Recently airtel have changed their terms and condition, previously if your handset is damaged and if you claim for airtel secure insurance once the claim is approved you have to pay 10% of the repair cost i. E if the repair cost is ₹ 5000 you have to pay ₹ 500 as the excess charges, but as per recent change we have to pay 10% of the phone’s value (Value as per purchase invoice) i. E if the phone value is ₹ 65, 000 and repair cost is ₹ 6500 you have to pay ₹ 6500 as the excess charges.

In what sense it can be insurance as i am already paying insurance premium every month and pay almost half of the repair cost, instead, we can directly go to a service center and get it fixed at least it will be done in few hours.

Airtel secure started as a good feature but it is now doing fraud, they changed the terms and conditions into a very weird way where no insurance would think of.

This happened to me today when i told customer care executive that i didn't know the terms and condition change as when i read it a few months back terms was different and these kind of major change in terms and condition should have informed separately to its customers, when they release some offers they send 100’s for emails and sms, but not in these kinds of scenarios, as i am paying 4x of the excess charges than before, i told them that i need to cancel the claim process but they replied that it is not possible, even if they return, it will have more damage than before, finally i had to pay that complete money to get my phone back.

i checked with oneassist they told me insurance once the claim is approved you have to pay 5% of the insured amount. But Airtel secure take 10% of the sum assured.
Do not receive the channels as per your executive commitment at the time of registration. Also did not receive the promised shoes. Surprise.

    In travelled to USA however, got roaming activated for 3599/- that is fine. However, customer customer says that roaming for 3999/- was not deactivated. See the message received for both activating and deactivating. Kindly reverse 3999/ roaming charges asap. Have spoken to customer service but no response. Have mailed since 12/8/2019 but no response.       I am a customer of airtel for last 1 year. Since last 2 months i am facing internet issues, i am not getting the speed, even whatsapp messages can't be sent. I talked to your customer care but still problem isn't solved by them. I request you to look into the matter as soon as possible, otherwise i am going to change my operator or i will complaint against you in telecome consumer court.

        Pathetic service... Even tata docomo was was better than airtel. I went to mira rd airtel store on saturday 17 aug to mira rd store opposite to reliance petrol pump to switch over my sim. Got the sim and old sim was deactivated so i put the new sim and was detecting on phone i tried no trouble shootings no go. Then two days my number was not working. Then today i went to same store the lady check the and said the sim is faulty but can't change because tools are not working any store. Then i went to other store at golden nest she told me her systems are working. I already inform her sim card is faulty. She does not believe me and wanted to experiment and at last she wad ready to accept that the sim is faulty but she also can't replace the sim because she don't have sim available in the store... Airtel does not have sim available in the store. After waisting my 2 hours of time i m no were. Than the lady told me to visit the last store again and ask her to replace the sim. Well let me tell u activate my old card i switch over other service provider.

        I have complaint to Airtel multiple time however they suggest that they shall not be able to help me as they cannot stop them.

          I have wrongly made payment to airtel wifi account number [protected] instead of my account number [protected]. It is a matter of one digit and against the number, the name is not displayed as against by other providers while making the payment.

          This number says it is invalid. It has therefore not gone to any other account. I have made several complaints to airtel but there is no response from their side. It has happened due to typo error and can be easily reversed by airtel bank as that number is invalid.

          Please look into it.

          Airtel dth have provided an app although it is claimed that you can select your own channels. But the app do not support this. Customer is forced to select bundle provided by them. Even make your own bundle is not proper on 998. I tried twice, in one instance payment was done (offcours not yet refunded). Final transaction was not successful.
          My account has been block due to incorrect pin I forgot my no [protected] an am from Ghana .when I registered my account and wanted to do a transaction I typed the pin but it was an incorrect pin and my account was blocked for like a year please help me

              Day by day i am frustrated with your service i really fed with your customer care representative simply postponement of commitment is their duty.

              Again i called on 16th they told me problem will be solved before 18th aug 2019
              Today on 19th i called they are telling we working on that.
              Very very poor service and response

                    I am using airtel postpaid simcard and airtel postpaid hotspot wifi from last 5years after getting motivated by your impressive
                    Advertisement claiming best network. But from last 1.5 years i am not getting the signal inside my home so please do clear my issue and sometime no signal.

                    If you check my complain history, it's open since last 1.5 year and regularly i am complaining. Your cc exec. Regularly giving me false assurance that you people are working on it and never ever any field executive bother to visit my residence to resolve the signal issue. That is why i am force to convert my complain into words and i am sending my highly dissatisfied feedback through this mail with an expectation to get a solution / resolution as soon as possible.

                    I work from home and regularly i get calls and i need high speed internet to do my office work but this network issue is a great challenge for me.

                      My airtel number is [protected] i did two top ups with 10 rs each i didnt even call single number and airtel deducted all my recharge amount. This is strange to me i need to call two important calls so i did 10 rs each. When i tried to call that no it says balance zero. I never used thosed 14 rs after tax cuts still i was not able use those topups because airtel deducted. Well this condition i will switch to other network.

                        deactivation of airtel dth

                        Despite reporting several times that we have stopped using airtel dth and replaced it by tata sky, we have repeated calls as to why the dth has not yet been recharged. They have no formal procedure as to how the services can be deactivated. There are continuous calls for the same and they repeatedly ask the same questions... Disturbing during unwanted hours....

                        I have port-in from jio to airtel postpaid number, my jio stopped working yesterday after receiving confirmation message from jio and then i inserted airtel sim on my mobile and tried calling 59059 but call keep on disconnecting. I can't able to make any other calls and incoming calls also blocked.

                        Kindly resolve my issue and activate my number. I can't wait for too long.

                          I have visited airtel store to convert my prepaid number into postpaid i have done all the formalities there. They charged me 300 rupees and said me an agent will come to verify my address but now one has visited me. I have call the postpaid customer care... They surprised me that my address verification has been failed. But store persons still saying that an agent will visit me. Many days passed but no one visited me

                            After calling on 59059 and selecting language it is saying thank you for calling airtel and call is getting disconnected, it is happening since more than 11 hours, I am unable to receive calls and SMS, I called on 198 from alternate number but they are asking to wait for one more hour, this is so pathetic service

                              Now days airtel dth charging rs.150 for an engineer visit, even if there is no problem at our end.
                              And every month we are facing issue on average 150 per month expense added for dth engineer visit, plus loss of days for dth service in these visit.
                              Which also paid. For example
                              For 30 days payment, if any issue come 3 days service was lost, 150 paid for engineer visit. If you calculated for annually basis. 150*12= rs.1800
                              3 days lost in month= 3*12=36 days which make 1 month lost.
                              Overall rs.1800 and 1month lost (Which ipaid for services and couldnt get due to service failure).

                              I requested please look into this matter

                                Placed order on grofers on 9th august 2019. There was offer in payment option there... Get 150 rs flat cashback by payment through airtel payment mode on orders above rs. 1500..
                                I am registered kyc customer on airtel and paid for the 1st time through airtel payment method on grofers which makes me 100% eligible for receiving 150 rs flat cashback. Here they just gave me rs 5 as cashback.. Airtel is not responding in this case.. Grofers order and airtel promotion screenshots attached herewith..

                                  It has been over a month since i changed my airtel number from postpaid to prepaid. I still can't receive or make any calls from the number. It was working fine till i had postpaid. The moment i changed that, airtel stopped providing its services though i have cleared all its bills and recharged my number correctly. I have visited the airtel showroom four times already, and they haven't been able to fix this issue. Yesterday, they gave me a new sim, claiming this would solve the problem. It did not.

                                  I have had this number for a very long time now. It is registered as my official number in a few government institutions. I can't do without this number. Please help me recover it.

                                  The customer care executive at the Sarat Bose Road Airtel store was very helpful. He submitted a mail regarding my issue when I went there today. Within two hours, my connectivity was restored. Finally, I can use my number again.

                                    airtel sim is not working after port

                                    I received a message from airtel that my sim is ported please switch new sim and activate it but when i switch my sim then that sim is not getting a network. What to do now. Their customer representative told me to do recharge, i tried but recharge is also not happening. When i call the customer care they are also not helping me, i already lost many calls. Its irritating me. Pls, solve my issue asap....
