Hello,
I have been receiving ANNOYING world cup updates on my mobile number [protected].
To add insult i am having Rs. 3.00 deducted everyday for a game i have no interest in.
This is so frustrating and irritating that i am planning to give up on Airtel and am thinking of refraining from subscribing to any of its services if this is not resolved any sooner.

Airtel — Junk Messages

Hi,
I am continuously receiving advertisements as text messages even after registering my number for no advertisements. Can someone please suggest me how to block these junk messages.

    As per advice of Airtel SMS i decided to recarge my mobile # [protected] through ATM o[censored]nion Bank
    Bank ATM deslayed that i could recharge minimum amount of Rs 10 and max of Rs 10000.
    i asked for recharge of Rs 200 which was done promptly informing me that talktime of R8 181.40 has been added in my balance ,of course Rs 200 were debited from my bank acct.
    After about 15 minutes i felt i may require more balance in my acct thus i asked for recharge of Rs 800.0
    to which i got a promt SMS informing that ammount of Rs 561.60 talktime has been added to my balance which took me by surprise since i was expecting deuction of Rs85 or so based on talktme credited for Rs 200! RS 800.0 were debited to my acct in my bank.
    i got in touch with Customer Service Executive and Manager who could NOT give me any satisfactory reply
    except that there was NO scheme for Rs 800 and it was incumbant on me to know regarding this !They could NOT give details as how talktime of R561.40 was arrived at .When i asked them to cancel the transaction they informed itwas NOT possible. These companies are indulging in unfair practices by NOT informing the customers correctly about recharge rather they are misleading one and all !

    i would like Airtel Mobile to give me the breakdown of talk time /service charges/tax etc withregards to
    recarge of Rs 800.0

      dear sir,

      since i had posted the satisfactory remarks on airtel gprs nop( service code rs.104) here, airtel authority have limited the speed of nop to 2kbps on my number, [protected]. the speed i mentioned above is enjoyed by me throughout the month (all the day). most of the time nop service is crushing, therefore, resulting in poor net connexion. the same fate is shared by my sister in her number [protected]. every time i try to reach airtel with my bag of complaint, the c c send me only the nop settings.
      plse take serious action against these cyber goons.

      AirTel — GPRS NOP

      My self received an offer in my Airtel mobile number [protected] that to get unlimited Internet usage on my mobile phone for 3 months by recharging with 98 & details to call[protected]. Dialing the above number ends in a recorded voice message that to enjoy unlimited internet browsing with out any restrictions for the coming 3 months by the above offer.

      I am responded to your message and activate NOP by paying Rs. 98/- after getting clarification from your customer care that at is a different scheme & the only different is with my existing mobile office is that NOP is only can useable in mobile not in computer.

      Mean while am in my mobile office offer & enjoyed for one month. After the times frame my self-log on to NOP, but the first day itself problems started. I cant able to access through the setting that you forwarded then I reloaded the setting and tried to access my mail and other community webs, but I cant. Again I am contacted to your customer care to get the details and informed that I can use unlimited Internet browsing on phone using NOP and again re-forwarded the settings, also diverted to the other number 12118 for more details.

      While enquiring in the above number they informed me that I can only to access WAP sites by using this service not to Web sites. I am asked that person, what are all the sites come under WAP? He replayed what all are the sites displayed through NOP is WAP & else are Web.

      I like to bring your kind attention that am activated the NOP service by getting repeated clarifications from your customer service and they all are replied the same, that I can use unlimited internet browsing with out any restrictions by the above service. But am diverted to the other number only after facing more troubles, then only am intimated the same.

      Now I want to get one clarification that how you cut shorted the definition of “Unlimited Internet Browsing” as WAP sites only? If so how you provided Web as well as WAP, using the same word “Unlimited Internet Browsing” for mobile office offers?

      As far as I am concerned this is as same as cheating the customers by hiding the details of your schemes and with out providing correct details from your customer care. More over I did not require your NOB service with this differentiations. Kindly look in to this matter and take necessary steps to return my money I paid for the same.

      Your prompt action in this regard is highly appreciated.

        Sir/Madam

        1) I bought an Airtel Digital TV connection in the month of May 10 with one month of free subscription. My Customer ID is [protected].

        2) While I was in the midst of free subscription month I upgraded my plan to Mega pack and I also decided to subscribe for some paid channels. During all this while my account went into negative balance for a day or two. The very next day I recharged my account with Rs 500/- and as of today on 26 Jun 2010 my account balance is Rs 217.82.

        3) With so much money in the account as balance money everyday a massage stating that "my account balance is negative please recharge and if already recharged please ignore" is being displayed on TV screen. This kind of message being displayed everyday reflects very poorly on the companies image, it becomes a cause of embarrassment if viewing TV with the guests and also is a major irritant.

        4) Please look into the matter at the earliest. An early action and reply is awaited.

        Hello my sim got stolen and I did the welcome back thing plus the prepaid thing and I loaded credit and it was working but my balance wasn’t showing but now my balance is showing-557 and I can’t call again it just beeps then doesn’t call the person please resolve this issue

          Hello,

          Its very uninteresting to write about leading mobile service provider- Airtel of India. This guys talk about increasing global network coverage and no disturbance in the network (atooth coverage).

          We guys in mulund (east) have been facing mobile network problem for past 2 months and even following up with this folks your problem does not gets resolved. I have got completely tired and calling up this folks to improve the service.

          I am not sure whether anything brought to notice on this forum works or not, but if it really works then make Airtel to provide better service which has got useless in providing mobile service.

          i had complained about network coverage problem in 2006.so many complaints were also given later.but they are all invain.my mobile number is [protected].as airtel had failed to give me proper service ,my monthly rentals rs249/month shall be refunded for the last two years.early reply is awaited.

          We are using Airtel under CUG with over 10 phones , the telephone coverage is worst in our area. Arasur just 2 kms off the Avinashi Road NH 47. We have made repeated complaints as we loose business. WILL AIRTEL BE INTERESTED IN RESOLVING THIS. Tel number[protected], 51798,52798,53798,55798,56798 etc.....

            I have purchased Digital setup box (stb id:-[protected] & View card No:[protected] two months back. I have recharge the account by Rs300 2 days back and now there is Rs.300 account balance.

            From 2days I am trying to your helpdesk to resolve the complaint and registered the complaint twice, but the complaint is still not yet resolved

            Your service request no:-3129317 registered dt:24.06.10.
            3136773 registered dt:24.06.10.

            The funny thing is they are again forwarding the complaint and making another service request and asking me to wait for another 24hrs to resolve the complaint.
            Does Airtel required so much time to resolve the my complaint?????????? Is Airtel team is so much in capable to resolve the complaint I am unable to understand???

            Hope today the complaint is resolve.

              Im in residing in chennai for the past 6 days my airtel is not working, i ve been calling their customer care reguaraly for the 5 days and it is the same response they are giving. it is resolved you can restart the setup box, but nothing is seem to be working out, and after calls they said their executive is on the way, but till date no one has turned, and moreover they are sending messages to our mobile no. as rate our service and hope you are satisfied with it, are they TEASING US, Very poor customer service it is a great fault to buy, i will never recommend anyone to buy airtel set up box.

              airtel setup box — setup box not recieve signals

              Dear Airtel,

              I have log call so many times in your call centre complain no are 98250248 & 1144323 each and every time your executive told me engineer will come on so & so date & time but still i have problem since 15 sep 09 tell me when you will closed the complain

              Airtel Setup Box — No proper support even bad language

              I am staying at bhayander (e) & I have purchased Airtel Set up box before 2 month, but still some channel is not working properly,day after yesterday I called Toll free no for support but they are not ready to support , they provide us one person no., who is from miraroad Thane, when we call he is also not ready to support even he has used bad language. I request all people that do not purchase Airtel set up box better go for TATA Sky.

                  I am a subscriber to a prepaid Airtel number in Jamshedpur and I face a peculiar problem.

                  1. Even when my line is free there have been times when the caller gets a busy signal

                  2. There have been times when my phone actually rang at my end (and I have missed it) - but at the same time the caller hears the busy signal.

                  I assume this happens on account of network problems - like I have faced in Adityapur and Sonari areas - but the busy tone is quite unbelievebale for the people who are calling. I also understand that this probably has to be solved at the macro level and Airtel definitely won't do anything about my problem as a lone subsciber but this issue has led to personal problems for me. I just wish to know if any other subscribers are facing / has faced this problem - and if so, if they have been able to solve the issue.

                  I had faced the same problem when I was here in Jamshedpur last - in the year 2007.

                    I have two prepaid connections in my name out of which +91 [protected] number has been not in service due to non-submission of documents since 21/06/2010 1630 hrs. In this regard I have following complaints :-
                    1) I had submitted all required documents on 7th June 2010 to nearest dealer for migration from post paid to pre-paid which was activated on 12/06/2010. There after I didn’t receive any call for verification or no one visited my residence for verification. Inspite of this, dealer is saying that services have been discontinued due to negative verification. I have asked for details of verification and date when verification was carried out to dealer, which is not provided to me. What kind of procedure is this ? I am your customer for last 7 years and the moment I shifted to pre-paid your company is adopting every possible way to discontinue services. Further, if verification is key issue my card should not have activated till the process is over. But that was activated on 12/06/2010. I have given alternate phone number and verification agency is simply putting negative remark if my phone is not reachable or if I do not attend your call. This is ridiculous. It means customers are at the mercy of verification agency which will not take any extra effort to complete their work and will simply put “Negative” remark if they don’t want to work !! Plus Airtel do not have any system to cross check work done by verification agency.
                    2) When I talked to 198, I got various replies. Some them are
                    a) “Change your network selection mode to manual and re-start your phone. It will start working.”
                    b) “We have not received your documents” and after telling them that dealer has sent documents on 12/06/2010, “We have not received your documents, please re-submit”.
                    c) “We have taken your complaint and services will be activated on or before 22/06/2010 1800 hrs.”
                    d) (Most Surprising) “ Your phone is working. Every service is active including outgoing and incoming !”
                    e) “Till the time we don’t receive your documents, it will not be active. We can not provide details where documents needs to be submitted for activation. “ (means local office or pune office or Mumbai office or US office )
                    So 198 number is of no-use and Airtel should give wrong assurance to customers that it is a “Compliant Booking Number”.

                    3) My local dealer has raised hands regarding this issue. He says that I have sent documents to Pune on Tue 22/06/2010 and now it is upto the person punching data. So it means now I need to pray to God that person who punches data at Pune office receives my documents and punches them properly so that my wish is fulfilled.
                    4) I have also talked to Nodal officer in Pune on 23/06/2010 which also did not help me at all and I got the same answer as given by my dealer.

                      I have weird problem, my connection keeps disconnecting every few minutes and sometimes every few seconds....I checked everything windows firewall, the norton firewall everything.

                      I had called up the Customer support humpty number of times but the issue is yet to be resolved. I have been facing this Issue for the past 20 days.

                      I dont see any point in calling customer support about this, anyone who's ever dealt with customer support should know why it would be futile and waste of time..

                      Please help in getting this resolved. i'll provid emy number and email to you if you require.

                      Hi,
                      Even I am facing the same problem. I live at Bangalore Banaswadi and of late the connection here is getting poor.

                      On contacting the customer care, I was only directed to change the ip address to a manual one. The main concern was not addressed.

                      I do not believe in resorting to tantrums at all, but the frustration caused sometimes leads that way. Let's hope the airtelpresence people address this properly

                      What's amazing is that in the time I wrote this, the connection cut off twice. It's a real hindrance to work.

                      Hi, Even I am facing this frequent disconnect problem from the last month, and also checked with my colleagues, all are facing this problem in chennai location, if not atleast in chennai adyar location.

                      the temporary solution is, I hve created an app which will always see for running internet connection and if the net disconnects it will beep in, after that just restart your modem (or call your mobile number (missd call) from your airtel landline, 2 to 3 times). basically the idea is making ur signal connection alive by using ur landline connection.

                      If this solution doesnt work ping me back, wll suggest you someother solutions. Calling customer care wll not solve this prblm, they will just answer the call and follow SLA and then end it.. otherwise they will play their same slogan - underground cable cut across over seas... use less
                      I'm also facing the same problem and the same frustration that calling customer support doesn't help. Their technical persons are eager to visit you but don't have any solution apart from resetting or replacing your modem. Please suggest a solution.

                        Dear Sir

                        I would like to invite your attention to Internet connection which i
                        had taken in Apr'09.
                        1. Internet stopped working 15 days from the date of installation.
                        This was brought to the notice of the customer care and after 1 week
                        the Internet started functioning.
                        2.Again after 15 days the Internet stopped functioning. This was
                        brought to the notice of Customer Care. The Service Engineer who had
                        visited my house said that modem was not working. A new modem was
                        replaced after 5 days from the date of complaint.
                        3. Third time when I had given a complaint stating that Internet was
                        not working, the service engineer who visited informed that line had
                        got cut. Further he informed that wire connected was too long from the
                        main station which was even giving problem for clear images.
                        4. Aging within 10 days Internet stopped functioning and the service
                        engineer who visited my House told that wire was too long and was
                        crossing over buildings due to which the wire was getting cut
                        frequently. Her suggested me to switch over wireless mode.
                        I registered a complaint with customer care, it was informed that
                        request was taken.
                        after a few days when i enquired with the customer care they told me
                        that wireless connection will be installed within few days.
                        5. In spite of several requests no positive response came from your end.
                        6. Suddenly Internet was disconnected without any notice.
                        7. For no fault of mine i have mad to suffer. Please go through the
                        number of complaints registered in my number.
                        8. Furhter they had called and asked me to may the bill wihtout proper
                        internet function.
                        I had also requested for the usage charges which till date has not
                        been sent.

                            I purchased digital tv connection on 13th March

                            On 23rd April, I upgraded my connection to DVR (recorder). I paid 6990 for the connection and I was supposed to get Rs 1000 cash back into my account within 7 days as I was UPGRADING my account and am an existing customer as per the offer. Its been 2 months but yet I haven't received my cash back.

                            I called Airtel and opened a complaint. However both the times, they closed my SR by saying that I have 2 connections so I am not eligible for this. SR 2682808 and 2743150. I only have 1 connection and they keep on saying I have 2 connection.

                            I escalated the issue and they sent a customer service rep to my house to check. They confirmed that I had only 1 connection and they figured out the problem also. The old set top box that I had returned was never entered in the system. They told me that it shall be taken care within 2 days. It's been almost 10 days now but no update on this.

                            Nitesh from Airtel head office in Delhi was helping me for some time but now he is also not reachable. His number: +91-[protected]

                            My case is :- on 31 May 2010 I tried to recharge Airtel Digital TV with the help of SBI mobile banking. For that purpose I went to M-Commerce -> Merchant Payment -> I put merchant name as DigitalTV -> Merchant Data as [protected] -> Amount Rs. 100/- -> Debit from account -> Select Account to be Deducted My primary account.

                            Then I receive SMS "Request accepted for processing payment of Rs 100 to DigitalTV Code=949 Tid=[protected]" from Sender AD-SB-MS Received: 07:16:17am 31/05/2010

                            After that I receive the SMS "Rs 100 received for DigitalTV Transaction Successful OxiTransID-[protected](0) Tid=[protected]" from Sender AD-SB-MS Received: 07:16:25am 31/05/2010

                            Rs. 100 deducted from my SBI bank account Narration "TO TRANSFER
                            MB[protected] [protected]-->OXIGEN 310510 " Ref. No. "TRANSFER TO[protected]" Debit: 100

                            I contacted customer care executive of SBI on [protected] . The CCE suggested me to contact to Customer Care Executive of Airtel Digital TV. I contacted on 12150. He asked me that the case is under scrutiny and gave me the reference number as 2902980.

                            Till date I contacted CCE of Airtel Digital TV at least 10-12 times. Each time they said my complaint was closed. They asked me to mail the bank statement I mailed it 1 customer care executive told me that the issue will be solved within 48 hours. When it was not solved I contact senior customer care executive he told me that the issue will be solved within 72 hours. Now after five days of that I am posting my complaint to consumer complaints.

                              My Airtel Digital tv Customer Id is [protected]. As per above there was an offer from trip advisor site to review 3 hotels and we will get Rs. 250 recharge within 21 working days. I reviewed 3 hotels as per the offer before closing date i.e 20 th May. The offer closed on 20th May 2010 and since then it has been a month and haven't received any recharge or intimation from either airtel or trip advisor. I complained on airtel customer care many times but was in vain.
                              Are they cheating, is this fake??

                                Airtel service provider to my mobile — company is fleecing me of my money

                                Hi,
                                Actually I do not know whether anyone from Airtel will read this at all! Most probably no one will.
                                I am being sent cricket updates in spite of its being deactivated by the Airtel people themselves!! Today, to add insult to my injury, I got a thank you mail from VAS!!
                                I do not know whom to contact now to deactivate the 'cricket updates'. I am being charged for this thing in spite of repeated deactivations, and they are taking away my money!!!
                                Oh! God! Please make the concerned Airtel authorities see to the huge amount of complaints and especially my complaint. (I don't know whom else to pray to!)

                                Airtel Mobile — No action after logging complaint to Airtel

                                I have activated GPRS on my phone but I am not able to access the service after few days of activation. Its stopped automatically. There is no response from Airtel. I have called 121 which is customer care number several times. They always told that senior supervisor get back to me within half hour but there is no response. Its been harassment to me to call every time. I have called more than 15-20 to customer care. The customer care really sucks. They don't even trained on how to speak with customer. Is there any provision that I can complain to TRAI on this. Airtel service is a service and no more licensed need to given to Airtel and I rate Airtel zero if I have to rate. Its my kind request to all people never to use Airtel connection. Its been a below standard service provider. The amount of money they are investing on Ads hiring SRK or other biggies if a few percentage of that Bharti Brothers have invested on service then they might have more subscriber. I don't know how to get rid of this.

                                Airtel, Mumbai — Calls for payment already done.

                                I am a user of Airtel. And i have a compliant against getting harrassing calls. My mother, Shilpa Padhye, was having a post paid connect with Airtel, [protected]. We have disconnected this connection in Dec 2008. In Sept - Oct 2008, i was using this number and made the payment for billing amount in 1st week of Nov 2008. As i was out of India for 5 months, my mother didnt have the receipt of the payment. And your executive kept calling her for payment. I did the payment at Airtel outlet at Old Panvel. Its been 5 months that she is receiving such calls. Every month Ms. Shweta, who calls, bargains for payment. Last she told my mother to settle it for Rs. 130 against 1100/- odd amount outstanding.

                                Today I received a call from Ms. Shweta and she said she is calling from legal dept of Airtel. I think as a customer i am not to be treated like this. I am still using Airtel in Hyderabad. Its really been a nightmare to deal with this lady and also her manager who are irrational and rude. They tell me to go and check my records. If Airtel does not have record then its your internal issue. Please check with your airtel outlet rather that troublling my old mother. Its unethical. People go absconding without making payment, we have been decent enough to answer your calls.

                                Its enough of such harrasment and i do not want any such cheap collections calls for the payment done. You can check my earlier record for this number. We have always paid on time. And your people are treating us like this.

                                Airtel, Mumbai — Unfair and illegal charges

                                I had activated Tashan services on my phone. I somehow decided to discontinue that I deactivated the same and got confirmation by sms from Airtel that the service has been deactivated. I confirmed on 7th July 2009 that no services were active on my cell. I have preserved sms received from Airtel.

                                Today, I again received an sms that I am charged Rs. 20/- for a week for Tashan. I called up 121 and spoke to Rahul of Airtel and told me that Tashan was still active.

                                I told him that I have received sms from Airtel confirming that tashan was still discontinued. I asked him to reverse the charges, to which he refused.

                                Ultimately, I have discontinued Airtel immediately. I will not like to continue with a company which charges me unnecessarily and refuses to accept its faults.

                                We are using airtel phone from last 9 to 10 years, regularly we are paying the payments to airtel, but as all over slump in export market, our work and payments are realising slow, we have total outsatanding with airtel Rs 43000.00, but Airtel Exectives were coming to us for the payments and we have 3000.00 out of it, also for payments we are going abroad two times in one month, but we never denied for the payments, but airtel recovery manager calling from chandigrah tel no :[protected], here one lady called to our relatives that, they are not giving the payment to us, and making us insult in front of them, also on pralel side, she is sending exectuives to our home, Mr Ajay kuteria his mobile no is[protected] to collect the mobile payment, actually this number is from our mother name and she is already outside the country from last 8 to 9 months, we are using her number on her behalf, my self and my wife, we never denied from the payments, also we remain good customer of airtel, but putting this mental harresment on us is not lawful and manner ful, our constitution has made the court if payment is not recovered not start using abusing words, and making insult of client, this method of taking payment is not wriiten anywhere in the constitution, we start making the insult of the client to recover the payment by mentally harrising the client, so we want that employee to call for appologize to finish the matter here.

                                i have made the full payment and when i call airtel they said number will be activated in 15-20 mins...but more than 12 hours has been passed and my number is still inactive and they cut my number...when i'm calling my number its saying...the airtel number you are calling doesn't exist....i want these airtel to suied...they have make my life like hell...i'm waiting for more than 12 hours and there is no response form their side....i have to call airtel customer support from my vodafone mobile that is chargable.....really these guys sholud be suied...and must give penality..

                                I have two cell connections of Airtel & I am facing lot of balance dedustion problem on both the service number, [protected] & [protected]. I had submitted my complain lot of time on airtel customer service & each time they had booked my complain number & told me to revert back its all most three month I had waisted lot of money.

Her say me you deposit 6,500-/ Rs. in "PANKAJ SINGH" (M.D.) to S.B.I. bank A/C No-[protected] On 31.01.2011. I deposit 6,500-/ in PANKAJ SINGH. After 2 days call me that I speak to Mr.ASIF MALIK his say my you deposit Goverment tax 50,000- Rs.in tax department head "PANKAJ SING" to S.B.I. bank. I deposit 50,000-Rs.On 08.02.2011 I call ASIF MALIK after 5 days hIS say me you deposit Governent Tax 30,000-/ Rs in PANKAJ SINGH.                                 i am a airtell mobile user, my mobile NO is [protected], I have been calling customer service on 198 at chennai, i hve put a booster on 4th of june for 97 Rs.rate cutter to make Airtel calls at 10ps. since friday last, when i am making calls to customer service for asking them to restart the booster pack back, the response is very bad and they are just disconnecting the call halfway through the call, this shows how the Airtell takes care of its customers, i did not expect a response from a company like Airtel. if this is the way you respond to customer, i am sorry, but to say that i may have to change the service provider. awaiting a positive response. hari bhatia

                                Dear People,
                                Never trust airtel. They are cheats. I had given a cancellation notice to airtel and they haven't taken it. after few months they had come up with some bill and they are threatning to go to court if payment is not made. They are not able to show any proof but they blindly argue. If you are dealing any thing with airtel get a written confirmation from them. Never discuss any thing with them on phone as they cheat a lot. I am one of the victim and sharing my experinece with you. They have charged me for the services which I didn't use.

And after that it was said that to fulfil the procedure you have to deposite Rs.49,000.00 ,in A/c No.[protected].
                                After Conversation I had agreed to deposite Rs.25,000.00 and I had deposited the same amount in the said A/c No. in S.B.I. C.M.P.D.I. Branch Ranchi.

                                hi, has anyone checked for their office address as i have received a call today regarding the lottery of 25 Lacs and has been asked to pay 22500 INR for the transfer of the entire amount. If anyone is from Mumbai, they can go and check for the address which is Airtel Office, main City, bandra. Unfortunately I am from Delhi and cannot reach there to check.
                                This is embarrassing for Airtel. After receiving these many complaint there is no action. Even I received call from Vishal[protected]. After refusing the proposal also the the person is not stopping. Vishal said he is from bandra, airtel head office and my number airtel number has own 25 lacs and then gave a number - [protected] saying this is his supervisor's number.

                                I realize that while talking to this person i lost 36 rupees on just 2min 56sec and what would be the charge of next number (if i call). This is humble request to airtel people, plz take action on such advertisement. (No action means they also involved in such scam)

                                  i had purchased airtel prepaid sim card [protected] on 11th june 2010 i had given my id proof and photo sim activated on next but on 22 june service gets deactivated without any intimation once called 198 customer care they told that deactivation due id proof and address mismatch they gave me some address in which given , and they told me to ask the sim dealer,i asked dealer about that he told me there chance of mistake with distributor or ils something, i dont know where my photo and id proof went . still i dont know to should i ask?

                                    I am writing you and warn u how a company like AIRTEL doing wrong commitments with their consumers
                                    Please read all details from beginning to till date. On dated 18/5/2010 time 16:30hrs. I called at 12150 and enquired about DTH PLAN & TARRIF, at other end the person I spoken with is Pritam Singh he told me all details and when I told him that I will think and let him know later on he told me that since I am existing customer of Airtel, he has a very good DTH offer @ Rs. 999/- with 4 month subscription free of 162 channels. I found this very attractive and asked him how to proceed he told you can pay right now through Credit or Debit Card and I paid money thorough my ICICI Credit Card as he instructed me online. After payment he given me transaction ID No. 8844814 On 20/5/2010 the system installed at my place. Ok as he promised 162 channels, I found less but no complaint by me.

                                    Now I am mentally tortured when I receipt a message from Airtel DTH on dated 12/13 June that your balance is such and expiry date is 18/6/2010 immediately after receiving this message I started contacting to Airtel customer care numbers i.e.198, 121, and 1800…. ……..And lastly one gentleman told u contact at 12148. I spoken on 14/5/10 on this no. and narrated my entire story at other end some one told me we will resolve this within 24 hrs or so. I could not note down his name on this date as I am confident because I am using Airtel mobile so long I never faced any problem.

                                    On 15/6/2010 I again called at 12148. on 12:05 hrs and talk with lady named Meenakshi all details then she taken on line one Mr. Alfred he again listen my all story and said will get back on evening. Till date waiting his response.

                                    On 16/6/2010 time 14:00 hrs. I call again at 12148 then phone attended by Shashikant I asked him about my query he disconnected the line. Then again I dialed a lady named Vaishali listened all and said she will talk with her senior named Vinayak he also spoken with me and listened all and assured me he will definitely get back in the evening of 16/6/2010. Till date waiting his call.

                                    Then on 17/6/2010 I again called at 12148 on 13:10 hrs. and other end in gentleman Parshant I asked him plz connect me to Vinayak he hold me some time then said Vinayak is busy on another line he will call u later, no response till I am waiting his call.

                                    In this regard I emailed them 4 times from dated 14/6/2010 at [protected]@airtel.in. Only auto response that we received your query that’s all. Still waiting for reply. Nothing from email and nothing from customer care.

                                    All whom I spoken said we will check your recording with Pritam Singh, nothing happened till date.

                                    My only concern is that they are a Company not a shopkeeper who made false promises then backs out. But if they behave like this then AIRTEL WILL BECOME HISTORY SOON.

                                      2. I was told that I could get the bill plan changed at any point in time.

                                      3. I would now like my bill plan changed to MOD 699 1 Year plan with immediate effect.

                                        Dear Sir,

                                        I was having Airtel Dish since last three years or so.Customer ID[protected].In the last week the channels were over-lapping and no clear picuture was available on
                                        my TV. I have made comlaint in the last week of April 2010.It is stated that it may be
                                        a local problem,get chacked dish and cable connection.it was found accurate.There was problem in set-top box.They didn't depute any technician to check.Ultimately
                                        I have taken fresh connection of Airtel at the cost of Rs.l597/ on 5th may 2010.And
                                        on 3rd may I had informed that pl.discontinue my services and refund blance which
                                        was Rs.169//They are refusing even they are not prepared to add that balnce in my
                                        present connection which is obtained in the identical name and place.From this
                                        con I have received plathoria of incorrect messages stating that there is no sufficient
                                        balance and services may be discontinued.One incident is surprising to-day I have
                                        made recharge of Rs.100They have confirmed but they have admitted this recharge
                                        in old ID.In past I had not made in recharge for espn although I had recieved sms
                                        stating that top-up has been made and deduction of Ra.30/-+tax was deducted from
                                        my balance.On complaint they have accepted that the re-charge pertains to some
                                        Hariyana customer.But they did not allow reverse credit.Not even started channel
                                        espn.On the first day it was made clear to them that I am not going to order for
                                        film or top-up.I am only interested in small value Rs.127/ +taxes,therefore ignore
                                        any top-up.
                                        2. On the facts stated above,I have to request you to do something to help me
                                        because I am aged 70years and not keeping well.
