Sir,
This is to inform you that i have taken a new airtel prepaid connection on monday(08 sep 2008) in patna.I have submitted the required document to avail services.Meantime I have to move delhi very urgently on tuesday(09 sep 2008).Its been 4 days and still the number is not activated.My brother called to customer care several times but the customer executive told that number has been activated.But here I m not able to make call and also not able to receive any call.Is this services, i expect from airtel.I request you please activate my no asap, atleast activate my incoming call urgently so that i can receive my call.Hope you can understand urgency and do the needful.

AirTel — prepaid connection not activated

On 1st april I had approached the R.G.Cellular Airtel shop at Golpark for changing my postpaid connection to prepaid connection . I paid my dues of Rs.4152 vide my customer account No[protected], receipt no[protected] .I was told by the staff one Ms Majumdar that it will get activ ated by 3rd April. TIll today i.3e. 4th april it has not been activated .After speaking to customer care services I was told by them to go to the shop and enquire from there and not from them . This has casued me a lot of wastage of time and money and also mental anguish .
I have also gathered by my experience that Airtel is adept in fleecing its customers and only believes in making money and not in providing service to its customer .

I therefore request your forum to take cognisance of my complaint and take strict action against Airtel

    From last one month I am receiveing call from airtel telecom, and ask me " you are Mr. Prasanna, some time ask you Mr. Rakesh Yadav, your bill is over due, plz pay ASAP", whether am saying NO am not Mr.Prasanna and for your kind information am not airtel customer and plz don''t call me again in this regard. First they call me once in a day. Now from last 1 week they calling 3-4 times a day and disturbing contineously during am busy with my office work/driving.

      Dear Sir,
      On 14/04/2008 I have lodged a complaint for network problem in my resident area for which they have provided me a complaint no. 16294511. Till now I have not received any reverts yet and the complaint no. is still open. I waited for long and tried calling up airtel customer care but no resolution.

      This is regarding my Mobile Connection No. [protected] and [protected] in the name of Rohit Agarwal, D-10, Ground Floor, Sec-41, Noida – 201301. From past 2 months I was facing the problem of network connection at my residence, for which I have registered a complaint at your 121. There was no response from your side and I called up again on 23/08/2008 and registered a complaint and after insisting they provided me the compliant no.[protected]. I was been assured that I will get a call from your executive after a week’s time. There was no response for the same and I called up again with Ms.Shilpa on 03/09/2008 and she assured me for the best of the services and will arrange a call back after 3 working days. Today is 09/09/2008 and still no response. I called up again at 121 and spoke to Mr.Pranav, Instruction ID[protected], and he told me that I should wait for 48 hrs more for the resolution or call back from airtel side. Then on insisting for speaking to the manager, he confirmed me that he will arrange a call back after 1 hr from his manager at around 20:30 hrs. I waited for one and half an hour and called up the customer care executive for the resolution and spoke to Mr.Ankit Bhatia, manager who was not at all ready to solve the problem and instead was giving me a new time frame for the resolution and after insisting on the commitment he gave a time frame of 1 month for the query resolution.

      I think airtel has become so big that they even cannot solve their old customer’s query that are maintaining their relationship with airtel from more than 8 years and make them round and round and round. I think its your duty to provide better service to the customer by better network and connectivity and moreover a better customer care manager who can solve your issue quickly instead of Mr.Anurag Bhatia making us call your customer care every 4th day.

      Please help us solving the issue.

      Airtel Mobile — coverage problem....

      Airtel Mobile — Coverage Problem

      Dear Sir,

      I am using AirTel Mobie service for 6 years. Recently I shifted from East Delhi to South Delhi (JG Block, Khirki Extn, Malviya Nagar).

      Since I shifted to this area, I am facing network coverage problem.

      I made complaint Customer Care & AirTel Nodel Officer many times. All the time I receive massage like coverage problem resolved but nothing happened till now.
      Following are my complain numbers.

      I made complaint to local Airtel Relationship Center, Main Market, Malviya Nagar. According to there executives, coverage problem persist in Khirki Extn, Malviya Nagar. That’s why also they don’t recommend AirTel wireless internet for that area. I am requesting sincerely that kindly resolve this problem as soon as possible because I don’t want to switch another services.

        Maine 5.09.08 ko 395/- ka recharge karvaya tha jisme mobile par ya pc se connect kar unlimited download aur surfing ki facility thi jiski dwara palna nahin ki gayi. Download karne par uske 700/- bina information diye kat liye gaye.
        iske bad customer care executive se baat karne par bataya ki isme koi free download hai hi nahin, jo ki scheme ke antargat bilkool free tha aur yeh scheme mujhe message dekar batai thi.

          AirTel - India — kidnapping

          my name is kalil from Ramanathapuram at tamilnadu in india.my brother Mr. kalith was kidnapped by unnoun guys on yester day. i was complient at local police station.             I took a pre paid connection from splendid towers, Begumpet, Hyderabad, Andhra pradesh.

            The mobile number is [protected] . When my friends/relatives/collegues call from US it says as Invalid number.

            I have written a mail to [protected]@airtel and they send me a mail saying like it is a invalid mobile number. When i contact escalation manager & executives they say like there is no technical problem and whenever new series is launched they will have isssues for 45 days.
            The excutive says like it happened for 9000 series also. They are not changing my number nor refunding the amount nor rectifying the problem.
            Could anyone help me out

I have Recharge to <99*12 Month's> for Life time validity but Right Now I m facing problem about that have no validity Plz can you tel me about how can do this have already lifetime so why I Do again Recharge for Validity .Also I m facing problem about my Number's IVR bard. I am also working in Aegis BPO and i know about to continue my life time validity should be recharge 200*6Month's. And I do. When contact CCE then He/She unable to give me inform about what type of problem on my number.

              Hello madam, i have topup my airtel simcard using fast recharge.com using my icicibank debit card .they also send me the secret pin no.but the no is not valid .the pin which is received is incactive. Still i dint get any solution for this problem from the fast recharge.com.still the secret number which u have given is not valid i had sent many mails regarding this problem. PLease kindly do the needful otherwise i have all documant with me to produce legal notice to ur company. And copy of this mail also sent to airtel head office. surely i ill put leagal notice to ur website regarding thsi problem. kindly dothe needful otherwise be ready to get legal notice

                I have subscribed for the SMS services named "MARATHI CHAR" i.e. 4 lines of poems in Marathi through SMS. For the same 7/- per week from by balance were deducted.
                I wanted to disconnect with the services. I have informed the same to your customer care executive in the last month on 121 but the service still continued and for the last three weeks total 21/- has been deducted for this service.
                I have complained atleast for 4 times for the deduction of money on 121, but still the money was continued to be deducted from my number. I don't know what kind of action has been proceeded for the same but the charges are still deducted from my account
                You are kindly requested to disconnect this service to my number and restore the unnecessary charges which are deducted from my number

                  Greetings.

                  I, MAya Basavaraj Kotiwale, have purchased a Nokia moblie (N-73) with an Airtel prepaid connection (tel. no.- [protected]), 6th Jan'08, from the Mobile store, Ghatkopar (E).
                  Today morning, suddenly at about 9:30, my this above mentioned moble displyed a message saying " SIM card registration failed", and now I am unable to call or receive incoming calls. Moreover am not able to get AIRTEL Customer Care contact no by any means. Hnece it is requested that kindly do the needfull.

                  THIS CASE REFERS TO MY NEW NOKIA N73 MOBILE USED WITH AIRTEL CELLPHONE CONNECTION,O[censored]P WEST, AS I AM FACING THE PROBLEM OF "CONNECTION ERROR" MESSAGE WHICH APPEARS ON THE PHONE SCREEN WHILE DIALING A NUMBER, I HAVE CONTACTED THE NOKIA SERVICE CHANNEL, BUT THEY SAID THE PHONE IS OK, AS OTHER NETWORK SIM RUNS PROPERLY ON THE SAME MOBILE, EXCEPT AIRTEL SO I CONTACTED AIRTEL CUSTOMER CARE TO REPLACE THE SIM, BUT THEY SAID THAT THERE IS NO PROBLEM IN THE SIM AS IT RUNS PERFECTLY ON OTHER MOBILE HANDSET., I AM IN THE CONFUSED STATE WHAT IS THE SOLUTION FOR THE PROBLEM AND HOE THE COMPANIES ARE DIVERTING TO EACH OTHER INSTEAD OF GIVING THE SOLUTION TOWARDS THE PROBLEM , AS THE NUMBER IS IMPORTANT AND I CAN'T CHANGE IT, IT IS THE BIG EXAMPLE OF POOR SERVICE QUALITY AND NEGLIGENCY.

                    Dear Sir,
                    My airtel prepaid no is [protected].Airtel friends card.
                    I am from Akola (M.S.).
                    My Network service is automatically cut from last month.When I was went to Airtel gallary at Akola, the executive told me that u have to swap the SIM. Accordingly, , I have paid Rs.100 and swap the SIM, But till not it is not activated.Message is come on my cell when I restart my cell with that sim i.e. SIM registration filed.
                    I have check from your call centre, they told me your all services are active. Then why this problem is arised?
                    Please tell me clear solution. Otherwise I have mood to go to customer court. My alternate cell no. [protected].
                    Please come with faster solution.

                    Airtel/prepaid card — cutting charges fr services not availed

                    dear sir,i am using airtel mobile no [protected],these people cut the charges of services not asked fr,not availed,recently they started matrimonial service without my consent,Today at 6pm when i had abalance of 36 rupees ,without any call they just deducted 30 rupees,
                    this has happened plenty of time.modus operandi goes like this,they will send u the msge rasking wheather u want particular service for exa. astrology,if i dont want that particular service i am suppose to intimate them within 5 min flat,failing to do so they start the service i[censored] r prompt enough to intimate ur NO,THEN THEY START GIVING U THE OPTIONS OF DISCONTINUING THE SAID SERVICE RATHER THAN TO STOP THE SERVICE IMMEDIATELY.
                    this is utter,loot,no paperwark otherwise here so becomes difficult to prove

                      Dear Sir,

                      I have GPRS active connection. But I am not able open any web page; even on mobile. On mobile: ‘’PACKET DATA NOT AVAILABLE.CHECK NETWORK SERVICES” message appears.



                      With PC I am facing same problem.

                      I am facing this problem for the last 4 days. I have made several messages to 121; still my problem is not solved.

                      I am not getting any support from customer care even they aren't picking phones.


                      Please look into matter. & solve my problem as soon as possible.

                        I am using Airtel services for 3 years and eventually, to my misery, made it a primary number.

                        Hope the concerned is aware about the importance of a primary number for business relations and work.

                        Recently, I had to keep my number in safe custody, due to some travel plans.
                        After my return, when I am trying activate the number again, its 12 days and all my efforts are in vain.

                        I had been following up with local representative centre everyday more than once on phone and even personal visits.

                        It was a very pathetic experience, with representatives misguiding by saying, it’s activated and retry. After 7 days of request, 0n 6th September, your representatives are mentioning about some irregularity in your system and to rectify it, you need time.

                        Still on 10th September, there is no results and my work is getting affected badly, with inability to receive my important business call.
                        The ultimate solution could be to move out of Airtel services, but then what’s the use of paying Rs. 300 for safe custody.

                        If any recipient, understands the criticality of situation, then expect actions ASAP both for my case as well your system.

                          i had a airtel prepaid connection vide no[protected] since 1 year.last week at 8 pm i rcd msg from airtel to recharge your mobile withrs 200/ once in 6 month due to life time connection.
                          next day early in the morning the company i.e airtel disconnect/inactive my no-[protected].i call another mobile to customer care service the told me the airtel no permantly disconnect due to non recharge.i am resident of village buria there is no reccharge shopkeeper at night not evan company given the 24 hour to recharge my mobile to avoid the disconnect.
                          i am serving in bank, i am facing lot of problem due to this disconnection.this airtel no sumbitted in various part of job ie.nsdl, hdfc demat a/c, examination board, sms alert.
                          please look into the matter & reconnect my airtel no once to recharge my mobile 200/-in every 6 months

                          I have the same problem!! I was using the prepay no. for last 8 years and everyone was having this no.

                          It has got more than Rs 500 balance when I was gone abroad in march 2009 and I didn't use it for about 2 months and after coming back in june 2009 when I used it ... it says unregistered sim. I spoke to airtel customer service they said go to airtel showroom. When I went to airtel showroom they said this no. was not in use thats why it has been recycled.

                          I said why didn't you send me any notification about this and moreover it has got balance in it, how you can recycle it and they simply said we can't do anything about it. I said I will pay your fees to reactivate it becuase this no. is very important to me. but they said in a very rude manner we have told you that this no. is now for resale.

                          Then I said I will sue you becuase this is just a fraud Airtel is cheating the customers. They are stealing their money and customer service is also so rude.

                          If someone can help please do.

                            i am also using icici credit card but airtel account was credited from both the way that is from m check also and from icici credit card so that where is my access money
                            User can't register for m check service through SBI ATM cum DEBIT Card which is commonly used card and is available in the hands of common man.
                            i can not creat my airtel mchech account and i have ubi account
                            do not recharge my prepaid airtel card through mCHECK
                            User can't register for m check service through SBI ATM cum DEBIT Card and Canara bank atm cum debit visa card which is commonly used card and is available in the hands of common man.
                            bob visa card is aceptable for m'check?

                              i m having an airtel number [protected]...my bill was due last month...i have paid my bill through cheque on 16th of august...(ch. no.058210)of rs.451.71..i got a call from an executive on 23rd of august that my cheque has been returned due to in sufficient balance in my bank...i enquired in my bank and i got a cleared balance which was above rs 50000...i asked ur executive to kindly send me my returned cheques witth reason paper which bank send to them...but they told me that they cant return that reason paper to me...
                              without receiving tht paper i cant fight with banks...at present they send me my bill including the charge of rs 100 as cheque bounce charge and a late fees of rs50..
                              now i m very dissappointed with the way they talk to me...and they asked me to collect my return cheque from there salt lake office...now its not possible for me to go there and to collect that cheque...
                              i m really very with the way you talk and ur services...i cant continue this connection anymore with u people...
                              please send me the reply as soon as posible...

                                Dear Service Provider,

                                It is very Strange and sad to see the status of a connection not being provided.
                                I had deposited Rs 200 as a deposit fees to Mr Neeraj Sharma, in Raipur for installing a broadband connection of Rs 499/ rental per month. I was promised that it will be done in 2 days, now it has been more than 4 days and I am yet to get the connection.
                                This is a matter of Raipur and following is my address.

                                I have given all the documents along with a check of rs.1500 for airtel broadband wifi connection on
                                07-Aug-2009. While receiving the documents airtel representative told me that he will give the connection within 2 working days. And now its almost 17 days. No one will give the proper status and the service is horrible. They are bluffing the customers saying 2 days and are very prompt in clearing the cheque rather than giving the connection.

                                This is a very horrible service that is never expected.

                                  I have been following on complaint number [protected] since 26th Jun and no resolution happen yet. Here is details of my communication with Airtel:



                                  On 26th morning I checked airtel web site, found that on Rs. 199 recharge I will get Lifetime validity & 95.02 Rs talktime (Downloaded PDF from airtel is attached).

                                  I got a message with transaction number 35754824, saying that recharge has been completed successfully. But I didn’t get any validity & talktime.

                                  Then I registered a complaint on 26th Jun with Bharath TM. Complaint number is [protected], he assured me that I will get a call back by 3PM on the same day, unfortunately I didn’t get any call.

                                  Then I again called on 1st July and spoke to Prasad, he assured me that this will get resolved in 48 working hours. Call reference number is [protected], unfortunately nothing happened in that time period.

                                  Then I again called on 3rd July and spoke to Shree, she assured me that this will get resolved in 48 working hours. Call reference number is[protected], unfortunately nothing happened in that time period as well.

                                  Today morning I called again and spoke to Asha, she said I need to register one more complain, I said no I don’t want to register any new complaint, then she said she can’t help me. Call reference number is [protected].

                                  Then I called to Nodel Officer (Mr. Madhu), he told me please send PDF & he will take care of this complaint.


                                  It was really a frustrating experience dealing with Airtel.

                                    i am having an airtel broad connection connection from last 5-6 years. i am having a problem in the services of this connection. there is no connectivity in this connection from last four months. have lodged the complaint so many times but of no use. have lodged complaint in their head office, thier local office as well as their customer care center but still of no use. then i have stopped the payment of their bill then suddenly they woke up and said that u pay the bill and your connection will start working in 24 hours. now again its almost 10 days nobody has bothered to come over and find the fault. am paying the charges from last four months without using the connection. so now i request you to look in the matter and help me. my details of the number are as follows.

                                      I had got a new airtel connection and DSL installed on 6th sept[protected]. Thereafter I had been facing some problems due to clash to software with my reliance data card. On 9th morning we called the local rep mr amit and asked for his visit. Two persons turned up at five pm. On being asked for their complain book, to register for the delay, they replied that they have none, and they have been informed about the complain just sometime back. Mr Amit is not available and not contactable. They gave the cell numbers to their Complain Coordinator Mr Feroz and a Sr Officer My Yanenrdra. On calling Mr Feroz, I asked him" is that Mr Feroz? " . To which the reply was " who are you?" He was extremly arrogant in his behaviour and asked me to keep my phone down. Later I called Mr Yanendra, and on talking to him, I asked him to provide me the contact details of their Office head, to which he replied that u can visit our office and meet the customer care officers and they shall give me the details. On begin asked the landline number of the office board/reception, he said there is none.

                                      Hi sir this is srinivas varaparla.i booked a broadband connection on 25/07/09 and the techinal people came to fix the modem and wire on 28(tuesday) and they said that with in 2hours u can access the internet but on the same day they came and said there is some problem in lines kindly bare.but till now i dnt get any connecton.There is no proper response also.

                                        I have a mobile postpaid connection with airtel. In the month of June'08, I received a bill of Rs. -157.07, which included a payment of Rs. 527/- paid by cheque. Now since the last one month call centre executives have been calling me and harrassing me mentioning that "I have a outstanding of Rs. 742/- (they are claiming payment of Rs. 527/- have been reverted back to my bank, which is not true). In between this, i received an invoice amounting to Rs. 258/-, which was paid on time. Due to wrong doings in accounts of airtel, outgoing as well as incoming calls to my mobile have been blocked. This is truely blackmailing on part of the service provider.

                                        I booked a internet & telephone connection on[protected] at 1000 hrs. Shri Bhimsen (cell No. [protected]) from Bharti Airtel Services Ltd., B-38C-1, Sector 57, NOIDA came to my residence. He filled a few set of forms (NO. 1747269) and I gave him a cheque of Rs. 1850/- ( reciept No. 665737). He told me that the connection will be provided to you by 1- 6- 2009 positively.
                                        I had a BSNL internet & telephone connection. On his assurence, I gave an application in the BSNL Telephone Exchange to de-activate these connections w.e.f. 31-5-09 (A/N).
                                        On 31-5-09 evening, Shri Bhimsen told me that the connection can not be provided to you because of some capacity problem. In such a situation, anybody in my place will be shocked.
                                        I also talked to two officers of 'Customer Care' ( phone No. 4444555). I explained them the problem. They were unable to give me any feedback/ information.
                                        Now, I want the following:
                                        Airtel should honour it's commitment and I should be given the connection as ealy as possible keeping in view the date of my booking i.e. 28-5-09 (F/N).
                                        Please let me know the probable date of providing the connection.
