Airtel — my 10 year old phone number allotted to someone else in just 3months
I have been using my mobile number [protected] for past 10 years plus. I recently was in gujrat for 9months. before 3moths ago my sim corroded and it's shoes no signal.
Due to covid and the sim was on my mother I'd, and it's not safe to send my mother out during corona I complained airtel care evening and they denied to give the sim without my mom presence where my mom lives in Andra Pradesh. My work location is Gujarat.
I tried to apply when I'm in home and it was already alloted to someone else before a month ago.
This number is update in all my bank accounts, pan detail, aadhaar account. My privacy is at risk as all the sms (Verification code, otp, urn) still goes to this number and i am fully prone to fraud as well because of exposed information. How irresponsibly my 10 years old number was allocated to some one else. After this long service i did not expect airtel to act so irresponsible which put mt at very high risk. Kindly take this matter urgently and give me chance to re activate my number. Thanks & regards,
