      i possed a prepaid connection of airtel no:[protected]. on 8th august a message received from airtel that your subscription to christian alerts has been activated thank you. from airtellive on 14:55 and immidiately second message received that thanks for using (alert.alert) subscription service on airtel ussd you have been chargesd Rs 7 from 64611007 on 14:56, immidiately we talk to customer care about charging Rs 7 and why & how you can start this facility without my prior permition. customer executive ansered that we will forward complaint and do needful. even after that we got sms form airtellive for renewal & immidiately sms for charges.again we spoke to customer care executive and as per his suggesstion we sms to 52206 by writing UNS. again today we received the sms about renewal. we spoke to customer executive three time but every time they disconnect. now i request you that show me the way to stop this service and let me free from this harrasement

        sir,

        i am having a an airtel postpaid connection @499 plan. and i activated a buddy number for 99/month i.e i will b charged 5 paise for a call for local airtel number. but for last two months (July and august). this firm has charged 50 paise per a cal. and it is around 3500 Rs..so i approached them with this details and i dint get any proper response from them. so i am finding for a proper and reasonable justice.

        Dear Sir,
        I have an airtel connection in the name of Ms. Shipra bhati. ([protected]). Ever since I have taken this connection I have been facing constant billing related problems, about which I wrote a strong complaint earlier too and which was sadly not considered. Now, I have been using this number while travelling frequently and the bills which I had been paying were paid online and the bills could not be viewed.

        I had earlier activated a one rupee per STD call package and was billed with the same tariff for a few months too. Some days back, to my utter surprise, I received a call from a customer care executive who told me that this package was not activated on my number and that I should get it done now. I immediately called the executives on the numbers (given at the end) and told them about this problem. I was told that the problem would be resolved and that the previous bills will also be settled. Now that I received the bill for this month, I find that not only I am being charged Rs. 1.50 per STD call but also have been charged late fee for God knows what !!!

        I have checked my previous bills an dthey have been charged on the same tariff. What should I do ???????

        I Sunam Das, S/O Late Sachinandan Das, add- Manipal IT Education, Advanced Technologies, Kerchowmuhani, Agartala - 799001, having the Airtel post paid connection ( Phone no. [protected] ), received the post paid bill ( No.[protected] &[protected] for the month of Aug. & Sept. 2008.

        The bill amount showing on the above bills are huge amount that is absolutely abnormal.

        I have full objection against the above bills. In that bills, the same number is displaying in multiple times on a particular date with a long period of time duration where as my calling period is never longer than 10 or 15 min., also have a lot call drop events.

        I have complained to the Airtel's customer care again & again but they do not respond me any more and also do not give me any docket number.

        I was out of station for 1 month fro my some immediate work at kolkata. After return, Airtel's collection executives of Shivjoyti Enterprise, Agartala ( Abhijit Sarkar one of them ) have threatning me to kill if the bills are not paid before 22/11/2008.

        So, at this situation, kindly help me to solve this problem.

        For the last three-four months bills for two of my mobiles [protected] and [protected] are not receiving. Requests over phone and through e-mail (of my secretary [protected]@dlf.in) are made but all in vein. On 9.12.2008 a telephonic request at yr complaint 19669601 was made and assurance was being given that duplicate bill for the same would be received within five (5) days. See, where is the problem creating?

            Hello,
            Me, Pooja Gupta with connection No. "[protected]". It has been observed that messages are not delivered to other numbers from last week. In sent items it shows that message has been delivered, but actuaaly it doesn't reach to destination No. Even the balance get deducted. The reason is not understandable.

            It is therefore requested that the problem may please be looked upon and short out the same immediately.

            I would strongly agree to this. I having the sxact same problem with multiple airtel prepaid connections from kolkata trying to send to Germany. Phone calls go wihtout problem and i can receive sms from the number without problem.

            On sending the sms it mentioned message delivered and Rs 5.00 is deducted from the balance but sms is never sent.

              During 2005, I have taken Lifetime prepaid card ([protected]) at the cost of Rs.1100/-, again paid 250 Rs. on 6/10/2007 towards get 1Rs/min for all local call. After the month all Lifetime prepaid customer get above facility without paying aforesaid cost. Ok, it is marketing. However, even though I paid that much. They are deducting tax of 22% while currency recharge. This tax rate (12%) varies with other Lifetime prepaid customer ([protected], [protected] [protected]). It shows their negligence towards old Lifetime prepaid customer.

                I have been an airtel user for 5 months. I previously had used airtel from[protected]. But from the last 3 weeks, every time I try to make any call, the network goes to ZERO. Whenever I call customer care, they keep me on hold for 15-20 minutes saying that they are transferring the call to a certain supervisor.

                I would be obliged if this matter is looked into. As I have been making calls and continuously losing balance, but I haven't had a proper conversation with anyone.

                I do not ask for a refund. What I ask is that this network problem be solved immediately.

                        I have the same problem!! I was using the prepay no. for last 8 years and everyone was having this no.

                        It has got more than Rs 500 balance when I was gone abroad in march 2009 and I didn't use it for about 2 months and after coming back in june 2009 when I used it ... it says unregistered sim. I spoke to airtel customer service they said go to airtel showroom. When I went to airtel showroom they said this no. was not in use thats why it has been recycled.

                        I said why didn't you send me any notification about this and moreover it has got balance in it, how you can recycle it and they simply said we can't do anything about it. I said I will pay your fees to reactivate it becuase this no. is very important to me. but they said in a very rude manner we have told you that this no. is now for resale.

                        Then I said I will sue you becuase this is just a fraud Airtel is cheating the customers. They are stealing their money and customer service is also so rude.

                          My complaint is my number was disconnected without any intimation . My daughter who has gone to U.S.A for studies and she is carrying this number [protected] . i have regularly paid all my bills i want to know how dare the airtel authorities for the disconnection of my number without my permission on asking the reason from customer care the floor manager PANKAJ YADAV said that the credit limit was over . He talked in nonsense way on the phone now

                          My Question is who has given the permission to airtel to disconnect my phone as a consumer i am only concerned with the bill what ever amount is ther in the bill we are paying it and most of the times we have to ask for our bill on costumer care
                          i have not signed any contract with airtel in which any CREDIT POLICY is mentioned, neither airtel has a courtesy to inform the consumer as it was told to me that airtel cannot inform to the consumer who is on international roaming is this the type of service airtel gives and how can you disconnect consumers connection on on international roaming if airtel cannot inform that consumer .Or airtel should have courtesy to in the consumer on the alternate numbers .

                          And now i am sorry to say that airtel has proven to be the worst in teleecommunication it is worst giving worst services in this competitive time

                          My daughter could not communicate with us My daughter remained without any means of communication because of airtel's worst sevices and couldn't communicate with us . she suffered so badly and her condition was so miserable because in a new place she could not to locate the public calling booths or any other telecom devices . Is this the services of AIRTEL that a child sitting far in california (U.S)
                          has suffered badly due to the worst services of airtel .

                          NOW I AM GOING TO PUT MY THIS CASE INCONSUMER COURTS AND I WILL REQUEST THEM TO SETTLE A HARASSMENT COST AND GIVE IT TO MY DAUGHTER AND GIVE IT TO MY DAUGHTER YOU WILL BE GETIING A NOTICE FROM THE COURT VERY VERY SOON AND SIDE BY SIDE NEXT I AM GOING TO FORWARDTHIS CASE TO AAPKI KACHERI WITH KIRAN BEDI TO HIGHLIGHT THE ACTUAL SERVICES AIRTEL GIVES TO THEIR COSTUMERS

                          AND NOW FINALLY I AM GOING TO HIGHHLIGHT THIS CASE IN NEWS PAPER AND WITH MEDIA TO MAKE THE PEOPLE AWARE THAT NEVER EVER TRUST ON AIRTEL SERVICES THERE WILL BE ALWAYS BREACH OF TRUST .

                            The biggest mistake that I had made was that I took an Airtel postpaid connection. After months of requesting them, i could finally manage to get my post paid plan changed to prepaid plan in Abrol Telecom, pathankot. These people gave me the SIm without asking me to submit any documents. when I got recharhe of 500 done. after a week my connection was stopped . It said that this no. does not exist.
                            After making hundreds of call, we came to know that the connection had been disccontinued because documents foe verification purpose had not been submitted. But whose fault was that. Did they inform me about it > then how could they without intimation discontinue my no.
                            After that my cell started working again . a month ago I was out of Punjab & my no. was at roaming. I was travelling all alone with my little kid. During the ourney i realised that my outgoing facility had been stopped. After reaching at udaipur I had make many a calls to the customer service executives. But it seemed Airtel makes a bunch of jokers sit at customer service cells to address to the problems. After hearing my complain they rewarded me . They completely stopped my connection The incoming facility was also withdrawn & it showed no signal whatsover. The customer care executive of Airtel told me that my SIM card had become corrupt. So i needed to buy a new SIM card for Rs. 190.
                            I called up Sh. Ramanpreet walia, Executive Chief, Talk Zone, Pathankot He was very helpful to get my connection started without getting my SIM Changed. As soon as I returned I again submitted my documents.
                            A week back, Airtel, third time, discontinued my connection . According to them my documents had not been submmitted .
                            being an MBA lecturer, I give lectures on Treating customer as king. whereaas in India nobody is bothered about the inconvenience the cause to their customers. Airtel is the biggest fraud in India . Kindly stay away from Airtel

                              "The key success to Archiesonline is the fact that we have always focused on emotions and feelings and given our best. Every thing that you buy online is exclusive. If there is any problem from the order that you have placed, our customer care will help and answer your queries."

                              It is unfortunate that you still keep saying "always focused on emotions and feelings and given our best” when the fact is that you care a damn. I know ideally the business you are in should also have courtesy & humility apart from "emotions and feelings" but I will fight to stop you from using that too. Giving a heart break on the valentine's is the biggest crime your business can commit. I booked the order 4 days in advance after checking the availability, I thought we could further personalise this by coordinating the time of delivery and wishing my valentine just after receipt of gift, but to my surprise a Barefaced unapologetic Mr. Amardeep Singh(posing to be the manager of ecommerce) informed me forget about the wishing and coordination we are not even able to deliver your gift as shocked as I was could not react for a bit but after coming to terms with reality I asked him in disbelief what happened? He said without any regret "we are out of stock" I said well can you help me with any alternative solution, may be another one or anything else? he again ruthlessly said “you are too late, the dispatch is done for the day ”

                              1. My question is where is all the “emotions and feelings” that you talk about??
                              2. Why, was I not informed about this, why did I take my call to know that there is a heartbreak awaited on valentine’s day for trusting the so called best and most expensive in the business??
                              3. Is it not your professional & moral responsibility to at least inform the customer, job will not be done even though we got paid (card debited)?
                              4. I ask what is it that you can do to unbreak my heart, my hurt feelings due to no fault of mine? and if you can’t do anything then I have to make sure it does not happen to someone else

                              Would atleast expect a sincere revert.

                                Sir,
                                Yesterday I launched a complaint regarding the topping up of Tamil Nadu Air Tel Mobile from Kerala. I obtained a pin No from oxygen (from net work) for this no. But I cannot recharge the voucher to the Mobile No: [protected] from Kerala. No positive information is received from your local customer care regarding the recharging of the vouchers. If BSNL cistomers this type of difficult is not avilable and they can recharge their recharge vouchers any of the contry at any time. Kindly intimte the facility for recharging such type of vouchers

                                  Airtel — STD calls are not going mobile from any airtel

                                  I am Airtel prepaid mobile phone consumer from Bangalore. I am not able to call to BSNL landline phones in Aska, Orissa (code no- 06822) from past 20 days.

                                  I have complained nine times to the customer care on phone number 121. Each time I talk to them they apologize for not adhering to the previous commitments and give some more commitments, and nothing concrete has been done. I am not able to call to my home or any other number in Aska, Orissa.

                                  I have three complaint numbers at present. They are: [protected], [protected], and [protected].

                                  Some of the numbers I am not able to call are: [protected](my home number), [protected], [protected], all land line numbers starting with 06822. In fact these numbers are accessible from Vodafone or any other mobile.

                                  I have talked with the local SDO, BSNL. They have checked everything from that side and everything fine there.

                                  Also this problem is there from Airtel Kerala. My brother staying in Kerala is also not able to call my home. (I think the problem is from Airtel Karnataka and Kerala)

                                    Airtel is fooling customers by showing different rates on website and calculating your bills by higher rates. This complaint is for [protected].

                                    I was on international tour from 4th June to 16th June. I Airtel contacted customer care on 3rd June to activate my international roaming to know the international roaming rates for the country I was going.
                                    I was told to visit www.airtel.in to know the latest roaming rates. I did the same and taken a printout for my as well as my family members’ reference.
                                    My phone was ON throughout my visit.
                                    As per schedule, I returned on 16th June. So far everything was going on well.
                                    On one fine day, I received sms from Airtel that my unbilled amount is Rs.28, 880/-, which was big shock to me.
                                    I again visited the website and what I found was, the rates were updated after one and half year that is on 18th June and my bill is generated according to those rates.
                                    The rates were 10 times to the earlier rates.
                                    Thus issues are –
                                    1. Airtel did not update the information on web-site regularly and thus misguides the customers.
                                    2. It claims that Airtel makes aware the user when the credit limit is crossed. In my case they generated the bill when my credit limit was 145.8% of my credit limit but did not inform me at all.
                                    3. Immediately I contacted Customer care, relationship centers to try to resolve the issue. I even contacted so called “Grievance Cell”. I realized, the understating level is very low, or no one wants to resolve the issue.
                                    4. Finally I sent the request to cancel the connection, Airtel woke up and found out that I have due payments and thus cannot cancel the connection unless I pay.
                                    5. I started getting calls to understand the problem. This happened 2.5 months after I registered the complaint for the first time

                                    My conclusions
                                    1. There is absolute no coordination among various departments in Airtel.
                                    2. There is lack of willingness to help the customers.
                                    3. Everyone is so engrossed in the organizational hierarchy, customer is the last category they will pay attention to.
                                    4. The client’ database is very weak, and thus everyone in organization works on half information. For example, billing department will not know that there is complaint registered by same user in customer care regarding billing only.
                                    5. Website is horribly slow, inconsistent, poorly maintained and updated and confusing at times.

                                      i had charged my mobile for Rs44/- for an offer of 10PS to five numbers on 2nd September 2008 at 5:11pm they claim that we could register only once the SMS i Send was in the format FF number number... After calling again and again at last i got activated the number, but only to three numbers other two they have registered are numbers which i don't even know and the customer service is not at all friendly...they r now saying they can do nothing about this its a one month offer. idont know the other numbers as there has been many complaints im a free lance journalist and i at any cost want the other numbers to be activated soon or otherwise i'll be forced to take legal way...
