Iam from kerala. Today i activate a new airtel sim, at that time i get a call from customer care for verification. I accidently ask brother name instead of my name. Call from the verification centre behave me rude. I also anger to him. At last he said bad language in our mother tongue malayalam. I am shocked and dissatisfy of your customer care behaviour. If this complaint will not get satisfy reply, i will surely move to court.

    Dear sir/ madam,

    I have an airtel postpaid connection for my mobile number with the relationship number: [protected] where i had taken plan for rs 649/- per month with an add on number. Initially in the plan they were charging rs 199 for the add on number but subsequently the rs 649/- plan was revised about a year back to take in the add on number with no extra charges. Airtel failed to inform me that the plan has changed and continued to charge me rs 199/- extra per month for more than 12 months. I got to know that the plan has changed when one of my colleagues at work has informed me about the same. When i contacted airtel regarding the same, they admitted their mistake and agreed to revise the same in the future bills but refused to provide any compensation for the extra amount charged. However, even after their promise, i continue to be charged for the add on number for which i had to contact airtel again for the next 2 subsequent bills.

    In the 1st place i do not understand how airtel has charged me the excess of rs 250 per month for more than a year without informing a customer about the change in the plan. Upon pointing this out, airtel has refused to acknowledge the mistake and is not willing to provide any kind of recompense for the same. Mind you, due to this overcharging, i have paid more than rs 3000/- from my own pocket which is my hard earned money.

    And even upon informing airtel, the subsequent bills still continue to bear the same charges for which airtel is refusing to provide me a revised bill due to which i cannot claim my bill in my workplace which i am rightfully entitled to.

    I am tired of discussing this issue with airtel again & again & with airtel promising me everytime that the issue will be resolved which is not happening. All my discussions with their customer service representatives & mails to [protected]@in. Airtel.com/ nodal officer has not provided any kind of resolution due to which i am escalating this matter. I will consider my matter to be resolved only if:
    1) airtel will provide some kind of recompense for the extra rs 3000/- i have paid over the past 12 months.
    2) i am provided with fresh bills for the bills dated 9th april & 18th april with only the correct charges.

      Since i was travelling to jordan, israel and egypt from the 15th to 27th march 2019, i had requested airtel on 14th march 2019 for activation of international roaming packs for rs 3999/- for zone "b" for 30 days and rs 649/- for zone "c" for 1 day. I received a confirmation from airtel on 14th march 2019 confirming the same. However, airtel arbitrarily decided to charge rs 649/- for an additional period of 5 days without my written or verbal consent. After much persuasion, my bill amount was brought down to rs 9800/-
      Thereafter, when i sent a mail to the airtel nodal officer and appellate authority on 18th april 2019. I received a reply from the nodal officer on 23 april 2019 stating that the total charges as per usage in international roaming (In the absence of special packs) amounts to rs 551306/ (Rupees five lacs fifty one thousand three hundred six). This is quite absurd on the part of the nodal officer of airtel to make such a silly statement. This clearly proves that the nodal officer is ignorant and highly incompetent to handle such matters.
      I wish to state that the arbitrary decision on the part of airtel to charge rs 649/- for additional five days amounts to harassment, cheating and extortion.
      Request you to kindly look into the matter and do the needful.

          I am using telenor sim for last three years. I do not facing major problem but after airtel and telenor network merger, i am facing problems with the network of telenor, sometimes internet speed goes down to 1kbps and also i was calling to customer care but they doesn't help me or satisfied me anymore and i also realize that airtel network strength and telenor network strength is different. So, please help me to fight against airtel.

            number does not exist after porting to airtel

It got activated on 21 April 2019 and surprisingly people who were calling me were getting a message that the "number does not exist" or please check the number you have dialed ". I had raised a complaint with airtel and haven't received any proper response about the solution even after 5 days now. I keep emailing Airtel support teams and all they say is that all services are active...

            I have been using this number [protected] fro m last 6 years
            And suddenly from last 2 weeks i have been blocked from receiving sms related to any otp and transaction alerts

            Earlier i never encountered such issue

            I am receiving dnd related like marketing sms but unlike earlier all otp stopped coming

            Please note that i am unable to transfer money to any one because of this issue
            Also unable to pay my credit card bill due to the same otp issue
            I also did my recharge regularly

              From the past two months, i am not able to watch airtel dth channels, i don't the reason but when i asked for a reason they were saying due to server issue, we could not retrieve details and somebody from the same team saying that we have returned your money but as of today i haven't received any communication. Kindly request you to solve my issue i have rs: 3500 balance in my account now it is in negative.

                Hi,

                There have been two fraudulent transactions by airtel money using my debit card on april 17th 2019 for rs 8998/- and rs 8990/- respectively. I live in bangalore, india while the transaction record says airtel money, mumbai. Please help and fix this. Please provide us a refund for this fraud transactions.

                I can provide more details about the individual transactions to the concerned authorities.

                    Dear airtel team,

                    My airtel connection number is [protected]. Today i had filed complaint for my dish tv not working. They assigned a guy called as paparao for handling it. They guy came and tried fixing the problem but couldn't repair. He said after seeing a meter that it will work and charged rs150 from me. I told him still it's red light so it's not working but he assured me it would work and went away. Since then i am trying to reach him he is disconnecting my call and is not responding. I have again put complaint to airtel customer care but no update from them till now.

                    Is this how your people cheat us? Pathetic... I will definitely put this in consumer forums. You are suppose to take action against them immediately.

                      Hi i tried calling a number from my airtel sim card and failed, it says the number you have dialed is incorrect, where the same number is callable from other sim cards
                      It says the number you have dialed is incorrect,

                      I had tried calling it by adding zero or removing +91 in an attempt to have a trial and error run
                      But nothing happened

                      I am able to make calls on it via other number
                      The number is currently in use, i think it is problem of sim card as the same problem repeated after i changed my handset and put that sim in other handset ajd tried calling that earlier number, which again responded

                        I am using airtel connection since last 10 years and have international roaming active on myself no, where i pay 149 rs monthly rental for these services every month, weather i travel abroad or not. If i travel abroad and use my phone then standard roaming rates are applied over and above these monthly charges.

                        This jan i travelled to dubai and got 10 days pack also activated where 3500 rs were charged from me.

                        To my surprise air tell charged this money again in month of march as i travelled to saudi arabia for 1 day, saying that this is one of our pre condition that we would charge this automatically till the time you don't get it cancelled.

                        I feel cheated as this condition is totally operator friendly and not a fair condition.

                          I have ported my no. From jio to airtel and i've also inserted new sim but verification call to 59059 is not connecting. Every time i try to call at 59059 it automatically disconnects and when it connects it asks to switch off the phone after 30 minutes and does not ask about the tele verification. Also i'm unable to receive incoming calls to my number, and recharge my number. Moreover signals are coming but still the activation is pending.

                            I m regular user of airtel. My recent mobile number is [protected]. My name is patel dharmesh bhai. Before 2 days my mobile number is suddenly stop till now.                                   As per my airtel offers same in my airtel app, the international roaming pack of 296, currently i am stay at Nigeria but after recharge, there is no incoming and out going, i was contact through customer care, they said in Nigeria that package not valid, how cheat me, then why u given offer, with in 15 min i was contact customer care, asking one day pack or refund, but there is no options

                                      We are facing the problem more than one month in our dth connection. Airtel service provider remove the channels without any intimation. According to airtel representative, kindly select the channels those you want to run. I selected and recharged but amount deducted from my account and channels not run on the customer id: [protected].

                                      I already submitted the complaint to high authority and written communication done with concern team.

                                      I request kindly resolve my query. They are taking the high charge and not giving proper service or response.

                                      Without any intimation, they remove the channels and stop the service while balance is available.

                                      Airtel customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.
                                      Bill dated 27-3-19 of rs 1453/- sent by airtel.
                                      The bill included rs 800/-towards netflix collection.
                                      Netflix subscription cancelled last month.
                                      Than too billing shows netflix charges.
                                      Mobile services payment of rs 653/ done
                                      than too repeatedly disruption of services and forcing the customer to pay .
                                      As i try to call 59059 for tele-verification the mobile network vanishes and i am unable to call for tele-verification..

                                      I tried recharging my number twice through my airtel app and although the amount was deducted both the times from my bank account with transaction id, I did not get any recharge
                                      I'm an airtel user for a long time.This complaint is regarding poor network speed in chrompet, chennai city and nearby areas. Your network is well appreciated in other areas.
                                      I would like to request if you kindly look into matter.
