After porting from bsnl to airtel, after inserting the aim, dialled 59059 to activate the airtel sim. But it is not working. Kindly help asap

    Advertisement - To achieve at Zero Questions and Zero Complaints. There is no question unanswered.
    The above seems just to a be a fake statement from Airtel . With our own small experience, we have come to this conclusion. We had requested for an Airtel extreme Fiber with a speed of 100Mbps(799 Plan)Broadband Connection. The sales person approached us and informed us that currently there is no Fiber connectivity available in our area. He convinced us that once there is Fiber connectivity available in our area he would get it changed without any cost involved and without us raising any request. So initially, he gave us 16 Mbps copper connection. Three months back they have laid the Fiber connection to our area and installed the Fiber pole just opposite to our apartment. They have initiated Fiber connectivity to other people in the area including our apartment. We then waited for atleast 2 months thinking that Airtel people would approach us and get the upgradation done. However when no body turned up, we finally raised a request for plan change through Airtel Thanks App. The engineers visited our place in the month of Oct. They laid the cable and fixed the Fiber modem too. During the installation, then engineer had a conversation with the back end guy named Mallikarjun and they started fighting and the back end guy was asking why the cable was laid as it was an existing connection and not a new one(we also purchased a new connection but since they did not have the Fiber connectivity, we were given the copper connectivity and they ensured it would be changed to Fiber connectivity) . Hence they left saying that it was late and that they would come the next day to fix the connection. Since then we have not seen the engineers. We have contacted the customer care atleast 20 times and these guys so many times. However they have not reverted with any solution. Everytime we made a call, they said that there was a technical issue. When we enquired about the technical issue, none of them knew what the issue was. This has been happening from the last 15 days. We had raise a request on 6th of Nov and from then we have been chasing the guys. To name a few people we contacted include Santosh, Mallikarjun, Sunil, Anand. We also have their contact numbers.We kept calling them, however they did not respond. They did not pick our calls and if by mistake they picked up, they said it would be sorted within 2 hours. We have been waiting everyday. None of the ARTEL representative called us neither did they have a solution to our query. We were the ones who kept calling them since it was our requirement. It actually seemed that they were least bothered with our problems. Being an AIRTEL customer we now feel very insulted. This is not just with one customer. We are sure if this is happening with us, there would be so many customers facing the same issue. The Engineers did not have the responsibility at all and did not have any solution to our problem. Also we feel that there is no escalation matrix in place in Airtel as no one called up asking what was the issue even though we had escalated it so many times.
    We are not getting this service free of cost and we are paying a good amount for this service. There are so many service providers in the market. But we chose you trusting you guys. But we think that was our biggest mistake. We should have done a thorough study about you guys and then should have opted for your service.
    Last but not the least, we would like to now opt for discontinuing the service as we are not getting the services that were promised to us initially.
    Request you to please let us know the procedure in advance.
    We would never recommend any one else to opt for your service and that’s for sure.
    When you cannot render the services, request you not to boast about it.

        "I have made payment to airtel prepaid mobile number of AP & telangana circle using Indusind credit card (platinum) .The Transaction shows successful in Indusmobile app where I had done my recharge but the same is not reflected on the airtel number(even in the myairtel app) which shows no recharge done.The amount of Rs.2498/- was debited but recharge not reflected.

        I called Indusind customer care.They confirmed that the transaction was successful from their end through email

        INDUSINS Transaction details:

        1. Transaction date : 4.11.2020, time: 12.23pm.
        2. Transaction amount : Rs.2498/-
        3. Transaction for : prepaid Airtel no [protected] recharger for Rs.2498/-.

        I also mailed to [protected]@airtel.com wherein they asked all my credit card statements, sms but to my utter surprise they said they cannot see the third party transactions.They have taken all my confidential information to say this absurd reply.I also mailed to [protected]@in.airtel.com after talking to airtel customer care when they gave us this great advice.These guys are superb.They dont even reply til date.more than 16days over .This issue is still pending.My last resort is to approach a legal platform and sue airtel for making me go through agony, wasting my valuable time, effort for this small issue.

          I had recharged my number in airtel thanks app through phonepay, my money got deducted but in the airtel app it showed 'transaction pending'
          but nothing happened then.

            Airtel this number is temporarily out of service

            From past 4months I haven't used this number. I have topped up the sim with 379 rupees.
            Can you please check what is wrong with my number. Despite of topping up am getting, this number is temporarily out of service!!!
            PLs help me in refunding my account....

            As I am a airtel customer for more than 10 years.
            Previous year I moved to Dubai and using the same number as my primary SIM for last one year and recharging the sim also, but on yesterday onwards the sim is not showing network connectivity.
            So please help me to solve the issue.

              My mobile no is [protected]. I have made recharge thrice of rs 399.unlimited calls and data of 1Gb/day.Amount got deducted but recharge has not completed.

                Dear Sir,
                I am Shanmugam palanisamy, My airtel mobile number- [protected], from coimbatore. I have done a recharge for Rs. 251 pack, ie., 50 GB Existing validity pack on 20/11/2020 at 10:16 AM. My bank account has been debited with Rs. 251 but the transaction has been in successful status.( It shows the message as you have initiated the payment). But the transaction is successful.The transaction has been completed but iam unable to use the network and i have not recieved any message regarding the recharge done etc.., But unable to use the network. I have attached the photocopies of the transaction.

                        I've been using this airtel number for more than 10 years now. Suddenly, around Nov 14 2020 my sim card has been completely barred without any valid reason. Couple of days before that I made a recharge for Rs 558 (3GB/Day, Unlimited Calls) plan.

                        Hello Sir
                        Today I recharged my Airtel account around 9 AM on 19 November 2020 on number [protected] of 149 plan. All is going good after submitting my ICICI bank details an unexpected error occurred saying sorry your transaction not processed I think it might be error in the process and I recharge again with my HDFC account but same error occurred my money is debited from both accounts but recharge is failed. I am requesting a refund of ₹ (149+149).

                          Hi team,

                          I took internet/broadband service of Airtel on 1 Nov 2020 in a hope that i will get good internet service and continue my work without any disruption. However since 1st week onwards I facing issue of disconnection for more than of 4 hours and it continues every 4th day. I mailed to Airtel 121, Nodel and appellate but issue still persist. They just reply me that they facing outage problem in my area. I didnt forced Airtel to provide their service, they told me that they provide good service in my area and they happy to take my installation request but now every week I am getting reason having issue in my area.

                          I request please register my complaint, I want airtel to refund my complete amt and stop their pathetic service. There are lot companies to switch.

                              Airtel is overcharging extra for 1860 calls!! on postpaid unlimited pack.

                              I was surprised to see in my postpaid bill that Airtel has charged for calls made to numbers beginning with 1860, even when my scheme is all local and STD calls are free in the package I am paying for.

                              Hi,
                              I have paid 7421/- as advance rental amount for 6 months towards airtel as the Due date was near and wanted to avoid penalty. After that I have asked Airtel team to disconnect my broadband connection as I was moving out of Chennai. During that time many people from Airtel called me and asked me to go for Pause connection instead of Disconnection and nobody informaed about the refund. When I called them today, they are saying that this amount will not be refunded if we disconnect the connection. Out of the amount I paid I hardly used 1 month. This is a sure fraud as they robbed me 5000+ rupees without giving any service.

                                I had submitted a request for relocation from Guduvancherry to Anna Nagar, Chennai on SEPTEMBER 28TH, 2020. After multiple customer service calls, engineer calls and mails, I have still not received my relocation. But the Airtel executives have closed the request without any consent from my end. I have prepaid for 3 months connection. I have not been able to use my connection for almost 2 months now. I get calls from customer service executives whether they can close the request, I keep answering that I have still not received my connection. One fine day, they make their own decision and send me a message saying that the service request has been closed.

                                Later after a couple of mail, I keep getting calls from engineers but not a single person has come to fix it till date. I am fed up. I'm surviving on 4g. This is how I work. My productivity is affected. I would like a solution to this.
