Its been frustrating 2 weeks just to find a method to connect my email id to telephone no - though on the airtel thanks app it is verified. Only to apply for an esim.
The self online method does not allow, there is no way to connect to an airtel customer person on 121, there is no specific email id to put the matter forth, there is no specific option on the ivr menu, the airtel shops do not have the authority, local executives like tsm of the area also are helpless.

So in all essence there is no way to connect to a human entity for any correspondence.
Airtel customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.
I am facing the same issue
I was not able to update the email id for esim, after struggling hours on 121 I was able to connect to Customer support, try this trick
Dial 121
Select Languale
Select (1) prepaid or (2) postpaid
Select (2) for more information
Select (3) for internet not working/sim lost/other complaints
Select (9) for Customer support

Trick is to lister whole IVR instruction as they are telling "connect to customer representative" after they tell "go back to main menu" option.

My status : Got a request raised on 6th sept, got a verification call today and by tomorrow the email Id should be updated. Also you can track this request in Airtel Thanks App (althought you cannot raise it from the app).

    I have ordered the fastag from airtel thanks app and got the product at start of september month and today is 7th september 2020 but in airtel thanks app it is still showing shipped because of this i'm not able to activate it and dtdc courier service mentioned it delivered in their tracking system.

    Please help me as it is creating problem & customer care service is worst & the call gets end.

        Two weeks ago i came to know that Airtel fiber is available in my area so, i applied on the website link. The other day a guy came to visit my home to know the details and book the connection on the address, he demanded the payment right away, I agreed and paid the money on the generated link. I got the assurance that the connection will be installed within 72 hours. After 3 days with no follow up on their behalf i contacted the same person who came to visit the address and he said their is testing to be done and a fault came up and will be rectified in 2 days. I waited those three days including the weekends after that. I though i finally be getting the connection today but as, i contacted him he gave me other error has occurred while testing, I said i did not sign up for these excuses. I still wait for my new connection this is really a shame that a consumer is treated like a dirt on the ground.

          Dear team,

          If your person or your company unable to give us a proper service than please shut-down your broadband service, i think the company will automatically shutdown because of your employees.

          First, while i was talking to your team for a new connection they were calling me again' again' for the request and when i've paid everything for the connection now they're not responding they are not picking up my calls. They gave me the commitment that after the payment your installation will done within 1-2 hours. Well between 2-3pm i've done the payment and till now no call from your side, i didn't a single conformation mail or message till now. How can trust your in future now.

              I asked Airtel Social media team immediately after activating my roaming pack if it can be cancelled immediately with pro rata charges only if I stopped using it. The team informed me that I won’t be charged anything for the back but just for the one call I made on pro rata which would be around 150 Rs. a month later airtel sends me a bill of Rs. 5000 and says the plan couldn’t be cancelled. I did not even use the roaming pack and still was asked to pay 5000 rs. months later, one of the social media executive admitted that the amount was unfairly being charged and he was removed from my project, his manager took over who not only bluntly ignored it but also misbehaved with me. I have suffered huge losses because the number was connected to all my bank accounts. I just request airtel to stop coercive activities and give me my number back.

                We are able to study online class in home .we go to roof on last there a chance of online class going . But in home network good but Internet speed not good to bad.

                  I'm Avisek Bhattacharjee from Berhampore, West Bengal. I have two Airtel sim card no. [protected] & [protected]. & My father Tusher Kanti Bhattacharjee have Airtel sim [protected]. From today(07/09/2020) every Airtel sim is Inactive. No Internet & no calling facilities. I remove sim from phone & after 30 seconds restarts the phone, change handsets but no results. All sims are silent.On the Otherhand My BSNL sim working fine in every handsets. I lodge this complaints from BSNL no. [protected]. This is very serious problem. But Airtel tells me to go any Airtel store without any checking. But due to lockdown in West Bengal today I unable to go in Airtel store. & If problem continues then I lost my days from my Airtel unlimited plans. Because Airtel can't extend those days which I lost for inactive sim problem.

                    On 2/9/2020 a phone call came from no 91-[protected] saying that you will get yyour refund of rs.219/ for recharging mobile no [protected] which was not sucessful and I demanded for refund. Then man concerned asked to download an app namely QS. just download finished that 25000 had been debited and your card has been blocked due to suspicious transaction send by sbi. I checked my balance and surprised to see 25000/ debited.It is an unauthorised transaction. I lodged diary to local police station and cyber crime shell.

                    complain stads as coplain without any solution. one representative talk to me and reports that he will refer it to airtel money.. As per me i never consider this as solution. Airtel money and Airtel never gives any respose through mail or phone call rather they maintain the policy of silencr.

                    I dont know the fate of my complain till now.Please look into the matter seriosly by which I a senior citizen can get back my money which was hacked and I fall into that conspiracy. Our respecred Prime Minister repeatedly announced that digital bharat is his dream. But that dream will be sadly belied if a poor citizen becomes the victim of this type of fraud and if they are not idetified then this will boost up them.
                    so for the shake of trust and security of consumer and to keep the fame of Bharati Airtel you are duty bond to solve the matter.

                        The post-paid airtel mobile number of mine ([protected]) has been permanently disconnected effective from[protected] in this period of the covid-19 pandemic by airtel without any intimation to me. The due amount of rs. 2300/- (Rupees two thousand three hundred) was paid to airtel on 03/09/2020. Afterwhich, the requests are sent to airtel on their customer care numbers and e-mail [protected]@airtel.com from my registered e-mail id er. [protected]@gmail.com. Despite the payment, they are not activating my mobile and asking for additional payment and for visiting nearby airtel stores. As i have been here in agartala since february 2020, and couldn't return to kolkata because of my business activities here, and at the same time because of awkward situation due to various lockdown and other unanticipated measures due to the covid-19 pandemic. As i visited airtel store at the city centre, ground floor, agartala, on 04/09/2020 they intimated that they can't do anything on it. As a result, i lost my access to the bank account and other related access which were linked to this mobile number and facing irreparable damage to my business. Airtel must reconsider there steps and activate my mobile number without any further harassments immediately without any additional payment.

                          My airtel no. [protected] sim not working last two days. This type of problem repeatedly. Last june 20 i was face this type of problem and change the sim. Please inform me how many time a change a sim in a year? How many charge a paid to every sim? And every time stop my all work like online trading, online banking, mobile banking. Who are responsible for this type of problem? Me or airtel.???¿?

                            Data recharge 401 pack states that it offers 30GB for 28 days. But when I had paid for it on 18th July 2020, i noticed that it offered me only 3GB data which i had consumed in about 6 days. & i had to recharge my data again.

                                  I'm a postpaid user of plan 499 and since the first day I'm facing the problem of slow internet connectivity. Even after several complains the problem is not resolved. Everytime I complain to customer care they give me a time limit of 8days. I urge for help because I cannot do my regular tasks even.

                                    I had a corporate connection with airtel in my previous company. I visited airtel store to put sim on my name. Store guys in hisar (Haryana) dabra chowk said they need a letter head. We got the letter head on soft copy as agreed by the store person. But when we went with that store guy kept on persisting on getting the printout. I was strictly against it as the covid scare is still on and i didn’t wanted to waste paper so that he can waste paper. Later on turns store ot self has color printer they did not wanted to use it. After one hour o[censored]npleasant waiting the guy said “ this letter head was not required. I was shocked i was without my phone number just because his colleague misinformed. Somehow. We got another sim from him. On 5 th september my sim lost the network. So we inserted new sim provided bu store.

                                    Mow there is mo network on this. Really airtel worst customer service. On top of that this guy threatened is before even providing the sim that it won’t works. Looks like airtel people can mess customers easily.

                                        Hi had booked a new connection for airtel broad brand and it deducted 2 times of my money like 28282+2828. The promised for giving a connection about 40 to 50 mbps but after that they said your internet speed will be 16 mbps, and when i visit the airtel office they said we don't have connections for that area give a mail to airtelnvs. [protected]@airtel.com and 121.[protected]@airtel.in. I dont know what should i do!!! Is airtel is brand???.
