I applied for a broadband connection in the month of November. The form was filled and the cheque of Rs. 850 favouring Airtel taken which was leter debited from my account. I was not given any recept for the same and the guy told me that he will give me the receipt later. After 10 days the guy went untraceble and his mobile is not valid. Called up Airtel customer service and they ask for the receipt number that was not given to me. I later heard that other people too faced similar problem from Airtel. This is nothing but cheating. Untrustworthy brand. Or rather thieves in white collar. Now I am going for some other service provider and want my money back.

Broadband — recharge not updated in the server

i am a tata indi com custmer i ahve purchased 1 month 128 kbps prepaid vochser . i am calling daily to custmer care but they are not responding

as well as they are not soloving this issue from past 15 days onwords. service is very bad.

I applied for braodband connection (500C) 1 month ago, but I didn't receive modem until now. BSNL agent told me that my request has been approved. I'm still waiting for the connection.

Can you please let me know how long will it take to get the connection?

I have applied for broadband connection 499/- plan on 25 May 2008 in Agra at my residence F-1038 Kamla Nagar agra.Connection is booked by executive Subhashish but now neither they are providing connectoin nor refunding money
afterthat there is possibility of connection.I have also talked to Mr. Suprit, he told me several time I will come but he didnot come.I have last option to go to consumer court.

One day I got an sms requesting me to contact Agarwal Info, Chennai if in case I need Airtel broadband connection. Guess it is a franchise of Airtel. The following were the nos mentioned in the sms:
[protected], [protected]. I called one of these no. as I was in need of Braodband connection. One guy named Harish picked the call. He asked for my address to check the feasiblity in my area as I resided in sholinganalur, Chennai. After an hour I got a call back from him stating me that it is possible for Airtel broadband connection at my home. He requested me to pay a sum of 500Rs to the marketing guy named Magesh. His mobile no. is [protected]. He got my photograph, 570 Rs from me and promised i will get the connection in 4 days time. Then 5th day I called him. He told me to talk with a guy named Krishnakumar who is also an employee of Agarwal info. His mobile no. is [protected]. He didnt respond properly. Every day I used to call him. He was jeep on dragging day by day. Then after 3 weeks time he told me to talk with his manager named Baskar. His mobile no. is [protected]. This guy checked with other team and told me that my house is 95M away from the dp box and it is not possible for them to give connection.
I asked him why the hell they checked for the feasiblity and got 570 Rs from me. He apologised and told that i can be moved to cancelation and I will be getting my money back in 10 days. Yesterday, suddenly Airtel people came to my home for installation. I called baskar why he told that it was not possible previiously. He again apologised and told that his team has achieved the target for the previous month. So, moved my application to next month. So, whatever these people said was not true. They are very big frauds. If you want to get a Airtel broadband connection please go to Airtel showroom direcly rather than going to franshise like Agarwal Info. Because of Agarwal Info., Airtel's name is getting spoiled though they provide good service. Now I go with TATA INDICOM.
Those people are not ready to cancel my connection too. Now my moeny is in vain. Could you please help me in getting the money back. In this world of recession 570 bugs is really a big money for me.

Sub: Regarding misappropriation of Rs.7990/- paid to you vide our Cheque No. 658493 dated 23.11.2008 drawn on State Bank of India, Ambala Cantt.



I paid you the above mentioned cheque for Rs.7990/- for buying 24 months internet connection against purchase of new COMPAQ Pressario PC 3550IL. The connection was provided by providing new connection 4008669 but was disconnected by you without any reason. I have lost this money without any fault of mine. All me efforts and frequent visits to your office at Rattan Chowk, Ambala Cantt failed to bear any results.



Please provide me the connection for which the money has been provided in advance immediately

without any penalty and oblige. I am not responsible for wrong actions and misunderstanding of your staff



If I fail to get satisfactory reply in writing, I shall be forced to seek remedies available under the law, along with compensation for the business lost and harassment.

AIRTEL broadband agent RAJESH YADAV whose phone no. is [protected] has cheated me by not providing a connection and not returning the amount of rs.850. My written complaint to AIRTEL has been of no use. AIRTEL hires agents who are cheats this reflects the organizations standards.

Airtel Broadband — Not doing any thing on my request

On 1st of Aug 2009, I put a request to shift my broadband connection from Dwarka (New Delhi) to Gurgaon. Since then I have made numerous call to get the status of the request. Every time I call, they say that we need another 24 hrs to find the status. When I was putting request, they said status will be conveyed to me within two days and shifting will be done within 7 days. I have spent close to Rs 500 while making calls to AirTel customer care. I want to know from any one on this forum who can give me contact details of the right person. Or where can I approach to get this resolved. Ticket # was 252220.

Airtel Broadband — Not giving the connection

Hi,

We requested for broad band connection. A guy came at our door took the documents, PAN card photo copy, house rental agreement and took three months bill in advance. He assured to get connection by 4-7 working days. He collected it 3 weeks back. After a week we didn't hear anything, then...I called him but he is not even picking the call.

AIRTEL BROADBAND SERVICE — CONNECTION NOT PROVIDED

I enrolled on 27th Sep 2010 for Airtel broadband connection throug Airtel Marketing Executive. My enrollment No. is 2405292. I given Rs 500 to executive. When document procedure completed, then one airtel technical team person came to my house to provide the connection & told me that as all ports are chocked, so he can't give me connection.
I discussed with there marketing manager Mr. Arvind Pal regarding there promise to provide connection in two days. He promised me to give him two more days to fix the issue.
After a week I call him up, he again ask for two more days. Then aften two days I called him he didn't pick my phone.
I called to customer care, but they also told that on my concern they are working.
Now after two weeks itself conncection is not provided & even no body tried to contact me.
I am feeling cheated with airtel by both money as well as time.

Airtel Broadband — Being cheated by AirTel executives

I am using AirTel Broadband since July 2009. My AirTel Land-line number is [protected] .I had a false image about AirTel that when its comes to customer services ,they are the best. But now I have realized their true color.

For the past more than one month,I am being tortured by AirTel like anything.I don't know who is going to pay for the losses caused by non-availability of internet at my premises due to false promises made by AirTel every-time.

This is how my story goes.....

02-April-2011:

· I raised a shifting request of my Broadband connection with a reference number #189019 to my new premises in the same locality.

· I was told that maximum time taken for shifting will be 6 days.

18-April-2011:

· I didn’t receive any call from anyone in this regard till this date.

· I lodged a complaint with a reference number: #45337284 to customers care.

· As promised by customer care, I got a call within 4 hours of complaint.

· I was told by the executive that in my area, junction box is full and hence I need to wait for 2 more weeks.

· I was not ready to wait more than 3 days due to some personal constraints.

· I got a reply that before two weeks, this is not possible at all.

· I raised a request for the cancellation with a reference number: # 592114 and was told that my request will be entertained in 7 working days.

20-April-2011:

· I got a call from an executive, and to my surprise he was asking me to wait for 1 month.

· I told him everything and also made it clear that it has become really impossible for me to wait even for a week.

· He told me, he cannot help me in this regard.

· I applied for a BSNL broadband connection.

· BSNL people surveyed my house and promised me to give the connection in 4 working days.

23-April-2011:

· I got a call from another AirTel executive; he paid a visit to my premises, fixed the cables and promised me to give the connection by 24-Mar-2011.

· I called to BSNL, and cancelled my request for the new connection.

24-April-2011:

· I didn’t get any call from anyone.

26-April-2011:

· I lodged a complaint with reference number: #45637500.

· I was shocked to know that, it is written in the record: “Customer is agreed to wait for one month”.

27-April-2011:

· I got a call from AirTel and was asked whether I have spoken to any executive regarding the waiting for one month. I told yes but I was not ready to wait even for 3 days then how can I be agree to wait for 1 month. After this, he said: “OK” sir and disconnected the call.

28-April-2011:

I got a call from AirTel saying that I will get my connection within one week.I told them clearly that I can not wait for even 2 days.

They requested me like anything for the same. I asked them to give an exact date before which I can get my connection.

They said,my connection will be given at any cost by 04-May-2011.

04-May-2011:

No one called me till date.

I can say only one thing now : Enough is Enough!!!!!!

I can't wait even for a day .. Going to get a Tata Photon +.

I request you to please CANCEL MY CONNCETION.
I have had raised 3 cancellation request in the past,and every time I got a reply that it will be entertained within 7 working dates.

This time,please no 7 days....Please I don't want anything....Just cancel my connection.

Airtel Broadband — Incorrect information provided by Airtel guy and now he is not responding

Hi Team,

We always had out broadband connection from airtel since almost 5 years and recently we moved house.
ON submitting request for house change, Vinay contacted me who said he works in Sec12 Airtel office - Faridabad.
Since he was good friend of one of my known person he visited me home and advised that shifting the plan might take month and if i want he can get me new connection on cheaper rate and fairly quickly.
I was obviously happy about it and he updated me that i will have to only pay 899 for my existing plan for which i was paying 999 up till previously.
So i got my number changed which had just once digit adjusted in landline number but he said in order to change the plan changed to 899 i will have to contact him after 2 days and when i called him 2 days later he has been disconnecting my call.
Obviously he got his sale for the day by giving me new number but i really don't understand that how can airtel hire such cheap guys who in order to achieve their sales projection make fools out of honest customer.
I want some actions to be taken against this guy for his actions and for this i have even mentioned his name and mobile number.

Airtel — Cheated executive and not getting connection

I have applied for Wi Fi Broad Band connection on 07/03/2012. I paid
650+100. That guy who come for collect the money get 100 extra, for address
proof. He promised me to give back the Lawyer signed address proof. But still

Question here is How do you retain the cheated fellow in your good brand name

I have applied for Airtel Broadband connection on 21.11.2012. The Airtel people promised me to arrange for the connection within a day, but until now its not connected. I have already paid for the connection in cash on 21.11.2012 to him with a receipt.

I have been contacting several persons regarding this issue, but they are not attending the call. When I contacted the Airtel Customer Care, they told me that the connection was not feasible in our area. Then how can you collect cash from me without checking the connection feasibility. The marketing executive Velan specifically said that there is connection nearby, now how can they take back the statement when i checked with customer care.

I am very UNHAPPY with your service and the way your airtel people respond to my service calls.

I would never choose or recommend any airtel service to any one, i feel very much CHEATED. I have been used by your executive to reach their monthly sales target, If there is no feasibility why should your executive give me false promise.

I would appreciate if you can address the same.

I am not sure if this is a fault of airtel or fault of representatives involved in this particular case. Inspite of this complaint, i am ready to take the connection even now. I have been using 3 other connections from Airtel and I am happy about airtel except the above mentioned complaint.
I have applied for Airtel Broadband connection on 06/06/13. The Airtel people promised me to arrange for the connection within a day, but until now its not connected. I have already paid for the connection in cash on 06/06/13 to him (His Mob# [protected]).

I have been contacting several persons regarding this issue to Mr. Gopi as a technician from the Airtel franchee ((His Mob# [protected])), but he is not giving any valuble reason why they are taking more time to serve. I would never choose or recommend any airtel service to any one, i feel very much cheated. I have been used by your executive to reach their monthly target. I request you to kindly look into this issue..

    I am narrating complaint made to M/s. Bharti Airtel Ltd; New Delhi

    Subject: Correction in bills for Mobile No:
    Customer Name: Mithun Agarwal
    Bill No: [protected]
    Bill Date: 21/11/07
    Period: 20-Oct-07 – 19-Nov-07

    In the bill detailed as above a sum of Rs.4081/- has been charged for Value Added Services. On enquiry it was informed that these charges are for SMS. I have not made any SMSes. The charges for SMSes are totally wrong. My bill history shows that monthly bill amount vary between Rs.500/- to Rs.600/-.

    I made several complaints to
    1. By sending SMS on 121
    2. Email at [protected]@ airtelindia.com
    3. Calling Airtel Customer Care 121 and [protected]
    every time I am told the matter is being looked into. I am unnecessarily being put to inconvenience of calling and writing to you. This careless attitude of Airtel amounts in deficiency in services.

    In your reply to above it seems that you have not scrutinized the matter and have sent a routine reply. In this connection I have to submit as under again :

    I note from your mail:
    That billing system of Airtel is full proof and there is no manual intervention.

    That the software captures the details of the SMS that subscriber make from mobile and generates the invoice.

    That after the invoice is generated, Airtel take stringent measures to ensure zero defects.

    That Airtel has checked and found that charges reflecting in your bill dated 21 November 2007 for SMS charges are valid.

    I do not agree with you that billing system of Airtel can not make mistakes due to following reasons:
    That billing system failed to detect that SMS are being sent at an interval of 2/3/4/… seconds. Is it possible for a human being to send a SMS every 3 seconds? I request you to provide the text of SMS.

    I observe that billing software of Airtel has failed to capture the correct details of the SMS. The SMS being sent every few seconds has been caused by malfunctioning of the software. The software has also failed to observe the unusual activity of recording SMS’s every few seconds. Airtel's system has also failed to detect that there are land line and non existing phones to whom SMS’s sent have been recorded. Please make proper arrangements to detect such malfunctioning of the software and over charging the subscribers.

    Airtel neither seem to have checked the invoice after its generation nor you have taken stringent measures to ensure zero defects. The details of measures taken may please be advised.

    That Airtel has checked and found that charges reflecting in your bill dated 21 November 2007 for SMS charges are valid. Please advise the name and designation of the person who has checked this invoice and syatem adopted to check this invoice. I do not think that a person applying the simple principle of common sense would agree with this invoice, where SMS sent are charged every few seconds. Airtel did not look into the details of SMS sent again and advise with their observations and findings.

    I feel that this episode need the widest publicity in the medias against such unprofessional, incompetent and irresponsible response by AIRTEL, their poor billing software and failure to detect unusual SMS's activity by their system.

    Every one have the rights to claim their service. in issuing the connection they give several promises to the people and never follows it.

    Airtel — poor service - irresponsible reply

    I am forced to send this complaint to you as the circumstances are created by Airtel Mobile services, a few things which has happened to me recently, in terms of customer service of airtel however few things have made me so upset.
    i have three mobile connection with Airtel for more than 30 months, since last 2 weeks i am not satisfied by their service, every month i have promptly paid my bills to airtel. in last three month they put up late fee to my bill, i have informed customer support every time they give assurance to me this mistake not rised in future and adjust the late fee in my account and told to me you not pay the late fee. but last month bill statement shows to pay the bill immediately. in last two weeks several times block the outgoing calls of my connections, when i informed to them and they release the out going call facility. again block the outgoing call facility in the next day, again and again i inform to them. on 9th of this month I showed my cheque for last month bill at Airtel centre Rootes, No.18, Old Bank Of Baroda Street, Ambattur and put it in the cheque drop box. from 10th onwards my sim of all three connections blocked. today morning i spoke to customer care, in response of my compliant my blocked connection is revoked. with in one hour of activation again my connections are blocked. i need proper explanation of their activities from responsible person or otherwise i decide to terminate my connection immediately.

    I am prepaid Airtel mobile user & my no. is [protected]. Airtel has just started a Friend chat service on my mobile on Trial basis and without any information to me. It never wanted any such type of service but they started without my consent.

    After 3-4 days they deducted a fee for this activation again without any information to me. I have never asked them to subscribe or continue this trial scheme on my mobile. Even on activation of this scheme on my mobile they didn't sent any confirmation message or SMS to me.

    When I asked to Customer Care center then the reps (Dharam, Muthuk and Manjeet) talked very rudely to me regarding their scheme and refused to refund the money. They even asked me that if I want then I can sue them in Consumer Court and they will do like this only.

    How could Airtel activate any scheme on Trial basis without my consent and without any information?
    How could Airtel subscribe any scheme on my mobile without sending any message to me?
    How could Airtel deduct any amount from my prepaid amount without any information to me?
    How could Airtel customer care reps (Dharam, Muthuk and Manjeet) talk to me like this ?

    Airtel is just Ridiculous. I just hate its Service. I will not recommend anybody else to have Airtel Service.

    BHARATI AIRTEL — IRRESPONSIBLE ATTITUDE OF BILLING DEPT

    Billing Deptt of Bharati Airtel in GHAZIABAD area is very bad.

    I cleared all my outstanding bills in the first week of JUNE,2011 and deposited Rs 907/- as advised, for keeping my LL phone in Safe custodcy for the TWO Months (June and July2011) as I was going abroad for this period.

    On my return I have been getting SMS from AD-airtelFL and phone calls from some unknown LL nos (not from 121) and some email ( from an strange e-mail ADDRESS)-with fake bill ,in my opinion.
    I did not get any paper-bill or e-bill from AIRTEL directly after May 2011.
    I am not FULLY SATISFIED with the response of the customer CARE representative who becomes available through 121, and has promised to look into the issue.
    I want to get FULL CALL DETAILS and the adjustment of my SAFE CUSTODY DEPOSIT of Rs 907/- .

    I am also victim of this fraud service "TIPSBYYUVRAJSINGH". I never opted or consented for this service. This seems to have been done by service provider AIRTEL on its own to loot unsuspecting customers.

      Airtel - Indore — Very poor customer service!

      hello. sir i purchase a new aitel sim but airtel sim is not activated after 48 hours plz sir my sim is activated fast. my mob no [protected].
      my clinet ID is 13250195

      A amount of Rs. 30 charged in my Nov'07 bill for hello tune service , regarding that I already told No to concern but even after that this service included & amount charged .

      Pl. discontinue this service with immediate effect.

        i use mobile office service..4m abt a yr..n i used 2 get fair service..but from ..last few weeks..i m facing prob..server is vvvvv down i m not able 2 get connected..n its taking lonnnnnnnng tym ..2 get connected..well ppl dont hav tht much of tym..tht thy will wait 4 an hr..
        n even though it gets connected..m not able to open any web page..
        plzzzz do take sum +tive action 2 improve it..after all we r paying 4 this service...
        costumer care is also not helping us much..as i m complaining regarding this prob 4m almost 5 days..

        though my problem is not exactly like yours, i agree to your situation.i have been using mobile office for 5 months and this time it has not been activated even after getting the recharge done.3 days have passed and the customer care says they dont have any record of this 498 recharge neither is the dealer willing to recharge it again.i received confirmation message after recharge and now they say it has not been recharged.i'm tired and frustrated and cant do my important work.instead i'm running from dfealer to airtel office but to no avail.
        i could't connect to customer care of airtel...i am a airtel kolkata prepade customer...it's happened pevious 2 months...
        yesterday A unknown person message me my personal details .. I have those message right now in my mobile..If you contact further and want to take action then please message me on [protected]@yahoo.co.in then I will proceed further.Will Airtel stop this nonsence ?

        On 21/01/09 morning I have got the network connect & facilitated all the program . But one day later that means 22/01/09 my neat work is not available/disconnected without any resign .

        I have been contacting Airtel Helpline 4444 4555 during the last two days for getting land connection. Everytime they are telling that you would be connected within 24 hours. But till now I am yet to get any response. Should I shift to Vodafone for new land connection. I have been an user of Airtel connection during the last seven years.

        A mobile tower of Airtel had been installed in my building at salt lake sector 2 of which I am a co-owner. the initial contact was for 3 years. However, the Airtel does not appear to have renewed the same and is paying the rent at old rate. The secretary of the Building Association had dealt the matter after taking our consent but now there is no transparency in the entire deal.         I have a SIM card of Kolkata and No [protected] and I was using that while I was in Kolkata up to Dec. 2010. Now, for my work I came to Kolkata from Dec.2010 and I will be here up to Oct.2011. While, I am in Pune Maharastra, I have a fresh SIM card of Maharastra and I kept that Kolkata card alive by recharging the same with Rs.100/- about three months ago. I used that no once or twice in month for 30 sec to one mint. To keep it active and alive. I had about Rs.80/- in the first week of May 2011. On 1st June, 2011, when I wanted to used the make it active/alive. I found Zero Balance and expiry date mentioned 11th May 2011. I was surprised to see that and gone to many Airtel mobile shop Gallery to enquire about what happen to my above SIM no.
        I had been told to contact the customer care center of Kolkata and lodge a complaint and write to them. They will give the answer. Hence, I started calling the No [protected] and automatic teletalking machine asked to dial 1/2/1 etc and I did. Finally they asked to dial the password which was not known or told me and I hanged the telephone. In the meantime, today afternoon I got one MSG that recharge Rs 160/- and get TT of Rs.160/-. I am confused. What to do? PLEASE HELP.

        Now please help me the ways of keeping/retaining the no up to Oct.2011. And after that I will be using that no in Kolkata.

MY MOTHER HAD SUBSCRIBED A AIRTEL PREPAID CONNECTION ( NO [protected]) IN YR 2006 FROM MANJU TRADERS, CHAKDAHA, NADIA (WB-741222) AS LIFE TIME AGREEMENT FOR RS 999/-, SUBMITTING ALL VALID DOCUMENTS I.E. VOTER ID, RATION CARD ETC. THIS MOBILE CONNECTION HAS BEEN THE ONLY WAY FOR HER TO COMMUNICATE WITH HER TWO SONS, WHO WERE POSTED IN J & K AND RAJASTHAN. ALL RELATIVES WERE ALSO CONNECTED ON THIS MOBILE NUMBER.

        3. AFTER FIVE YEARS O[censored]SAGE OF THIS MOBILE CONNECTION, THE SERVICE PROVIDER (AIRTEL BENGAL AREA) HAS BLOCKED THE SIM CARD IN FIRST WEEK OF MAY 2011 WITHOUT ANY KNOWN REASON. THE NUMBER WAS LATEST RECHARGED ON 27-28 APR 2011 WITH RS 50/-. THEREAFTER, AFTER BLOCKAGE OF SIM CARD, FOR SEVEN DAYS MY MOTHER COULD NOT UNDERSTAND THE PROBLEM WITH THE CONNECTION. SHE COULD NOT CONNECT ANY ONE AS ALL INCOMING AND OUTGOING CALLS WERE STOPPED. BEING WORRIED, SHE VISITED RETAILERS FOR THE NEEDFUL. SHE AGAIN SUBMITTED THE ALL SUPPORTING DOCUMENTS TO A RETAILER FOR RE-INSTATEMENT OF THE CONNECTION. SHE WAS CONTINUED TO BE HARASSED BY VISITING RETAILER SHOPS IN THE HOT SUMMER DAYS AGAIN AND AGAIN. WE, THE TWO BROTHERS, SERVING IN THE ARMY AND POSTED IN OTHER STATES, COULD NOT DIRECTLY COMMUNICATE MY MOTHER FOR ONE AND HALF MONTHS. WE TRIED TO CALL ON THAT MOBILE NUMBER (I.E. [protected]) AGAIN AND AGAIN, HOPING THAT THE SERVICE WOULD HAVE BEEN RE-INSTATED. BUT IN MID MAY 2011, WE HAVE COME TO KNOW THAT THE NUMBER HAS BEEN ALLOTTED TO ANOTHER PERSON BY THE AIRTEL.

        4. THIS ACT OF EXTREME SMARTNESS OF THE AIRTEL HAS BREECHED OUR TRUST BESTOWED ON THEM. NOW, I, ON BEHALF OF MY AGED & WIDOWED MOTHER SOLICIT THE HONOURABLE COURT TO INVESTIGATE ON THE CASE AND INITIATE NECESSARY ADMINISTRATIVE ACTION AGAINST THE SMART & RICH AIRTEL COMPANY TO COMPENSATE THE COST INVOLVED AND HARASSMENT CAUSED TO MY MOTHER.
        For the last 3 days a VAS Service( mobile box office) is automatically activated in my mobile no([protected]) .Instead of repeatedly calling to customer care for deactivation and getting assurance from them no more charge will be deduted but the service is automatically activate in the morning and the charge is deducted regularly. Kindly do the needful such that the problem may be solved parmanently

          Airtel is now making lot of money by making you people fool. The best way is to throw off airtel and choose another service provider as number portablity is available and so you can retain your number.

          Lets get together and give them a big buisness loss then only they will understand. Ask your friends also to throw airtel connection and go for another service provider.

                The Airtel (Dehradun) Ottrakhand called me over phone to hand over the cheque of post paid bill of Rs 745 for the previos month through their Representaive who was visiting my Office on 31Jan,2008.The Representative named Munish collected the Cheque in person .Afer a lapse of 15 days again a call from the Airtel cenre came that we are retiving the Cheque as misplaced ,kindly give one more cheque towards the payment of Rs745/-they did not even bothered to locate the same but asked me to come with the bank statements .If my cheque has been misplaced then why should I send the statements for the fault of Airtel. This has happended for many times.

                I have taken an add on card.
                They charged me clip charges
                charged rent after cancelling the #
                when i went to cancel the add on card, they said the o/s amount is 1491 and i paid, later they took the money from my credit card also. now they are not responding my complaints. if we pay late, they charge late charges. if they collect 2 times, are they going to pay us something like that?????

                      Am Yeshwanth staying in Tumkur and using Airtel Connection ([protected]) from more than 1yr. On monday (17th May 2010) i have recharged for Rs.98 to use GPRS for free. I didnt knew anything about MOBILE OFFICE and in the messages which i got from Airtel also there was no instruction on the same. After using for 2 days Rs.194 has been deducted from my account. When i called your customer care noone is responding for my call properly. I used GPRS through Airtel Live without proper information.

                          I have purchased this mobile for KBC –3 and enjoyed the programme continuously up to 52 episodes and also seen your Airtel Advertise & the famous Airtel tune in between the programme I have no. of relatives and friends of Airtel connection. I am enjoying Airtel to Airtel free talktime since from 1 year.

                          I recharge my handset on12/2/2008 with 265 Rs talktime for other calls. But from 13/2/08 my mobile is showing 0 talktime for Airtel to Airtel before completing 2 years and you have deducted from my other balance without informing anything .

                          Why this has happened ?What went wrong?

                          My Mrs Archana Honrao visited Aanand shoppee & launched a complaint regarding this kind of cheating.The owner told her to go to vega centre near swargate.

                          Then she has visited to Airtel office in vega centre in pune and launched a complaint . The lady told her that you would have been removed the SIM card & tried in another handset .This is handset migration problem according to your system software.Is it True or cheating?

                          The handset is always in our home & nobody would try to remove the SIM .

                          Mrs Archana Honrao has her own handset of no [protected].I also have another handset of no [protected].

                          I would have removed the SIM in somewhere around march-07 & tried in another handset,but then i know that the scheme SIM card wont work in any other handset.

                          That was an old story.After that you have not deducted my A to A free talktime .

                          So please again give me my balance A to A free talktime upto the desired period.

                          Your office staff lady told to my Mrs that it would require another 15 days to find out why your A to A talktime has been cancelled .

                          I request you to please do the needful as earliest.

                          Is it possible to switchoff my mobile for 15 days ?can i tell this to at least 1000 peoples /

                              every time their representative say u will get service in hour / 4 hour/ 72 hour deference answer every time though i cannot used service of mobile office but my rental was cut every day till today
                              i inform to airtel that there was problem in my nearest tower of gondal road industry tower when i go to range of other tower of hasanwadi or shakar road i able to used the service but till today nobody can solve my problem
                              please do need full for me. as soon as possible.

                              AirTel — About gprs Mo.

                              My mobile No. is [protected] . I activate the gprs mobile office service on 21st Dec. and deactivate it on 22nd dec. Even i get a deactivation message but still they are charging me 15 Rs.daily. I given a lot of complians about it but not getting any satisfactory respond from them.
                              i use mobile office service..4m abt a yr..n i used 2 get fair service..but from ..last few weeks..i m facing prob..server is vvvvv down i m not able 2 get connected..n its taking lonnnnnnnng tym ..2 get connected..well ppl dont hav tht much of tym..tht thy will wait 4 an hr..
                              n even though it gets connected..m not able to open any web page..

                                Airtel Data card was purchased on June 30, 2007. Since, then there are issues with it. Company has accepted the network issue at first but have not given any time frame to resolve it. IT has been 7 months now. Neither they are refunding back Rs 5000 for the data card. After informing about the consumer complaint still no action has been taken. After a month of the purchase of the data card, they said they can manage it to resale it to someone and will fetch only Rs 2500. Without using the data card, they have halfed the price. Then, they ask me to the pay bill also without use. Then, I receive collection calls. They are not calling for any resolution but for collecting the money only. They have tried all troubleshooting and are saying that the issue is a network issue. No relief only harrasement.

                                  My mobile no.is [protected] (airtel). i have purchesed it last week(10 feb 2008).there after i tried to activate the NOP(net on phone service)

                                  i consern the customer care at 121 for modes to activate NOP. as per their instruction i tried to connect to activate the service.But due to inappropriate(wrong) information provided i was unable to activate. i concern the customer care again and again but non of the customer exectives gave me appropriate way to connect.

                                  the worst part is , one cannot connect to customer care for more the 3 times in a day .after few days my balance started reducing varaiable.
                                  first it reduce by 8 Rs then directly 15 Rs then 5 rupees

                                  when i tryed to figure out what went wrong at service center the responsible person started giving me faque answers.

                                  till date i havent received any conformation message from airtel regarding activation of NOP.as per my knowledge one receives a configuration message first time and a conformation message of activation and a symbol 'G' is displayed on mobile screen. not even a single seniarios was seen on my mobile

                                  but the responsible person tell me that i have used the NOP.But my main question was the charges of NOP are Rs 5/- per day how come my balence reduced by 8 then 15 and then by 5 Rs

                                  The boundries were crossed when i was asked by that person to send a sms(NOPDEACT) to Toll free no 511 . and it cost me Rs 3/- when i ask him regarding this he answers me that it the useage charge.being a toll free no . i have been charge so there is a error in airtel's system.but no one is helping me. till date i have lost round about 36 Rs. who is going to compainset my loss.

                                  i dont know who should be held responsible.

                                    This is with regards to the mail mentioned below and the my harrasement at the hands of Airtel. I've asked Airtel to stop my connections since day 1 of taking them but I'm still receiving bills and phone calls on my home number for payment of the same. They never speak to me directly even though they have my Vodafone number but to people at my home.

                                    I've never activated the number, I've not even taken the sim card out of the envelope but I'm still getting bills. The number on the bill is [protected]. They never did my verification at the time of taking the sim card. They met my dad and said they would be back to verify me, but they never did.

                                    I've spoken to 3 executives, including a senior named Anil and he had promised me that the connection would be cancelled. I'm not paying for a service that I've never used from day one. Below is the mail I'd sent to them and to some newspapers. But till date no relief.

                                    This is with regards to terrible customer service that I have been the victim of at the hand of Airtel customer service. I've been the customer of Vodafone for the past couple of years and was thinking of changing over to Airtel after being led on by a couple of Airtel marketeers.

                                    On Sunday 25th, I was approached by two individuals from Appco Marketing (who claim to the sole marketeers for Airtel) who were selling Airtel connections. After much ado, I took two connections from them, one was a triple 3 connection and the other was a Hotline plan. The Hotline number was a free number to which I could make or receive free calls from my primary Airtel number. Sort of like a family number. I have a similar setup with Vodafone with a key difference being that I could make calls to the Hotline number even if I was in Goa (as claimed by the people from Appco). I decided to take the connections and paid two cheques of 599 each as refundable deposit.

                                    However, I was not convinced about the free calling from Goa and so I checked out the Airtel website. However, I found no information about the Hotline number. I called on call center number and when I went through the options, I got a "This number doesn't exist" message. I tried various combinations of options and finally got a customer service rep called "Kiran". He told me to call up another dept. I told him that I had tried and couldn't get through and that I just need the above mentioned clarification. He told me that I would be charged for calling on the Hotline number as per std rates! I was shocked but before I could react I was disconnected. I called up again and I was disconnected immediately after being answered. This happened twice before I actually had to beg the rep to let me remain online. I had recognized the voice and it was Kiran each time. Apparently he seemed the only person taking calls that evening.

                                    This time I asked him to put his superior online. In quite a menacing voice he said that his TL would say the same thing. Finally completely frustrated, I told him that I will cancel the service immediately, he actually had the audacity to tell me to "go ahead and cancel them"!

                                    I've already spoken to the people at Appco and I've told that I've "stopped cheque" the cheques I have given them and told them to take back the sim cards. The person at Appco, Yogita had the audacity to tell me that one customer will not affect their business. They should learn a lesson from Vodafone who were literally begging me to stay after I called them up and told them that I was switching to Airtel.

                                    I am very upset and frustrated with the customer service at Airtel. I've worked at a call center too some years ago and I've never heard of such rudeness. I'm only sending this mail so that others can be warned of what might happen.

                                    On 24.02.2008 at 19:39 - I got a sms from AIRTEL
                                    "maza lein sare STD calls ka India mein kahi bhi @Re1 mein Sirf Rs31 recharge pe. TariffValidity:30 Days. Scheme ka fayada apko 48 ghanto mein diya jayega."

                                    Yesterday I have called Airtel Care & confirm bout the sms, they replied YES it will only Re1 per minute and then I have recharged by Rs31.

                                    Today I have called a local mobile and they have charged me Re1 per minute, I got confused and called Airtel Care that why the local calls are also be charged the same rate, when my local tariff is 50 paise per minute. They replied me that now every call will be @Re1 only for 30 days, your old tariff has been cancelled and after 30 days your local will be Re1 only and the STD as per the Rate of Rs2.80 per minute.

                                    I argued that this is bad, you are hiding each and every thing in your pro- offers, he replie that they are doing like this only and told me that there will be a limited space for characters and sms will be like this only. I become fool, isnt it. Airtel peoples are cheating like this in every pro - offers.

                                    AT THE SAME TIME THE STAFF PRESENT THERE WAS SO RUDE AND UN- PROFESSIONAL WHO WERE ACTUALLY BUSY IN DOING THERE OWN GOSSIPS RATHER THEN HELPING OUT THE CUSTOMERS .

                                    DUE TO DIWALI THE RELIANCE OFFICE WAS CLOSED FOR 4 DAYS AND THERE WAS NO ONE IN THE OFFICE TO DO THE FORMALITIES. I THEN I SPOKE TO FEW OF THE SENIOR OFFICIALS LOOKING AFTER THE CUG CONNECTIONS IN AIRTEL AND RATHER THAN HELPING ME THEY KEEP ON PLAYING FOOL OF ME AND AT LAST THE AIRTEL CONNECT AT GANPATI PLAZA WAS CLOSED FOR ANOTHER 3-4 DAYS (DIWALI Vacations).                                     i have been using airtel for over 3 years and lately i have been getting messages that a particular hello tune has been set for my number without me even subscribing to it. nothing worked when i tried to deactivate the service, so i had to use the service, paying however much they charge per minute and then again pay Rs 15 for the rest of the month just so that i could change whatever stupid song i was forced to keep from their side. the customer care number doesn't always work and they aren't very helpful either. My request to airtel would be to kindly stop activating services consumers don't choose themselves.

My question is when I am staying in out of coverage area of Airtel, in this regard, i already informed to airtel staff when they ask for any compalint of coverage.. So why you can not send me sms .
                                    For payment purpose you can send sms but why not for information you can not send sms?????????????????????????????/

                                    i ayush got recharged my sim(no-[protected]) by a Rs98 e-top on 11/03/2010.it worked properly till 17/03/2010 but after that it was not being connected to net after 17/03/2010.i then made a call to costumer care and got it known to your person who recieved my call.he said, he's sending a complaint no to my sim and asked to keep it safe but i waited leaving all my work and got spent my a lot of time in your nonresponsing costumer care.he didn't send any complaint no or anything else.this wasted a lot of my time and brougt me a lot of harrasment.now i am going to file a suit against airtel in the consumer court in case of nonresponsing act and cheating.

                                    AirTel — High Tariff and Robbery of GPRS charges

                                    I activated the Blackberry prosumer 249 plan on my Blackberry handset. Doom's day started then. After a month's usage, I am given a bill for 6000+ rupees. When I questioned about my usage, no one in Airtel has a clue of the site which I browsed and how charges some of which are as high 1700 for a single web page is possible. I was willing to pay after the right level of clarification is provided, but there's no one apart from the nodal officer who can provide this clarification. I am now being harassed by their collections agency to pay the bill without getting my billing dispute resolved amicably.

                                    I am prepaid Airtel mobile user & my no. is [protected]. Airtel has just started a Friend chat service on my mobile on Trial basis and without any information to me. It never wanted any such type of service but they started without my consent.

                                    After 3-4 days they deducted a fee for this activation again without any information to me. I have never asked them to subscribe or continue this trial scheme on my mobile. Even on activation of this scheme on my mobile they didn't sent any confirmation message or SMS to me.

                                    When I asked to Customer Care center then the reps (Dharam, Muthuk and Manjeet) talked very rudely to me regarding their scheme and refused to refund the money. They even asked me that if I want then I can sue them in Consumer Court and they will do like this.

                                    How could Airtel activate any scheme on Trial basis without my consent and without any information?
                                    How could Airtel subscribe any scheme on my mobile without sending any message to me?
                                    How could Airtel deduct any amount from my prepaid amount without any information to me?
                                    How could Airtel customer care reps (Dharam, Muthuk and Manjeet) talk to me like this ?

                                    Airtel is just Ridiculous. I just its Service. I will not going to recommend anybody else to have Airtel Service.

                                      I have bought one airtel post paid connection from yr dealer
                                      S2S IT SOLUTIONS PVT. LTD. Mumbai, and I also give them 600 rupee for basic amount for opening my a/c.

                                      I am using airtle pre paid card from last 4 year
                                      My current cell no is +91-[protected]!

                                      I made a request to convert my pre paid card into post paid card (same no i want) yr dealer said there is no problem in giving me same no.

                                      Its all matter happened 20 days before and I am still not get the post paid card. (No they promises to give me is +91-[protected])

                                      and OGB[protected]. In this above said orders Ihave ordered No Philiips DVD of Tavar Speakers and in another order it is ordered for KODAK 12 Mega pics . But iam sorry to inform you that I have reced the DVD of Normal speakers and camera of 10 pics. This i have already returned to you and incurred Courrier charges of Rs 1000/. And the amount for the items has been debited to my account for this i have enclosed the statement herewith. But till date the amount has not been credited to my account. So hereby i am informing you to settle the transction within 7 days of the receipit of this mail. If you fail to do so I have no other alternative to go CONSUMER COURT.
