Hi,
This is Amit Yerunkar staying in Mumbai. I purchased the Mobile Prepaid card of the "Airtel Everywhere" lifetime sevice pack on the 11th of November in the Erla, from Classic Comunication shop (Vile Parle, West) Of Rs. 999 with new sim card of Rs. 100 of no.[protected] for mobile no. [protected] by submitting all the eligible documents for varification in the name of the my father on 12 November. There is only Rs. 10 talk time for first time so, I was made recharge of 100 Rs. at the same time in the same shop.
The person named Mahesh a operator who made activation from that shop was told me that check the balance the amount on 123 and my card will activate with in 5 min. But now todays are gone no activation done by AIRTEL till. Whenever i tried to make SMS or call from mobile only one message is given by Airtel that my service is not active and please call on [protected] for activation of card. I tried so many times to call and take help of AIRTEL Consumercare No. But not any good respond from them, just ringing phone. And the person "Mahesh" is also not giving good responce to me about my complaint.
I think AIRTEL not having staff to care the consumer's requiredments, there are only want to make fool to people using famous celebraties for their service, and capture market of telecom. They have very poor, sory not poor worst service provider in World.
If i was know that they have such bad service to cosumer i was appraoch to other service provider. Now I am looking for AIRTEL GALARIES for consumer care service, if any one know about the Service Provider near Andheri , please give me address so I can go overthere and enquire about it.
In short I want to blame AIRTEL but, approch have to make friendly towards consumer and give them proper guidance, i[censored] can't it's very shy to say to me
"Your company that you can't do good public relation with normal consumer, You change slogan to Expoide Yourself instade of Express Yourself. ".

i[censored] r using airtel my friend then be ready to face these type of problems, because after ur balance is been deducted then i[censored]r calling customer care 100 times then also u r problem is not going to be solved. The standard answer u will get is u r problem will be solved within 48 hrs. and forget abt u r balance dont waste u r more energy and time in debating with the cust care executives bcoz they are used to it and pls do not abuse them r they can activate any service from their system without ur consent for which more bal will be deducted .The best way of getting rid of this is take the benefit of no. portability and change ur operator service.Because using AIRTEL is a crime.I would like to suggest airtel instead of increasing and fighting for spectrum pls pay attention to ur customer services first
Airtel is doing fraud. They discountinued the service of my prepaid monile which had a balance of Rs.900 and forfeited the money. Don't go for Airtel connection, they are fraud. They will give you sim very easily and after few days, will steal your balance money

    Hi This is Balamurugan. I am Working in a Software Company.
    In my Home town air tel Network is very Worst.It means that they giving the small bandwidth to the network. So if the mobile is in inside the Home the mobile did notr receive the signals due to the low bandwidth. Many of the peoples were switched to another network like Aircel,Bsnl etc. If the same problem continues rest of the airtel Prepaid customers also will switch over another Network. Please Take a action to that Problem . The below address is in the Airtel Network.

      I am unable to get my international roaming details which i have used. I have just used it for couple of minutes. The charges which they are mentioned is not realistic. None of the customer care executives helping. You can see the following mail conversation. they have given me irrelavant answers. All of a sudden they have stopped responding

      This is not the answer to my queries every time you are repeating the same
      answers. You can just compare the two emails which have been sent to me
      it's almost the same. My question here is The Duration/Volume which you
      have mentioned in international roaming bill is too high where in I have
      just logged in to check the mail and I have not downloaded any thing.

      I am repeatedly asking the same question that Duration/volume is calculated
      on what basis???? Once again I sincerely requesting you to not to suggest
      me to look into your lousy web link, I am facing the same problem (SERVER
      ERROR). I feel, to make your customer aware about the tariff is your part
      of responsibility so please help me I don't have time waste on these issue.
      Please note that this is company paid connection and hence they are now
      asking for clarification. Until then my company is not making any payment.
      If at all payment is done which will be deducted from my account, which I
      am not going to entertain. Either you give me the clarification, or give me
      the realistic bill, I hope there is lot of discrepancy in the bill you are
      not helping the customer, other way it is just fleecing a customer. I think
      in our company we have more than 100 Airtel connections. Keeping these

      REcently airtel has installed a tower and generator in Nobo Nagar, Bannerghatta Road, Meenakshi Temple, Bangalore and the generator has put the surrounding neighbours into lot of inconvenience since generator comes on as and when power goes off and creates too much of noise. We have complained to Hulimaavu Police, DCP, Koramangala, Airtel authorities, Pollution Control Board, BBMP and also an article has been published in Bangalore Mirror. But Airtel authorities are defending stating that they have taken required approvals from Government and the noise pollution is within the limits. How can Govt. give permission without checking the same with the neighbours. Our main concern is to remove the generator and make a peaceful living. Can someone take this up seriously and help us in getting the generator removed and allow us to live peacefully. Power problem is too much in our area and this generator therefore is on most of the time emitting noise. There are elders and retired officials staying in the colony and kids are not in a position to concentrate on their studies, we are unable to even sleep in the house since this generator comes on even at midnight sometimes. Please help in taking this forward to concerned officials and help in getting the generator removed and allow us to have a peaceful living. Please Help
      I got Rs.4000 excess of my normal bill. I subscribed to Rs.400/- 100MB download limit. Due to billing problem Airtel metered a download 380 MB in 10 minutes using GPRS. This is impossible with speed limitation with GPRS. But AirTel technical support is nuts, they say "Sir, if your bill shows you downloaded so much, it must be possible".
      Two months I called customer care. Then sent ultimatum to file case in consumer court. Couriered a letter with all issues to Sunil Bharti Mittal. Then I get response from local (Bangalore) about the corrections and they waiving the incorrect amount.
      same thing has happend in chennai also,for my friends.

      Govt — Airtel Prepaid No signal customer care total waste

      i have tried to contact the airtel customer care for some days regarding the dreadful signal of this mobile service, but I am not able to do so even though I would have tried about 20 to 30 times to this number 198/121 but in vain. I request that any useful/company oriented if by any chance comes across this complaint should do something about the customer care service. My mobile No.[protected]

      Airtel Prepaid — customer care total waste

      The Airtel Prepaid mobile Customer Care Service is a total waste. Because I am not able to receive proper signal eventhough I my next door to the Airtel Tower. i have tried the Customer Service Care calling Nos.198/121 many times but it was a total waste. I request that some responsible officer if who happens to come across this complaint may take up the matter with the appropriate officials to set right this complaint regarding the customer care service as well the poor signal.

      this is sarita from bangalore. from past 2 months (august 2008 onwards) i'm facing network coverage problem in my area.

      i had given complain to customer care 7-8 times and all i got is just promises, timings and dates (i.e. withing 24/48 hours) or withing 3 days or till...date... finally after one month i contacted the head office - noida, they said it'll take one weeks to resolve the prob. now i has been 3 weeks ( 11th oct) and inbetween i again gave complaint to customer care. and till now NO IMPROVEMENT... NOTHING...NONE CONTACTED ME REGARGING MY PRBLEM.

      so better DON'T USE AIRTEL... WORST SERVICE PROVIDER...

But still this problem is continuing from last one week. Do take necessary severe action in doing such things otherwise block that sim.

      I am using Airtel prepaid [protected] from 4 years on that time network coverage was very good i have roamed entire karnataka there is no problem about network or signal, but after 2007 i am facing network coverage problem continously. Especially in Mysore Road i am residing in Bapujinagar near Big Bazaar mysore road, very poblem of network coverage. Evening after 6pm i am not able to make outing calls as well as i can't recieve incoming calls, i have called to customer care and complained these problems several times but there is no response. So i request you people to solve those problems and try to provide good network coverage paricularly in Bangalore.

Mr. Edwin[protected] of your Executive visited my place and checked the connection, he said within seven days you will get a connection. On 8th Day Mr. Edwin, said to give a call to Mr. Guna[protected], When I given a call to Mr. Guna, (Four to Five Times I had given a call to Him), he said I am on Field you can contact Mr. Ravi. Finally I spoken to Mr. Ravi[protected], he said I will check the status and I will confirm you evening, Evening his given a call and said we cannot provide the connection due to DP Problem we will refund the amount he said. Day by day I am Giving call to Mr. Ravi Not responding, either you will give amount or not. At least tell the status.

      Keep on calling your Executive for getting my money. Your Airtel Executive not at all picking the calls, This is what your providing service & satisfaction to customer?

      Kindly take necessary steps for the same. At least you tell me whether you can pay the amount or not, so that I can reduce my phone bills instead of calling your executives.

Pls. note that on 24th November, 2009 evening before recharging Turbo plan I have spoke to your Customer Care Executive Ms. shruthi (Reference number [protected]). about full talk time benefit for turbo plan she told that it is applicable but after recharge Rs 98 I was unable to recharge full talk time and again i have contacted to your another Customer Care Executive Mr. Prashanth and he also replied due to technical problem you are unable to recharge and informed to wait from another 10 min and recharge again but till now there is no solutions of my problem.

      And again i have contacted to your another Customer Care Executive and was told to wait for 48hr.

      On 26th November, 2009, I am very dissatisfied with your Customer Care Care Executive Mr Sunil, (Floor supervisor)he behave very bad to me and give me dissatisfied answer after talking of 45 minutes. I am very fed with you service…!

      On 27th November, 2009, I have contacted another Floor supervisor Mr. Melwin and told me to wait for another 24hrs and asured me to reslove ASAP

      On 27th November, 2009, I have contacted another Floor supervisor Mr. Prashanth and told me to wait for another 24hrs.

      On 30th November, 2009, I have contacted another Floor supervisor Mr. Bharth and told me that we was unable to resolve this issue and blamed me that I have spoke to shruthi after reaching Rs 98

      Being a Customer of airtel for almost four years, i want to express my strong dissatisfaction with the airtel services and their executives in Karnataka.

      I am a airtel customer for the past 4 years(2 years from maharashtra, now in Karnataka).
      i have two connections against my name one is [protected] and the other no is[protected].
      on 22nd of september 2009 i went to an airtel outlet and given a request to keep the no. [protected] under safe custody for 3 months. after 2 months i got a bill which states that i must pay a sum of 671.00 rupees.I got shocked and called the customer care services 121 to enquire about this, they told me that my no is no more active and because of the default amont they have disconnected the number, when I told them that i have given a request to keep this number under safe custody, they told that never happenned, and also asked me whether i have any proof for requesting to keep this number under safe custody. when i told them yes they also asked me to visit the airtel outlet where i have given t he request for the safe custody.

      I went to the airtel outlet as suggested by the executives. in the airtel outlet the executives told me that by mistake this number was never put under safecustody and they will try to solve this issue ASAp.

      I waited for couple of days for the problem to solve, but i never heard back from any of the responsible airtel executives stating that this problem is solved or under process.

      As a dejected man i started calling the 121 services for enquiring them regarding the status of this issue.
      surprisingly i started hearing many different stories from each of them. they were not ready to go thru the case history and gave me the proper [censored]ion or answer.even i spoke to the senior peoples also. everybody was asked me sorry for the inconvenience. also they told me they will need 24 hours or 42 hours to solve this issue.also they told me this mistake will never happen. they will make sure that i will be getting proper services from airtel.

      being heard it from the senior peoples, i was hoping to get this problem solved.but the problem never solved.i started again calling 121 service. then they told me that i have to go to airtel outlet and get a new sim card, to reactive the services within 24 hours.

      I was hoping atleast this time i will get my problem solved, and i went to the airtel outlet and collected the new sim card.
      after getting the new sim card this is the third day still i am making calls to the executives to solve this issue.

      In all these days i strongly observed that these (almost every body starting from beginning level, floor supervisor, their seniors, even the nodal officers)executives are not ready to take the initiative or responsibility to make the customer satisfy. every body asking for 24 hours or 42 hours to talk to the concern team. but nobody is following up whether the problem solved or not? just they want to move the task from their plate. nothing else.

      some of the executives are not even good enough to handle a customer they even blaming me for their mistakes.they used to drop the call when i ask some explanation.I almost escalated about couple of them to their senior executives.i dont know whether they are doing some corrective action or not.

      in between some body named swetha called me from airtel legal and they wanted me to pay the pending bill amount(for the one which i have been told that they already passed the waiver.)

      I am totlaly dis honoured by this kind o issues and their negligence. i never come across this kind of humiliation with any service provider i swear this should not happen to any of the customer who is paying the money to get the proper service.if it is possible please have a look at the database the no of calls which i made to airtel for the past 15 days to solve this issue.

      I higly request you to look into these issues and make the customers life cool, so as to make the airtel reputancy UP.

      Hi, I am Rajanna B, took airtel connection about six year ago with mobile number [protected]. Since then I have been using about 500-700 rupees per month as a prepaid customer. Nowadays other mobile service providers viz IDEA, MTS, UNINOR etc are providing very much cheap rates per call. Hence I had decided to PORT my mobile from Airtel. When I sent the PORT message to 1900, next day one person by name Santhosh from Airtel gave a call and offered like 33 hrs Airtel to Airtel calls and 7 hrs Airtel to other calls free for of rupees 199 every month. So I convinced very much and I cancelled PORT by sending CNCL to 222. But after lapse of 5 days nothing took place about his promise. After I had called up Customer care and lodged a complaint with reference number CMBNR [protected] even since then nothing has happened towards my complaint. Hence I request you to solve my problem otherwisy I will go to other Service provider with the existing number.

      Airtel in bangalore has no doubt good network but their customer service is pathetic, you people take 50 paisa on each call that we need to call 121 and upon that its not our mistake, its some goof everytime that airtel does every time and we call them and pay 50 paisa to talk to them and they literaaly hangup the [censored] call ateast 5 times and then pick up the call (that makes 2.50 paisa and say that we have registered your complaint and some one will get back to you and absolutely no , [censored] has come back to me... never ever... freaking f airtel service.

        Hi dear
        I have an Airtel postpaid conn. Having mobile no [protected].
        On 24th nov at 2330hrs I have recd some mesg that “your caller tunes has been activated on you phone” and after few mnts again I have recd 5-6 mesg that “this and this caller tune has been downloaded on your phone”.
        I had never liked these caller tunes. At the same time I had called customer care and got disconnected my caller tunes and he make me sure that no charges will be added in my bill regarding this problem.
        But when I recd my bill an amount of Rs.308 has been included in the bill regarding the same.
        This same problem happens with me 2-3 days ago again in the Dec month also.

        So plz revert those charges, which is of no use to me b’coz I don’t want to pay Rs.308 every month. Otherwise I will not pay the bill and change my no.

        Since 2 days, im unable to send or recieve sms. i tried callin to customer care but im not getting any response and now its not atall getting connected.
        plz sort out this problem.

        i got call from seema-airtel([protected]), she asked me if m interested in post-paid connection, iam using pre-paid service with the same number([protected]) from 3yrs, it's disgusting to say that even after providing the valid documents for verification these people dont activate, now both my pre-paid and post-paid services are de-activated, i haven't had any benefits or offers from AIRTEL for using the same number for more than 3 yrs, nor i have craved for it, these people dont respond properly the customer service person([protected]) says that my post-paid sim is activated in his system, but to my eyes it shows 'INACTIVE SIM" if i use pre-paid sim or post-paid sim, please re-activate my pre-paid if AIRTEL cannot activate post-paid i would be more happy...thanks...sumesh

          Why Airtel is charging such exorbitant charges for gprs services @ Rs. 14.99 per day, when the downloading speed is so slow, I think they should charge only @ Rs. 7.00 per day.

          Im living in Pune. Im using GPRS from long time and was getting good speed. but from last 1.5 months the speed is really sucking. It gets disconnected winthin 5 mins. Whats goin on?
          I have been using the Airtel Live since a long time but on 01 Jan 2008 there was a deduction of Rs. 99 from my balance. When I called up to the customer care the executive said that it will take 24 hrs for updation. After 72 hrs when I tried to know the reason the executive said that the deduction was for using "Hungam.com", but as I haven't use any such site on my cell. Instead of solving my query the executive talked to me so rudly and my problem is still as it is. Its was really such a bad experience. I lost my money without any reason and still the Airtel is not trying to solve my problem.

But no one turned back. Every time i call them they say that someone will call me back but I don't think they will do it. Its really a bad experience.

            This is very disgusting to inform you that I had just got an airtel connection.Firstly I was forced to take a hello tune even if I dont want it secondly you were unnessarily deducting my balance everyday .Its upto you to improve your customer support at Chennai or else may force me to cancel my connection and opt for another service.

            I am a customer of airtel for more than 4 years.Till last month every thing was fine for me with airtel.Last month only i came to know that they have been cutting rs 1 daily from my prepaid account balance. When i called the customer care they told me that i have activated some service, which i never activated.Even the same complaint came with my fathers mobile also which is also airtel connection. Not only in my father cell, also with one of my relative and in my friends cell who have airtel connection(prepaid).
            I dint know where to give complaint against airtel.so i simply searched net and saw this site.Hope atleast you will help us.

            I have come to one conclution that is i must disconnect airtel and opt for some other service provider.

              I have a mobile prepaid connection from Airtel. I have recharged through ICICI online recharge. Monet is debited from my account but no recharge is done yet. I have registered numbers of complaints regarding that to the customer care executive. but no update has beed recieved yet.
              They people are befooling me sayin tht we need some more hours to update that. Its more than enough. I have no chance of getting my money back. can you please help me in that.

              AirTel — not providing Services

              Sir,
              i am trying to avail GPRS facility from Airtel from last three days, but i am defeated with useless Airtel in getting above mentioned services. All the person sitting in Customer Care dont know what they are doing, all different person are telling different different reason or you can say excuses. The height of stupidity is that now they have blocked my call to Customer Care... i was thinking that if Vodafone had make an entry airtel will have to satisfied there Customer anyhow, , , , but Sorry to say that AIRTEL cant provide Service to its Customer

                Airtel is cheating by deducting Rs. 1.50 everyday from my prepaid balance from my prepaid account [protected].

                Many times I called Airtel Customer Care to get it de-activated. But after few days it is activated by Airtel itself fradulently to cosume the balance amount.

                Airtel customercare executives refuses to record complaint for this.

                At present the Airtel system is such that this can not be prevented by the prepaid customer.

                This is a well planned tecnique of getting the money from customer in fradulent manner.

                Can any step be taken against the Airtel Top Manangment for such fradulent practice and can this be stopped by any means?

                My airtel prepaid connection was recharge with Rs. 300/- on dated11.08.09 at 11.33 a.m. Till 15 Sep. 2009 my balance was of rupees 240.20, after that i have not used it.

                Now on 19.11.2009 when i started my mobile with airtel sim balance was Rs, 200.20, then i was surprised, because i have not used during this time.

                When also i try to call from my other mobile i found that a caller tune have been assigned to this connection.

                My concern on the notice that i have not assigned any caller tune on this connection.

                Resulting in the loss of rupees 40/- from my balance. Please review on this problem and get balance of rupees 240.20 back.

                  i am an airtel user for the past three years.. and i am really sad to write this.. airtel being the biggest cell company at india, is playing such an irresponsible role which i never expected from it ...

                  my cell no. is [protected], tamil nadu (outer chennai connection)///
                  it was a student pack.. there was a facility given by airtel called Closed User Group , with which call rates become 30p/min among the group.. i made that and was using it ...

                  now, airtel has launched a very good 97 booster with which call rates to local airtel can go to 10p/min, and 5p/min at night time... so, for this only i changed myself to TALK MORE plan, and then i took the booster, but amazingly
                  when i called my friend (who is in CUG also) , it cost me 30p/min and not 10p/min.. on this while talking to ur customer care i came to know that with the CUG nos. this 97/- booster will not be applicable.. on my request to close down the CUG, the plain i got was --- "THIS FACILITY NO LONGER EXISTS, AND HENCE NO MORE NUMBERS CAN BE ADDED OR DELETED .. "

                  i requested and told my problem .. on that they said that it will be cancelled in next 48 hours.. and will be intimated to me.. but nothing like that happened.. such great heights of irresponsibility have never seen ..

                  i don understand how can airtel give us a facility and then take it away without any notification... and even i[censored] r taking it back, atleast option should be there to revert back to normal state...

                  i am really disgusted after all this and hence writing such a long mail .. i hope that senior officials at aitel , will get the seriousness of the matter, and will resolve it at the earliest.. i hope to see the solution very soon, thinking about the name and fame of airtel ....

                    i have been using airtel prepaid sevices since three years without any inconvinience, but last month i got a message saying that i have utilized VAS services and a amount of 56 Rs has been deducted from my credit on 16 Sep 2007.

                    i have registered a complaint against this and got a reference number and this was repeated for almost 6 times and still there is no responce from you people.

                    I need a response through email or phone with in 48 hours, this is the last time i am requesting for....

                    If the request is not resolved, with in said period, will face legal action.

                          I ([protected]) Airtel prepaid customer. My Relative ([protected]) also Airtel prepaid customer. We both made activated add-on service last month. Eventhough service is activated they(Airtel) have taken normal charges only. I have complained about this 3 times (7 Oct, 14 Oct, 30 Oct). When ever i called to them they told "sorry for inconvenience and This problem would be rectified within 24 hr". But still date the problem was not rectified. Is this trusted service? or Am I fool to call to them these many times about same problem?
                          Are they reliable/efficient service providers?

                          The Status was saying that add-on service is active. Can Airtel rectify the problem and give back money? otherwise I will switch to other service provider.

                            Dear Custome Care Executive,
                            I have a mobile bearing no [protected].Its a prepaid connection with 1 year validity i.e., upto Feb08.When my balance is getting exhausted I went to a near by Airtel service Dealer at Kolata 4 days back and requested him to give a top up card of Rs110/=.But he said it is Rs120/=Then I said Ok and paid the money also.They had transferred thro their mobile and told me it was Successful.But till date the amount was not transferred and I am unable to operate it.When I tried to take up the matter with the local Airtel office thy initially said that within the next 8 to 11 hours we will get back to you with full details but never turned back.Today when I had taken up the matter with them ,they were telling me to Hyuderabad officei.e., on[protected].The number is providing only recorded services and it says no such number is in existence.What is all this.?Please let me know as to what has happened to my balace and how to get my mobile operationalised?

                              Dear Sir/Madam,

                              I have been a customer to Airtel for the past 5 years. I really used to like your friendly customer service. Unfortunately, at this point of time I really would like to point out your pathetic Customer service.

                              I have been using Airtel's two telephone numbers those are [protected] and [protected].
                              And the calls from [protected] to [protected] was free of cost through IRIS package.

                              But, I have been getting charged for the calls that I make from these numbers for the last one and half months. I have been calling your customer service number 121 and complaining regarding this matter ever since this problem has happend. Finally, I cannot even call your costomer service depaetment due to not getting connection with that department. Whenever, I get the connection with that department, they simply disconnect the phone line knowingly. And I have also asked many times to connect me with their senior officers. But, they have never done that either.

                              Now, I don't know whom to contact for presenting this issue. So, I thought that the relevant athourities should know what has been happening in your smaller branches without your knowledge.

                              If the same thing keeps happening again in the future, I will be forced to report this incident in the public news paper with concrete evidence. If you have any questions or concerns regarding this, I can be reached at [protected].

                                I am user of GPRS from Airtel Mah (KHAMGAON -Vidharbha) since from it begin.A problem i have not activate or using GPRS in last 15 days but Airtel Deduction debit on my balance account Rs.14.99 Paise per day from 26/10/2007 to up to date (07/11/2007).

                                Yesterday at abt 11 pm, i receivd a msg frm airtel telling that i was charged rs 99 for java game dwnld.
                                I didnt use airtel live yesterday and didnt dwnld anything.
                                But cust care said it was me only who dwnloaded the stuff from airtel live. This is not the first time that airtel has activated something automatically on my mobile. Even in last month some rs 50 service was activated and customer care claimed that i activated the service. But this time rs 99 is too much. My complaint number is [protected].                                 My Air tel Mobile No is [protected].On 23dec 2009 I had a balance of Rs- 50.87/- in my account. On 24 Dec 09 at 0857 hrs. I received a SMS from 543211 stating that I have been provided with hello tune for Rs. 45/-. Where as I have not send any request for hello tune. I am not able to contact customer care exicutive. Please deactivate hello tune and restore my balance at the earliest.

                                Airtel Prepaid — Balance being wrongly deducted

                                I have been an Airtel Customer for the past three years, but the last one week has been the worst experience so far. My Number is [protected]
                                A service called World Cup Video Subscription has been enabled on my Mobile and it is
                                being renewed every day, as a result of which Rs.3 is being deducted from my
                                prepaid balance every day.
                                I have been making calls to the customer service everyday to deactivate the
                                service and I am being told that the service is being deactivated and that I
                                would also be refunded the amount as I was wrongly charged even after making a
                                request to disable the service.
                                All the customer care executives keep repeating the messages like a
                                prerecorded message when asked for a resolution to my problem , that the
                                service has been deactivated and that I will not be getting any messages
                                related to the World Cup Video Service and that I will recieve an SMS
                                confirming the deactivation of the service.This, in spite of telling them that
                                I have been listening to the same message but nothing has changed over the last
                                four days.

                                However I haven't received a single SMS confirming the same, neither has any
                                balance been refunded.

                                I have made calls on last Thursday (24th March 2010), Friday (25th March 2010)
                                and Sunday (27th March 2010).


                                Finally I had written to the nodal officer and they wrote back to me and also talked to me on phone confirming that the service has been cancelled on the 30th of March and gave me this confirmation number

                                However even today I got an SMS again and money was deducted again for the same WCVideo pack service. So a total of more than Rs18 or more has been deducted so far within a weeks time. My balance will be gone in no time if this continues

                                This is really pathetic Customer Service and I did not expect this from Airtel.

                                Airtel Maharashtra — Illegal deduction of prepaid balance

                                I am Prerana Prakash, and my mobile number is +[protected]. I am an airtel prepaid customer since june 2010. My prepaid balance has been deducted for services such as "movie city info" which was activated on Feb 1st 2011 and "Fun time daily" activated on April 11th 2011, without my request. I was not even aware of such a service being active on my mobile number as I did not get any notification etc regarding the same.

                                I contacted Mr Kailash Kapse in Airtel Maharashtra Customer care call center today and only then I came to know of these services getting activated on my number. I tried to talk to their supervisors but none was available. I tried 7 times but I was kept waiting with no reply from their side.

                                Kindly help me with this problem.

Main apna airtel prepaid 200/-validity voucher se[protected] ko recharge kiya us samay mera balance 304.42 paisa tha lekin raat 9.30 ko mera balance minus me 30/- show kar raha hai. custemer exucitive se 25.10.07 ko baat kiya to bola gaya ki 72 ghanta main aapka balance lauta diya jaiga lakin 27-10 ko baat karne par kaha gaya ki aapke balance ka pata nahi chal raha hai 24 ghanta main hamare yaha se aapko phone kiya jaiga lakin koi phone nahi aiya yaha ke TM se baat kiya lakin koi faida nahi hua aab main thak chuka hu.Aab main aapna airtel perpaid connection band kar kisi dushre network ka istemal karne ki taiyari kar raha hoon.Lakin Aur laog ko bhi Mai yahi kahunga ki Airtel Choor Company Hai Aap dushra network use kare.

                                  Dear Sir,

                                  Before I start my complaint I apologize to disturb you in your work timing. I
                                  made a call to Airtel customer care about 3 weeks back and launched a
                                  Complaint, Initially L1 Person took the Call and spoke to me he place me on
                                  hold for nearly 5 to 6 mins, I didn't say anything, I explained him everything
                                  about the issue, I am using the Airtel Connection for Past 10 yrs. It was
                                  working fine, for past 3 yrs I am facing the Network Problem. Initially I
                                  thought its mobile problem, since I was not able to change the Mobile at that
                                  time, then I changed 2 mobiles and currently its 3rd mobile still I am facing
                                  the same problem, there will be no tower in my mobile all of a sudden. This is
                                  not in a single place, where I have this issue in many places while talking or
                                  after finish talking and cut the call all of a sudden the tower gets vanishes.
                                  For this I made a call before 3 weeks and complaint number is
                                  [protected], Spoke to L1 and he transferred the call to L2 Named Nithya. She
                                  spoke and gave the complaint number, she told a duration of 2 weeks maximum
                                  time till 02nd June 2010, but till date I didn't receive any call or message or
                                  any feedback or not even a checking purpose call from your end. So I waited
                                  till 09th June 2010 and call again to Airtel Customer Care by Yesterday. I
                                  spoke a L1 Technician and he cant understand what I am saying, he just says
                                  only it¿s a mobile problem. After checking the status of the ticket, he says
                                  that the team has checked and the problem is in my mobile. If so then why I had
                                  the same problem in the previous 2 handsets. I again tried to explain
                                  everything from beginning. No one is ready to hear my issue from your tech
                                  team. Then L1 transferred the call to L2 Named bala (Not exactly), he also told
                                  the same story. He says that we have to call to the customer care and ask about
                                  the complaint feedback. Nithya told that I will be receiving a message or call
                                  or mail confirmation but I have not received any thing till date.

                                  After Speaking with Bala he told that my issue will be solved with in 4 to 5
                                  hrs and I will be receiving a call from your end (ie., from Santhome
                                  branch), till date I didn't receive any calls from your end. I am really getting
                                  frustrated of this issue, I am an ever long customer for past 10 yrs, but your
                                  response and feedback goes too bad and changes my mind to any other operator.
                                  So please do the needful for this issue

                                  As Bala from Santhome told that I will receive a call, I didn't receive. There
                                  is an another issue, they told that I have been used GPRS and they are
                                  detecting the amt. On my knowledge I didn¿t use the internet over the phone by
                                  yesterday morning 07:00 AM. I was in the office, there is no purpose o[censored]sing
                                  the internet in the phone while I have it in my office. For this issue I spoke
                                  at the same time in the same call for 20 mins. There was no response. The amt
                                  was detected in the morning by 7:00 to 10:00 AM(Not exactly) twice, and again
                                  at 11:53 AM again it was detected. So I spoke to CC, they told that they will
                                  check and call back, but no response from your end.

                                  At last without any reason you have detected nearly 6 times in my recharge
                                  account yesterday. I don¿t whats the Issue from your end. Please read it and do
                                  the needful, Yesterday I was not treated as a human by your Customer Care.
                                  Please go ahead and do the changes and needful for your customers without any
                                  fail. Expecting a positive feedback from you as soon as possible. I am afraid
                                  of doing a recharge of my mobile since if I am doing a recharge its getting
                                  automatically detected. So I will wait for your confirmation.

                                  Still they have not yet called me till date

Den my incoming & outgoing calls were blocked...wen i complaining it they said tat we r upgrading our computers n we cant give u any information now..so pls call sometime...although they continue it for a week...                                     I have been subscriber of Air Tel mobile serive. My. no. is [protected]. I have been asking for amout outstanding against my number for the last two months. The bills are paid by my employer. It seems the bill is outstanding for the last six months but Air Tel did not bother me in spite of repeated follow ups to inform me the outstanding details. At last the service is disconnected by the company and then they inform me my out standing details. Contacting customer service officer is a night mare. Either they are not reachable or they keep you on hold for more than required. Never respond back on time. This is absolutely unprefessional way of doing business.
                                    i was demanding for increasing speed of my broad band connection from 3 months .i m in plan of 499 p/month presntly(speed 64 kbps).i was reuesting to put me in plan of 600 rs for month (speed -128 kbps).my phone no is.[protected]. pl start my plan as soon as possible.if not possible then give me a new connection by disconnecting my old connection.

I am faced network problem last 3 months, Daily 1300 hrs to 1600 hrs Network not avilable, and i launched my compliant to my customer care in Dec 08, but problem not yet solved . now one more problem raised that my service customer care facility was stopped since Jan 09, there is no choice for launch compliant and to speek with customer care throuhg any way . I am launch my compliant through Tamil Nadu customer care on 16 Feb 2009 on payment call not a free call .                                     Im soory but im going to the comsumer court to sue airtel for detucting money from my pre-paid a/c every single day for a month now. i am using a black and white handset (model 1100) and airtel is deducting money from my balance for using a web service called speedflirt. Have anyone ever heard o[censored]sing the web in a black and white handset? maybe the father of airtel and his mother invented. I call the customer service each single day, but instead on solving my querries they abuse me because i do not speak hindi. common guys this is too much as before only a rupee was being deducted but from this week the amt increase to three rupees...is the ceo of airtel listening. the day i curse you, you people will die in an accident or the devil will eat you up...airtel sucks and you are robbing me of my hard earned money, im not a sconderls like you ...you use dirty money but mine is earned the hard way. if you are not looking into the matter then thats ok as God will curse you soon and paralyse you all.

Your customer care dept. is refuning the dedected money and assured that this service would be stopped within four hours and no such SMS would be sent in future. But it is matter of high regret that even after assurence of stop services, such SMS are continue.

                                    Now I am advising you that sending such SMS from no.290603 should be stopped immediately and refund the money Rs.3/- deducted yesterday evening on behalf deducted on such UNWANTED SMS otherwise I have no option to tackle this matter through cusumer court as.

                                    My Prepaid Airtel Connection No.[protected], my handset is Nokia 2700. A Messages comes from your site " Your handset has an invalid IMEI. As per Govt. directive handsets with invalid IMEI will not work with any Telecom Service Operator and you can get a new IMEI from Govt. approved Centres at Rs.199/- only". This messages comes every hour in a day and disturbe me. Why harrash me by this message? Please look into this matter as early as possible and stoped this message so far. If it is not done then I will go Consumer Cell for this matter.

                                    i have prepaid lifetime card. the airtel deducting my money from my balance without any reason i can't subscribe any service but send me a message two times same ms'g and deducting my balance two time same way .i have complain about this but no one take action. my mobile number is [protected]

                                      on 3.10.2007 of Rs. 33 having scheme AIRTEL TO AIRTEL
                                      Re 1/min STD calls. But till date the scheme is not going well. I have complained to customer care 15 times. But no action was taken against it. Today on 26.10.2007 at about 6:45 pm I have talked to Kerala on no [protected] for only 75 seconds but my Rs. 5 & 30 paise have been cut from balance. So I want my problems solved immediately......

                                      i pertik sharma has installed a broadband connection at my place on[protected] along with the telephone no[protected]. the sales excutive Mr. Jagpal cell no [protected] has taken Rs500/- in cash and provided my a receipt against it. but after payment i received a call from Airtel office regarding new broadband connection and they told me that as per our new scheme as festival offer, there shall be no installation charges if i order a new broadband connection.

                                      in reference to the call from Airtel office, i asked Mr. Jagpal about the refund of Rs.500/- paid by me as installation charges but he refused to do so and said that there ios no such scheme.

                                      secondly, when your enginner came for the installation i discussed the same with him and he also confirmed that there is no such charges on new connections and Rs.500/- has been wrongly taken by Mr. Jagpal.

                                      your goodself isrequested to kindly look into the matter and refund me a sum of Rs.500/- paid by me at the earliest otherwise i will not pay any dues against the said connection and necesseary legal action will be taken agianst your company.

                                      dear sir,this is to bring to your kind attention that i have applied for a broad band connection of airtel plan 399.currently i m living in indore andapplied to your franchisee GROW MORE INC. who had there office in Diamond colony.it has been one month and no body came from there to install connection not only this they have misplaced my documents which includesmy Voter ID and passport copy.whenever i call at the office no body picks up my call,and when i called the executive and said that ill be complaining they said that go and complaint..its very sad that Airtel is such abig brand name and we dont except this type of attitude from the company so please do some thing or these type of franchisee will ruin your name...
