Ever since i had the misfortune of recharging my data pack for my airtel number, i can no longer visit any site on the internet without getting redirected to one. Airtel.in. It has become something of a torture, for it has been close to 6-7 hours and it still keeps happening. Happens on both my phone and desktop browsers (Chrome, firefox and opera).

I have reset all my browsers twice, changed and reset my apn data, cleared browser cookies, restarted my mobile 10+ times, swapped sim slots. Nothing. No matter what url i type in my browser, it'll automatically change the url to one. Airtel.in and redirect every site traffic.
It is a big shame that airtel spams their customers with this [censored]bag of a site especially after a fresh recharge. What if i had an exam form to fill online? Would airtel be responsible if i could not fill up an application and passed the deadline just because airtel decided to redirect every single url to one. Airtel.in for more than 10 hours?

I know my pc or browsers are perfectly okay because my i can browse the net normally with my jio number as hotspot. The problem starts the moment i change my hotspot to airtel number in my dual sim smartphone.
I expect this to be resolved as soon as possible otherwise there's a storm coming your way.

    I have given request for disconnection of Airtel DTH permanently from last 1st Feb 2019. I am continuously getting call from them and ask for the reason after that no response.
    When I called Airtel customer care, Rs 320 was the balance in DTH.

D no[protected] but till now my t v is not showing any channels and only showing an error code of-06, since morning i have lodged four time complain but no steps / action was taken by the company to activate due to which we faced huge damages by way of mental tension and harassment, you are requested to activate my tv immediately, failing which suitable action will be taken against your company for such damages, please reply / inform me immediately in my registered mobile number, thanks, r.         The saga with airtel dth started when we shifted our home in the middle of jan. We realized that we needed a new set top box. So we raised a request for a new one. The cost was said to be 850 and we agreed. This request was raised on 2nd feb. Every day morning for the next three days we get a call asking us to explain the issue, address etc. Finally on the third day the service center says they dont have stock of the stb and will be fixed by the weekend. How can an stb go out of stock?! Anyway we waited patiently.
        Then a "new" stb was brought in. Things seemed to work momentarily, only to nose dive again. Whatever was working also stopped! The guy took 850 rs and vanished. The stb went dead.in spite of repeated calls, etc nothing seems to be moving. We dont have a connection and there is no service. Nothing.
        Airtel have made it extremely difficult to also escalate. Their website sucks and their phone support is horroble - every time i need to wait for at least 20 mins.
        I just need to get a refund and would like to go to a different subscriber. This company is pathetic! They seem to go from bad to worse!!

          We have requested for cancellation of secondary set top box, & it dint happen for year from october 2017 till october 2018, after numerous calls they took the box, however we have been charged for the secondary box, though we placed it for cancellation and the box was idle.

          Need immediate action for refund within 16th feb'2019, or will take this as reference for further legal action.

            This is in reference to our airtel relationship number [protected].

            This is to inform you airtel that you people are not able to solve our problem which i’m facing from past 3 months, again and again i have to communicate local airtel executive, but still now we didn’t get proper solution from your side.

            Last two months before we are requested 12 voices disconnect and plan change but, your side disconnected only one number from our list on this month.

            We were surprised to see you have again charged rs.2499 plan but, it has been changed rs.999 plan, but we still pay old plan so, your people aren't updating prior plan details, we need proper plan details for this year.

            And another surprise is we have 40 cug voice & 8 internet dongle connection and but month on month we paid rs. 44, 000/- (I was checked same in another network the bill value is max. Rs. 22, 000/- so, we are paying to airtel more than 50% of excess amount).

            Kindly make change bill period of our preference.

            Also, wave of our bill without that 12 no’s (Bill no.[protected].

            If airtel can’t solve our problem within a week, then stop our services for this relationship number ([protected]) permanently and we change (Port) another network because already it’s been 90 days (Two month) we paid amount.

            Then we below attached mails we sent regarding deactivation and plan change request

            And we are planning to move the airtel broadband connection, but not satisfy with your customer support so,....

            So please change my basis plan Rs.154/-monthly with 100 free channels.

                I paid rs 448 recharge for mobile [protected] by myapp airtel and it deducted rs.50 and charged me rs.399. But to my surprise it supplied me 1 gb data instead of 1.5 gb per day. I made complaints after complaints ref no. Cbnrd[protected] and many more such complaint references. Airtel customer services people contacted me and informed that they cannot do anything because the prepaid recharge was booked as 399 plan for 84 days. It is not my fault and i tapped in myapp only for rs.448 plan and it showed discount of rs.50. Moreover this same plan i am continuing for previous periods as well. Airtel did nothing but arguing for no fault of mine.
                It is a small matter and airtel could be magnanimous in settling the issue. Now i am penalised for the software problems of airtel.

                Whenever I am calling with my Airtel Sim I am getting all lines are busy .also there is one more problem I am facing with my Airtel number that I gets call ended immediately after trying to call someone.
                I am parmod i have an airtel dth account [protected] in which i make my own plan but airtel didnt pick the call or no change in my current pack i am very disappointed from airtel service i am frustrated now .

                    Fisrt issue:
                    As per the new rule, i have selected few kannada channels, and the total cost of my selected channels is rs.29/-. I have rechareged for for rs.180/- on 2nd feb 2019.
                    You are not providing the channels selected by me, instead you are broadcasted unwanted channels for 2 days. And now you stopped it completely.
                    Second issue :
                    None of your customer care number are useful.
                    And i want to change the registered mobile number, how do i do it?
                    I am not using the old number, so i want to change the mobile number registered with my digital tv id.
                    I tried all methods, it takes a lot of time to describe all of them here.
                    You are not respecting the customer time and money.
                    His is trurely unethical business. Shame on you airtel.

                    I must thank all the members of Consumer Complaints group. Before Coming to Consumer complaints, i was really frustrated because Airtel's customer care services are very very very BAD. following methods i tried before coming to Consumer complaints. 1. customer care numbers 2. visiting Airtel's service centers. 3. writing email, i wrote emails from my gmail ID, it was bouncing back. because Airtel has blocked incoming emails from gmail ( my assumption) 4. sending SMS Today Airtel executive called me and he has resolved my problems. (Actually, i have to go home and check. I am writing these comments before verifying . I am just going by the promise of telephonic conversation with Airtel's executive) I hope things are fine.                       How dare airtel stop incoming calls for a prepaid number when there is validity till 2037. Airtel is harassing it's customers to get a minimum recharge of rs.169 to get back incoming services. Where on earth is there a rule that u can block incoming calls for a prepaid number which is active.
                      I will definitely lodge a complaint in the consumer court. I will sue this bloody company. Exploiting customers has become a game for you companies. Your network horrible. Never could i use the data due to very poor connectivity. I will sue you guys in court.

                      I have been downloading movie from net by 11: 52 and when it reached 12: 02 i was checking my data balance it showing that I'm consumed 302 mb of my data I need an explanation could able to explain me?

                        This is to informing you that my customer id [[protected]] airtel digital tv. I submitted complaint in airtel two times on 11/02/19 and 12/02/19 for wrong balance deduction of appx rs.100 and due to this, they suspended my account on 13/02/19. Then i recharge my account to continue and now on 14/02/19, they again deducted balance of appx.23 from my balance. My package selected was of rs.265/month and operator is deducting more. Please check this and resolved this problem as early as possible.

                        We are not required the above said HD channels Nos 752, 755, 757, 759 for our south pack. kindly deactivate the channel nos from our channels
                        Internet speed very slow nevertheless having full tower signal and 4G plan.
                        Mere number par 4G pack (1Gb/day) activate hai. Lekin internet speed 3KBPS hai. Or kabhi to site hi open nahi hoti hai. Main 5-6 bar complain kar chuka hu. Lekin koi fark nahi pada. Or mera pack expired hone ja raha. Airtel walo ne mere sath cheating ki hai. Plz do something. And Refund my 169 rs.

                          1. I selected channels as per trai guidelines and sent it to airtel digitial for their confirmation on 9th february 2019, through sms, but till date i have not heard any thing from airtel as a result i can not view the channels as per my choice.
                          2. Further the deadline for selection of channels has been extended upto 31st march 2019 and i recharge my dth for one more month on[protected] but sorry to inform that the previous channel are not being made available to me despite fact that the option to select channels has been extended.
                          Kindly look into the matter and direct the airtel authority to redress my grievances without further delay.

                            Sir main jab costmer care ko call kiya to mujhe bole ki aap 153 ke recharge kar ne ke bad apne Tv se 998 channel per jaye uses apna jo channel chahiee to select kare uske bad apne ragister mobile se QR code sent kiji to phir mujhe ek number deya 54325 per bheje main uses number per QR code sent nahi ho ra he.                                 I had purchased my samsung c 7 pro on 30 march 2017 on which i had been using airtel secure plan later in sep 2017 i purchased c 9 pro but updated the details on airtel secure on dec 2018.

                                Company had accepted my subscription on 25 dec 2018. And activated the same

                                I met with an accident in jan and my phone broke down
                                When i submited the claim for c 9 pro repair they had rejected my claim stating the device is older than one year.

                                Q1 when i had updated my details on 22 dec on airtel secure aap with all the invoice and bills and phones image they had activeted my subscription even the phone was more than one year old as per invoice and started charging me for the same on my bill.

                                When i sumited the claim for repair they rejected it

                                How can my subsciprtion get active if the policy says phone should be less than one year old.

                                Airtel company is at fault and now they are not accepting it hence i am planning go legal against the comapny polices and the management responsible for airtel secure app.

                                  1. My dth service is suspended showing low account balance on13/2/19 without informing me.
                                  2. Imidiately on 13/2/19 i recharge my account with rs. 175 through airtel money, transaction id [protected]
                                  3. Then i send sms to refresh my account and also tried to contact customer care several times but customer care is not available.
                                  4. Airtel digital tv stop its customer care service for several days.
                                  5. On 7/2/19 my account balance shows rs. 108. On 13/2/19 my account balance shows rs. 175 (After recharg)
                                  6. Three days gone by still my service is suspended.

                                      After the new notification by trai we have chosen the channels from airtel.in/selfcare. But since then we are unable to watch the selected channels of our choice, they are automatically removing some channels of our choice. We have paid rs. 250 for the subscription on 3 feb 2019. We have mailed the same to airtel costumer complaint and even since then we have been trying to call the below and other costumer care numbers but no one picks up [protected].
                                      We are helpless now.
