    Today i did a recharge on my airtel number through airtel website airtel.in but the amount was deducted immediately and a transaction number was sent but nothing further. No data pack recharge is active.

        Hi,

        The airtel portal which provides for recharge of prepaid numbers is not working from june 16 2020 onwards; it accepts the phone number, the recharge amount and then goes on a spin never to take to the payment options. This is happening even as i am writing this complaint. It says "loading please wait" it never comes out, it waits customer wait indefinitely.

        For recharging one need not go to other sites to recharge it should be made available in this (Corona age) 24 x 7.

        There is no place to register a complaint to rectify this on the site. Why not have an online chat when someone looks into the issue then and there.

        Disappointed with the response.

          Mobile internet services bill payment error

          I obtained this connection no: [protected] at the end of March 2020 at Airtel outlet in Chennai. I paid bill through reminder sent to by Airtel to my email.

          I have already paid the bill for May 2020 on 23rd May 2020, and the amount has been debited from my account.

          I received many messages from Airtel that I had not paid the bill for May 2020. Then I got a message stating on 6th June 2020 about disruption of...

          I had obtained an airtel postpaid connection at the end of march 2020. I pay the bill online. I had already paid the bill for may 2020 on 23rd may 2020, and the amount has been debited from my account.
          I received many messages from airtel that i had not paid the bill for may 2020. I sent several emails stating that the bill had been paid and the amount debited from my bank account. Then i got a message stating on 6th june 2020 about disruption of service, that the connection has been cut off for non-payment of dues.

          I registered a complaint with the nodal officer in chennai. I received a phone call at 11.30 am this morning from no. [protected] about my complaint. A person inquired whether i had paid last month's bill and the date of payment. I said i had paid the previous bill on[protected]. He then said that he will get back to me. I am now unable to get through to this number.

          However, i was shocked to receive this email this afternoon with last month's charges plus late payment charges and this month's bill totalling rs. 1295.64.

          I have been trying to contact airtel to register a complaint. Not possible at all. Most of their numbers don't work or there is no venue for registering a complaint. There is no response to mail messages either. I am trying to terminate the connection, with little success

              I have recharged my mobile number [[protected]] through net banking for rs. 598.00 on 12th june 2020 and received an sms with transaction reference [[protected]] and airtel1/del/prepaid txn#[[protected]igaitwllf7] of rs. 598. Bank transaction was also completed successfully but my mobile is not recharged. Till now i got no message regarding the recharge, although the amount has been debited from my bank account.

                        I recently subscribed to airtel fibre broadband service and my experience with them has been horrific to say the least. My internet connection has not been woeking since 7th of june and ever since i have trying to call their customer service but get no help. They keep saying that we have escalated but then nothing happens, i don't know what the problem is. I am not not able to work from home and fear for my job. Since i have already paid 6 months advance i am hesitant to cancel the connection.

                        I feel helpless and didn't expect that a leading company like airtel wil have such a substandard service.

                          Hello,
                          Sir the number which is being used by me was bought by my father and he had been died before few months due to any disease. So, now i wants to transfer the ownership of the sim it is important because it must be linked to the adhar card to link with that fingerprint is necessary for this linking but he had been died so we want to change the ownership so that it can be linked with adhar card and one more thing this sim card is 3g supportable so i want to make it 4g during this process the owner should be there but he had died so how he/she can be there so, plz take a response plz.

                            I have online recharged mobile number ( [protected] ) through my SBI debit card for Rs. 249 on 10th June 2020 and received an SMS with Transaction reference no. [[protected] ]. Bank transaction was also completed successfully but mobile no. is not recharged.Till now there is no message regarding the recharge, although the amount has been debited from my bank account.

                            Kindly refund the money as soon as possible and do the needful.

                                  From few months i’m getting the service of edge (E) in my airtel network. I’ve register the complaint on airtel on 26th of may’20 and from the date i’ve complained i’ve called them several times for the solution but as usual they say give us some time will we solve your issue as our technical team is working on it but till now there is no solution provided and between these days they have closed my case twice. I called them then they your case has been solved and closed. Without any information or solution they closed my case. Airtel series is getting worst day by day. I need the solution on this asap.

                                      My monthly bill comes out to rs 352.82 every month from many months.in feb 2020 also, my bill amount came to rs 352.82 which i duly paid.
                                      Now in march 2020 suddenly my bill amount came to be rs 562.70 ie an increase of rs. 209.88 ie rs 210. When i asked the reason for this increase to your customer reps they told me it is some extra charge they have put for installing a broadband modem. The reality though is that airtel never gave or sold me any modem. And yes your technician did come to my premises for installing the modem but he never installed it. So in short the technician and airtel, did not provide any service to us, nor did we buy any modem from airtel/your technician. Yet your technician demanded cash from me which i paid and also you have added an amount of rs 210 unnecessarily eventhough no goods or service was provided by airtel. And when i called customer care and complained to them regarding this wrong extra charge, they accepted it was a mistake and assured me that they would reduce this amount. But nothing like that happened. Hence i only paid my normal monthly charge of rs 353 only. I called many times to your customer care but they were then not ready to budge and refused to remove the extra, unnecessary charge which was levied in my bill. And now due to that extra rs 210 which was of march 2020 which i didn’t pay because it was wrongly charged, you all started to charge interest and penalty and late fee payment and fine on that unnecessarily.

                                      Also then you increased my monthly charge itself from rs 353 to rs 589 without asking me or even without providing me any extra services. Hence now i was wrongly charged rs 799 for april 2020 which had wrong charges of rs 210 of march 2020 (Regarding the never existent modem purchase and installation charges) and then you also wrongly increased my monthly charges by rs[protected]. And i again called customer care and told them about this issue but to no avail. Hence even for april 2020 i only paid my actual previous monthly charge of rs 353. Hence now due amount was rs 446 (Which was fully wrongly charged by airtel on me).
                                      Now again for may 2020 you wrongly charged rs 589 monthly charge due to which now due amount was rs 466+589 = rs 1035. Even after lots of calling and complaining and shouting and getting tortured and harassed by your customer care officials, these extra wrong charges were not waived off. But yet i decided that even this time i would pay my previous normal monthly charge of rs 353 as i am a good person and not dishonest and scrupulous like bharti airtel.
                                      And hence then my outstanding due amount stood at rs[protected] which is fully wrongly levied on my number. And now you are mailing me telling that if i don’t pay up these (Wrong) charges then they would cut my landline connection. And now post unlock 1.0 when i try to call your customer care no one picks up. The ivr initially says that very few people are working and then they tell us to wait till they connect us to an airtel customer care official. But no one gets connected even after 2 hours of keeping the call alive.
                                      And you all are mailing me and telling that my due amount is rs 1205 (I don’t know how you got that calculation the same has not been provided in mail, and june month is not yet over also). This is brazenly dacoitery and looting by airtel. Can you please elaborate to me the breakup of this final due amount of rs 1205 which it is said in mail if i don’t pay then my landline connection will be cancelled/cut.
                                      Pathetic and disgusting from airtel.in whole month of april and may 2020 i didn’t use your landline and broadband internet at all due to lockdowns imposed. Yet you all are charging me the monthly fee. Instead of waiving off my monthly fee for not using your services at all for 2 straight months, you instead have charged me extra monthly fee eventhough there was no usage. This is completely unacceptable and barbaric on your part. No one from your side calls me now. Completely unacceptable.
                                      Now you tell me what should i do? I am just a common customer against such a big corporation like yours.
                                      Hence i request you to please waive off my extra unnecessary charges levied by you as these are not correct charges.
