I am using Airtel services for 3 years and eventually, to my misery, made it a primary number.
Hope the concerned is aware about the importance of a primary number for business relations and work.
Recently, I had to keep my number in safe custody, due to some travel plans.
After my return, when I am trying activate the number again, its 12 days and all my efforts are in vain.
I had been following up with local representative centre everyday more than once on phone and even personal visits.
It was a very pathetic experience, with representatives misguiding by saying, it’s activated and retry. After 7 days of request, 0n 6th September, your representatives are mentioning about some irregularity in your system and to rectify it, you need time.
Still on 10th September, there is no results and my work is getting affected badly, with inability to receive my important business call.
The ultimate solution could be to move out of Airtel services, but then what’s the use of paying Rs. 300 for safe custody.
If any recipient, understands the criticality of situation, then expect actions ASAP both for my case as well your system.

AirTel — prepaid connection not activated
On 1st april I had approached the R.G.Cellular Airtel shop at Golpark for changing my postpaid connection to prepaid connection . I paid my dues of Rs.4152 vide my customer account No[protected], receipt no[protected] .I was told by the staff one Ms Majumdar that it will get activ ated by 3rd April. TIll today i.3e. 4th april it has not been activated .After speaking to customer care services I was told by them to go to the shop and enquire from there and not from them . This has casued me a lot of wastage of time and money and also mental anguish .I have also gathered by my experience that Airtel is adept in fleecing its customers and only believes in making money and not in providing service to its customer .
I therefore request your forum to take cognisance of my complaint and take strict action against Airtel
