I had requested to upgrade to airtel fibre back in february 2020. The person came and installed the wiring then, but said they ran out of modem and will come back later to install it. After that covid happened and no one came.
Now that things have opened, i have contacted them 15 times, every time they say we will get back in 72 hours but have not received any response.
Order number is 75773195.

Most recently they have told me they will get back on june 28, july 1, july 3, july 7 both via email and via twitter.

after submitting consumer complaint in a couple of places, this was promptly resolved. before that it was a nightmare. they don't have a way to talk to human anymore.

    Past 2 months speed of airtel in my area sanjay nagar near saket petrol pump meerut u. P was awsome but when i recharge my no bu 2498 2gb per day plan for 1 year speed goes down to bottom. Innour family we are using 3 sims of airtel all are facing same problem i have complaint 2 times on airtel thanks app but they are not listning.
    I can't understand jio is expanding his network day by day but airtel going to bottom.
    At last customer has no option other thanntonpoer out from airtel.

      Dear Sir/Madam,

      Today i have received calls from some numbers to my mobile . but i did not attend it as i was busy on my work and later when i checked my mobile i saw some 35 to 40 missed calls from different numbers and i had a search for that numbers in my true caller and it shows different names and i also continuously receiving call till this evening and i attend and spoke and i got to know they were wrong numbers and they were looking for some person which is not myself so i told its a wrong number and i cut the call. so i am just writing to you to avoid any problems which may arise in future.

        Hi,

        My name is Zaheer and my registered mobile number is [protected]. Yesterday i tried adding one more prepaid number [protected] under my family plan of 799. So i contacted the Airtel customer care to have that number added. Based on my request, they initiated the process of migrating from prepaid to postpaid. But some how they have cancelled the request . After this, im not able to use any of my prepaid service for the number [protected], be it incoming or outgoing. Hence i have escalated the issue yesterday for which another customer care executive named anusha who contacted me today to say that this is because of the different circle issue and it cannot be resolved by their team and i have to contact the airtel store. As all are aware, none of the airtel stores in chennai are working.so she suggested me to contact airtel prepaid team to have this resolved.
        In this lockdown period, im really having trouble contacting any of the prepaid team, so i told her kindly have it directed to the relevant team to have this resolved. But she responded rudely that this is not her concern and she cant help me on this. Thanks for this pathetic gesture to a loyal customer. By showing hands to different direction is not a good way to handle any customer. And whats the point of saying VIP service for platinum customers.
        After all this Yesterday I visited the Airtel store looking for answers. Still they have no clue on why the number [protected] has been barred and they have written it to the head office team asking for explanation.
        These guys are really pathetic and torturing the customer in these times.
        They promised a day to get back to me. A day has passed. No response from them. Almost 2 days of no service

            My mobile no i s[protected]. I am having prepaid mobile connection in the pack of rs.598.00 and valid upto 19.07.2020 but erroniously i paid an amount of rs.379.00 opting the pack which is providing only 6gb. Now i desire to continue with the old package of rs.598.00 to have 1.5 gb daily and prefer to pay the remaining amount. Since the old package is still in force please inform how to pay the remaining amount to continue with the old pack.

              I have recharged my dad which is a airtel number via netbanking but the plan is still not activated. He still gets message to recharge. When i checked in portal is says recharge failed but why my money is not refunded. Either the money should get refund or the plan should be activated. Please help.

                    Airtel khta hai ki we are the best but ye adhikar aapko kisne diya ki aap khud ko best khe. Fastest support dete hai hum aisa khna hai inka par ye kuch nhi krte.

                    Mera internet 8 july 2020 ko poori trh se kaam karna band kar diya mai complaint kiya kha gaya jldi he thik ho jayega mai ruka wait kiya 10 june ko fir call kiya tho pata chla ki mujhe 17 june tak wait krna hoga

                    Tho mai ye chata hu ki 17 june tak jo mera data loss hoga wo koun dega bcz or jo mera kaam loss ho raha hai wo koun dega. Sahna tho mujhe parega matlab paise bhru mai or prblm v sahu mai kyu..?

                    Inka khna hai ki network mai problem chal rahi hai aapke taraf joki poori tarah se jhuth hai yha se 100m ki doori par tower hai jha koi work nhi ho raha or aisa hai tho sirf mera he net ka problem kyu hai mere friends ka kyu nhi.

                    Pichli br aisa he hote hote suddenly sim card bnd ho gaya mujhe samr number par sim lena pada 120rupee dekar ab wo 120rupee ko be matlab ka loss koun bhrega. Har baar khna ki complaint le li gai hai bs yhi suno aap kaam krte v ho uspr ki nhi hame kaise pata or kaam krte ho tho baar baar ye problem mujhe he kyu aati hai.

                    Aapko koi hak nhi khud ko best khne ka bilkul v nhi.

                    Ek tho inhe call kro tho phle mujhe mera poora details denge are pata hai mujhe q bata rahe ho fir inke offers suno fir agar mujhe option 1 choose karna hai tho waiitttt kro jbtak inka poora bhashan nhi hoga wait krte raho or last mai 1 choose kro or fir bhashan suno.

                    Mere liye airtel sabse ghatiya network hai jo bs apne aap ko best khna janta hai or logo ko lutna jaanta hai

                    Agar aisa he raha tho mai inpr fir jarur karuga

                    Agar aapke prblm k karan mera net 2 din k liye v bnd hota hai tho kya aap 2 din extra data dete ho nhi na sarm kro or kuch dhang ka kaam karo aap log taaki customer ko behtar support de sako sirf tv par we are the best dikhane se kuch nhi hoga.

                      For last 2 week i am getting such bad internet connection, i have a 4G pack yet i receive 2G signal a lot of times, and even when i get 4G signal, the speed barely crosses 50kbps. I have tried contacting the CUSTOMER care, but no use.
                      Airtel has one of the ### CUSTOMER care i have seen so far, and your airtel app is so bad, everytime i try doing anything, either searching a query or diagnosing a problem(which is pointless) all it shows me is technical difficulty faced.
                      And now even the call has started to drop in between.
                      Such bad condition and in advertiser airtel claim to give service even on mountains yet i can receive any decent service in my home.
                      such ### service and CUSTOMER care.

                          Even without using the internet or say using it for 10 minutes or so all my 1.5 gb data balance are deducted regularly. No help from customer care, i can not talk any of the customer care poor poor poor service i have ever experienced in my life.

                          Bhaia only advertisement with nice girl doesn't create a niche in the market remember it,

                          I am going to port to jio once my balance /validity is over
                          Surprisingly no one from airtel contacted me even though i have complained two days back.. Great great fraud business by airtel

                              I am start facing net disconnect issue from dated 6 june 2020 and till now. Last 15 days the issue increased i called airtel agent ajay number of time. On dated 7 july i was in call with agent ajay he told me that we are not able to resolve your u can move to local network and close my ticket as issue resolve but my issue not resolve. I called to customer care they locked my issue ticket and i got call on dated 9 july from airtel agent and said to me sir your issue has been resolve and asking for happy code. But my issue that time not resolve. He called my 7 to 8 time for happy code i refuse bcz my issue stil not resolve. At 5pm on dated 9 july i got text from airtel related to my issue request will be postpone for tomorrow. Leter at i got another text from airtel it related to my issue was resolve but it still not resolve. Again i got call from agent at 6:57 pm that time i was busy and unable to take call. At 7 pm my net stop working and leter i try to call the agent but he cut my calls. Now it 11:44 pm still my net is not working. Agent cut off my net from there side. Without net i can’t do my work from home. Please do need full help.

                                    Hi have recharged Rs.598 pack from AIRTEL THANKS APP and it got failed but my money was deduced immeditely, I have waited for almost 1 day but no response from them regarding the refunded and even still now I didn't receive my money back to my account.
                                    when I tried reaching customer care through 121 or 198 there is no options available to talk to them, so have send an email to them to [protected]@airtel.com but no proper response from them too.

                                    I totally disappointed and very much frustrated on their poor response. Please take legal action against them.

                                      This is veneshdas. My airtel no is [protected]. Belong to palakkad, kerala. While my phone is switched off, all calls that i receive are being forwarded to some unknown numbers, which is really annoying. I haven't activated call forwarding option in this number. Please register this as a complaint and kindly deactivate all call forwarding options associated with my airtel number

                                        The concerned official,
                                        I have applied for a new airtel dth connection on july 8 2020 and today the executives from airtel has refused to provide the connection. The reason they mention is that there is a problem with local dth service providers.
                                        There is an old airtel dth connection at the same location and almost all houses in the neighbourhood have various other private dth connections such as videocon, tata sky and including airtel.
                                        I have mentioned all this and even escalated the issue to the airtel nodal office in bangalore, but rather than providing a solution, they have outright denied my connection request.
                                        Request trai to intervene and help provide a solution and strict action be taken against airtel.

                                        Post raising this complaint, airtel has contacted and agreed to provide DTH service upon the condition that I agree to pay an extra ₹250 for a private technician and to pick up the technician from a a little distance. All the above mentioned conditions was agreed my me even before, but they still had refused, but now post this complaint raised, they have come and installed DTH and provided service. Thanks for the timely intervention. A suggestion, kindly do investigate this problem with local DTH providers who neither provide reliable service nor do they allow other dth services.
