Worst Experience......When i connect my SIM its saying registration failed...

Hello,Â

I have facing issue with my number for the past 4 days. My new number i have call forwarded to my airtel landline number when iam out of town, now i connected my SIM to my mobile it is saying registration failed. But call forward is still in active.

I called 121 from my another number and informed them they done all the work they can but still it is not resolved at last they asked me to change the SIM card which might be the problem and i did that too on Saturday Evening 7pm (5th Sep) and informed the new sim number to backend team from Kodambakkam Airtel showroom, they said it will be active in 12 hrs. I called today and checked with Airtel and they said new SIM number is not updated. I dont know whats happening with your updation process. When i ask to connect to escalation officer or higher authority or to give me the complaint number they are not doing it. The number which stated in my email for escaltion [protected]-nodal officer & [protected] appellate authority always in busy.

I need someone to answer what happened to my old sim and what the status of the new sim number i gave to airtel and when this problem can be fixed. Pls treat this as priority and expecting your favourable response. Really worried of choosing airtel, this is my office CUG connection i need to forward your response to my management.

Airtel Postpaid — number is not working

my name is neelu narang my mobile no. is [protected] . my mobile phone is not working from 28/04/08 at 2.00 pm i complaint at m block connaught place airtel relation ship office more then 3 times but my mobile is not activated every time they says you wait 1-2 hours but at this time my mobile is not working.

I got duplicate sim from Airtel M -Block Cannaught Place on 05.01.2008 morning. The outgoing and incoming is still barred untill now. Mobile # [protected].

I am verymuch thankful to AIRTEL for working without interuption. Last month i taken LIFE TIME connection bearing number [protected]. From last four days incomming is not working and not getting calls.
Kindly rectify the above said problem at the earliest.

    Dear Sir,

    This is to inform you that I have a prepaid mobile connection from Airtel No. [protected]. Lately from 26th August 2009 I am having a problem with the balance on my account. My account is debited continuously on account of downloading songs and Subscribing to Hello Tunes without my knowledge or consent. I have never ever subscribed to Hello Tunes or downloaded any song on my number but these are getting activated on my number continuously. The sequence of events is as follows:

    1. On 26th August 09 Bal on my mobile was Rs 114.79. At around 09.15 pm I received two sms stating that my acct has been debited Rs 15/- and Rs 30/- on for subscription to Hello Tunes and downloading song which I had never subscribed for. This brought my balance down to Rs 69.79. I spoke to Mr. Rahul at your Customer Service Dept at around 09.30 pm and he informed that this was happening due to technical error at your end; He also agreed to refund the debited amount back. The transaction Id for this was [protected]. He also deactivated the services of hello tunes after I tols him that this was activated without my consent or knowledge and I do not require these services.

    2. On 27th August 09 my account was again debited for Rs 62/- for subscription to Hello tunes and downloading songs again without my knowledge and consent. This brought my balance down to Rs 7.79. I spoke to Mr. Ankit at your customer service dept at approx 11.00 am and he refunded back Rs 47/- online. Ref Id for this is [protected]. The balance was 54.79 now. I received a call from your airtel assuring that the balance amount of Rs 60/- will also be refunded approx around 12.35 am. Ankit confirmed he is deactivating the services of hello tunes from his end and I would not face any problems later.

    3. Again on 27th August 09 my account got further debited for Rs 25/- at around approx 2.45 pm for subscription to Hello tunes and downloading songs again without my knowledge and consent bringing my balance down to 29.79. I spoke to Ms Bhavna at your customer service dept from your GK II Outlet and she refunded back Rs 30/- approx around 3.45 pm. bringing the balance upto 59.79.

    4. Again at around 4.30 pm on 27th August 09 there was a further deduction of Rs 45/- for subscription to Hello tunes and downloading songs again without my knowledge and consent bringing my balance down to 14.79. I spoke to Mr Vinod at Customer Service Dept at around 6.50 pm the ref id for this is[protected].He also promised that he is deactivating the services of hello tunes.

    5. In the morning of 28th Aug 09 I spoke to Mr. Akshan at customer service at around 10.15 am regarding deductions due to Hello Tune Preview Manager. He transferred the call to Mr. Tauseef who once again confirmed that Rs 60/- will be refunded on 28th August 09 and ref id for this is [protected]. He also agreed to refund Rs 45/- online. I told him there is no point since it will again get debited within 20 - 30 minutes automatically for this hello tune service and downloading songs again without my knowledge and consent. He assured it would not happen since he is deactivating the services. He also confirmed refunds will be done on 28th August 09 and ref id for this is [protected].

    6. On 28th August refund of Rs 60/- was done by Airtel and I received a call at 01.20 pm for the same. I spoke to Mr. Rajesh Chauhan at your Customer Service at around 8.30 pm and got a refund of Rs 40/- . Ref Id for the same is [protected].



    7. On 29th August 09 there was deductions once again on my account due to activation of News Pack once again without my knowledge or consent. I spoke to Mr. Mumtaz and Mr. Naren regarding this at around 9.45 am. They registered me once again for DO NOT DISTURB SERVICE although I had previously registered for it. I spoke to Mr. Sameer who is a Floor Incharge at your Customer Service and he refunded back the amount debited. The ref id for this is[protected]. This refunded brought my account balance to the correct amount.

    8. But unfortunately again on the morning of 06th Sept 09 I found money deducted from account for subscribing to Pre Listen options once again without my knowledge and consent. I spoke to Mr. Shahbaz regarding this. The complaint id for this is[protected]. Again in the afternoon at around 2.00 pm there were further deductions and that is when I decided to visit your Gurgaon Sahara Mall Customer Service to sort this inspite of being very busy. I visited your Office at Sahara Mall and by then I found out there had been further continuous deductions on my acct when I checked my balance bringing my acct balance to Rs 9.79. In fact my balance got deducted while I was in your office in front of your personnel and I showed it to them. They could not give me any satisfactory solution to why this was happening automatically. I met Mr. Mohnish there and he refunded back Rs 100/- on my account saying that Airtel Live is getting activated in my acct. he also confirmed that he is deactivating the Services which were active and also showed me message regarding
    that. There were no further deductions on 06th Aug 09 or 7th August Morning and Afternoon. I MUST POINT OUT HERE THAT THROUGHOUT THIS DURATION THE MOBILE WAS CONSTANTLY WITH ME AND SWITCHED OFF IN THE NIGHT OF 06TH AUG AND 07TH AUG. Again on 08th Aug morning I get a sms saying that Rs 15/- has been further deducted for downloading some song which I am not aware of without my knowledge and consent. I spoke to Mr Mohnish who had given me his mobile number [protected] and works at your Sahara Mall Outlet. He told me to contact Customer Service to speak regarding this. I called Customer Service at 10.10 am on 08th September 09 and spoke to Mr. Abhijit who confirmed that Airtel Live Services were still active on my acct inspite of Mr. Mohnish deactivating them on 06th Sep. And I had not subscribed for any AIRTEL ADDITIONAL SERVICES AND NEITHER DO I WISH TO SUBSCRIBE FOR THESE. Mr. Abhijit confirmed that this is happening due to technical fault at your end and agreed to refund the money that had got debited. The ref id for this is 08119275. I also spoke to Mr. Mohnish once again regarding this who insisted that this was happening due to my fault.

    I am requesting you to kindly look into this matter and solve this once and for all because I am sick and tired of calling your Customer Service every second day regarding this and not getting any permanent solution about this. There is no point you refunding me the money and it again getting debited automatically. Hence I request you to kindly investigate my case with your Technical Department and give me a solution to this. I have been unable to contact your Technical Department inspite of trying numerous times. If you are unable to offer me a solution to this then I will be left with no other option but to cancel and discontinue my all other AIRTEL connections eg. Other mobile, landlines and Broadband.

    I hope you will look into this matter and offer me a permanent solution for this matter.

    Airtel India — amount of 100 rupee is debited

    My name is zubin hafezi .from surat Gujarat India my mobile no is [protected]
    using airtel prepaid card from three year …on 4-3-08 @ 10.59 I got a sms from 69699 that airtel online service is activated and a amount of 100 rupee is debited from my account but I had not sent any sms to activated any service and when I had called customer care @ 121 they had no reply to give me . so I do my 100 rupees is gone and even I don’t know how to use this service. The customer care service is Horrible customer care service ever seen so any one help me out what I do ???? please help me out

    Airtel — Unnecessarily debited Rs 100

    I have been debited Rs 100 INR. from my Airtel lifetime prepaid ([protected]) on 06.06.2008 at 10.05 pm. After calling customer care they tell no details are available for such debit from your balance

    Airtel Prepaid Connection — Deduction of money with out my consent in account of 'Hello Tune' I never asked for

    I have been receiving one sided ‘SMS’ from Airtel (HELLO TUNE) services(since few months) what I always keep on ignoring (with out bothering same), but now I have been noticing regular deduction of money from my A/c(mobile no.[protected]) which is really surprising to me and disgusting as well.
    Then, I contacted customer care of Airtel(No.[protected]) and asked to revert back all the money deducted in this ground so far by describing entire dissatisfaction in this issue.
    But, I yet to receive any positive reply or action in favor of me.
    Therefore, I would like to request you to please look into this matter on priority basis at the earliest.

    THE CONCERN HAS NOT BEEN RESOLVED YET BECAUSE I THINK AIRTEL DOES NOT BELEIVE IN RESOLVING PROBLEMS FACED BY CUSTOMERS THEY ARE JUST INTERESTED IN FLEECING CUSTOMERS. I HAVE AGAIN GOT CHARGED RS 15/- TODAY 14TH SEPTEMBER 2009 FOR "PRELISTEN OPTIONS OF HELLO TUNES" WITHOUT MY CONSENT AND AUTHORISATION INSPITE OF BEING PROMISED BY BOTH OF YOU THAT THESE CHARGES WILL NOT BE DEDUCTED AGAIN ON MY ACCT. IF THIS DOES NOT GET RESOLVED IN THE NEXT 24 HRS AND IF A WRITTEN ASSURANCE THAT IT WILL NOT HAPPEN AGAIN IS NOT GIVEN TO ME THEN I SHALL PROCEED TO TAKE LEGAL ACTION AGAINST AIRTEL.

    Airtel prepaid balace debited without my requesting any services. — Request for refund the debited amount.

    I have two prepaid airtel connection in my name. One is [protected] and other is [protected] with lifetime validity and 60 paise per minutes call rate for the both numbers.
    I exactly not remembered but from the 1st day of December, 2009 to date i.e. 25/02/2010 my available balance was debited by airtel without authorised them or requesting or unising dilling any services by me and redueced to nil in respect of my mobile no. [protected].
    In the same way, many times between the period from the month of October, 2009 to date i.e. 25/02/2010 my available balance was debited by airtel without authorised them or requesting or unising dilling any services by me and redueced to nil in respect of my mobile no. [protected] also.
    In view of the above, I request to provide the details of charges with services for which the amount has been debited in the account of my both mobiles through my email address i.e. hr.[protected]@nic.in. I further request that the amount debited in my both accounts may please be refunded to me at the earliest to keep me with airtel for ever.
    I have airtel prepaid phone, and they debit early more than 100 Rs. by enabling some portal service on my phone. After asking they told you only enable sir and told cannot refund but will disable

    Again recently they activated Hello Tune on my phone and deducted 30 Rs. after asking same answer you activated Sir and we cannot refund

    Stupid hole after asking that did you record the conversation of activating from my side. I get an answer we do not record this Sir.

    Airtel is playing tricks and making money from poor people, specially Prepaid as they do not know how much is getting dedecuted.

    Airtel — Unnecessary money debited from my mobile

    I took a new airtel connection phone no. [protected] and in a span of 3 monthss since the connection started , value-added services (VAS) automatically are activated on my phone 6 times, without my knowledge and consent and amounts are debited from my prepaid account.
    I have complained to airtel all 6 times, they are so shameless they keep repeating the same fraud again and again.
    The same cheating 6 times in 3 MONTHS

    Please refer to my earlier mail dated 30.5.2011. I am re-submitting the complaint as under.
    I am the holder the your Airtel Mobile No.[protected] and to state that I am not satisfied with the services provided by you. Rs.15/- was, some time back, deducted by you unnecessarily and later refunded up my request to the Customer Care. Inter-alia, I requested to activate Do Not Disturb on my number, but again after 2-3 days Rs.30/- was deducted. I complaint to the Customer Care, who later informed that the amount will not be refunded and till date I have not been refunded the same.

    A couple of months back also, the amount was deducted and not refunded.

    I request you to please look into the matter and instruct the concerned to refund the deducted amount immediately.

    I further state that I do not want any promotional call and SMS etc. on my number where any amount is charged for activating the services.

    Bharti Airtel / Prepaid Mobile Connection — services activated without my consent

    I am using airtel prepaid mobile connection from last 5 years... since last 6 month it has been observert that the airtel live/ airtel blog service active in every month in my connection without my concent & debit the charges... now airtel blog service activet in my connection since feb 2011 & also activate one more service from 27th june which couse to deduct Rs 2 per day... & when i called to customer care no one ready to trasfer call to senior person.... & again activate the hello tune on 30th june without my concent & debit Rs. 45.. I am frustate because of this service now i want my all my money which deducted because of services activated without my concent

      I activated DND service on my Mobile No. [protected] in march 2008, Till today that is 07/09/09 am still receiving Aidvertisment SMS on my cell. They are coming daily basis, in a day i receive minimum 3 to 4 SMS. Some times i loose my concentration because sms comes at very stupid tiimings like, 11.00pm or 8.00 am. Called many times to Airtel, they just give me complaint number thats it. Nothing changes after that. Acoording to me , what i think that mobile service providers sells our consumer database at very high price, which is 100% profit for them. Now they have given our database to telemarketers and now they cannot stop it. Please anybody suggest me how to file complaint against Airtel in Police.

      Airtel Prepaid — Charging higher price

      Hi Team,

      I already posted my compalint and not getting any response from Airtel. And also I am unable to contact customer service to discuss the same for past 20 days.

      They are not responding my complaints.

      They are charging for me 1 reupee instead of 10 paise.

      I need a solution to stop this nusence or I need to talk to some higher level officer in Airtel so that they will help something to fix my issue.

      Otherwise I need to change my network and I will inform to all our facebook and orkut friend to don't use Airtel in future it is a fraud company and not taking care of customers issue.
      I recharged with #200, after browsing, i was left with #171, then i made a call for 02:14 and i was charged #57 instead of about #18:47. Which means I was charged higher than what your marketer told me on the 10 september "that u charge all network #9.00 per min and 3kb daily for browsing". Now, i was charged for browsing and also charged very high for call. If it continues this way i will drop this network and tell people. I just started using this network newly please try n do somthing about it. Thanks.

        Please discontinue airtel wap. They are simply deducting the money.
        my 10 rs always gets less also when im not using airtel wap service my no [protected] please solve my problem
        I am not using Airtel Live but still from my Balance Rs 10 gets deducted and a message comes to me from 64611010 stating...You've been renewed for (archie_comics_wap, ComicStrip) subscription service on Airtel WAP. You 've been charged Rs 10

          Sir,

          I have repeatedly informed you through Email that my Airtel mobile connection (Number-[protected] ) is to be disconnected. You have also acknowledged my request through at least two Emails, the last one was dated 16th May. But what you have done is not to disconnect inspite of receiving repeated request from me and you still keeping sending me bills for the connection. Disconnection is in your hands. Whether you want to do it or not is again in your hands, but don’t expect me to keep on paying. Please disconnect the mobile connection immediately and stop sending bills for the same to me. If you don’t disconnect it don’t expect me to pay your fictitious bills. I am going to send a complaint to the telecom authorities and to a number of consumer fora. And please be clear about it that I would not be paying any of your fictitious bills even if you don’t disconnect the mobile connection. I am attaching two of the Emails sent to me by you in response to my request for disconnection, the last one being dated 16th May 2009.

          On deliberating on your strange lack of response when it comes to disconnection I realize that you have a very clear plan of action. If a person with a post paid Airtel connection requests for disconnection, your strategy is not to disconnect but to keep on sending the bills with the hope that you will be able to extract money at least from some of the customers.

          Airtel — FICTITIOUS PAYMENT DEMAND

          MY AIRTEL POSTPAID MOBILE NO WAS [protected]. AFTER JAN 2009 I HAVE PRACTICALLY NOT USED THE PHONE OUTGOING FACILITIES AND YET KEPT QUIETLY PAYING RENTALS TILL BILLING PERIOD ENDING ON 19TH APRIL 09, BEFORE DUE DATE. AIRTEL HAD DISCONNECTED MY LINE FROM MARCH 09 WITHOUT INFORMING OR GIVING ANY REASON. SINCE I WAS NOT USING THE OUTGOING, I DIDNOT BOTHER ABOUT IT.

          THEREAFTER NO BILL IS RECEIVED FROM AITEL. SUDDENLY, I RECEIVED A DEMAND LETTER FROM AIRTEL DTD 3RD JULY 09 GIVING A NOTICE TO PAY RS. 535/- AND THREATENING TO TAKE LEGAL ACTION IF NOT PAID. 2ND LETTER OF THE SAME TYPE IS RECEIVED DTD 4TH AUG 09 GIVING COTACT PERSON'S NAME AVINASH AGHASE MOBILE NO.                   on 26 august 2009 Ms.Jothi of AIRTEL Broad Band division, T-Nagar Branch called me for AIRTEL Broadband connection. She sent one Excutive to my residence to collect document & payment, same day I was giving cheque amount of 1000. He told me your connection is installed within three day to five days.On 28th & 29th august I Called [protected] Ms.Jothi told me your application today only login i.e.27.08.2009 so you will get connection sat or Monday again I am requested due to my online examination I required Broad Band connection activities urgently before sat 06.00pm or possibly Sunday before 11.00am then She said maximum try my best level, After the call no information at all till today i.e.04.09.2009 even today about 2.00pm I given call to Broad Band Customer care No.[protected] along with my application No. CH874332 one of Ms. Revathi who is attend my call, she said your application details are not available in our system. Please contact concern branch so you will get information and I am asked provide compliant no for my conversation of my connections, just simply she said sorry unable us to give compliant #. because of your application is not login our system unable us to accept your compliant. If not provide Broadband connection they spouse to infirm me but no information at all. Please take necessary action about my connection and do the needful.

                  Today i.e. Saturday(05.09.2009) they are accepted my compliant and provide me Compliant # 23980310 / 05.09.2009.

                  Based on my compliant please take necessary action against my compliant and expecting favourable reply then only I can able accept my connection.

                        I am A.Venkata Krishnaiah and I am using Micromax Q5 handset and I had taken prepaid airtel connection. Unknowingly one day I got a verification call from airtel and I was busy to catch the citybus and was not able to respond them. By the next minute they had sent me the SMS that they are going to bar my services. After then I had contacted the customer care and had again submitted my ID & Address. Finally I came to know from the customer care that the verification team had barred my No:[protected] as they found a mismatch in the telephonic verification. I had requested them to make physical verification and still there is no response from the airtel team.

                        I had expressed that I may not be able to attend the calls while I am in traffic or in meetings and It doesnt create any sense in disconnecting the services without further verification.

                                This is to complain about a VERY VERY BAD experience of customer care service for AIRTEL digital TV, I am writing this mail because as a customer currently I am feeling helpless to get any kind of help either from AIRTEL customer care No.[protected] or from mail id [protected]@airtel.com.

                                I have a AIRTEL digital TV at my home, on 2nd September at night I recharged my account with 100/- Rs. as my account balance was negative, I have 3 TOPUPs enable in my account HINDI PLUS, KIDS PLUS & CINE PLUS, after recharging the account I called up at customer care on[protected] from my registered mobile No. [protected].

                                As far as I know in CINE PLUS TOPUP there is two options for activating the channels, either you can activate STARMOVIES, HBO, MGM & SONY PIX or you can Activate other bunch of 4 English movie channels in which STARMOVIES & HBO would stay common in both options(I know this because at the first time when I activated the TOPUP the Customer Care Executive has told me this information), so when I called up Mr. Himanshu has attended my call, I asked him to provide me information about channels available in CINE PLUS TOPUP, surprisingly he told me that he is not allowed to provide the information about the channels available in any TOPUPS, I told him many times that previously Customer Care Executive has only provided me the information of channels but he just kept on saying that he is not allowed, I asked him for any alternative and he gave answer that " CONTACT YOUR DEALER" !!!!!!!!!!! Is this true??????????? do I have to contact my dealer for information regarding TOPUP activation? then what's the use of toll free Customer care?

                                After this much useless conversation I asked him to provide me any telephone no where I can do complain about this, but again the same answer I AM NOT ALLOWED TO PROVIDE IT, Then I asked his name he told me his name as Himanshu, I asked for full name because if there would be more then 1 Himanshu then how will I decide with whom I have talked, and you might be shocked to here that he told me HE IS NOT ALLOWED TO TELL HIS FULL NAME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!, I said it's ok don't tell me your name just make me talk to your Senior and he put me on hold for a long time and some one else came on the call, he told me that he is Senior of Mr. Himanshu (Actually I know he was not Himanshu's Senior, he was just another executive sitting next to Himanshu), I simply asked him his name first but even after asking for 10 times he was not telling me his name, at last when he was not having any other option he told me his name and can you imagine what would be his name?????? SURPRISINGLY his name was also Himanshu........... I asked the same question to him and he provided me information about the Channels available in CINE PLUS, he told me name of 6 to 7 HINDI channels are available in CINE PLUS, I asked him 3 to 4 times, are you sure this all channels are available with CINE PLUS?, he said yes Then I informed him that CINE PLUS is not a Hindi channels TOPUP, it's a ENGLISH MOVIE channels TOPUP and he was speechless, he asked me to be on hold and after a while he told me THERE IS SOME TECHNICAL PROBLEM SO DUE TO THAT I WOULD NOT BE ABLE TO PROVIDE YOU WITH THE INFORMATION, and without informing me he handed over the call to Mr. Himanshu.

                                After the call handed over to Mr. Himanshu he changed his answer from I AM NOT ALLOWED TO PROVIDE to THERE IS SOME TECHNICAL PROBLEM AND I CAN NOT SEE THAT INFORMATION ON MY SYSTEM SO NOT ABLE TO PROVIDE THE INFORMATION.

                                Now can you Imagine how long this talk would have went on??? it was 29 Min. long call and at the end I was helpless neither I got any information about TOPUP nor about any telephone No. for complain, after this call I again called on toll free No. and selected TECHNICAL HELP option from IVR menu by pressing 3 on my cell, that call got disconnected as soon as I reached to the executive so I again tried to call the toll free No. but it was not getting connected so I called from other Mobile No. [protected] available with me, This time I reached to Technical Help Executive Mr. Kiran (Again no full name because I asked him his name at the end of call and he was knowing that I am going to complain for the issue) I asked him about any telephone no. where i can do complain but he REFUSED my request and asked me what is the issue, I explained my experience and request to provide me the information about TOPUP, But as I was expecting he was not having any knowledge about the TOPUP so I haven't got any information and I cut the call.

                                I humbly request you to take some actions against Mr. Himanshu and his Senior Mr. Himanshu!!!!, I also hope that I will get some reply from your end.

                                  My name is Manish Kumar and I am using Reliance phone number [protected]. Since last few months I have been harrased by Airtel Tele Callers for some pending payments from someone by the name of Mr Gopal Mohan. In last few months I have received around few hundred calls from their call center / Tele Callers / Collection Agents. I have been telling them that its a wrong number and I don't know anyone by the name of Gopal Mohan but still I keep receiving the calls again and again.
                                  I am receiving these calls almost anytime and even sometimes on Sunday.
                                  Last week a collection agent called me and threaten me of paying the bill. He even gave his Employee ID and told me that I can do whatever I want and they will not stop calling me till they get the money. Below are few details:
                                  Employee Name : Ram Das Gulati
                                  Employee ID : 3245
                                  After I inquired about the case details Mr Gulati told me that the Case ID is 13499410 against the name of Mr Gopal Mohan resident of 75, Jagrata Marg, DLF CIty, Phase 3, Gurgaon. I asked them to kindly go to the address and speak to the person istead of harrasing me. Mr Gulati once again refused and told me that they will keep calling me as long as this number will be there in their database. Below are some details of the calls I have received in last 10 Days.

                                  Hi,
                                  I had an airtel mobile connection in the year 2010, i had raised a complaint regarding my bills in the month of November 2010 for which they never replied and disconnected the service, now some recovery agents are calling from airtel to the people i know and threatening them to make the payments, telling my name. the number from were the call is coming is[protected]. please do let me know what i need to do, i have communicated the problem many times to airtel customer care and no one has responded back.

                                    This is to inform you that I am the Airtel Braodband customer (A/c ID:[protected] since 15th February 2008 and paying my broadband bills on time.

                                    On August 21st 2009, I have requested for the shifting of DP from the Wall of Neighbour’s house that was going to be broken for their reconstruction work. But the DP hadn’t shifted till 24th of August (the wall was broke that night). Then I re-complain for the above on 24th August.
                                    Every time I was assured by the Customer Care Executive that it will be resolved by tomorrow. But the case is still unresolved. I am mentioning below the dates of complain.

                                    Airtel — non shifting of phone and misleading

                                    I SHIFTED MY RESIDENCE WITHIN THE SAME LOCALITY ON 1ST JUNE, 2010 AND GAVE A REQUEST FOR SHIFTING OF PHONE ON 03.06.2010. THE RECORDS OF THE COMPANY WOULD REVEAL THAT I HAVE BEEN CALLING ALMOST ON A DAILY BASIS AND WAS ASSURED THAT THE JOB WOULD BE DONE WITHIN 24 HOURS OTHERWISE I WOULD RECEIVE A CALL BACK. HOWEVER TODAY 21ST JUNE IS ALMOST OVER AND WHEN I CALLED UP TO FIND OUT THE STATUS TO MY SURPRISE THE CALLER SAID THAT NO REQUEST HAS EVER BEEN RECEIVED AND HE WOULD NEED THE DETAILS AGAIN TO PUT IN MY REQUEST SO THAT THE JOB IS DONE WITHIN THE NEXT 3 WORKING DAYS. I REALLY WISH THE HIGHER AUTHORITIES AT THE HELM OF AFFAIRS BECOME AWARE WHAT THE PEOPLE AT THE GROUND LEVEL ARE DOING.                                       I applied for an Airtel Broadband Connection end of July. From day one I had frequent disconnections. I called customer support and after repeated attempts to reach them and have someone come .. No one came. After a week or so they sent me a Bill. I called up and asked why the bill is sent plus the connection is getting disconnecting 10 - 15 times every hour. They told their main server was down and that its resolved .. so should not be any problems henceforth.

                                      But my problem persisted. I tried filing a complaint several times .. but they never solved the issue and told the next time when I called the issue is resolved. I told I should tell that ... its NOT resolved. After that they never respond to my questions or hang up when I call or just say within 24 hours it will be resolved. I wrote to the appelate authority and Customer Support but got no response still!!!!

                                      I went to the Head Office and tried speaking to all the authorities ... They say there is a problem with all my 8 systems and my modem.. but the connection is fine!!!!! I am not getting any resolution but bills are sent to my home.

                                      AIRTEL customer support is ruthless poorly mannered and poorly trained. Most of their representatives do NOT know Enlish and will respond irrelevantly. Fed of calling them numerous times and being hung up when they din know answers we went to the Airtel Head Office here in Coimbatore.

                                      We met three managers who claimed to be for Collections , Operations and Technical BUT did nothing to solve the issues. The name of the Managers are Eeswaran , Pravin and engineers who came numerous times were Karthik , Elango , Gopi none of them who solved the problems. They gave informations like it's problem with their cable first then they told am connecting multiple systems and that so on and so forth.

                                      They block several competitive sites like iconnect ( Airtel provides VOIP ) and also lot of websites do NOT open with Airtel. They refuse to accept they block the VOIP BUT THEY DO BLOCK. If you give them properly they unblock and you can use VOIP!!!!! Finally one engineer told they block VOIP but if you put this DNS it will work but do not give the DNS Out!!!!!!

                                      They refuse to solve the problem or disconnect my connection. I spoke to the Zonal Manager too but with no resolution still. !!!! Can somebody adress this and resolve it for me??

                                        I recently bought 19"LG LCD TV under package offer of free DTH and Set Top Box.
                                        Spectramind is due to supply DTH according to the package conditions, The scheme close date is 5th Sep 09.But I got the DD and their reply stating form received after closing date. By the data we see on the net this company seems to have a habit of cheating consumers on even small gifts like T shirts. Such companies without values should not be allowed to work.

                                        Both LG and spectramind are biggest frauds. Tell your relatives and friends never to buy LG products.
                                        The company is involved with cheap promotions and not fulfilling the promises given by them. they know poor indian customer will not go for legal options and cashing their hard-earned money. Some one shoul file a petition in supreme court against such promotional offers.
                                        All the affected people should join and lodge complaint in consumer court. LG and Spectramind should be punished heavily for fooling people in india with these kind of fraudelent offers. We should get high compensation for going through all this and buying LG product with false promise of free DTH.
