of september.It was a post paid number till May 12 and earned Airtel lakhs of Rs over a decade.I left enough balance in the phone. I request that number be restored, and I am prepared to pay penalty, if any.and it is a number of heavy usage.

                    i was using airtel prepaid services on my no [protected] which was in name swapnil juneja from 2009.from the month nov2010 to dec 2010 i was out of country and they closed my no .after comming back ,i contected the airtel people they stated that the no was closed for a month,so it has been closed and now they asking to buy new no and pay premium for this no again as it was charged for life time ,how it is possible if the person is not using phone for month it will closed by the operter.the are doing this becuase of premium no to get premuim again i suppose. pl help me .my email id is [protected]@gmail.com and my alternative no is [protected].

                        It is very shame on bharthi airtel bill recovery team that they use very abusive words not matter what the gender is.This is regarding my old number [protected] which was lost and i have a complaint logged with police.Out of no courtesy they have messaged all my friends saying am a "fraud".This an immense hurt to the individuals respect in the society.They would have met me but sending message to unknown people thinking that they will be our friend is a big shame on them.we told them that we are going pay it by feb 1st instead of telling that they miss behaved it.can i question how can i get back the trust from people of being named by them as FRAUD!!!!!!!!!!!!! isnt it a very big word to be used??

                        can you please do the needful.

                          My name is Sudhir. This complaint is regarding Bharti Airtel Ltd, who's collection agent is calling me repeatedly in order to collect the outstanding amount of 1800/- which is due on the name of Ms. Sneha Kumari ([protected], New Delhi, Number no longer valid).

                          I am based out of Bangalore and the named lady was just a friend of mine and I am now totally disconnected with her. Now Airtel collection agents are taking my and some of my friends number from her last call statement, calling and asking for the money. I asked and requested them to call and recover money from Sneha only bacause the outstanding is on her name.

                          Even though they are calling and threatening me to pay the amount on the behalf of Sneha. I said them since I have not used the number and I am also not from the city from where this number belongs to, so I will not pay the amount.
                          Now they are using filthy language and calling me every day. Please suggest shall I go to Police to lodge the complaint or, consumer court?

                          Numbers being used to threaten me by Airtel recovery agent - [protected], [protected](Suresh & Sujal),[protected].

                          Please help me out to solve the issue,

                          Refer my email given to nodal officer.[protected]@airtel.in on 26.02.2011 wherein I have complaint regarding de-activation of my Airtel mobile No.[protected], in spite of furnishing documents and photographs in 3 times.

                          Thanks for the response though a belated one. On 03.03.2011 about 17.00 hrs one Pradeep Kumar, an Airtel official from Delhi called me from mobile no. [protected] and informed me that he will solve my complaints. After making some number of calls to my other mobile, he informed me that, my SIM card has been damaged and to go to nearby Airtel outlet for getting a fresh SIM card by simply producing copy of ID proof. Accordingly I visited Airtel outlet located at Trichy cantonment where they said they cannot issue fresh SIM card as the original SIM card issued at Chennai and asked me to go to another Airtel outlet located at Thillai Nagar, Trichy. Travelling another 4 km's I reached Airtel showroom at Thillai Nagar where I have been advices to furnish two more application forms with documents and photograph. Virtually I am disappointed to realize that I have to start from square one again, indeed I am disappointed for getting harassed by making me to run from pillar to post for no fault of mine.

                          Attracted by big exposure and expecting wonderful service it is rather frustrating to find that the customers are made to suffer at the wimps and fancy of the customer care executives. Arrange to either activate the connection or arrange to return back the documents I submitted so far.

                            I am Prakash Bhat, with Airtel Mobile No. [protected] prepaid connection.
                            On 14.01.2011, I observed that an amount of Rs30/- is deducted from the balance, by Airtel apparently for no reason as I had neither requested nor activated any of their services,
                            I contacted customer care no.198 and spoke with one M/s Jayashree. Informed her of the position, enquired why Rs.30/- is deducted and asked her to recredit the amount.
                            Rs30/- was recredited to my prepaid balance and I thought the matter is settled.
                            But to my great astonishment, on 15.01.2011, I found that, Rs.30/- is again debited and balance reduced.
                            Again I called no.198 and spoke with one Mr. Maruthi. Again I nerrated to him that, inspite of my not requesting, not activating and not using any service, Rs.30/- is deducted from the balance. He agreed to recredit the amount and Rs 30/- was credited immediately.
                            My complaint no. was given as CJKWC[protected].
                            But the matter didn't end there. Again Rs.30/- was deducted on 16.01.2011.
                            I called 198 and spoke with Ms Vinutha and explained the problem and requested her to see to it that, the nuisance is ended. She connected me to the Manager Mr.Mallikarjun and again I had to state the facts and events to him. He said as the problem is repeating itself, it may be due to some technical fault, as I had not used any service. And so he would forward my complaint to his higher authorities. He assured me that, my complaint will be redressed before 18.01.2011.
                            I was given the complaint ref. no.COVWC[protected]. But till now i.e. 20.01.2011, neither I was contacted by Airtel nor my prepaid balance restored.
                            On 16.01.2011, I received a message from Airtel: 'Thanks for using internet on mobile.....blah, blah, blah ! ' Immediately I called 198 and one Mr. Lokesh spoke with me. On enquiry, he perused my Account and confirmed that, no service is activated on my Cell. number and hence, no charges would be levied.
                            My complaint no. was given as CBDPA[protected].
                            On 19.01.2011, I called 198 and one Mr.Manjunath, came on line. I asked him to connect me to Mr.Mallikarjun, the Manager. He said it is not possible and I can tell him the problem. Okay ! Again I told him the chain of events. He promised me that,
                            within two hours his higher authorities would speak with me. I waited for more than three and a half hours and called 198 again. Tried several times but no one is coming on line. Only some pre-recorded messages on services are played. Till yesterday at option 4 on No.198 some person would come on line and speak. Now only a recorded message is played. And it thanks me for contacting Airtel and disconnects the line. Today, on 20.01.2011, again I tried to contact some person in customer care no.198. But the same thing is repeated. Other than some irrelevant recorded messages nothing is available to the customer.
                            Went to the website of Airtel and located the Helpline No. 44444121. When dialled, it says it is not a valid number !
                            What do you make out of all this ? That Airtel doesn't have any accountability ?
                            Hoping for early redressal of my complaint, recredit of the amount wrongfully deducted from my account and non-repetition of such harassment.

                            AirTel — Wrongful Deduction of Charges

                            Airtel has wrongfully deducted massive amounts from my Bank Account for two months. From my personal experience , allowing your Mobile Company to directly deduct bills from your Bank Account is not a wise choice. Jeevan Prakash Gathoo

                            Airtel Prepaid — Wrongful deduction

                            Dear Sir,

                            I am a subscriber of Airtel Prepaid Mobile No. [protected].

                            Firstly, on two occasion the airtel service provider has wrongfully deducted Rs 200/- from my balance. I have not subscribed for any services. The first occasion was about two months back in month of Mar 2010 and second on 25 May 2010. Suddenly my bamlance got reduced by Rs 200/-

                            Also i have not subscribed for the Taratscope but i do get a Tarat Card reading SMS everyday and the charges for the same are being deducted.

                            The following are requested

                            1. The amount of Rs 400/- be credited in my cell account on wrongful deduction

                            2. The Tarat Card SMS service be stopped immediately.

                                Airtel’s new business of Swapping numbers while using and selling those numbers to others for money by throwing all telecom rules and regulations.

                                I have been using the post paid mobile number [protected] for the last 5 years

                                I have converted from post to prepaid scheme in 1st week of August, 2010.

                                In the last week of October: One person has forged my documents (Address proofs, personal details, etc) and taken the connection ([protected]) in my name and misused it. I suspect Airtel agents have helped to reveal my personal details to the person who has taken new connection otherwise its not possible to get my details whom I never know.

                                I gave the complaint to Airtel customer care regarding these irregularities on 16, 17th November 2010. Airtel customer care people have agreed that there were irregularities and Airtel has issued me a duplicate SIM on 17th November 2010 and it was activated and I started using it.

                                After 2-3 days again while using the number only was getting "Invalid SIM" message and I was not able to call/receive any phone calls from the number [protected]. This time also the other user given my private details to Airtel customer care and taken the connection in my name. I gave the complaint to Airtel customer care and taken my connection back by updating my SIM number with them and I warned them not to give my connection to anybody without verifying details. Airtel customer care agreed for that.

                                Again December 5th around Airtel people swapped my number and given to other person. I called the Airtel customer and said block the number immediately as I am travelling abroad and I will be back in 15 days and once I return I will take the connection back again. Airtel customer care said ok sir we will block the number and will not give to anybody.

                                I came back and gave complaint on December 27th to customer care. By that time Airtel customer did not block my number instead they gave connection to other user and changed the name also this time.

                                On 27th December 2010, I called more than 10 times. Even though there is no proper response from the customer care. I talked to customer care supervisor and informed about my concerns. They promised me to resolve in 24 hours and wait till then and get back to me with details. But no response from either Airtel customer care or Airtel customer care supervisor.

                                I called Airtel Nodal officer on 10th Jan 2011 and gave the complaint. They started investigating the case. They dragged 10days but it was not fruit full. As my interactions with them they did not investigate properly and they don’t know how to investigate also, they don’t know rules and regulations also. They did not have answers to my questions. They were showing carelessness in investigations. I spent lots of time daily calling to nodal office and forced them to do investigate fast.

                                I called Appellate Authority on 19th and gave the complaint regarding swapping my connection while using and given to other person. They said please give 2days time and will be resolved the issue soon.

                                I called Appellate Authority on 20th also and said your nodal office has failed to resolve my complaint and I am not satisfied with their responses and their investigation results are contradicting the complaints what I gave through customer care. I suspect Airtel people have modified the complaint statements and I suspect that Airtel is directly involved in selling fancy numbers (like my number) for money.

                                As I have been using this [protected] phone number for more than 5 years. My all bank details, private informations will go to that number. I called many times to Airtel customer care and every time I called asked them to block the number first and start investigations because that new person is misusing my number. But Airtel never blocked that number till now and just trying to escape from the problem.

                                In all the levels of Airtel customer care support and nodal office contains just junk people. They are not caring the customers at all.

                                Since I am the original user. I have to get my connection back immediately and Airtel has to take serious action to those involved in this irregular activities.

                                  This is related to incident happenned at ANDHRA BANK ATM AT SUMITHRA NAGAR where i got mobile recharge for the number [protected] around 12.06 PM for a amount of Rs.90.00 and i got a transaction ID[protected] dated 22/12/2010 and time 1.43pm saying recharge not successful. Till today i have been calling Airtel Customer service but i have never got a solution . I was able to get complaint nos till date and they are CANRC[protected] AND CANRC [protected] but not my amt back and amt back thing i am hearing only in words not practically from customer service people so i request to plz resolve the issue and credit my amy back.                                     I lost my mobile on Jan19,2011.
                                    I made a FIR in Malad Station and then went to the Airtel outlet (in Peninsula Lower Parel west near my office). The have issued me a new sim with the same number but when I asked them to put my stolen mobile's IMEI in the blacklisted handsets database(so that the mobile become useless for the thief), they told me to go on Nokia shop. However Nokia and all other are saying that it's the service provider who can do it as they use a shared database of handsets of stolen categories.

                                    I want my stolen mobile blocked so that someone else can't use it.

                                      Dear Airtel team,

                                      Prior to my purchase of a property in Maranallor village near Thiruvananthapuram in Kerala (Land bearing Resurvey No 128/12 – Old survey No 241/1 of Maranallor village) Airtel had installed a tower referred to as “ID KAND01” in the property. On enquiry with the village office it has also been learnt that the construction is not sanctioned by the relevant authorities.

                                      Since I intend to have the property developed, I request you to have the tower removed immediately. My person in Kerala has been trying to coordinate this requirement but has not been getting any response from Airtel. Please note a delay from your end to initiate removal of the said tower directly affects the process of development and would cause undue financial loss to me.

                                        i jst now received a call from a numebr +381 i was shcoked to see the number but i though it would be a call frm airtel customer care
                                        help me out coz whn i received the call no one was there to reply me nd andter 2-3 secs call got dissconnected
                                        now what should i do?
                                        technically i knw tht is possible but am i required to file an complaint in this case ?
