I am a subscriber of Airtel digital TV having customer ID No [protected]. SInce last five days few channels of digital TV have not been displaying, the channels Nos are 551 (ETV Marathi), 555 (Star Pravah), 559 (DD Sahyadri), 108 (DD National), 282 (News 24h), etc. I had lodged complaint with the Airtel digital Consumer Service. Everytime they had a separate reply/justification and asking to pay Rs 100/- for their Engineer's visit. Whereas other channels are displaying and even the same channels are displaying in my neighbourhoods. Suddenly non displaying of few channels are not consumer's fault. The Service provider has the liability for the same. My point is that they shouldn't charge money for such where there is no fault at consumer's side. Airtel digital TV are requested to do the needful in this regard to uphold its goodwill.

    Airtel customer service I would say the worst one. They updated information of their own and later cheat customer. I had given request to cancel my broadband service. I gave request to cancel it. they said with 24 hours your connection will be disconnected and they will take the instrument etc. The person came to take the instruement and since I am leaving abroad I thought of settle if any due is there for 10 days from billing cycle and I called customer care. To my surprise they are saying it is not cancelled but tranfer to your new XYZ address. which i never knew. Now they are telling to raise complain regarding this and wait for 2 days to look into the issue. but I have not got any reply so far. My airtel broadbank number was [protected].

    I Have given a complaint with regard to generation of bill even after disconnection of Broadband service on 18/02/2012 to the nodal officer through mail and I got a reply that my complaint would be processed by 22/02/2012 but I am yet to get any response with regard to my complaint. Today I got another bill for the month of February. I have disconnected my Broadband service on 22/12/2011, yet I have received bills for the month of January and February, 2012. Please resolve the issue and cancel the bills for the month of January and February for which I have not availed Broadband service.

    Facts :

    I have been using Airted Broadband service for over 2 years in vellore, Due to further studies in Chennai I requested disconnection of my Broadband service on 22nd December 2011 and I gave a letter to the Airted customer outlet at vellore regarding the same. I informed the lady at the customer service desk to cancel my BB connection immediately, since my bill date is 27th of every month. Then on 24th December I submitted the Airtel Phone Instrument and BB Modem and got an acknowledgement regarding the same in a letter.

    I paid my December BB bill in January. In February I received yet another bill for the BB Service. I went to the customer care centre and asked them about it. I related the situation to the lady, for a brief moment she panicked and then told me that the cancellation has been done only on 9th January. I showed her the acknowledgement copy of submission of Modem and to that she replied that it takes 10 days for cancellation.

    I cannot understand why it takes 10 days for cancellation of Service, Where the data could be processed immediately. I asked the lady to let me talk to the seniors. She led me to a person who is about 25 year old. I then related the situation to that person. The person pointed me to be seated and then for about 10 minutes he kept me awaited over his personal matters. He told me that I have to pay at-least Rs. 110 for the cancellation has been made only on 9th January, 2012. I told him I am not responsible for his and the lady's sluggishness and hence I will not pay the bill. He told me "You have to pay the bill, there is no other way".

      Hi,

      I have recharged my airtel prepaid number [protected] with Rs 197 to get 1000 Airtel to Airtel Local minutes but I got only 800 minutes. My Transaction ID is[protected].

      I had confirmed it from your 121 portal and it is still giving me the same information that u will get 1000 local minutes on recharge of 197.

      The steps which I have followed to get information from your Portal:-

      Dial 2
      It is still giving me the same information.

      I have complained in 198 for the same. They said, this recharge had been updated on 4 Aug 2010 and you will get only 800 A2A minutes.

      Please tell me one thing if this recharge had been updated on 4 Aug 2010, why it(121 portal) is still giving me wrong information. This is not the way to tackle your customers.

      If your portal is not synchronize with your updates then what is the use of that Portal ?

      Airtel Prepaid Complaint — demanding new document

      Dear Sir,
      Air tel service provider demanding new addressing proof without any legal justrification, i am already all the document submitted during the time of new Pre paid connection of [protected] as per DOT,

      service provider demanding once again on the behalf of DOT guidlines new doucment reason is incomplete documets, but all the document already submitted as per DOT requirment, same approch to airtel for the incomplete document but he is not able to justify, he is demaning all the new address proof document,

      Yes, this is very wroung practice - service provider demanding document to customer for without any justification. when customer has already given the document while obtaining new connection then why they are asking for it's after 2 year,

      It's shame on the working of service provider Bharti Airtel.

      Airtel Prepaid Complaint — airtel harrassment for docs

      Hello,

      I applied for postpaid connection of airtel in first week of July in pune, Maharashtra,

      I have been allotted the no xxxxxxxx

      I converted the same to prepaid on 6 th August and submitted the necessary address proof and identity documents.

      I have been informed by airtel on 26th Sept to submit all the identity and address proof docs at the earliest and in the evening my connection was disconnected.

      No incoming and not outgoing and no sms

      I immediately submitted docs at Airtel center at Akurdi on 26th evening itself but till date connection is not in operational.

      I followed up matter with Airtel center at akurdi and they informed me that they have forwarded the documents further and all have been submitted.

      I was helpless and was not knowing whom to approach. At the end bullish Airtel guys at relationship center admitted that they lately forwarded my documents and all got lost. Now my cell no has been deleted from airtel records. I have been told to apply for recreation of no and pay Rs 25....what the hell service is this...I have been asked to pay for their mistake of not keeping my docs properly....this is the service which I got..be aware of this if you wish to go for Airtel...!

      And worst of all...the nodal officers appointed for solving customer issues are even donot bother to reply to you...and i[censored] call them they wont receive your call....!@!

      Keep away from Airtel..!

        ENIL — Prank Call

        Hi,

        This is Neeraj Pandey working for ENIL, Pune.

        today i got a call from the no [protected].
        It was a crank call. there was some guy called Mr sanddep huda from Delhi Police stating that someone called mr OP Sharma has lodged a compaint against me in Delhi Police.
        He asked me to be careful and n no of other things.

        i respectfully asked him to keep the phone

        Would request to plz look in the same matter.

        A huge chaos and mental tension is created because of this.

          For all the money airtel wastes on advertisements, we also fell for it and trusted them by taking Airtel DTH service. We recently shifted locally so had requested for reinstallation for airtel DTH at new place.Despite many requests and customer executives falso promises it got delayed a lot and we had to suffer lot of mental torture calling them several times as if we had no other work to so. After that difficult reinstallation, engineer did some faulty work due to which my remote is not working.
          Again same procedure repeated from last 1 month for repairing that remote but no positive response from executives.No engineer has come till date to my place.I have registered for this atleast 5-6 times.Evertime I just receive a msg saying the service request no is ----.I dont get any engineer's number from customer care where i can call up and resolve my problem.
          Everytime sms comes that reqquest is resolved...Who resolved it.Did they confirm from me?Then why is my complaint closed without resolving it.Please specify if they dont want to solve it.
          Today I received a sms saying my a/c has been deducted Rs. 100 for engineer visit...what the hell!!!
          Who engineer came...what he did....If customer care has any shame please give me the details. I will readily pay you Rs. 100 as donation.
          They have cut Rs 340 from my account in less than 1 month without explaning me the deductions.
          Mr Customer care executives like gaurav,promod,assem etc just dont care about customers and give blank replies.A limit is crossed now.
          I want the airtel head office number or any top bosses number to show them the reality in a city like pune where no airtel service engineer available in prime area like aundh which can solve a small remote issue.Shame on Airtel!!!!!!!!!!!

          i agree, airtel dth is the worst of all dth service providers in the nation. poor service and inefficient engineers is all they offer.
          You will not be surprised - if they come with an explanation - your complaint is resolved.
          I know you are facing this problem in Pune and I know the reasons also.

          1) Ms. Shubhangi is TSM working in Airtel office but doesn't know what to do with complaints.
          2) Mr. Sachin Patil is ASM working in Airtel Pune office, but he himself doesn't remember - what he had said before 2 days.

          3) Now there is something called as Nodal Nautanki: He is Mr. K Rao at Mumbai.

          Half the problem of Airtel will be solved if this nodal officer is required to visit all the complainants in Pune. Hope Mr. Ajai Puri is reading this and try to get in touch with Nodal Officer and check his console for functioning of Nodal Desk.
          No wonder I am facing this harrassment of calling the customer care three times a day and holding on to each call for more than 15 minutes. I am surprised to see such a pathetic service from a giant like airtel. I had gone for airtel dth, done the full payment. An engineer had come to do the installation but said services will not be activated because of technical reasons and alas I thought it's problem with only my connection and I didn't realize it's the great Airtel and their pathetic service. Shame on you to give such a customer service inspite of the base you guys have!
          Please pay me back my money of Rs2514 immediately. I have spent nearly 10 long days with your customer care office but to no avail.You higher ups are in no way better than this. I am sure that thew can not install Airtel DTH in a remote place like Trichy, Tamilnadu. Within 24h you are supposed to install DTH with HD setr of box. I know that your staff are incabable of doing this.

          Since TATA, Reliance, Sundirect offer better services. I am tired of your inert customer care personnels at Bangalore.
          I do not want to take it to the consumer court or make it a Police case. I am no longer interested in your DTH. Please make arrangements to return my money at the earliest

          I applied for Airtel DTH in Bangalore. Got confirmation for installation today 8:30am. Got a call from installer yesterday confirming 12:30pm. Nobody turns up and installer doesn't take my call. Called Customer Service but to no avail. Got false promises. Talked again to Prasad (Team lead) who doesnt call back in 5-10 minutes he promised. He was more concerned about "Let me see what problem is installer having" rather than "What problem customer is experiencing". Awesome reverse customer service. Spent over 100 minutes on telephone calls - for which there is no reimbursement for me. Frustated, called at 5:50pm to Airtel customer service. Executive tells me that installation is postponed for 8:30am tomorrow. On asking how do I get notification, he says message receives after 24 hrs. So, installation will be done by Airtel AT THEIR WILL and system notification will come after installation. What a Joke. Basically, there's no accountability from TRAI or DOT on type of service rendered. Airtel has pocketed the money for 2 days and earning interest from consumers without providing service.

          Continutation... of yesterday experience...
          Called Cust Serv at [protected] over 15 times. Looks like my number was flashed to be blocked. On selecting option of "Schedule Installation" (Option 5), 3-4 sec after connecting, my call got disconnected. Finally got a call at 8:30pm with promise to revert in morning. Today morning, waited till 10:30am and called Cust Serv. Got escalation supervisor Marie who promises to call after 2 hrs. Asked for Disconnection and refund and was told that "separate backend team" will call. Obviously, another PROCEDURE TO ADD DELAY an retain the consumer money. I am sure Airtel will deduct "Processing Charges" if I ask for refund. And they won't pay me Interest for Withholding my money (without providing any service). How much money in Interest is Airtel accumulating without providing service is to be brought to Notice of DOT / TRAI. With the Pre-paid Service of DTH, it's nothing but turned into a Money Grabbing Opportunity for this and other DTH Service Providers. Is DOT/TRAI listening?

          i know it sucessfully credited? But 100 rupees is Credit from my a/c.

            Hi My name is Kenny Gurjao, residing in New Sangvi, Pune. I had taken airtel prepaid no.[protected] three weeks back by submitting all the documents and was in usage.
            Suddenly on 16th Aug'10 20:00 the no. was no working. I got a pop up stating SIM CARD REGISTRATION FAILED. I was not communicated what so ever about the incomplete registration. When called the customer service, got different answers from different Customer care executives:

            1. The no. will work in next 4 hours, there is some problem at the Airtel end.
            2. The no. is postpaid and not prepaid.
            3. No details are found about the no.
            4. Adress proof not submitted, contact the Airtel Gallery

            When contacted Airtel Gallery in New Sangvi, got a reply saying the no. is deleted from the data base and cant be re activated.

            I had more than Rs. 100.00 balance in the card. I am unable to understand that when i had submitted by address proof with photograph why the co. has deleted my no. and why dint they communicate to me if they have not received address proof?

            This is completely not acceptable as i faced a lot of diffculty in understanding what the issue was and lost my money. Also my no. was communicated to all my friends/co. etc

            This is cheating by Airtel

            I have recently portabal my cell no.from reliance to Airtel on 28.09.2011. But on 11.10.2011 it has been disconnected by Airtel due to non submission of varification documents, when i have already submitted to Airtel gallery, new sangavi, pune office on 13.09.2011
            Till date i am suffering without any mistake from my side.

            Kindly advice.

              Respected Sir/Madam,
              My Airtel sim was inactivated on 13/08/2010 evening. The reason given by airtel customer care centre that I haven't submitted my identity proof. If this is the reason,they are giving me now then, first thing, on what ground did they issue me a sim when I haven't submitted my ID proof.
              Secondly, as far as Iam concerned I have submitted my electroral ID proof for this particular sim. I think electroral ID proof suffices for purchasing a sim card. I just want airtel to clarify their stand on this.
              More over,In my family we all use airtel for nearly a decade now. And I wish just because of this thing airtel doestn.t loose its very loyal customers.
              My airtel number, is or was, now what shall I say I dont know, [protected].

                  My Airtel Digital TV ID is-[protected]. I have registered a complaint on 15th Aug. 2010 at 12.48 noon for poor signal as well as Video Problem. I have received the complaint no 3567886 /3572703 from customer care but still my problem is not resolved from Airtel DTH. I will personally called to service engineer 27 times in a day but i think they all are to busy they don't have a time to pick up the clients call or they will also not replied. After 6 pm there cell is also Switch off.
                  So i request you to plz resolved my problem a.s.a.p.

                  DVR Machine not working/malfunctioning
                  I bought an Airtel DTH DVR box and connection about a week back (Jan 10th 2011) from a local retailer in Amar Colony Market. The installation and everything was okay. The Airtel guy charged about Rs 700 stating that he needed extra cable. I didnt complain. However, the horror story started right from day 1. The DVR STB is so slow that its practically unusable. I changed the batteries on my remote since the call center guy advised me to do so. But that didnt help. Couple of guys came to try and trouble shoot from Airtel but couldnt do anything. They gave up finally saying that the STB is slow since it has a hard disk and all sort of technical jargon. Even the technician tried navigating the channels using the remote but everytime he pressed "OK" to select a channel, the box took him to the Games menu.

                  I am surprised that no one else has any complaints about the slowness/glaring problems of the device and that makes me think that I was fleeced by Airtel who gave me a malfunctioning, broken worthless STB and now refuses to replace it even though its just been a week since I purchased it. I went back to the retailer to return the box and get my money back, but they completely washed their hands off. No help from there either.

                  The situation is so unbearable that many times I'm just tempted to take my remote and throw it at the television. I am as frustrated as frustrated can be. I want Airtel to take some responsibility and either 1. say that their DVR STBs are not up to any standard o[censored]sage or 2. Replace the box and fix the problem.

                  If the quality of the STB is like I described above, then I'm afraid I do not want the product and want my money back.

                  PS: I hope others reading this review make an informed decision and stick with one of the other companies that provide Digital TV service and DVRs.

                      Hi Dear,

                      I had a Airtel connection ( Prepaid ) for the past 5 years, now I received a call from Airtel office that your existing number can be converted into postpaid just by doing the payment of security deposit at the time of activation, so the executive from their office came and collected the Rs.300 /- from me and gave in writen in the form of activation form, I was not aware of any explicit receipt he was supposed to give me. Thus got my prepaid connection converted to Postpaid, and now in the bill they are not reflecting this amount of security deposit which I had paid to the executive and asking me to produce the receipt which executive never gave me.

                      I have that activation form only as an evidence of payment along with the signature of him on it. Can we do the needful, to stop such frauds may be company is also helping these guys to do so, they no these days mobile has become the basic need rather than luxury, so despite having such bad experieces we have to use one of the existing mobile service.

                        Dear reader kindly don't believe AIRTEL DTH. If your are having any interest to buy Airtel. Please don't do the mistake as i done. I have booked the Airtel DTH HD 1 week before and they have given assurance of installation will be done within 48hrs. But Till date 16/08/10 there is not response. I have made a complaint through Customer care & mail, still there is no +ve response. For being a Airtel Mobile user i believed in the same way for DTH. I never had such kind of frustration, disappointment and irritating.

                        If any is interested to Buy Airtel DTH, those will voluntarily paying money for their own evil.

                        If any Airtel employee have seen this msg, kindly inform to your management and take necessary action against this.

                        Airtel DTH — No response for installation

                        I have relocated form bangalore to chennai. I have requested for renstallation of Airtel DTH in chennai. After logding 3 complaints and followup for 6 days calling upto 30 times, no response form service engineers, they have started deducting money which i paid for installation. Suggest no to go for Airtel DTH, very poor service.

                        I have paid 1650 /- online payment on the dated of 25th May -2010 for Airtel DTH Connection .After getting my customer id-[protected] on the dated of 27th-May-2010, I have requested for installation of Airtel DTH in my home address at Kopar khairane Navi Mumbai ,After loading complain in his cust care I have got complain request id- 2871515 and followup for 3 days calling upto 10-15 times but found no response form cust service engineers and executives .

                        It is showing a very wrong impact towards Airtel DTH Services

                        As per your TAT of Airtel DTH ,within a 72 hours connections should be installed ,but It is not installed so far..

                        I have taken my airtel DTH cable connection around 9 months back.I have also recharged it with rs 1750/- for a one year periodNow i am not able to get most of the channels.I have made a complaint with your help line as well as your distributor around a week back. But there was no response from your side. My customer id-[protected], registered telephone no:[protected], stp no:[protected] I, After loading complain in customer care & calling up to 10-15 times a day, but found no response form cust service engineers and executives .

                        It is showing a very wrong impact towards Airtel DTH Services & lack of lethargy from your side.

                          I took a Airtel pre-paid connection 40 days back and it was activated the day 2nd. But from past 2 weeks my connection has been disconnected stating that I have not submitted my documents. However I already submitted the complete documents on day one to the respective shop and when enquired by the dealer, I got to know that it has been submitted on 3-July-2010 and serial No is 18.when I called customer care, they said we have not received the documents.

                          I don’t know what is going on? why after 1 month they have disconnected by connection. When I gave the documents to the shop owner, then only he activated the Sim. This is totally cheating.

                          i kindly request you to take immediate action against those airtel people. At any cost I will not re-submit the documents again as I have given the documents with signature and photo.

                          This happened with me too...they take up this issue after months...very useless guys...no coordinations between airtel outlets and their head office...its just waste of time waiting for these ...already they have lost lots of customers because of this...I am going to discontinue their connection and going for some other operators soon
                          I had the same problem. After 2 months of fight i said goodbye to airtel forever. They will ask to resubmit documents everymonth and will disconnect the outgoing. Even if you resubmit the documents, nothing is going to happen. Be careful as you are giving valid proofs to some one who can misuse it.

                          After 4 years i[censored]sage airtel is asking me to resubmit the documents. i have given all the required documents and cross signed Photograph at the time of taking the Sim card 4 years back.
                          My Number is [protected] and unfortunately i lost my phone and SIM card on Friday (3rd December 2010).When i asked at the Sector 18, Noida, Airtel customer service center for Duplicate SIM, they informed me that the number does not belong to any one as their system is not showing any name against the number([protected]).
                          now from Friday i do not have my number with me.
                          On Saturday morning(4th December 2010) i have resubmitted the Address proof, ID card, Photograph (which i should not because i have already provided them the same at the time of purchasing the SIM in 2006) to push the process of taking the duplicate SIM card, but when i am visiting the Sector-18(atta Market) Airtel center they are not issuing me the Duplicate SIM card due to documents submitting(ideally which i did couple of times now)
                          Please let me know if you can make this process faster so that i can take the duplicate SIM and continue using AIRTEL.

                          Yes. Myself also one of the person cheated by this Airtel and it's one of the distributor.
                          Here is the reason,
                          I recently purchased a SIM card in Indra nagar by submitting relevent documents and a photo.
                          It was activated after a day and it was going fine. After a week of time I got a message saying my documents were not submitted and the outgoing calls is going to be deactivated. It was totaly confusing me. After that my out going calls were disconnected. I contacted customer care and they were asking to submit the documents again. I had submitted my documents last week again to another dealor but till now the the connection is in the same state. It is quite disappointing. Now total SIM has been de-activated. I couldn't contact customer care also.

                          Poor customer service and lack of distributors co-ordination.

                          Hope this is the reason why lot of people are migrating to other operators.

                            Hello,

                            Recently I noticed that I was being deducted small amounts of money from my Airtel mobile prepaid account without me making any calls or sending SMS. I called Cust. care. They said a certain pack was active. I was not even aware what the pack was about so asked her to deactivate it. She said she'd do so, but didn't.

                            I lost money the next day too and called the customer care again. This time I met with a very rude representative who kept repeating the same thing over and over again. He did not trust me when I said I did not activate the service and declined to show any empathy. I had no option but to add my mobile number to the DND.

                            I'm even considering disconnecting the Airtel connection. If I continue to face such problems, I will certainly take it to the consumer court.

Since i had lots of telephonic interviews to be attended on that week, I followed up those offices and each time they assured that within 48 hours, this I will get my problem rectified. But till today(16th) it has not been rectified. They keep on extending the dates. It seems they doesnt want me to attend the interviews and keep on delaying. I have wasted lots of time in visiting their office as well as money in calling up their customer care. I have given up now and request you to kindly take action on such providers. Usually, all other operators activate the numbers in 1 day and these people have taken a week time still it is not activated. My alternative contact number is [protected]

                              Following is my yesterday's mail to the Consumer Complaints. No one has aproached me. Is some one is looking at this site or is it a dummy site...just to post our frustrations? I dont understand what to do next. I approached the customer service supervisor of airtel, who is not in synch with airtel rules. The airtel outlet in cunningham says one thing and the call center guys are in different track..I dont knw whom to believe..I am making a waste effort even by wrting my frustration here also... God only save India from such people

                                  I have purchased a Airtel DTH connection from Vriti Infocom Pvt. Ltd. ( B-70, Sector-63, NOIDA - 201307 (UP) Tel:[protected], Fax:[protected] [protected]@vriti.com Web: www.vriti.com )
                                  Set Top Box got installed at my place on 3-Aug-2010. but till date it didnt got activated.
                                  Even i talked to Customer Care and all concerned persosn regarding the issue. But i got "No response".
                                  Look like they are not interested in Customer queries at all.
                                  Also, I tried to connect to Vriti Infocomm office but got no response from them.
                                  Best part i have seen in Airtel Service is 'No one is ready to take the responsibility'. Every one is transferring the call to other Department and at last I get the response that It is not the concerned Department.

                                  I have the Cash payment reciept and also I have got my Customer ID but still Customer Care is saying that we cannot log any complaint againt this. Isn't that sound wierd.
                                  Lets Hope if Consumer Forum can help me resolve the issue.

                                  Anyways Guys ...request you all ...Please DO NOT GO FOR AIRTEL DTH at all.
                                  Look like Airtel DTH is just a Fraud and nothing more than that.

                                  Airtel DTH — Pathetic Service/Lack of Response

                                  I have an Airtel DTH connection for the past year. During this period I have had no service for 2 months in 2010 and I am not getting the DTH signal for past 12 days. I have so far tried to
                                  1. Call the Customer Service on 12150 upto 30 times in last 12 days
                                  2. Logged multiple online complaints
                                  3. SMS'd Help to 54325
                                  This is not the first time I am facing these issues, Airtel DTH call canter is invariably busy all the time. After waiting for 15 minutes when one gets to speak to an executive (if the tools are working, chances are 30% of the time the tools are down) the executive will assure you that it will be looked into and then place you on hold. I have noticed that in all my calls (made from my new mobile using the parent company's Airtel's network) that I get disconnected when they put me on hold or transfer me to a superior. This has been happening to all my calls.
                                  The online complaints have yielded no response from Airtel, the users cant check the status of these complaints and I believe these are ignored.
                                  I have SMS'd Help on 54325 from various numbers and I do get a call from +91 [protected] which I pick up and no one speaks. When you try to call this number back, it says number does not exist!
                                  As of now I am still unable to get a signal on my DTH Box.
                                  Frankly I am tired of wasting my time and effort on this useless service and have decided to move to a different provider (even a cable wallah is better). It is disappointing to experience such service from a company like Airtel (I have been using Airtel Mobile Network for past 7 years)
                                  My TV is blank for past 4 days due to someone in Airtel customer care tried changing some settings. Now I am waiting for an Engg (I need to pay Re 100 for no fault of mine - if the engg comes) for past 4 days and no joy.. :( Unable to contact customer care, getting IVR that I need to send SMS "Call" and someone will get back to me, sent atleast 5 SMS till now, not even 1 guy got back to me. Do I need to go to consumer court/forums to get support. I need refund and will be happy to go to Tata Sky

                                    False promise on connection and delay in installation after collecting money in advance.
                                    Not giving ISD connection along even after mentioning in applcation
                                    Not taking request for registering for NDNC

                                    Now also fraudulent activities and false promises continue:
                                    Sending a bill which shows calls even before installation
                                    Not ready to take action even after raising the complaint within the specified TAT.
                                    When asked for escalation putting on long hold of 10-15 minutes and then disconnecting the line.

                                    I had aslo moved to a 2mbps speed connection from this month, but the speed now is less than 1mbps. Once the complaint was registered one lady called saying she is AIRTEL Back end and put me on hold. She was not ready to give her name and what for the call was for.
                                    As there was no response from the Nodal Officer, I had atken up the billing issue with "Appellate Authority". The call was attended by one Mahalakshmi, instead of taking up the complaint she was argumenting on the office hours and was giving wrong information that the nodal officer working hours is mentioned in the bill and would be there in the mail acknowledgement given by Nodal officer. When i read out what is written in the bill, she instead of correcting herself says it is there in the website.

                                    First she said the complaint will attended "now", then "immediately" and finally said "you will get a call by 6.30pm today".

                                    AIRTEL has wrong processes and systems and instead of correcting them their officials push back the complaints back to customers who made the complaint.

                                    This itself shows these are deliberate one and they do not want to resolve the complaints.
                                    Today I got a call from [protected], saying that there is no such calls whcih are billed into my statement prior to the installation date of 15th July. I gave the details of the calls billed for 8th July with the numbers to which the calls are made. But he is refusing that there is no such calls.
                                    Even after 5 days of raising the complaint, Airtel is not rectifying the defects in their bill. Issue had been taken up even with Appellate Authority but no resolution till this day.

                                      Actually I have internet problem (Restarting of net connection very frequently) in my home for past 4 months, and during these 4 months I have given more than 15 complaints to Airtel customer services regarding net and phone problem. Airtel Lineman usually comes to home and they just fix the fault temporarily. They said ‘The problem is with internal wiring and so fixing a splitter temporarily won’t create problem for six months”. OMG… It won’t sustain more than a week, sometimes not more than an hour. Do you know how irritating it will be when your net connections cut off when you have an important work? They said the same answer all the times, so I finally decided to give an alternate wiring. I think I had given 5 final complaints in which they promised that the problem will not occur again. But again……. I face the worst service from Airtel. They just give the connection as if they were providing free services (Kindly find the attached image Worstwiring.jpeg). They have given alternate wiring a week ago by spoiling my home. Do you know what happens then? I am still sitting before the system to see the rarely linking internet connection and am totally irritated now. I don’t know yet how many more complaints do I have to give Airtel customer services to fix this problem
