Hi,
I am using Airtel postpaid number for more than One and half year. My number is suddenly disconnected and it shows "Sim Registeration failed". I have called from friend's number so many time to 121 but I didnt get any response from Aitel. I had also written mails to Customer support but never got any satisfactory reply from them . Even nodal office (Asif ) hasnt replied with vaild reason why my number is not working.

It took them 2 weeks to find out that my number is disconnected because of some internal changes in system and I need to apply for new number without any fault of mine.

Even after all this, these support people are asking me to deposit bill for the duration that my number was not working.

Can anybody give me a vaild explanation ????

    my self Sunil Seelay Add. H No. 2026, Sec-16, Faridabad. i applied for Internet Wy-fi connection. MR. Mahender, (Airtel Employee) came to my home i asked him for hi-fi inernet connection he told me about hi-fi connection plan of Rs. 998/- unlimited download for a period of month @ speed 512 kbps for this i paid him Rs. 1500/- in cash and he told me that the Airtel connection with Wy-fi internet connection will be activate in 2 days, but nobody came from Airtel Company for installation. After 4 days Mr. Gautam came to my home and installed the Land Line Airtel Connection No. 4074014 with landline modem internet connection. when i asked him about wy-fi connection than he told me that wy-fi setup is out of stock and he will managed that wy-fi instrument in 2-4 days. Than i asked him about the speed of landline modem for internet connection, he told me that speed of landline connection is 256 kbps as equalent to the wi-fi system plan of Rs. 998/- than i told him that Mr. Mahender told me about speed of that plan is 512 kbps than I told to gautam how Mahender misguide me about the wi-fi connection plan.
    Than Mr. Gautam told me that the speed of 256 kbps is also sufficient to you but i refused that i dont want landline modem connection than he told me that you used that landline modem connection instead of wi-fi connection and as soon as possible we provide you wi-fi connection due to unavailibility of wi-fi system but after installation of landline modem nobody came to mjy home to instal the wi-fi system in beetween i call them many times to disconnect the my Airtel Connection No. 4074014 than i recieved many calls from the Airtel company and every time i told him for disconnection of the connection and refund of payment but today i got a massage on dated 21.08.2009 from Airtel Customer Care account No. 15035487 and amount Rs. 1018 payment due date 07.09.2009.
    I want to know from U when the company didnot install wi-fi system in commitment time and also in earlier i told him many time that i dont want to use Wi-fi system because delaying in installation of wi-fi system and misguiding me about the plan by Mr. Mahender in earlier so i requested you to disconnect my connection and refund me the payment

      Dear Sir,
      i received a sms from 64611030 on 20/08/2009 at 8.58pm that is "thanks for using(Misc, Miscellaneous) subscription service on Airtel WAP. You have been charged Rs.30.Enjoy http://gculb.in." but i did't subscribe any this type of service.
      When i contact to airtel custumer care 121 to know about this UNWANTED subscription one says that u r using the funzone service on airtel wap(at 11.52 am 21/08/2009) and cut the phone than i again tried to this no.and the 2nd one named ramakant said that u r using ringtone subscription.
      Sir now i want a specify answer or my 30ty rupees back. Oterwise i will contact to the consumer court.

        If Airtel do this kind of Poor service to their Clients Then I am going to inform all my people to disconnect Airtel connection. May be they are not aware the potential of my Cliental. Since I am a Manager Marketing I can very well do marketing against Airtel Services. As long as they delay service for my complaint, they are making it worse thats all I can advise.

          I, Koushik Chakraborty is a good customer of Airtel Prepaid service, Mobile no - [protected]. Also I have already used your NOP ( Net On Phone) service in my N79 handset. There is a option of Free Java Games. I have been downloading some free games with the help of your above service. Now question is that. Is there any hidden charges for downloading those free games? It has been chaged 50/- from my a/c. Kindly look into the matter and revese the amount if possible from your end.

          Airtel Prepaid — hidden charged

          hi this is one of airtel prepaid customer no [protected] owner in the name of vaudhaMP... my complaint is about they are taking hidden charges from my account with out any reason... and more over for calling to customercare services also amount is cutting down from my main account... if i call to customercare no 121 and for karnataka [protected] the answer machine will respond and if i choose talk to customrcare option it is not at all connecting to any of customercare representative.... kinldy replay and solve my problem as soon as possible...
          Hello Sir, [protected] is my airtel No. and I have recharged with Rs 149 Booster. but yesterday on 9-12-09 I was charged for all the SMS (around 300 sms) I have send. Inspite of having charged booster I am unjustly charged for my sms. kindly rectify and reply to me.

          i saw Rs 99/- amount was deducated from my balance.so i request you to
          cancel the unlimited free games which was activated & recredit the Rs 99/-

            i have purchaced AIRTEL DTH just because i have a good image of it in my mind as i m using its products ( brodband, postpaid connection ) since 5 years . but AIRTEL DTH service is complimentry to what image i have . i m unable to see any thing in my TV just because of AIRTEL DTH . i have registered complaint many times in last one week regarding this problem to airtel customer care but i have not get any constructive solution of this problem . daily i got a message from customer care executive that " a engineer will come today dont worry " but nothing has happened yet . also reaching customer care executive is also very big deal, after so many time i[censored] are lucky then u will get customer care executive . many times he will cut the phone then u have to start same sequence again . daily u will get a complaint number after so many hurdles i also like to write names of some customer care executive whom i had conversation regarding complaint . Smt Jyoti Singh, Mr Kunal, Mr Sarkar. all these guys havent replied properly . even they have not raised my issue .just giving me the same answer that " an engineer will come tomorrow 12 hrs " but nothing has happened, also service mans of AIRTEL DTH are not technically equipped they just know how to reset a STB otherwise change it nothing else not maintaining any professionalism, behaving very casually they have told me that after half an hrs your TV will start and if you have any problem then just call me at[protected]. i have tried this number many times but no body has replied he just cut my call . now i m completly fed up of doing all this jugglery. i also have other works i m unable to continue this any more thats why i m writing thi complaint against AIRTEL DTH.. kindly take some legal action as early as possible .

            Airtel — Irresponsible behaviour from the Executives

            Dear Sir,

            My mothers Pre-paid number is [protected].

            The Customer care executive calls up and tells her that she can convert her pre-paid number to post paid. After taking away the required amount, the executie delivers a sim and without any verification calls her back to tell her that she has to change her number which she refused and asked them to refund.

            She also gave him an option of giving her the same amount balance in her prepaid account.

            After the verification, even after refusal, the executive tells that the new number will be activated in some time.

            After telling him for the nth time, he tells that if you do not wish, go and return the same to the customer care gallery and collect your money.

            He was been abusive and disconnected the call and never picked up his call again. I'm reporting the same to the media also.

            The Cell number of the executive is [protected] and he gave a reciept of some FRONTLINE Sales LTD., Nityanand Nagar no 4. Andheri East.

            May I request the authorities to look into the same. My mother is old and cannot travel as the nearest customer care centre is 1 hr away from my place. She would have to travel in locals ect. to reach there.

            My Pre-paid number is [protected], [protected]

            The Customer care executive calls up and tells me can convert your pre-paid number to post paid. After taking away the required amount, the executie delivers a sim and without any verification calls me back to tell me that he has to change my no.

            if the activeate on 04.07.09, suddenly they cut all services in my booth no reason was nonserviceble area on 24.07.09, am go to ask tele com service, they not responce, i ask you know after see my proofs, but they activate in this time not reponce, am ask to change my booth no's convert to prepaid but they not converted my no's

            am use this no past five years, and also am already clear bills

            if they no's lost my self am losse many contacts, and another think is am working in mnc concern if no i losse my overseas office not accept to con call,

            airtel has the worst service,the worst customer care service & the worst plans in all the existing DTH services.I m fread up by complaining to the customer care from the past 18 days ,but the customer care is just''GUD FOR NOTHING''........being an airtel digital tv user i would like to advice all o[censored] to "PLEASE STOP USING AIRTEL DIGITAL TV''

              I want to bring to everyone's attention, serious abuse of customers by Airtel, as evidenced by me.

              We have been using the airtel no xxxxx xx135 for the last few years. Its in the name of my wife.

              It was in postpaid mode for the last few years. Around Aug 1st, we switched it to prepaid. We submitted the necessary documents/photos at Airtel’s relationship centre located in Nandidurga road in Bangalore – it was collected by a representative named Shoaib. They issued a new sim card which got activated a day later and we have been using it for the last 20 days.

              On Aug 20th, we received a SMS from Airtel, stating they have not received the necessary documents from us and all outgoing calls are barred, as directed by TRAI.

              I find it absolutely ridiculous that Airtel can treat customers this bad & cancel a service without consulting us when there is no fault on our side. If Airtel lost the documents, I would expect they make a sincere apology for their mistake and request us to provide them with duplicates instead of disconnecting a service using the name of TRAI.

              I called up the customer support at 121 and spoke to one Mr Ikram and Mr Sultan (who mentioned he is a supervisor). Both of them feigned helplessness and requested that I visit a dealer to resubmit the documentation. Complaint # provided by Airtel is # [protected].

              I find this absolutely ridiculous that I need to waste time again when I have completed the formalities from my side. Add to it the fact still I have not received the postpaid deposit from Airtel – hence Airtel must be in possession of two sets of documents from us at this point in time. Mr Sultan from Airtel, mentioned it will take 7 days to verify and resolve it. While I am ok with it taking 7 days, I want the service (outgoing calls) to remain enabled while Airtel investigate the mistakes that happened at their end. To wait 7 days to reenable service, because of Airtel’s fault is unacceptable to me, that too in the name of directive from TRAI.

              I have escalated this to nodal & other contacts provided by Airtel. The resolution times run to 10’s of days and months for appellate response. Should we wait without service (when we have legitimately paid & submitted the expected documents?) while the process of figuring where Airtel dropped the ball?

              I am unable to see any information in TRAI site that says for Telco’s mistake customer service should be disconnected. I find it totally appalling, the treatment meted out with timelines for resolutions, that make a mockery of the customer in the name of TRAI.

              I am not sure if other Telcos provide a better treatment to customers. I hope TRAI can look into such abuses by Telcos utilizing TRAI’s name to refuse services or put them thru hardships for no fault of theirs.

              I think there must be some problem with Airtel and their relationship centres. Because as of now I am also facing the same problem. I have submitted all the documents at Nandi Durga road outlet on 29th August, 2009, but without any proper reason they have disconnected my outgoing calls and asking me to followup with outlet.

                M airtl usr, i faced d prblm of daily dduction of 5 rs. rgarding to vhm of d day subcription since 4m lst 2 month bt nw prblm hs been solved...Bcz i strictly told to custmr cre xcetive dat dey r unable 2 solve ma prblm so m going record their cal specially dat line in wich dey told dat ur service wil b unscribe within 4 hours, aftr dat i wil complaint against dem 2ward consumer forum/court, humans right n police station and i wil provide dem last recorded clip as proof..Aftr doing such things my prblm is solved aftr 2 mnth...I wish 2 say dat airtel netwrk is just lyk a chutiyamatic network...Airtel got dis prize, honour due to only their lazy, so lazy n untrained cstmr cre execative...So i request plz provide gud n trained xcative n solved d prblm of custmr as early as possible...But At lst i lyk 2 say dat as compare 2 other network, airtel is better one...

                  i live in meerut . my airtel cell no is [protected] on this no gprs facility was not avilable after sevral request later on they provide this service. then i request to customer care officers namely ajit, roma, and others i does not recollect their name at this movment but they do not responed properly and do not give any information for gprs settings to connect with my pc. when i request again to them they terminate my customer care service. for this uncooprative act i deeply shoked and hurted. kindiy help me .
                  i will be highiy obliged.

                    Respected Airtel head office,

                    I have been your customer since last 10 years and was very satisfied with sevices .But recently there was a girl by the name of Simran calling us from the airtel billing department and verbally abusing us . Like she said'"our airtel boys will [censored] you if you dont pay our bill".Do you think i would ever like to pay the bill even if i want to.The cost of our bill is 5 thousand. My sister went into depression because of SImran. I am sorry, if people like Simran will stay in your department than we would'nt like to be a part of it. We have a big social circle and most of them have airtel connections

                    Its my request to please take an action against this girl as soon as possible. We will be very thankful to you.

                      Dear Concern
                      Before this matter I am working with Airtel more than 7 years that time working as a retailer and purchase recharge coupons from Ajmer distributor ( MOBILE SANGRAH ) mostly we have sold Airtel after with Mr. Ravindra Sharma (Ex TM) at Merta City he forced to me that why don’t you take distributorship, that time Airtel recently started rural distributorship on behalf his suggestion I have decided to take rural distributorship of Airtel as I want to work with Airtel and still want to work with Airtel. But I have some issue regarding Airtel.
                      I have submitted DD on 14 July 08 in the faviour of BHARTI HAXACOM LTD.of Rs 10000 and other agreements.

                      Mr. Ravindra Sharma is willing to take bribe from me of Rs 5000 through Ex distributor of Airtel Jasnagar ( Deepak traders) they both has come to take bribe at Alniyawas on 14 July 08 for bribe, I didn’t give them, I have submitted my all documents on 25 Aug 09. Because of I don’t give them bribe that’s why he don’t want to start my RD.
                      After this RD has started on 20 Nov 2008.

                      Mr. Sanjeev Verma has been taken Rs 28710 in cash and Customer Application Form for new connection of Airtel collected on 24 mar 09 form JAIN DOT COM for e recharge but no any top up showing in my lapu. When I talked him regarding top up he told that I have not take any amount from you, amount has been eaten by him.
                      After this MASTER SIM has been barred on 26 mar 09 without any information, still demo balance is showing Rs7999.

                      On this matter we have talk with these company employees via telephone Mr. Asim Sharma (ZBM), Mr.Raghunath Mandawa (CEO Rajasthan Circle), Mr.Dhurv (Marketing Head) and Mr.Abhishek Sharma.

                      But no action taken by Airtel.

                      After this matter I have to logged FIR on 1st April 09 in police station status is still pending.

                      One more example from Airtel

                      After this great example, I am still working with Airtel I have sold a connection ([protected]) to customer on 10 Aug 09 command has been given via JAIN DOT COM. I have complain against our distributor HARSHIT ENTERPRISES for E recharge and Activation to ZSM, he takes the distributor on conference and told him to active this no ASAP, but the no is still not working, after this the distributor call and he is abusing via phone to me that complain, against this complain distributor has been suspend my E recharge option in my lapu sim at the time approx Rs1800 in this.

                      Kindly look into the matter.

                              My airtel detacard prepaid number (Not Postpaid) is[protected], I want to say that my detacard is not connect to the internet.deta card dont found network singnal".Its problem in a particular place in Lakhisarai whole distict.outside Lakhisarai distict proprly good work my detacard, same problem with mobile office at mobile with all Lakhisarai airtel consumer.I am facing this problem from 08august2009.I call to 121, but my problem is not solve.My 1st complain number 773900, 9 august2009, second complain no[protected] on 12 August 2009, third complain no[protected] on 15 august 2009 and Last complain no[protected] on 18 august 2009.I talked assistent of nodel officer (BIHAR) miss sapana but dont resolve my problem.Please check, and solve my problem.I am using net on computer with AIRTEL USB data card on 498/- monthly plan.My alternet number [protected], [protected], [protected].

                              I have purchased a usb moden after making all enquiry .i was told that it will work in roaming but when i brought it to kolkata it didnt work.i have to customer care.but i didnt got any feedback.at last i have decided to file a case against the bharti communication.
                              I got a usb modem for Airtel data card. I am told that charge will be for downloading, now i am being told that it will be for searchingalso.I BELONG TO THE 350 PLAN

                                Hi Sir,

                                With respect to my mobile no. [protected], I have been billed Rs.878 extra for the month of July 2009.Since a year I have been using the Airtel mobile services where I am bound to call to international number (for my personal needs) at Rs.9.20 per min to UK mbiles. However, Airtel claims that the charges have been revised since July 2009 to Rs.10 per min to UK Mobiles. I agree there might have been a change of plan, but this news was not intimated to the customer, inspite of being tagged as their platinum customer. For almost a year I have been using ISD facility and till date I have not received any sms alert or even a mail about the change in tariff.I was given a shock over my bill where I was charged Rs.5, 110 for ISD calls where as I should have been charged only Rs. 4, 232.

                                I have logged a complaint with the customer care in the 1st week of August 2009, since then I have been following up with them for an update yet no progress. I have had conversation right from the customer care executives, the floor managers (Bharath MM, Vishwas M, Mary Antony) and the senior floor manager Nasir Ulla Khan who all promised to have reverted yet no response so far.(Ref no.[protected]
                                I have also dropped a mail to their nodal office who's the region head, yet no response from their end. I am frustrated and tired and cannot afford to make payment for a bill that I was not supposed to be paying.

                                Kindly look into this issue and hoping my complaint would be redressed asap.

                                      Dear Sir,
                                      I have a prepaid connection of Air tail. My Mo. No. is [protected].It is valid till Feb 2010.I had recharged my Mo. by Rs.336.Tranjection id[protected] on 25.07.09 at 08.49 pm. It was a top up and I was supposed to get approx Rs. 300. in my account but I received only Rs.154.62.
                                      Lot of conversation had been made between me and service provider but no body could explain me why I had got this amount .I requested them to cancel this tranjection immediately but they deny me. After that I made a call to Customer care officer and supervisor, they told me they can't help me and repeating sorry sir .sorry sir...at last but they lodged my complaint and give me the request reference no. [protected] and also told me to talk with area manager Ms. Namisha on [protected]. I spoke my problem to them and she told me that she must do some thing for me but till today I did not get any response from Air tail side. I had tried a lot to contact them but no body picked up my phone.
                                      I request you to help me out and send a message to them stop cheating customers.

                                        My self Mahesh.C.Utge, had submitted my pf withdrawl form with Bharti Airtel Ltd. in mumbai in April, as airtel had there head office in Delhi, they forwarded it to delhi then it goes to nehru place division in PF office.. after enquiry in may they said have received the form and will be processed and given in next month i.e june mid. But no update. then i called again in jne 15th they said is under process and received on 05/06/2009, and is under process... and then every month the story continues, next mnth and next month. It is been 4 month after receiving the form no update and again i am asked to call back on there number[protected]/90, how long will this take where as in website it is mentioned will be given in 45-50 working days. but it is more than that.. can you please revert with the date and month by when it will be deposited in my account.

                                        Hope to get a early response.
