    Suddenly my TV stopped working and when I am checking for support in Airtel app, they are asking me for service charges.
    We haven't done anything but why should I pay.

        After deactivating my internet connection, they agreed to refund the money via check.

        I de-activated the connection in September 2020 and they asked 90 days time to reach the check at my location which is not received yet.

            Hello Sir/Mam,
            The client (Mr. Ayush Gupta, Petitioner ) was recently contacted by Mr. Mukesh Jaiswal who is in charge of the marketing department to upgrade Airtel technology upgrade from technology change from VDSL to FTTH wherein reliable speed is provided o[censored]p to 100 Mbps and was charged an upgrading cost of Rs 2122 including GST of which proper bill is yet to be furnished by Airtel. My client was also informed that he will get a higher amount of bill for at least 3 months which can be used to reimburse from the client's employer through which both the parties (Airtel Marketeer and Petitioner) can be benefitted learning to which my client expressed denial.

            Post that my client discovered that instead o[censored]pgrading the new connection, he is given an altogether newer connection ([protected]_DSL) and the old connection is still incurring charges. In the wake of finding two connections at one place for the same address and email ID, My client enquired Mr. Mukesh to disconnect the older connection and asked for a refund for the extra amount of 5 days that will be charged in the next billing cycle for the old connection until the date of disconnection. Not being answerable to the complaint, Mr. Mukesh gave Ayush an offer of Rs 100 - Rs 200 to suppress the matter and get ongoing with the new connection.

            As an esteemed customer of Airtel, My Client escalated this issue to the higher authorities through proper channel informing the situation confronted and asked for clarification of the equivalent of which customer care responded stating that "Yes Ayush, the complication you have faced is a fraud and a strict action will be talked against the person who gave you new connection instead o[censored]pgraded connection" and they assured Ayush full refund of the connection. Forewarning that the old connection was valuable in the sense that the contact number is shared among relatives he was also told that your old connection will be restored with no extra charges and upgraded technology.

            Ayush got several spam calls after the request in which he was enquired about the reason for disconnection with no resolution provided including one from Mr. Anil Sahu, Marketing head of the Bhopal division who told Ayush not to escalate the matter to a higher level and let's resolve the issue at its best interest. Another call was received wherein the Engineer's visit to the place was assured.

            Post which Petitioner is yet to be contacted by Airtel even after paying outstanding bills on time.

            We believe the regarded issue has surfaced to a lot of pertinent users and they must have paid installation charges for the new connection even if installation charges are not required for existing user accounts. Subsequently, even if the issue is resolved, the matter must be taken to the grievance cell for proper redressal of the issue and my client gets the best possible resolution in the nearest of time.

            To summarize the details, we found Airtel to be held liable for the following reasons -
            1. Not informing my client of the New connection and New Landline number. Now new landline contact details have to be shared among the client's relatives and friends.
            2. Putting self-interest before client's for commission as sources suggest that Airtel offers higher commissions for new connection instead of degradation.
            3. Keep incurring charges for the old connection when a new connection is established,
            4. Offering money under the table to suppress the request.
            5. Spamming user for enquiring disconnection request.
            6. Wrong promises of speedy response and full refund of accountability including a token of apology.

            I expect full remuneration for the time and money spent and look forward to your replies in the shortest time.
            The client has a few details as evidence including undefined bill receipt for Rs 2112, emails shared, and call recordings.

            The facts hereby mentioned above are true to the best of my knowledge and belief and nothing has been concealed therein.

              On 2 January 2021 i had opted for porting from BSNL/Bihar to AIRTEL/Bihar.

              Then I received a confirmation SMS from Airtel stating the number will be switched to Airtel by 06 January 2021 12:30:00 AM.

              At the same time current operator (BSNL) number stopped working assuming Airtel would be activated.

              When i inserted Airtel SIM card i recieved two SMS from Airtel
              1.Thank you for choosing Airtel! We are setting up your services please wait.
              2. Your services have been set. Please restart your handset.

              So i restarted my phone and there's no signal at all. Airtel is yet to activate my number.

              Disappointed.

                  I am facing a lot of frustration. Got at least 50 follow up calls for bill payment against incorrect Broadband connection.
                  There was offer for new Airtel connection - fiberoptic during May'20 at our complex. I already had copper connection and wanted to upgrade.
                  My details were taken by the team and then I was told that since it is upgrade I need to reach nearest Airtel gallery.
                  I reach Airtel Gallery at Hiranandani Mildows in Thane during 1st week of August'20. I was told that upgrade will be done.
                  While this upgrade was done the team connected fiber optic and taken away my copper modem. The broadband number connected by this team was new which I realized the after 15 days of connection. I had a lot of follow up and with the help of Nodal officer Airtel got my old number reconnected and upgraded. I had paid all dues against my old number which is used by me for more than 10 years now.
                  I had reached Customer care. Send formal complaint mail to Nodal officer Airtel, Mumbai but still I am getting calls for Bill payment.
                  Request concrete action against all such calls received.

                        I am using Airtel mobile number - +91 [protected]
                        I have Rs.493 in the main balance but unable to recharge using the main balance. USSD shows the plans 399 and 449 but not showing the confirm option to confirm the plan. And Airtel app do not have the payment via account main balance option.

                          I have purchased Fastag via Airtel Thanks App in Sep-2020 and it is still not delivered. I consistently waited for a month and started following up with Airtel Payments Bank support, but it is not resolved till now. I have tried all possible ways talking to Airtel and DTDC courier, but none of them acting on it. Last week Airtel executive recommended to Activate it in the App and he will initiate request on deactivating it, which he can do it only after activating it. I see in NHAI and in Airtel app FAQs that a new Tag can be issued in case of lost tags. But I am not getting any proper response from Airtel and also tired of calling their 400 number where there is no option to report issue related to Fastag. I always need to report an issue on Payments Bank and wait for their call back. This is really frustrating. Please advise.

                                Hi Airtel! I had taken an year long plan of airtel broadband[protected]_dsl in indore in August 2020. Due to unforeseen circumstances, I had to shift to jodhpur in November 2020. I had raised a request to shift my connection to jodhpur but it was not available as confirmed by airtel team. They told me the refund amount of around Rs 7500 will be processed in 45 days. It has been more then 60 days but there has been no refund or update of any sort. I hoped airtel service would be much better as compared to jio but the experience has been pathetic. Please let me know what I need to do to get the refund asap.

                                I am Head HR of a reputed infra construction company Hyderabad. We have been calling one airtel manager Mr. Nawab Pasha Mobile No:[protected]. Last ten days he has been promising that he would come or send one of his team members. even after ten days nothing has happened;

                                even calls on 121 and 198 are of no use.

                                Thanks AIrtel for your dis-service to corporates also. I wish one day because of Jios aggressive customer service attitude, Airtel would disappear from the Indian market; thanks to its Managers like Mr. Nawab P:asha.

                                  I had a post paid number which was kept under safe custody with Airtel India. The account had enough money to keep the number under safe custody for a long time but somehow Airtel decided to disconnect the number with any informing me about it.
                                  I have been trying to get Airtel to get me my number back as I had that number for more than 10 years and most of my contacts know that number. Airtel’s email reply are so bad that, no one reads the emails and keeps telling me to come to a store to get a new number.
                                  Airtel customer support has been worse, they never call me back, I have spent more than 4000 Rs in the last two months to get some information about why the number was disconnected and how to get it back. Each time they need 48 hours to get back to me but they never do actually get back. I have to call them again and then they again ask for 48 hours. Most of the times their support has tried to blame me for this disconnection (which is not the case). I have been told the following,
                                  1. You took it out of safe custody (reading an email from last to last year).
                                  2. You have not been using the phone. (A phone under safe custody can’t be used)
                                  3. There was no money on the account. (It had credit on the it and it was disconnected after which they have supposedly sent me that money back via check, which I can’t confirm as I am not in India. Also I never asked them to do so, that money was to keep the safe custody in play).
                                  4. One guy told me that I have to send them an email every month to keep it in safe custody (I was never notified of any such policy change, I used to turn on the safe custody and keep it on till I wanted to use the number).

                                  Airtel social media services are another place where I tried. Let me tell you these guys are even worse. They don’t read any messages and also laugh at you when you are trying to explain them your problem. They asked me to send a family member to Delhi store to just check the availability of the number (which somehow the customer care can not do internally). When I did send someone to the store, the store told my family that the number is with Vodafone now (it was ported from Vodafone). When they visited to Vodafone, they confirmed that Airtel has still not sent the number back. Now they both are making my family run around in stores just because Airtel does not care about their customers.

                                      Hello Team,
                                      I have a broadband connection from Airtel at my residence in Padmanabhanagar. I have been their customer since 2010. From last 3-4 months there has been issue related to the speed and every hour internet is getting dropped and speed is very slow. Download speed is 25mbps and upload is 0.05mbps
                                      Initially I opted for 999 plan where the I used to get around 60mbps and around 9mbps upload speed and when this issue started technician advised saying the line doesn’t support this speed and hence there is drop in internet. Later I changed to 499/- plan where the speed should be around 40mbps
                                      This happened during Aug/sep 2020 time frame and post change of plan still my internet used to drop every hour and it takes about 10-12 mins to get booted again.
                                      Technician did all possible checks and changed modem (twice) replaced wire coming from DP/pole and still issue is same
                                      The backend team are not accepting and very arrogant in understanding the problem and their responses.
                                      they are not coming up proper fix for my issue

                                      In a day more than 20 times this issues is happening and after many tickets and escalations still the same issue
                                      Still they haven’t laid out the fiber cable as well in this area.
                                      I don’t have other options. See attached screenshot of speed.
                                      With this speed how can they expect to do office work ?
