I did a recharge on 18/08/2020 of Rs. 49 on my no. [protected], giving me a validity of 28 days. Before this I had 10 days validity left on this no. But after doing the recharge of Rs. 49, these leftover 10 days had not added up to the new 28 days. When I contacted the Airtel Customer Care Specialist, she said that add on facility is not available for these recharges. But the irony here is the data and talk time have been added in the account.
Moreover, when I am trying to get this information being reached to Airtel people, there is no such option in Airtel Thanks App. I emailed this issue to their email id [protected]@in.airtel.com, but I was getting the reply that my email id is not registered, and I have to call on 121 to get my email id registered. When I am calling to 121 (My airtel no. is on Roaming), it is saying that the no. is not valid. I inquired about this too from Airtel Customer Care, but they said to contact the local Airtel Office.
I think that previous leftover validity days should get added to the new recharge days, otherwise people will refrain from getting their no. recharged in advance. You are also getting extra income because of this. Being an esteemed and leading company, you should look over this matter urgently.
Also, look for calling issue to 121 from roaming and how to add email id online or through phone, as it is difficult for me to personally go to Airtel Office.
