Dear Sir,

This is to bring to your attention that we have been wrongly billed for the last one year for our broadband connection[protected]. This connection belongs to my father who is a senior citizen.

Your team activated the 999 plan which offers a speed of 200mbps for him last year in October. He has been constantly facing an issue with very low internet speed which hovers between 10-25 mbps. Couple of months ago, he was approached by your executive who recommended upgrading the plan to 1499 promising him an internet speed of 300mbps. My father shared with him the issue he is currently facing with the internet speed, and was assured that this plan is a high speed plan and would resolve the speed issue. The executive activated the plan. After a month of observing, my father approached your helpline and was told that the person who upgraded his bill plan has wrongfully done so, as airtel doesnt have the infrastructure in his location to provide an internet speed of more than 25mbps. Therefore, she reduced the bill plan to 499, teling him that the bill plan of 999 which was activated in October 2019 also was also much higher and not applicable to his location due to the lack of infrastructure to support the same. Pls. note that the activated bill plan of 499 also also offers an internet speed of 40mbps.

We have been with airtel for almost 20 years now with several mobile and internet connections, and it hurts to be wronged like this. We have been requesting airtel to rectify and refund the excess charged to him for the entire period as mentioned above (since October 2019) due to wrong commitment and activation of bill plan and charges not being in accordance with the service being provided. I have written to Airtel nodal officer, and appellate authority, however they have failed to provide a fair resolution on the matter.

You are requested to intervene as an adjustment and refund due to mis-selling and wrong billing needs tome made for a full year since October 2019.

P.S. We reported the lapse on Twitter but the social media team lacks the basic ethos of customer service and are more focused on closing the conversation without any solution. In case they have not been empowered to make decisions, what exactly is the point in having that team in place, a bot would do the same.

Dear Sir,

Despite having spoken with more than 10 people from Airtel, along with an exchange of several emails, the issue is not being resolved by Airtel. While the executives from Airtel call and agree that there has been a mistake at Airtel's end for activating a higher bill plan with a promised speed of 200mbps without checking the feasability, and lack of infrastructure in our area to support the said plan, and thus overcharging us. The executives confirmed that the infra currently can only support upto 25 mbps internet speed in our area, and not more. When they try to get an approval on the refund for the excess amount charged to us, the same is being denied by senior authorities. The executives then come back and take a u-turn on the statements made earlier, and arrogantly argue, trying to justify the excess charges and higher plan. This has happened several times, and is quite a harassing experience. Despite having directly escalating the matter to the CSD head, Mr. Jaswinder Chaudhary, the refund has not been processed.

    Applied for Airtel Broadband on 27 September 2020 and subscribed for Monthly Rental ₹499 (40Mbps) plan. The Airtel personnel asked us to pay Rs.1768 online for installation & plan, which we did (Airtel product payment taxation ID:[protected]. He told us that Airtel would do installation of broadband by 2 pm of 27 September 2020, however, no installation was done that day.

    I contacted the Airtel personnel several times after that since I had an urgent requirement of broadband but they even stopped picking up the calls. Thereafter, I was told that connection and installation would be done within 72 hrs. Now more than 72 hours have passed and they are again saying that they need 3 more days due to some technical issue in area.

    I feel exhausted by such a poor response towards customer by Airtel. I no longer want Airtel broadband to be installed and want my Rs.1768 to be refunded.

    Please help.

      I am writing this email to express my utmost disappointment in using the services of airtel. My name is Harish and I am a customer of airtel since almost a year. I had recharged my account for Rs. 249/- ( 1.5 GB per day pack ) on the date of 04/09/20. I didn't get my recharge and I had got a message back then saying 'recharge unsuccessful' in spite of money being debited from my bank account. I had to recharge my number again for the same pack and money got debited for that too. I was expecting a refund for the unsuccessful recharge within 7 working days ( as per your policy ) and I didn't received any. I then approached a nearby Airtel store and expressed my concern to a customer representative. He got my details and raised a ticket and committed to me that I would get a refund within a couple of days. Nothing happened. I then approached the same store and asked for the details and the rep made the same fake commitment that I would get a refund within 2 days. I then called him and asked what was going on and to which he didn't respond properly and said he would recheck. It has been almost a month and I didn't get any sort of refund from Airtel. I request your team to escalate this issue and initiate refund for my number immediately. I have attached all my details for your reference. If I don't hear from your team within 2 days, I am going to file a complaint on consumer court!Â

        I added money into airtel thanks app for mobile recharge on 28 sep 2020 by amazon upi but money did not load in thanks app and money transferred into this upi [protected]@icici and my recharge did not done and refund of my money is getting very far
        And ICICIB has informed me that my transactions is failed but they did not refund my money so kindly help me...
        I was doing recharge of 199

          I've added money 2 times once from phone pe amount 580 and once from gpay amount is 580 both transaction ia successful showing that money reached to vender but my Wallet is not showing that money my mobile number is [protected] and Airtel is not providing customer support it really bad there no option to complaint directly

              I have paid 2828 Rs on[protected] for Airtel broadband connection. They promised to give connection/installation by[protected] Afternoon. But, they didn't give any connection and started billing. Tried to reach Airtel customer care multiple times, they are telling again I have to wait for 24 hrs.

              1.How many 24 hrs I have to wait.
              2.Why should I have to pay for Airtel if there is no connection itself.

              I concluded that the service provided by Airtel is very bad and don't want Airtel services any more.

              I am requesting please refund my money as you have not given any broadband connection to me.

                While calling, not able to hear proper voice of other person and vice versa or continue break in voice is there.

                Network issues.
                Cant able to lodge complaint in Airtel via my airtel app.

                My Airtel app is not detecting my problems. Check scree shots. I have data pack then also it is showing running low with data balance.

                Not able to send Port Messages to 1900 only.

                  I have a poor connection from airtel. I had raised a complaint to airtel but till now there has been no improvement.
                  Automatically Network mode changes into 4G to E mode. No or less network is there in 4G. There is no 3G network available.

                  One the contrary the problem has aggravated and I have been informed that my cell phone is unreachable at times. This is impacting my work.

                  But I am unable to send SMS to 1900, for porting out my sim from airtel to another service provider.
                  I am able to send SMS to all other numbers like my friends and relatives.

                    Since Monday on[protected], I've been sending messages to 1900 to PORT out my Mob No - [protected] from Airtel but I'ven't yet received UPC Code. I contacted Airtel Customer Care a number of times but no result. I even raised the issue to appellate wb and so far I don't receive UPC Code.
                    Plz take this as a compaint and resolve.

                      I am Dr. Jayanta Ghosh S/O Lt. Jatindra Chandra Ghosh of Dhaleswar-10, Agartala-799007 is complaining against air tel mobile phones SIM card service.My asking 1. Why reject my SIM without prior information? 2. Why issued SIM if the customers DATA incomplete ? 3. Why I would turn to another plan ?4. Who completed service provider's system ? 5. Am I wrong?

                      So, I requested to "air tel " to rectification all dispute without any hesitation if necessary my documents shall agree to submit.

                        Here in our area we are facing a huge problem because of no internet connection.
                        We have a tower near by but it's already outdated it's doesn't work.
                        Please upgrade the tower so we can use good quality internet.
                        Airtel claims to be a good network provider but in our area we don't think so please resolve this problem as soon as possible or else we have to go to another telecom operators.
                        We need to work from home in this pandemic but we don't have a trustworthy network we as a student facing a problem regarding attending online classes and all.
                        Please upgrade this tower which is installed decades earlier but not yet maintained or upgraded very unsatisfactory from Airtel

                          No refund has been received after disconnection of Broadband account

                          I disconnected my broadband connection in the month of May, and requested airtel customer support team to refund the security deposit amount they take during the time of connection.

                            Now when i am trying to call kotak customer care they says your account does not have sufficient balance to make the call.

                              My airtel broadband account/services were deactivated and on safe custody from mid july and i paid the combo pack which is 500 + tax for 3 months. I reactivated the services in august end and the company is charging me for the month of august even though i paid for the combo pack. I have the emails from airtel stating that my safe custody was activated and i have been trying to follow up withe company but every time i call them they say and admit that there was technical issue but they do not resolve it and say supervisor will call but no one calls and it's been almost a month but they haven't resolved it. Also now they have stopped the broadband services due to non payment of bill which they have charged incorrectly.

                                refund for wrong mobile recharge of airtel

                                Dear sir/mam,

                                I have recharged to my number [protected] by mistake instead of recharging my father's number with amount 379 today morning and my transaction id is[protected]. I have recharged again my father's number but i don't want recharge on my number as i already have recharge for the next two months. Kindly help me out and refund my money back. I have recharged through paytm app.

                                I tried using airtel 121/198 and airtel thanks app but it does not allow me to get to a live agent. I bought an airtel prepaid sim 2 days back and paid rs 350. The same day it showed insufficient balance and i recharged again rs 250. It still said low balance so i submitted a request to convert to postpaid. Airtel is saying that the rs 350 + rs 250 = rs 600 i paid is gone. This is fraud and stealing. I tried calling customer support multiple times but not able to reach a representative. On top of that it does not allow me to call any toll free number (1800/1866)

                                  I have ordered fast tag id through airtel app, i received message on 17 sep 2020 my fast tag id shipped. Till now when i check through airtel thanks app it is still showing shipped due to this i am facing issue at toll plaza.
                                  This is very frustrating. And whenever i called to airtel customer care number there is no option for fast tag. Simply making fool and harrashing people everyfay i am wasting 10 minute on toll plaza.

                                    Refund amount of failed recharge.

                                    I have recharged on my mobile number - ([protected]) of rs 599. Money was deducted from my account, but from airtel i got message about

                                    "we are experiencing technical issue at our end. We will refund or recharge with your selected denomination in next 2 hours. Regret the inconvenience."

                                    Now two days have been completed, but still i didn't received any recharge amount or there is any recharge active on my mobile...
