Hello ...,
I have an Airtel Prepaid sim with mobile No: [protected]... My outgoing calls were stopped on 14'thDec, saying that Documents were not submitted. I have submitted my documents around 6 times from 4'th Dec onwards. But there is no proper action from their side & today my incoming also stopped.
Actually I was a postpaid customer till 4'th Dec. Being a post paid customer I submitted my documents (Ration card & BSNL land line bill) in Oct, they accepted the docs immediately.

Later on 4'th Dec, I converted to pre-paid & submitted the same docs. I got a SMS on 13'th Dec and they stopped outgoing on 14'thDec.
From 15'th Dec I have submitted my docs 4 time, details given below:
1) Date :[protected] Application No: OMR No 3186631 at Nutec Airtel relations AS Rao Nagar.
2) Date :[protected] Application No: AP[protected] at Nutec Airtel relations AS Rao Nagar.
3) Date :[protected] Application No: AP[protected] at Airtel head office splendid towers Bagumpet.
4) Date :[protected] Application No: AP[protected] at Airtel head office splendid towers Bagumpet.

on 21'st Dec I received SMS saying that " we have received an incomplete prepaid application from you. Please submit a new application with complete details & supporting documents at nearest Airtel shop".

I submitted the prepaid application also ....No use...My incoming also stopped.

Please let me know How to proceed further?? What can I do now??

    The concerned Airtel Officer Incharge,

    My Mobile number is [protected].
    I am getting SMS to submit the documents related to the connection that i took almost 4 years back and i rememeber submitting all the required documents while taking the connection at that time only.

    When i called your customer care in this regard to let me know which document that i submitted was not complete they had no answers.

    And adding to that you guys are telling that submit it by this time otherwise your services would be barred.

    This is your responsibilty to keep all the documents intact and if anything is incomplete then you must tell at the time of providing the connection itself.

    You are just harrassing your customers and this is not the professional way.
    A person who is bsuy all week days from morning to night, how will he get the time to resubmit the documents and that too becuase of your faults.

    If my services are going to get barred then let it be as i am not intersted in using the services provided by such compaines who cannot even manage their documents and find different ways of harrassing their valued customers.

    Hello, I am a airtel mobile consumer for last 1+ years (Mobile # [protected]). Recently I got sms and call as well regarding resubmission of the documents and provided time span is very minimal. After getting in touch with customer care I came to know that the required documents has to be submitted on a particular location which is far away from my place. I do understand that it is government norm and airtel has to follow it but how they expect consumers to resubmit these documents on such a short span of time. Especially when if a consumer is working for a private firm for 12+ hours in a day.
    At the time of selling the product airtel sells it at every cornor of a street then why can't they make such arrangements to collect the documents again. Or why can't they send their executives to collect it.
    I hope airtel will hear it and make an arrangement to collect the documents from me. My address is

    Dear Sir/Madam,

    As per your messages/calls, I resubmitted all the required documents in Electronic City Post Office on 29.Nov.2010. Unfortunately, I am still getting the messages from Airtel saying that I didn't submit the documents and my connections will be called off. I tried calling 198 and registering the complaint about it but of no use I don't understand Kannada and they don't know English/Hindi.
    My mobile number is [protected]. Can you please confirm that you received the required documents and my service will not be discontinued for this reason?

      Fair Usage Policy

      FUP:- Speed of customer's connection will reduce to Half during day time after crossing a Specified Limit.

      For Eg::

      If the customer on Turbo 1299 plan with Speed 512 Kbps in Day and 1 Mbps in Night
      Total usage exceeds 100 GB in a bill cycle.
      The day speed ie 512 Kbps will be reduced to 256 Kbps and the night Speed will remain as it is.
      The speed will become normal from the next bill cycle.

      Now they (Airtel) have migrated my plan with 10 GB data limit with out my knowledge & permission, when I asked about this issue with airtel customer care


      they told me that airtel customer care had called me dated 05th december 2010 @ 04:03:17 PM at my mobile number.

      But

      I have never received any call from Airtel or its associate at my cell number or my landline number.


      Please launch a complain against airtel for this fraud done by them through their end.

      they have very bad history regarding activation & migration of plans at their end to cheat the customer, last time within month they had actived games on demand service at their end without my knowledge and add rs 199 in my account.

      all the details has been mailed at the above address.
      from yesterday night I am getting speed as, I should get.

      I will monitor this for some days, after that, I will notify again.

      at present time this issue has been solved.

      But as Airtel has done something wrong in last two months in tow different cases, I would like to wait & watch about this issue.

      after some days, I will finally close this issue, when everything will be fine.
      they are full time cheater

      now they have cheated again today

      I was disconnect my connection.
      as per their written statement

        This is regarding the Airtel Prepaid Subscribers' Resubmission drive that Airtel is currently undertaking.

        1. I started getting these SMS's that the documents that I had submitted while applying for the Prepaid Card(around 7 years ago) were INAPPROPRIATE, and I was asked to resubmit them. When I called the customer care service and asked what was inappropriate, they said all my documents were! I had submitted my valid Drivers License as Address and ID proof (the license that i still use!). I dont understand, without verifying, how can they term a legal, valid set of documents as inappropriate!!!!!

        2. Then, without notice they started disrupting my services, and everytime I'd call customer care, they would say it is okay and revert to normalcy within half hour.

        3. I then went and re-submitted my prepaid application form along with the same Drivers License as proof, along with a copy of my PAN card as proof for PAN number at the Airtel Relationship Centre, Gandhi Bazaar. ( Prepaid Application number: 1299155) day before yesterday, i.e. 20th December 2010. (attaching a picture of the submitted application form. the file name has details of mobile number etc)

        Today morning, they've barred all my outgoing calls, SMS etc. This is harassment to the subscriber. I could not even make a call to the customer care to explain the situation. I had to disturb a friend with an Airtel connection to help me out and they say, they will revert to normalcy in 4 hours! Why should I bear the wrath of their mismanagement and inappropriate docs?

        I would like this to be treated in all seriousness by the company.

        Hi,

        Over past couple of weeks, i've realized that i'm not the only one who is facing these kind of problems.
        My airtel connection has been existence for more than 3 years.

        While applying for the postpaid connection, i'd submitted all the documents and even verification was done. 2 years back, i converted my connection to prepaid and once again i submitted all the documents.

        Now i'm told that the documentation is not complete and in last 2 weeks, my number has been deactivated twice.

        When i spoke with the customer care (4 times), the representative as well as the Floor manager agreed that there has been mistake from Airtel. Else how come the Account Name and the address match perfectly with their records.

        Airtel guys could not answer any of my questions.

        It is really unfortunate that Airtel is harassing its customers like this even when they know that the mistake is on their side.

        Airtel is known for its Customer Service. If things continue like this, Number Portability is going to give a hard time to these guys.

            My Airtel Digital TV Account number is [protected]. I had logged complaint number 4766351 with Airtel Digital TV on 12th Dec 2010. No one from your engineer team visited for rectification of problem. I called up again on 15th Dec 2010 and enquired status of my complaint but was surprised to hear that it is already closed.
            Again I was given a new complaint number 4793392. No one visited again for rectification till I called up again to customer care around 7th time. Engineer finely came on 16th Dec and found that problem is with remote of Digital TV and told us that it will be replaced. He gave us maximum time period for resolution by Monday afternoon.
            But as expected no one again turned up.
            I am really surprised to see services of Airtel Digital TV for my complaint which is open from 12th of December. And really shocked by the services. I feel I have been cheated time and again by false promises of your customer care executives. I must tell you that local cable TV network that is available in our area gives much better services than the kind of services given by Airtel Digital TV this time.

            Airtel DTH — Airtel DTH sucks

            Airtel DTH sucks... the customer service executives do not know how to talk to customers. Please train them properly and professionall before they handle customers. Airtel cannot address a customers complaint in 2 days time but claim to be the best service provider.

            I would term them worst of the breed and I mean what am saying.

            AIRTEH DTH SUCKS.....!!!
            I believe that Airtel has lost interest in their DTH business segment, and don't care about user's problems.
            They're terribly slow in adding new channels. TATA and Big have already added channels like FX, FX Crime, BBC Entertainment, Discovery Turbo, Discovery Science etc and their viewers are enjoying it.
            My only problem is that I have two airtel dth connection, and would have to shell out some Rs. 2000 extra for new connection. But I think I'll have to do it, given the apathy of Airtel towards its consumers.

            FYI: I already mailed Airtel many times about the issue and always got the same textbook answer that "we're in the process of adding new channels". This answer sucks... give us some dates/deadlines.
            AIRTEL DIGITAL TV is a HELL... I Switched to Tata Sky HD
            They will never add new channels, if they do so it will surely take an year...
            I say one thing to Airtel just stop the sucking advertisements and increase the channels, then automatically people will recharge account rather than approaching for another DTH services...
            Now to my shock.Called up Airtel Digital TV again my old complaint is closed. I sent below mail to airtel digital TV :-->

            It is really disgusting & shocking to see service level offered by Airtel for Digital TV. Till now no one has attended the call for my issue opened on 12th Dec and new one opened for same issue on 20th Dec with reference number 4841392 . I have been using Airtel mobile from last 7 years and broadband since more than 3 years now and never faced any issue with service on mobile and broadband. Only one word can describe the services offered by Airtel Digital TV that is “BULL !!” or “PATHETIC”. If given any chance in future I will never associate with Airtel Digital TV in future.

            Till now I have spoken with lot of people in customer care : Mohit, Kanik and Sandeep([protected]) who call themselves as escalation executives but are really a bull cheaters and nothing else when I see their commitments.

            This mail is just to inform you that I am taking this issue in consumer court so that no other customer (present or future) is not deceived or cheated the way Airtel Digital TV has taken my case.

            Thanks Mr. Rakesh Ranga. As per your above information problem was resolved on 21st Dec for complaint logged on 12th Dec. In 10 days local cable vendor can come more than 5 times. This is why Airtel Digital TV sucks. Guys never go for Airtel Digital TV. This has worst service of all Digital TV's . It should be renamed as Airtel ANalog TV.

            I have booked a airtel digital tv connection in the name of Mr. Balamarthandan and my mobile number is [protected].

            I have made a idiotic decision that i have gone for this didh tv.

            Local Cable TV is for more better than the quality these set top boxes gives. Wherever there is a small cloud formation there is no signals. It will not work.

            Picture is always brighter, has very low contrast, which make other colour look dull.

            Sound set box give very poor quality sound and it very low too, so you have rise the volume to 60% to & 70% of the volume. Normally it is only 8% to keep it very much audiable. Not able use the home threatre, Since set top box gives only mono sound not even stereo.

            Will you customer service or Technical team can try to some thing on this.

            Airtel DTH UI really sucks.. Dishtv was far better from this and now Im regretting my decision of switching to airtel.

                Hi This is nagarajan.K, I have been too much irritated with Airtel Broadband bill mess. Actually i got the airtel connection on[protected], But I got the bills from[protected] to[protected], during these date I have not got the connection from airtel. And they sent one more bill, which is billing period from[protected] to[protected] and in this bill name which they mentioned is not me, that is something "Ummadi Praveen Kumar". In this bill I have been charged for some shifting charges, which they have not informed me during the installation. I got totally fed up with this service, every day i used to receive a call from their customer care, they are asking the same question but the issue is not yet resolved. Hi Airtel please provide me the bill from[protected] to till date on my name and show me the breakup. I am ready pay the bill. Dont irritate me anymore. otherwise Please take away the connection.

                  My Set top box is not powering on. I contacted Customer care many times, but no progress. Every time the executive says "sorry for the inconvenience caused" . But, no progress.

                  The worst thing is, no body contacts back.

                  I am just thinking of going to the Consumer court. Really frustrated.

                  I thought that Airtel customer support responding to the forum, but i am wrong.

                  Other citizens of India, I hope you have seen the support providing by Airtel.

                  I don't have Access to any TV channels from last few MONTHS. But, the worst thing is, my billing is happening. unethical practice by Airtel.

                  Do not buy AIR Tel DTH any more. And advice your friends and neighborer to not to go for this service.

                  I am moving to official channel of government Authorities(TRAI and Consumer forum) for loss in money and time. Lets spread this incident and let our friends and groups do not suffer from fraud.

                    on dec 2, 2010 i purchased new cell nokia C3-00 and my complaint regarding this is as follows>>
                    as per the scheme airtel have to provide me some net data for net surfing and downloading i.e. 2gb per month, continuesly for 6 months. but this data has not been given to me till date.

                    i made call on 198 several times, they filed my complaints on these dates 6 dec, 9dec, 13dec, 14dec.
                    But no action has been taken so far. Finally i made my cell recharged with rs 98 and started using net.
                    But what about the promises airtel have made with your customers for providing free internet surfing.. this is totally a cheating sir. and i discussed this matter with the nokia consumer care also but they said to me that this is the responsibility of airtel customer care executives to take some action regarding this service.
                    So i request you to do something in this maatter.

                      i purchased articles worth of Rs.1198/-from MAX--INDORE(C-21 MALL) ON 17/12/10. ON 18/12/10 I COLLECTED AIR TEL SIM FROM MAX COUNTER & GIVEN ALL REQUISITE PAPERS & PHOTOGRAPH.
                      I WAS TOLD THAT IT WILL BE ACTIVATED WITHIN 30 MINUTES & RS.15/ TALKTIME WILL BE THERE.
                      TWO FULL DAYS GONE BY, I CONTACTED MAX, BUT AIRTEL PERSON WAS NOT THERE. CONTACTED YOUR NEARBY AIRTEL OFFICE WHERE PEOPLE FOUND WERE VERY LESS COURTEOUS & PASSING ON RESPONSIBILITY TO OTHERS AT A.B. ROAD OFFICE OPPOSITE CITY MALL..THEY WANTED ME TO FILL UP PAPERS AGAIN WHICH I BLATANTLY REFUSED BECAUSE THERE ARE OTHER BIG PLAYERS AVAILABLE IN THE MARKET.
                      ULTIMATELY IT WAS FOUND THAT PERSON CONCERNED AT MAX DID NOT ACTIVATE THE SIM EVEN AFTER GETTING ALL PAPERS WHICH WERE IN ORDER.
                      MY QUESTION IS WHY THIS THING HAPPENED.IF CO. WANTS PROMOTION THEN THIS TYPE OF CALLOUS & UNSKILLED PERSONS SHOULD BE SACKED IMMEDIATELY SO THAT YOUR CO. IMAGE IS RESTORED.                         i am receiving low speed, hanged modems, spedd is ju 6-7kbps instead i am having 64kbps connection

                          One airtel number is constantly annoying my father on his personal mobile number. Now, the stage is that it is very problematic for my all family members (father, mother and sister). It's my humble request to give the full details of the airtel mobile number.                             I recharged Rs. 210/- by my best recharge offer on 17 Dec 2010. In this offer they paid full talk time but in my case they paid Rs. 188.39 instantly and rest of amount unpaid till date 20 Dec 2010. This was E-recharge and Trans. Id[protected]. I tried several times to talk customer care in 121 each call i paid Rs.0.50 but they disconnect my call.                               I have an Airtel landline connection[protected]. At the time of taking connection, the Sales Agent Mr.Viaji Gupta sold me the plan "North-Impatience 699 Combo 2048KBPS LUG PLAN - 90431". He said that the plan can be changed anytime in future by just a telephone call to him.

                              We were not using the internet very frequently. So we decided to shift to "Talk Value 549" plan. For this, I made the first call to Mr.Gupta somewhere in October. He promised to get it done immediately. Since then, I have made several calls to him. Everytime he promises to do it and get back to me. But nither he gets the plan changed nor gets back to me.

                              Today also I made a few calls and he said the same thing. When I said that I would like to get my connection disconnected (to shift back to BSNL), he welcomed it. But again he has not done anything for disconnection. I hope Airtel would do something about such people who are spoiling the reputation of Airtel.

                              Dear Sir

                              I am an Air Tel subscriber and my number is [protected] and i am not able to call the Cust Care for three days. For the same i called up the Cust care from a BSNL number and the executive who picked the call disconnected the call saying the thank you note with out listining to my complaint. I again called the Cust Care and that time i talked to Mr.Baiju and he introduiced himself as a team leader and the same person kept me on hold with out even asking my number and at laast he came up with some stupid clarification which i was not at all ready to accept. Please check and do the needfull at the earliest

                                Airtel Prepaid Connection — value added service not stop

                                my mobile no.[protected], incidentaly marathi Redio servive is on 06.07.2008 at 12.29 pm. immediately I will contacted customer care executive and requested to stop the Radio service. but he told me call no.54321300 & i will call everyday this no. only 6 seconds connect this. and till date not stop VAS on my mobile. also several times contacted to customer care centre but no responce properly.

                                My mob;no is [protected](airtel) .I am verymuch surprised by the automatic activation o[censored]nwanted services. and by activation of these services my balance has been reduced many times although I never subscribed these services till now.

                                please look in to the matter and take necessary action as soon as possible.

                                I want to say that i m not satisfy from the airtel customer service...i have been trying to contact customer since morning service no. 198 and 121 but contact has not done ye...Rs;- 5 is being charged for match updation that was not subscribed by me but still it was updated automatically and charge is deducting...stop annoy us and help us...my e mail id ...[protected]@gmail.com...contact me...at [protected].. if i was not helped out, definately i will change my no. and also give this suggestion to all my friend circle...really really bad and irritating service...!!!

                                    I am a Airtel customer since 2004 and currently using Airtel Mobile Prepaid service. Since past 6 months, I have been receiving Promo SMS (Love jokes, Health tips, etc) to my Mobile number without being registered for such service and every SMS I received, an amount have been deducted from by balance credit amount. Twice I made a complaint to the Executive at your Customer Care Centre in Sector 17, Vashi and also registered a telephonic complaint through Dial 999. Despite repeated complaints, I am still receiving Promo SMS and the amount is being deducted on daily basis.

                                    Recently on 3 October 2010 I recharged my credit balance for Rs.120 with Rs.106 talk time. At that time, I had a balance of Rs.9, but this amount was not credited to my balance after recharge. On 4 October 2010, I again lodged a complaint with the Executive at your Customer Care Centre in Sector 17, Vashi and also registered a telephonic complaint through Dial 999, who informed that this service is being deactivated with immediate effect and the amount deducted will be credited to my mobile account within 48 hours. Even after giving oral assurance, I have been receiving Promo SMS and the amount is being deducted on daily basis.

                                    On 6 October 2010, I again informed the Executive at your Customer Care Centre in Sector 17, Vashi and he informed that it will take 45 days to stop the Promo SMS and will not credit the amount that was deducted.

                                    I do not understand on what basis the Airtel can send the Promo SMS without a request from the customer. I would like to know what rights the Airtel have to send such Promo SMS and deduct the amount without the consent of the customer. This is a sort of daylight burglary and I do not expect such exploitation from a reputed company like Airtel, which claims to be transparent in their business.

                                    Despite assurance and registration for DND, this menace is continued and I think this is the common practice to loot the customers.

                                    Airtel — promotional sms despite of getting registered

                                    I have registered my airtel number [protected] with NDNC on 15/07/10. My reference regestration number is S[protected]. But still I am receiving promotional sms from some companies.

                                      Rather than investing money in new advertisements, you should look for giving better netwrok coverage to consumers, then only people will attract to your service else after number portability you will be loosing your many of customers I am sure about that. Its the problem of all Mumbai Aritel customers. No one advises Airtel in Mumbai to their friends due to lack of coverage in Homes or Shops and call drops. Please take action over this as early as possible
                                      I have sent mail to airtelpresence. Please check the same. I am always happy to improve service. I want to be part of Airtel.

                                      I think airtel people have installed antenna at location where I live. But it is of what use? The problem remain same. THE NETWORK DOES NOT COME IN MY HOME NOR IN SHOPS.
                                      The Rival Service provider's(Best network service provider in mumbai) network does not have any problem. Their network is full at our home.

                                        Dear Sir/Madam,

                                        On 19.12.2010 a total no. of 19 SMS came from 52233 requesting "provide keypad no.". And with every SMS Rs.1/- deducted from my account.At the end total Rs.19/- deducted.

                                        I try to talk customer care personnel sevaral times but they pay little attaintion to my complain.
                                        Please do something so that Airtel Co. forced to reimburse my deducted ammount.
