I have applied for conversion of my Prepaid sim to Postpaid via Airtel Thanks app on 23rd Feb 2020.

I got SMS from Airtel within few hours that my Postpaid connection has been activated.

But whenever I login to MyAirtel or check my account details on Airtel Thanks app, it shows my number as Prepaid.

Even Customer care IVR isn't accepting my number as valid Postpaid number.
I'm able to make Calls, SMS and use Data without any problems.
But I'm unable to see my account details and usage info or pay bills online as my number isn't being accepted as a valid Postpaid number.

I have called customer care and also visited Airtel office near my home many times, but there seems to be no clarity on the status of my account details updation.

All I get as a response is that my number has already been converted to Postpaid.

I mailed Nodal officer with abovementioned complaints but the issue hasn't been resolved yet. I just get a mail saying that my issue will be resolved soon.

I fail to understand what is the cause for so much delay..
Either solve my issue, else I'll happily port to other operators with better service.

I was called by customer care and enquired in detail about the issue, from that point on they asked for 48hrs time to solve the issue and it was solved..

    I have been facing issues with airtel bill payment. They provided an option named airtel home which is a collection of multiple accounts like mobile accounts, landline, broadband etc. They will generate a single bill with a discount of 10% for all those accounts and when we pay it as single amount it should be distubuted and paid accordingly for all the added acccounts. When i was paying them, instead of getting reflected for all the accounts, its getting paid only for few of them and the other accounts are getting additionally paid. If we pay individually for the nonpaid account, it is getting paid sometimes and is not getting paid again. This is not a single time issue. This is the 4th time where i am facing this issue. When we ask them, the way they answer is ridiculous. Also they will ask us to pay again by enabling some other option instead of adjusting between the accounts which are in airtel home (From the accounts which are already additionally paid). When we ask why, they answer saying that adjustment option is not available. They are not even properly checking the history of complaints and resolving them in future to avoid recurrence of the issue. This month the problem got again repeated and its the 4th time. Even the customer care team are not referring the history to understand the problem and resolve it asap.

      I am not getting otp from any sites. When i called customer care they are saying everything is fine from our side but in same handset and ther network i am able to receive the otps... Hence it is airtel issue and not handset or third party issue...
      I am unable to do my works or verify my account because of this please look into it urgently and resolve it.

      Quick response will be a big help

          I have recharged my airtel dth account with rs1104 on 12th of march but the recharge amount is not reflecting on that. Customer care are also not supporting properly, they are just saying that it will resolved tomorrow but literally not resolved yet.
          They are saying that it is a technical issue but i am not getting it.
          Please take strict action against them, it's a request.

            Hello team,

            I am not receiving sms on my airtel numbers :
            Prepaid : [protected]
            Postpaid : [protected]

            We have reached out to airtel customer case atleast 5 times with no result, they keep on forwarding the complaints to there network team.

            All my bank related activites have stopped because of this ignorant behavior and issue. Please help this is very urgent, i couldn't think of any other medium to raise the complaint.

              Respected sir
              With due respect that we are the residents of has installed some mobile tower house number - 636/2, paschim puri pocket 2 on their roof top. The said building not only is situated in a densely populated residential area, but also there is a school just nearly the said building. I suppose according to the mcd guidlines no tower can be erected in residential areas. Also as we all know that it causes very harmful effects on humans living nearby and on the guidelines of hon’ble delhi high court towers are not allowed at residential areas, it creates many diseases like cancer, and also affected the infant old people and specially for pregnant women. It’s radiation is very harmful for all. So please sir will take appropriate action and remove it as early as possible.

                Precautions to be take while traveling long distance esp with fast tags status
                1) always check if your fast tags are whitelisted or black listed before recharge or start your journey.
                2) keep checking your accounts connected to fast tags as they may deduct money any time even if you have not travelled.
                I am using airtel fast tag and i have experienced both in last few days with out intimation or information

                      My [protected] mobile no.was in idea paostpaid some time before i port my number in airtel . approx 1 month airtel gave me services and after that airtel block my no due to previous company outsatnding now i clear previous company outstanding but airtel does not resume my mobile number. so i want to know how can i resume my number in airtel.
                      M facing internet issue every day I called so many times to customer care but no responce three persons are using airtel sim same problm wts the matter resolve it as soon as possible Adress is Andhra pardesh dist nellore ery day same issue
                      I have recharged my digital TV on 6th March 2020 with monthly rental of 360 but when I on the tv it shows account suspended. I have called customer care 50 times still no point. They are saying server is down every time I call. Such a fake and useless service. Please help

                          Hi, i live in kandivali, mumbai. Have been using airtel for almost 10 years now. Since last 2 months - i am facing data connectivity issues at my residence. Have raised numerous complaints but to no avail. There are 2 airtel users at my home and we constantly dongle between airplane modes for ensuring data connectivity.                             I am user on airtel network from previous 8 years. From 4-5 days, i am facing a problem of disconnected call almost everytime. Why it so happen?
                            The problem has increased to such a level that neither incoming call is possible nor outgoing call is possible.

                              I have recharged my set top box id [protected] with rupees 300/- on 18.02.2020 for safe custody of one set top box id [protected] - 002 for 6 months and in another set top box i told them to recharge channel no 193 (Miniplex hd) and another channel no 235 (& xplore hd) for a month. Initially both the channel was active but after a week or so both the channel were showing message "this channel is not part of your package". Initially i lodge a complaint with customer care they assure me to get a call back within 24 hours but no call came to my registered mobile. On 09.03.2020 i again lodge the same complaint and they told me that it will be resolved within the next four hour. They didn't even provide any complaint number. Today i also made a complaint but the same thing happened. On previous several occasions they might deduct my account balance without informing me. But this i just have the proper details. As i'm presently having annual subscription till june 2020 so i don't want to switch providers it actually provides me certain loss of my hard earned money. Today i got the docket no after requesting for the same. The docket no is 22442393. I appeal you to penalise the company with minimum rs 1.00 lakh along with my annual subscription charges. They are cheating people and they provide me mental harrasment.

                                  Got a new sim from airtel express hassan
                                  Customer care executive dint care to ask my email and said number will be active within 15-20 mins
                                  As informed i called from new number which asked for otp sent to alternate number which i entered and ivr said phone will be activated in 4 hrs and call got disconnected
                                  I inserted that sim into agricultural mobile starter and left that place
                                  Now my sim is not active

                                    I have been using airtel prepaid connection about an year (Approx) which i was taken from a airtel executive who was selling at a roadside by porting from jio. Suddenly my sim card stopped working and started showing no service on 13/03/2020, so i went to an airtel store and reported the issue the was telling that this sim is registered as ‘ goverment ‘ and do not contain any of my information of the proof (Aadhar) which i was submitted...

                                    I have been used airtel for more than 10 years now for my mobile. Suddenly today i get a message that out going calls will be barred on this number. I have been paying all my bills on time. I have airtel for my landline at home and my wife also uses airtel.

                                    I called their support and they have taken a complaint and i am told it could take up to 8 days to resolve!!!

                                    So for the next 8 days i cannot make calls or receive calls.!!

                                      My mobile number [protected] got international roaming activated, without my consent. Now i have been charged rs.4498 + tax as one time charges. Further rs.470.20 as usage charges (In next bill).
                                      I made complaint about this and asked for waiver of the amount, through e-mail. There is a lengthy activity of mails and replies. But there is no solution for me. They are adamant about getting the amount paid by me.
                                      When i visited indian customer complaints forum, i saw so many people made the very same complaint and nobody got any remedy.
                                      It seems to be a regular practice by airtel and this is like pick pocketing from the customers.
                                      Can you guide me how to make this as a complaint to trai or can i get solution for this through consumer court.
