Airtel is cheating customers with the internet data consumption. Im using airtel from more than 12 years, all these years it was atleast ok except connectivity issues. Currently, i am using 30gb postpaid plan, monthly data usage was generally around 15gb all these days and i used to get data roll over every month. All of a sudden the data consumption shown from past two months is very unfair. They claim more than 30 gb data is used in 10 days! And 80+ gb in 2 months. It is highly impossible for a working professional to use so much mobile data in so less time as we barely get time daily. When i approached the customer care, instant answer was to upgrade to higher package plans, hence it is very clear that this data cheating is very common for them and the immediate solution they give is to buy additional pack/upgrade the plan. Seriously there should be some action taken against such day time robbery. I'm now forced to think of switching to jio or other alternatives.

    paid for broadband connection but didn't get the installation done

    I have paid 7780 to airtel broadband for new connection at my place, first they said it will take 48hrs for installation but its being 5 days no one came for the installation. Even after calling several times they giving false promises that it will be done in next few hours. I have asked for refund, after this much harassment they are saying that i need to call them again after 2 days to get a refund...

    Ever since i had the misfortune of recharging my data pack for my airtel number, i can no longer visit any site on the internet without getting redirected to one. Airtel.in. It has become something of a torture, for it has been close to 6-7 hours and it still keeps happening. Happens on both my phone and desktop browsers (Chrome, firefox and opera).
    I expect this to be resolved as soon as possible otherwise there's a storm coming your way.

      I am holder of mobile phone (Post paid) number with airtel.

      Last 1st oct 19, i lost my mobile phone along with simcard while travelling., and then immediately visited airtel office at coimbatore lakshmi mills... Waited for taking token 2 and the staff who attended my call was so lethargic and laughing with his colleague and did not attend properly. After a long struggle that fellow asked me to wait for a 24 hrs time. Myself waited until today (Ie) 5th oct, 19, it is yet to activated.. Myself have sent number of times mails, made phone calls nothing was happened so far. Also after my 1st visit on 1st oct, customer care staffs wanted to me to go airtel store again... Myself again visited on 4th oct,,, and till today it was not activated. Now when call to customer care,, again it is being asked to visit to airtel office and check... I have been put in to tremendous mental agony and unable to do any banking activities,, also unable to do any phone calls both incoming and outgoing... Very very awkward services are being provided by airtel...

        Mere pass pehle vodafone no. Tha mene vodafone s port kra ker airtel postpaid ka plan lia 749 ka port hone k bad jab start hua to mere ghar me airtel ka network zero. Na hi to calls recived ho pata hai. Na hi khi call lag pata hai. Mene iski complaint airtel office beawar ki fir ek network team ghar pe aai, unhone sab chek kiya to unhe bhi laga yaha pe zero hai networking. Networking team ne mujhe time diya ki 7 days me sahi hoga but kuch ni hua abi tak or ab kaha gaya jaldi ho jayega but jab tak mere calls nd all ki problems rehegi to kya matalb. Meri solution ni ho pa rhi, bhot pareshan ho rhe hai and 749 rupee ka har month waste ja rha h pls aap kuch help kr dijiye meri problem solve kr dijiye..

          I have recharged my phone number (Protected). Of amount 399. The amount has been debitted from the account and got added in wallet but every time i try to recharge only payment failed is happening. I tried to contact customer service but they are not replying to my mail. Having this much big company show some good gesture to your customer. I need to recharge my sim. But they are troubling there customer.

            Airtel is the worst mobile network because 1 recharge my phone with 3 month plan and unable to use mobile data because of speed the plan says you will recieve 4g data speed but the speed i get is not even 2g with this network even i can't check my snapchat stories play games it is the wrost mobile network now i am thinking toh port my airtel sim to jio. Whenever i want to play or watch my snapchat stories i have to take wifi from my father phone which has jio network and it is much much better than airtel.

              Airtel has a very poor network. I am frustrated while using the internet. The connection is very poor and buffers a lot. While working a very serious project in my office i am unable to use this network. The 1.5 gb offered to me finishes very quickly without being used. Refund back my data or give me some extra data otherwise i shall change my operator.

                I ported from vodafone to airtel on 1st october, but that day my incoming and outgoing calls are barred and am struck with this stupid network and having a huge loss in my business due to which many orders were cancelled. Contacted customer care lot of times and even sent mail to nodal officer but no reply or updates from them. Visited local customers centre too but they are not able help.
                Will airtel pay for my business loss? Can anyone suggest me the legal action to be taken against airtel to compensate my loss?
                Being a huge company they should atleast respond to mails. Just need customers for money nothing else.

                        Airtel's plans are too expensive for me!

                        Initially i tried porting out by sending sms to 1900, to which they said i must wait till month end as there are new cheaper plans getting released.

                        When i checked after the month, there are no new plans and currently they have:
                        - blocked my sms service so that i cannot send port to 1900.
                        - blocked calls to customercare so that i cannot raise a complaint. (All other calls are working fine)

                            Airtel — airtel is charging on postpaid bill 543212 not used or subscribed
                            Airtel mob no. [protected] being used by my dad who is 80 yrs, he is on a postpaid tariff plan of rs. 399.
                            My dad hardly makes 10 outgoing calls in a month, he is on a plan of rs. 399 supposed to be the lowest tariff plan, i had requested for a 199 plan few times, but i was told this is the least tariff plan, so except for receiving calls and making around max of 10 calls in a month he does not know or use any other service not even messaging service. For this i have been paying monthly around rs. 500 - 600 which itself is too much of an amount for the number of calls made.
                            But this month airtel has charged an additional rs. 360 for using the services of 543212 (The service of which was never used or subscribed by my dad). So after adding the above rs. 360 (Suspicious) charges and other call charges this month's total payable bill amount is rs. 1036.
                            Shocked on seeing the bill amount, i called airtel customer support 121 seeking clarification for rs. 360/-. The customer support executive told me, that the charges were for a voice call which was made to a helpline number 543212 for 1 hour, i told the executive it was not possible that it could have been used for 1 hr as my dad cannot hear properly and does not have patience to hold and talk on phone for 1 hr. After repeatedly trying to explain that it was not at all possible that the service was used or a call to that number made the executive bluntly said the amount was charged as it was used and hence the bill total of rs. 1036 must be paid on time, to avoid another rs. 100 late payment fee etc.
                            This is a serious issue, we have been loyal airtel customers for over a decade now still, it is so disappointing to be charged for something that was never used and is not at all acceptable.
                            I request through this letter, to consumer complaint forum that this issue be looked into and resolved in order for us to continue using the services of airtel and we be charged only for the services used and not otherwise. Any other details required to prove the case will provided if required.

                              My airtel dth client id is [protected]. My dth tv is showing error of "no signal due to bad weather", but the weather is clear and there is also no issue of wire connection. Dth customer care is saying that dish direction to be change and i am facing this problem second time. Company every year change the direction of its dish from backend and we will have to pay visiting charges every year for the movement of dish direction. Please look into the matter and help us to get the issue resolve.

                                We have took airtel corporate connection (50 numbers) just two month back, & we received sim cards it was working fine at head office, but when we distributed to our site person, they all were facing lot of issues in using those cards, our site person unable to get any call, no internet, no rang at all. Airtel sale person committed to us that he has done serve on all sites and there are proper range all over. This was the falsehood, we were continuously followed to airtel team for the same; they had visited our site twice, their site visit report says that there is some connectivity problem on sarita vaibhav site as well as, at our md’s residences. They installed 4g device but no used of that, they don’t have any other option to resolve our problem.
                                We hope you will understand our problems.

                                  I subscribed and utilised 1 day international roaming pack on 15th sep 2019 for rs.649. After that day, the pack got auto subscribed without any warning message and they charged 10000 as bill for the month, which is enormous. I never used even a second of the pack benefits after 15th september. Hence, it would be unjustifiable to charge such a huge amount, which will make customer losing trust on airtel.

                                  As per the terms and conditions, the charge should be started from the first usage. You are treating each day as a new pack and charging, then you should have considered the usage term in each day as well. Kindly remove such huge charges, which is unbearable for me to pay considering the genuinity of non usage.
                                  Pity thing is, 30 day pack will charge me 3500 and non usage for 13 days costed me 10000. Kindly resolve this.

                                    Hello... I ordered for new airtel broadband connection, selected 100mbps plan and paid installation fee. While installing they stated max speed is 24 mbps in our area which was a dealbreaker for me so i had to cancel the request. I was expecting a mail or text from them about confirmation but haven’t received any kind of that sort and i don’t know how to track my request.
                                    Please help in getting the refund

                                      Hi, i have been using airtel sim for more than 13 plus years. Since yesterday i'm unable to make or receive calls and messages although i have enough balance. My mobile number is [protected].

                                      Upon checking with the service team their answer was, as their are multiple numbers in use. They have blocked the running number and i have to forgo this number. As this is very absurd i asked them to check properly as this shouldn't be the case. They said that there is a document mismatch and i have to visit airtel store. Even though the issue is escalated to supervisor the answer is same.
                                      Call case ref no.[protected]

                                      Why is the number blocked all of a sudden. Airtel team should atleast inform the customer before blocking sim for no proper reason. I'm not sure if i would get this number back again for their mistake. Airtel services seems to be a head ache now for me.

                                      Please activate my sim and let me know what all you actually need.

                                      Hi Team,

                                      Is there any update on the above?.
                                      I visited airtel store to submit documents today to get my number reactivated.

                                      I was told that number is not in active status and this can't be activated unless I convert my prepaid sim to postpaid.
                                      For reconversion I need to pay atleast rs.499 per month for 4 months and then I can convert to prepaid .

                                      I asked them why this is made inactive. They said that this number is not in use because of no recharge.
                                      This is absolutely ridiculous. My number was barred by airtel team on Oct 2, 2019 or on Oct 1 2019.And I had balance of 23 days left out of 84 days plan

                                      As this is airtel team's blunder . I think airtel should rectify and reactivate . I don't understand how airtel team is forcing for postpaid conversation. This is unfair to involve customer in unnecessary expenditure. If I have to convert my sim to postpaid I need to spend additional 1400 rs in total {for four months.}. Airtel should not cost a customer's time and money for their mistake.
                                      I request airtel team to reactivate my number as prepaid and refund my 23 days balance.
