i cannot contact to customer care ...
and whenever i have been able to contact them ...
there is no response from them and always fake assurances.
i have never got a resolution of my problem

first of all very sorry for not mentioning my phone no. in subject of this
mail.i did so..because my last mail to airtel was rejected saying that ur
no
doesn't starts from 99XXXXXXXX or 98XXXXXXXX.


i brought my airtel connection(airtel lifetime prepaid) mob no.
([protected]) on 8th october 2008.since past few days i'm experiencing
following problems


i am not able to receive any SMSs from airtel customers and from airtel
service, since 10th october.i have checked all the settings of my phone and
have
confirmed it but still the problem is there.though i can receive SMSs from
customers of other opeators.
whenever i try to connect to airtel customer care executive through your
help
line no. 121, my call gets disconnected automatically.this happen always i
try
do so.
my account balance is not displayed on screen using the *123# service

so i think u can very well understand the problems which i'm facing after
buying airtel connection.my problem has become more worse since i;m not
able to
connect to customer care and explain my problem to them.though i had
contacted
customer care using my friends airtel connecton a no. of times...but still
my
problem has not been solved yet.airtel is a vey renowned company in
india.but i
think u r not helping us.this is my request ou to pls..solve my problem as
soon
as possible...so i can prevent myself...from taking any legal action
agianst
airtel.i have given my details and details of my connection as under.

my mobile no. is [protected] i am from Allahabad, and i use this number last few years there are lots of complain is also made by me in the past but there is some problem which is made by the airtel office. I an fed of the massage wich is disturbing me and my work everytime so please it is requested to close these all services from my mobile.

As i using prepaid connection for last 2 yrs hence i took 2 new postpaid connection in the month of August 08 by giving 2 cheques of Rs 599/- each.
I had paid bill for the same till Dec 08 & due to some financial problem not paid the bill in Jan Before due date, But at the end of month I had given the PDC.Date31/01/09 of Rs 500/- & 400/- on the request of your tele caller to show the collectiion in the month of Jan 09, &your agent i request him to deposit these on 06/02/09 to avoid any bouncing charges.He also given me assurity about it,
But from your side cheques are deposited before 06/02/09 & because of that both the cheques get bounced & 450/- rs are debited from my account .
from last 5 to 6 days your tele caller not given proper answer for the same, & only asking to pay the dues.& i want to disconnect the connection immediately. numbers [protected] & [protected].
Till i had not getting proper co-operation from your side, I will not pay any Single Rs.

    Network Problem.

    I beleive there is no value for customer in Airtel. I had an network issue from May 2008 and finally I diactivated my two numbers and moved to Vodafone due to this issue as there was no response from Airtel. I have been following up with Airtel for nearly 9 months and finally i got an update from Airtel that at present there is no solution and will be rectified after six months!!!.

    I was getting three to four calls every day to pay the bill, but no one from Airtel are asking whether the issue is resolved or not. I have mentioned in one mail that "Please adjust the payment in my deposit and let me know the balance amount which is not paid till September 2008."

    Now i got an Legal Notice from Airtel that to clear the payment, they never replied for any of my mails.

    I am writing this mail after frustrating from Airtel service. I have been calling and following from more than three months and still waiting for resolution. I have ever seen a company that failed to give a resolution to a customer after so many reminders and months.
    The problem is with the network, almost all the time my cells are not reachable due to no coverage. This issue is only at my house and my area. Some time I need run around to get the signal either to my Portico or to Balcony. This is issue is not there earlier, I have been using the Airtel approximately from May 2006. Everything was fine till six months back. There was absolutely there was no issues till April or May 2008.

    So many time I have missed my transport and my kid has missed his School Van due to network problem, as the transport and school van drivers call before come to pick us. The drivers assume we are not available or not at home if the phone is not reachable. All the times my cells are not reachable. I don't want to drag this issue further. Please let me know what are the formalities to deactivate the connections. How can I take back my deposited amount.

    Your Executive is arranging to send a Technical person to visit the place for further testing. But again there is no time frame available for the same. I strongly feel it is again going to take some more months. Please let me know do I need to make the payment now as I am clearing from past four months or shall I hold till the issue got resolved.

    Thanks you people for the response and service, I am satisfied with the service given from you. Please disconnect my two Airtel numbers with immediate effect.

    It is almost more than 5 months over after my complaint on network issues, still I have the same problem. I have not seen a bit of improvement in the network. Earlier days at least I use to get a response to my complaints. Now there is no call / mail from Airtel with respect to resolution time.
    There is no point in using and paying bill for a connection where most of the time it is unreachable.
    I am going for other service provider, you can disconnect both the given numbers immediately.

    Thanks for your response, the same framed answer getting from you from the beginning of my complaint without any improvement in my network connectivity. Today morning also there was no signal for my number for more than 10 mins at 8'O clock.

    Thanks for the service, I have requested to cancel my other numbers. I have switched over to other service provider.

    Till today I have not received any response from you people, but I have received a later that to pay the bill for my number or else legal action will be taken without warning to me. Can someone go through the below mail and let me know did I ever mentioned that I will not clear the amount? I never expected a threatening letter instead of resolution from a very reputed company like Airtel.

    I would request you to go through all the mails I have sent to Nodal Officer and reply back to me with the balance amount which I need to pay. Please do not send any threaten letter to make the payment as I am not an defaulter for Airtel. I would advice Airtel to check my previous payment details for the number 9XXX, 9XXX and 9XXX and reply to customer before sending any letters like this.
    If no reply available I will be posting the complete issue and response of Airtel in http://www.consumercomplaints.in along with scanned copy of your letter!!!

    I would like to appreciate Mr.. Syed to inform me that there is network problem(this was told by your n/w engineer couple of months ago after verifying the signals at my area) in this area and the solution will be is to put a structure. It will be resolved in another six months!

    I hope someone will respond to me and will resolve the billing issue for number 9XXXX and 9XXX

    I would request you people to go through the customer complaints and his issues before asking for payment or sending an notice. I have send many mails and called n numbers of time to Airtel to resolve the payment issues. But till today there is no single mail from Airtel. Please go through the trail mails and attachment also.

    Today there was a call from Taniya to make the payment, she is not aware of my complaints and mail that I have sent to Airtel. Every time I am getting new calls about payment but no one knows about my request and don't want to understand about my complaints.
    Please understand I never denied to make the payment. Please let me know why should I pay the charges after my last mail which is specifically told to disconnect the numbers.
    This is becoming a torture to me, if this is the case even I have also look in to legal way of resolving the issue.

    Finally today i had a talk with Floor Manager Mr. Azurudhin, he said that there is nothing above appellate officer and speak to them. When I called appellate officer Ms.Roopa, she told that contact Divya after one hour and get the update.

    I would request to Airtel to respond customer and give some value for customers.

    Airtel is the worst Mobile Service Provider in Karnataka.
    Is the telecom regulator on a long holiday? In this ongoing season of scams, one more may well be under way. Mobile consumers are being taken for a ride…in the name of TRAI Guidelines. A pre-paid subscriber [[protected]], I myself am one of those hapless victims in Bangalore. Invoking those TRAI guidelines, Airtel asked me to re-submit my application (with photo, ID et al) in place of purported incomplete, invalid details. I complied ..resubmitting them not once but twice over since 17th Aug 2011 at the Indiranagar Customer Care. All this while, my out-bound calls remain barred. Bad enough. Worse, I find Airtel has been debiting me for inward calls and messages received as well. This is strange because I have not been roaming.I suspect there is some method in all this madness. Will the company explain…will the regulator wake up, please? When will they restore full service to me?
    I WANT TO CANCEL MY Airtel connection [protected], since I am not using this number and the sim is also lost. I have another 3 to 4 connections of airtel. so I don't want this number. so please cancel this connection. this is most most urgent. in future I am not going to pay the bill also for the above said number.

      Dear Sir/Madam,

      I have purchased a prepaid sim card of airtel before 10 days from pune, after and upto verification of the same from airtel, it was activated but now it has suddenly deactivated and I am facing problem as I am not in pune, went outside for my company work and will be back in pune after 15 days.
      Airtel has blocked my sim and given computerised message to contact to their customer care but from this sim this service is also not valid and unable to contact customer care also from said sim number.

      The said service I am not able to utilised and also very much upset by your action.

      You are requested to start the same immediatly within a hour a discontinue it, In future I will never go for airtel and also I will suggest my company/frinde for not to go for airtel service.

      Airtel prepaid sim not activated

      I have applied for an airtel prepaid connection and received a sim with number[protected]H1 at Misamari, Assam with a commitment from the airtel that the sim will be activated within 72 hours. But till now its still inactive.. When I check with dealer, they attribute the delay to policy change and keep saying its under process. Kindly look into the matter and do the needful

        all i just want to say that i need a refund of all my money lost in this service without recieving any benifit of the service, i have called up costumer care services number of times to deactivate the service but they just give me the assurance that the service must be deactivated but my money is still being deducted daily.
        in the end i want the service to be deactivated and my money to be refunded.

            i have a airtel prepaid connection i would like convert in postpaid when i go to airtel relation ship centre, mehdipatnam, hyderabad

            with the documents
            photo, pan card, electricity bill as address proof

            Dear Sir, Madam,


            I am Sulakshana Maitra and unfortunately this is my second formal complaint against your company in the last 10 years o[censored]sing Airtel as my mobile operator.

            Recently, on 27th of April, to be precise, I opted for a corporate connection. Now since I had already purchased an Airtel no. a few months back, I wanted the same no. to be converted into a post paid since the whole world has the same number. Therefore a request was forwarded. I work for IBM, and as per your welcome letter received by me, my plan is SELECT 199, which I believe is a special offer for IBM employees. Thats where my issues all began. The number took 2 weeks instead of 2 working days to be converted. Along with that, there were hundreds of other obstacles. Somehow, I was able to get the no. converted to a post paid. Now, it doesn't end there.
            As the address proof, I submitted a lease agreement which states my fathers name and the address where we are staying. Now, currently and for the past 24 years, I have been living with my parents and in Delhi, we have shifted houses in Chittaranjan Park, during our 18 years of stay here. I have submitted my Drivers License and my Passport as a supporting document which has my fathers name as well.
            I had explained to the representative umpteen number of times that I am still staying with my parents and we have currently shifted to a rented flat, so I have submitted my passport as a supporting document. I was told that it is fine. But few days later, I am continuously receiving calls on my number saying that I have to submit a document with my name as the Person staying in that address.

            What alarms me most is that I have been able to change my ICICI bank address without any problem with the same set of documents. I have just had my address changed in the bank so I will have to wait another quarter to receive the statement. I have currently started working and I am still living with my parents. I cannot submit any document which has my name currently mentioned for this address. Why am I having to give so many documents when someone has already come and verified in this same address and my mother has signed the paper??

            This is absolutely no way. I feel that the executives are acting like uneducated people and not being able to understand this thing logically.

            I am sure the person who reads this mail is educated enough to understand what I am talking about. If nothing works out, which I think should not happen if you have understood what I am saying, I am ready to submit an Airtel Broadband Bill, but that will have my FATHERS NAME.

            I expect a very prompt revert with a solution from your side. Else I would be compelled to take this up with other authorities.

                I had recharge of Rs 94/- (Mobile Office) on 11 Nov 09, for unlimited GPRS browsing from midnight 12 till morning 0800 hrs.
                But had charge for browsing many times.
                And on 5th Dec09, at 0100 hrs i had complained for this problem the CRO (Mr.Avinas) listen my problem and he adviced me that do not use this facility if you are charged.
                Is this type of service provided by Airtel Customer Care.
                He had to resolve my problem facing by us but he was., ..

                If Airtel is read this complain kindly take this advicethat every Customer Executive have full of knowledge about internet or GPRS & he have to resolve the problem carefully.

                  I took a new postpaid connection ([protected]) few days back ( Last week of DEC, 2008) . I have given all the necessary proofs . When address is been verified, they sent the person on a weekday but I was in off. Later they have updated in their record as " no body is staying in the address " and temporarily disconnected the SIM. But the fact is, I am very much staying in the address. I rushed to the nearest Airtel Shop and asked for a re-verification. It was scheduled on last saturday (03/01/2009). No body has come for verification. Later I was told that it will be done on Monday (05/01/2009). I took a leave from office so that this time there will be no problem. But there ws no verification done on that day also. when I contact the Airtel Customer care, they told that the person could not find my address. This is a nice story they told when i am staying in a prime location & everybody knows that area very well. All my couriers & letters r coming to that address. Only Airtel people can't find it. But the funniest part it they have found the address last time.They also told that there are no alternate contact no mentioned. But I have updated my alternate contact no([protected]) when filling the application form.

                  Now the funniest part is, Airtel executives has updated my billing address (also Billing started) & my wrong address are same. If I am not staying in that address & it is not verified then how can they say both are same address.

                  Meanwhile my mobile is DEAD. SIM is been disconnected. I am not getting any answer from anyone in Airtel.
                  Can Airtel authorities look into this & get back to me ?

                    This is regarding the mobile no.[protected], which was in the name of Mr. Krishan Kumar Arora. He has lost his mobile phone along with the sim card in the month of May'08 and has immediately filed an FIR in the police station for the same. Later he also requested airtel for the immediate termination of service for this number whereby he has formally completed all the formalities for the termination of number, as he don't want to use this number anymore but I am very disappointed to say that we are continously receiving the bill of same. I am not able to understand how they can send us the bill of those services which we are not at all using.Twice I went to Jain Infocom ( Airtel shop at Meerut) along with all the documents of termination and both the times they committed me that you will not receive any bill from now...but again the situation is same, we are continously receiving the bill...Infact we have also received a legal notice on 21st August-08 for the payment. Twice I have written a mail to Nodal officer and Appellate officer but here also we did not receive any response. Below are some details along with the details of last payment and application for termination. Last payment made via receipt no.[protected] on 24-05-08 to Jain Infocom Pvt. Ltd., Vardhman plaza, Garh road, Meerut. Customer a/c no.[protected]. Application for connection termination submitted on 24-05-08 to Jain infocom which has a reference id on it - AR#16841890.

                    Would request you to please take appropriate action against them and solve our problem immediately.

                          Got a confirmation SMS from Cricket club that I have been unsubscribed. Posting this hint after several trials since BSNL cricket club sms service had merely sent details to activate the service and nothing about de-activating it. This is against good consumer practice. I hope several readers will take note of this and file a PIL against this service .

                            Airtel has been deducting a sum of Rs. 10 everyday for some WAP text based service for which i havent even requested, every day i call for teh deduction being done from my pre-paid account inspite of regular complaints to the customer service executive Sagar Shetty, Qadar Quereshi, Kaveri, JYoti, Dinesh, Shobika, Triputi there is no such action taken by them they ignore the call and in between they tell us to be on hold and disconnect the line. Airtel better watch its high time, wont tolerate such kind of ignorance from your end and end to also put a legal suite against you.

                            My Airtel mobile No. is [protected]. On 27.01.2009 I received the following message from Airtel:

                            “Thanks for using (subscription, text based services) subscription service on Airtel WAP. You have been charged Rs.10/-. Enter Fun Zone http.//igmobi.com”.

                            I have never activated this service.

                            An amount of Rs.10/- was deducted from my available balance and from 27th onwards an amount of Rs.10/- per day is being deducted from my available balance. I contacted Customer Service on 27th January itself and informed that I have never activated this service. They have promised that this will be deactivated and the amount of Rs.10/- will be refunded to me. I got a refund of Rs.10/- on 28th January. However, an amount of Rs.10/- was deducted again on 28th. Again on contacting the Customer Service, I have been told that this facility will be deactivated within 48 hours and the amount deducted will be refunded. However, so far this facility has not been deactivated and the amount has not been refunded to me. The deduction is continuing till date.

                            You are requested to immediately deactivate this facility and refund the amount deducted from my account.

                            I have been using your services since last 7 years but they way i have got the treatment in last 7 days is very disappointing. My number has been deactivated without intimating me is this what we say customer service?

                            I got a call on 16 Sep 09 from Airtel to re submit the document for my this prepaid connection from one of your agency, number from which call recvd was :- [protected]. As i wanted to know why my documents are required suddenly after me using this connection for so many years i spoke to your Airtel Employee :- Shreya on [protected], he informed me that as this is require by govt i need to submit it. With all the respect i submitted my Passport xerox along with 2 Photos to the agency person after a rigorous follow up with him 4 days on 20 Sep 09..

                            Now Suddenly my Number was terminated on 16 of this month. when i asked the reason for the termination. i got the information that due VTM negative my number has been terminate. i spoke to Shreyas immediately on [protected] and he told me that he will immediately get the line started on 16th itself.

                            Till date my line has not been started. Also Shreyas has not answered my call post 16th .. Whenever i call he sends me a Message that He is busy in a meeting but never calls back.

                            I havent been subscribed to any service, but today my prepaid number is started to get charged without my permission from AlEntertainment for Cricket Pack.

                            They sent me a sms to stop is but that number is not working or fake and also I dont speak Hindi.

                            1. I have been customer of AIRTEL MOBILE SERVICES since June 2010... I had asked for NDNC services in the first week of Dec 2010..which was not noted,. again on 15 Dec 2010 a request was made (Ref no [protected]) .. Mr Hari Om and Mr Shiv who were the customer service executives were also spoken to. However till now no action was taken...

                            2. In addition they call and message from some local tele no so that customers call back not knowing that these numbers do not belong to the company...when customers call back to check the number they are immediately charged for some service which is not known .. .Each time ,the service Executives tell lies that they are terminating the services charged and the money will be refunded.Which has not happened till date.

                            3. The same thing happened with me in which they charged me for 'Friends Chat' .....this is sheer cheating the customers...Last month I was subscribed for the above said service for which I had requested to discontinue which was not obliged. The same service was again renewed on 13 Feb 2011 for which I had again requested on 14 Feb 2011, which the customer service personnel lied to me and did not take note of the request and i again called up in the evening and Mr Veeru spoke in a very rude manner....He too refused to take any action.

                            I am extremely unhappy and disgusted wit AIRTEL SERVICES

                            Hello there,

                            My name is Sadanand Hegde, and I have two airtel Pre-paid connection numbers being[protected] and[protected].

                            I had opted for Mobile Number Portability (MNP) from Airtel to Aircell. After completing all the formalities, I got a message from Aircell that due to ' subsistence of contractual obligations' the MNP is rejected by Airtel. I have no contractual obligations with Airtel, as it is prepaid connection. Just to harass the customers, Airtel is playing this type of tricky game and making customers like me to suffer.

                            I request the forum to look into this and take appropriate action against Airtel, so that no other customers are harassed like this.

                            I am having Airtel landline broadband connection for the past nine years.I had chosen Rs599/- sceme. The average bill per month willbe around Rs 669/-When I got my Dec2010 bill a sum of Rs400 was added as Topup charges. When I took up the matter with Airtel I was told the matter has been informed to the billing section and it will be sorted out . Airtel till date have not rectified the mistake and today I got March2011bill a Sum of Rs500/- added as top up charges. I didn't noticed the country code and I have try to call it back and then I realize it was not India number and I ended the call in 4 seconds. It came to my knowledge that call is from Pakistan. The airtel claims to maintain standard service to their customer but this all are the nonsense.                             Airtel — number barred for no reason

                            I got an Airtel prepaid sim on 21/10/2011 from 3VCOM, Sector 35 (Chandigarh) submiting my passport as my ID proof and other necessary documents. Number was barred on 1/11/2011 and while contacting the same Airtel outlet, to my utter surprise reason given to me was "SIGNATURE NOT CLEAR IN THE ID PROOF" by one of the Airtel personel . To which i requested them to return my id proof as i wanted to highlight this issue as an Airtel personel is challenging the äuthenticity of the document issued by Govt. of India OR my self attested document can be misused. They told me to collect the document today i.e 2/11/2011. While i again contacted them in the concern, they told me that we will get the number activate after getting it approved. Finally my number got activated.Here comes my concern, if the signature was not clear as told to me by an Airtel Personel now how they managed to get my number reactivated OR my number was barred without any genuine reason and i was harrased for no reason.

                                Its been 3 weeks since I bought a Airtel prepaid card (no.- [protected]) with the plan 1paisa/sec. But the service of incomming and outgoing has not yet been started even after many complaints to the AIRTEL company and customer care service centre. He was saying my modem is on but my waring itself has not been done. then i have call costumer care for complain here is some complain no "46272366" "46560304" every time i was gating my problem will be solved in 24 hours but still i have not got any solution.

                                Can you plz solve my issue or else return back my money. Not to good to say this but now airtel service become bad.
                                my airtel number not shows range in other states and while contacting customer care peoples, they says "It takes 7 working days to solve this issue". Its although a month and regarding this while I am making a call to customer care they simply says as"Wait I will check and please be in line". The next step the call will be disconnected. Worst customer service and worst response from them.

                                  I am living in jharkhand and using no [protected] since last two years.. I have never applied for Hello Tunes Activation. Since last one month a stupid local folk song of Jharkhand has been set on my mobile no. automatically which is actually very cheap. Despite of talking to customer care for so many times, the Hello Tune has not been removed and I was charged for the same. I am a dignified person in the education industry and this kind of cheap Hello tune is spoiling my standards.

                                  So, I am finally lodging a compliant here and if it doesnt work, I will refer this matter to Consumer Forum without any further delay.

                                  My issue is regarding Hello Tunes...

                                  I've activated my Hello Tunes with one of the Cust. Care Represenative. He helped me out setting up my desired tune. I was told that Rs.60 will be deducted from my account for the same, I said, that perfectly fine. But later I came to know that Rs. 75 are deducted. I called up Cust. Care, He took my Complaint and said my amount will credited to my account. Due to some miss communication the Cust. Care Represenative returned the whole Rs. 75 and mt Hello Tune is been deactivated.
                                  I keep on calling Cust. Care to activate the Hello Tune again, but I m not getting any help at all. I was told that they don't have such facility. I've had a word with their Supervisor her name is Manisha. She told me to dial *678# for acticating the Hello Tune. I've tried that option also, but the point subsciption is asks me try later.
                                  Its been going on from last 1 month. I m getting frustrated because at their ARC ( Airtel Relationship Center ) they said the I wont get the Hello Tune of my choice.

                                  Please guide for the right approach get heard of my issue.

                                  I have set a song as hello tune in my mobile by paying all the relevant charges. Each and every time, when some one is calling me, before hearing the hello tune set, they are hearing a ladie's voice saying that"if you want to copy the song, please press * &.....etc", which is very disgusting. Personally I feel it is not fair from the company's side to include such hello tune advertisement. I contacted the nearby airtel office and have even talked to them regarding this, but they are saying they can't do anything on this. It is a default setting which is doing like this. I really can't understand, why the company can't change it when your customers are not happy with that. You can very well sent a message on how to copy a hello tune to all your users instead of adding such default talks into our lines. Hope so that, you can understand the situation. This is the complaints raised by lot of friends/relatives who are using airtel services. Please do something on this at the earliest.

                                  Hello Tunes are activating without any request and debiting the charges. while try to contact prepaid customer care team leader thru customer care executive more than 8 minutes the call was ringing and no body is picking the phone. disconnected the phone and tried again the customer care executive the answer was "YOU SHOULD WAIT IF YOU WANT TO TALK TO THEM. YOU ARE NOT THE ONLY PERSON CALLING WE ARE GETTING SO MANY CALLS FROM DIFFERENT CUSTOMERS" We are not feeling that these type of answers are fair from a customer care cell.
                                  how can they activate hello tunes services or any other VAS with our confirmation. is it their wish whenever to start any service and charge from our balance???

                                  AirTel is a Crap Company, they just Activate ur Services (like Hello Tunes) by default and Automatically without Your Permission. And when u try to Deactivate that Services their Customer Care fools u around and u just lands nowhere ..worst they pay for making urself fool, ie the charge for customer care help.

Last week I received a message from airtel hellotune section saying that hello tune has been activated and amount of Rs. 45 has been deducted from my balance. I have not opted for any airtel hellotunes. The company is activating this facility by force and charging the cost on us. The Company is looting poor people money like this. I have heard similar complaints from many prepaid users.

                                    Airtel — Airtel Live Activation without notice

                                    II have a Airtel CUG connection no [protected] issued by my employer Indian Railway Institute of Transport Management, Lucknow. I had requested for GPRS activation which was not done. Instead, they activated Airtel Live without my knowledge. This has caused to swell my daily usage charges which comes to me through sms. This needs to be checked and the amount charged for Airtel Live which was activated without my notice should be reversed.

I complaint also to airtel customer care executive that, "I have not subscribed for any service pls deactivate it and return my balance then they said that it is our technical problem and you got your money in next 24 hours and the service will be deactivate...we are forwarding your complaint." But no action has been taken by them and daily they charging me for this service...kindly help.

                                      Airtel Mobile Services — Cheating customer

                                      I had purchased an Airtel post paid connection in Jan 09. They had verified my address by calling my other contact number and also visiting my residence. My connection was never activated.
                                      In Mar I was surprised to receive a bill of about Rs 150/- for services I never used or infact never activated. Whenenver I call up the customer service number 121, they say that the address verification is pending and I need to visit a nearest customer relationship centre. Whenever a complaint is lodged the reply is that some one will get back within 24 hrs, however if 24 years pay by i will not receive a call from Airtel.
                                      Couple of things to be noted.
                                      1) When a person had visited for verification why does their system say verification pending.
                                      2) When the number has not been activated, why the bill?

                                      When asked for a refund of the deposit money they say that it has been adjusted in the bill.

                                      If this is the attitude even before getting a customer, i wonder what is the treatment metted out to existing customers. They are nothing but cheats.

                                      Today i.e. on 20/20/2009 i clicked on the link given above from my mobile and the very next moment i got a message from Airtel Live (54321) as below:

                                      You have been charged Rs 99. Play Games http://gclub.in

                                      I called up to the Customer Care (121) immediately and they said that they can not help it. Since i have clicked it i have to pay Rs. 99 as rental. I just want to know that where you people have mentioned in that message that it is chargeable or terms and conditions are applicable. Please note down the reference number that i got from customer care: F[protected]. See its not a matter of Rs. 99/- but its a matter of cheating customers. I am really not interested in any such activity. Now tell me if i have already taken unlimited downloading plan then why would i pay Rs. 99/- extra for a service wherein nothing is mentioned that whether its chargeable or not.

                                      Apart from this i have activated Missed Call Alert service on my number. Since 4 to 5 months i have been charged monthly rental of same but i done recieve a single message from yopur end about same. Despite the fact that i always get complaints from my colleague/ freinds/ family/ etc that my mobile is always not reachable because of network problem.

                                      I am really fed up with the service thats why i am writing this mail.

                                      Kindly help the needful or else i have to opt for some other options.

                                      " Dear subscriber, you have been trying to download Kitni Bechain Hoke songs.Click on the link below to download the same. http://10.5.10.79/hmv/click.asp?msg=mp3H" from 56060

                                      and my balance reducing. i called several time to customer care executive but they can't give me any clue.

                                      Sir I had airtel mobile prepaid service more than 4 years. sevaral times my balance is high on that time i couild not care about any deduction knowingly i ignored the deduction .In recent days i am not able to keep the huge balance. on 15 the feb2010 i changed my plan to seconds. and stoped extra options.but on[protected] @12.30 pm i was received aSMS deduting Rs 30/ for airtel radio option.suddenly i contacted authorities they told that option was given by me on[protected] hence they deducted. I objected and asked re credit but they willnot care and I send 100 numbers of Sms to 121, 1210, 876, 405. 404, there is no response only TRY LATER NOT ABLE TO PROCESS they arenotgiving any response only they are giving recording messages. As a valuable customer felt it very much and contacted regarding in another phone they replied immeadialtely by Mr, Venkatesh the amout may be credited on[protected].As such bad experince destraying good will o[censored]r concern and tend to switch over to another company with our friends. kindly took this mater and solve to continue as usual My mobil sim no is[protected] and see my privious records o[censored]sage Thanking You.

                                      If you are a Airtel mobile user and wish to shift to other service provider through MNP, then beware of Airtel using following trick for stopping you from deserting Airtel =>
                                      When you send an SMS from your Airtel number to 1900 so as to receive your porting code thereby Airtel gets to know that this particular customer is planning to say Good bye to Airtel.
                                      When I applied for my porting code through SMS I recived a call from Airtel call centre asking me what is the reason of my proposed shift to other operator( docomo).
                                      When i told him that the reason is high tariff of airtel services he told me that as because i am their valued customer now airtel has one plan for me and the plan is that " all my local calls will be charged at 30 paise/min and all local airtel at 10 paise/min ", after telling this he asked me that will i be still shifting to other operator ?
                                      I said that if airtel would offer 30paise/min to me then i will not be shifting docomo, => now, the clever telecaller told me that to activate this service (30 paisa/min), i will have to send one sms to some number.
                                      ( i dont remember that number now), accordingly I send that SMS and I received a reply that thankue for cancelling you Porting Code request and thankue for continuing with Airtel.
                                      After that when I made a call to a local number I should have been charged at 30 paise/min (as communicated to me by their executive) but to my surprise no tariff change has took place and after 1 month my calls are still charged at 1.2 paise/second i.e. 72 paise/min ( and not 30 paise/min).
                                      This way Airtel executive lied and got my earlier porting request cancelled.
                                      Therefore never trust Airtel people and what ever they promise they will never keep their promise.
                                      They are still charging SMS at stone age era rates of 1 Re/sms local and 1.5 Rs/sms national.
                                      When everyone is charging 1paisa/second and infact some are charging 1 paisa/2 seconds, it is Airtel which is charging 1.2 paisa/second.

                                      Dear Sir,

                                      I am new port in customer in Vodafone.

                                      My problem is my credit limit is decreased from Rs 4600/- to 500/- without intimating me. And for call charges not given me as committed plan

                                      I talked with all customer care officers; backend team as well as nodal officer from last 16th March 2012, also forwarded my earlier mobile bill for increasing my credit limit as per your SMS dated 4th March 2012 - my credit limit is Rs 4600/- and at next day they decreased to Rs 500/-

                                      Your Ulhasnagar Vodafone – ADIAMMA MOBILE WORLD VODAFONE MINI STORE – cheated me they did all this without intimating me. They had given wrong information to get my connection.

                                      I am really upset for this kind of inconvenience and trouble, I am using this number from last 9 years but this is worst experience.

                                      And from 14th March 2012 SMS received is my credit limit is 500/- and threatening me for disconnection it is really embarrassing situation as being a postpaid user.

                                      Now as newly port in customer how i can recommend to others for Vodafone connection. If nothing will happen then you have 50 days out of 90 days 40 days gone you can’t do harassment more than that?
