Sir,
My name is gowtham from kerala. I'm a customer of airtel dth (No: [protected]) as per trai i selected my own channels through tv channel no: 998 on jan 31st. But the channel's are not activated till 08.02.2019. I called customer care 5 times all times they told me to wait 24 hours. And also they suggest to activate their packages its more than my package amount. I'm attached the sms details with this complaint. Please do needfully.
Airtel customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.
As per trai guidelines
My dth operator is not changing my pack, they are also not receiving any calls or disconnect call

    Hi,

    Recently i purchased an airtel 4g hotspot device with a plan for 6 months @ 3600. For that i submitted a form online through airtel website, i received the call from the customer care the following day and they scheduled a document verification meeting at my home. The airtel agent came to my house and got all the verification done from the airtel mobile application. He took 3600rs in cash and gave me the 4g hotspot device with

    My phone number is: 91756xxxxx
    I got an sms to pay the bill for 4453rs, you can check the logs for the sim, i have only used it for internet services. I would be a fool to use it without a plan.
    Airtel customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.
    My money got deducted from my bank account but my bill is still due of Rs 944 and transaction failed kindly resolve this issue asap. I am not able to contact with Airtel for my money transaction so solve this and try to refund my money.

        I am an airtel post paid customer and as per plan there was free subscription to airtel secure which i took it as i believed it will protect my phone for any physical damage at less cost as any insurance cover for my oneplus 5 phone bought in july/aug 2017

        Recently when my phone screen got damaged, i chose to raise a claim and submitted all the required documents like invoice copy, photo of damaged phone, imei number etc and the claim no was raised sr # 3939121 submitted on 1/02/2019

        After going through stages like document submission - validating documents - screening - handset pickup and the cost was estimated to
        Rs 6870 on 6/02/2019
        But on 07/02/2019, i got a mail from [protected]@airtel. Oneassist.in

        With reference to your sr # 3939121, we are yet to receive the excess charges payment of rs.2500.0/- under the plan obtained by you.

        On checking with customer care, i have been informed that the 10% excess amount calculated is on the so called coverage amount which is equal to the cost of handset, which is absurd considering that you are charging based on the cost of the handset and not on the cost of repair.

        Also please view the following video posted by airtel on youtube around 2017, which clearly mentions that the excess amount to be paid by customer is only 10% of the cost of repair.

        But when i called customer care they where referring to the following site

        Which i don't know when was it updated.

        This is really frustrating as much as misleading customer on their service

        Please help in resolving this issue with airtel team

          I selected a hd pack through ala carte of my choice before 29th of january but since 2 days i am not getting any hd channels on my airtel dth when i call the customer service they say it’ll be activated in 4hrs it’s due to some technical difficulties while they keep on deducting amount from my balance without showing any hd channels since two days at least they should show the channels and charge the amount

            I have been wrongfully been stripped of many of the channels i have already paid for and my calls and mails are not being answered.
            I am an existing customer of airtel digital tv (Id: [protected]), with the registered mob: [protected]. I have two connections on the same number (Id: [protected]-001 and [protected]-002). For the primary, i already had an existing connection for 1 year of hd+sd channels of rs.5999 valid till 7th oct, 2019.
            Now for [protected]-001 as per government and trai regulation on new tariff packs, i was sent a link, where airtel suggested a pack for me at rs.699/month which was the closest to my existing pack and i approved it. Even got a reference id after approval (Ref id : 316864)

            For the second connection, [protected]-002, i tried to select my pack directly from channel 998
            As told by their representative but was later told the connection was suspended. I was also asked to make a recharge of rs. 200 to re-activate which i did and some of the channels started showing.

            But suddenly many of the channels that i paid for and selected for the connection [protected]-001 were stopped which is strange as i have already paid and selected the packs. I have been mailing them and calling their helpline frantically but their is no reply. Cannot watch half the channels i paid for even after selecting a pack for rs. 699/month valid till october 7th, 2019. As per new trai guidelines.
            Also i have no idea what to do for the secondary connection.

            I need a proper resolution and explanation on this.

              I have been trying to contact customer care about the cashback coupons i have received earlier. But there is no response from them. I lost all my cashback coupons i have received for recharging my mobile number with rs.399 plan. When i asked them they are saying that we dont know about it and our plans have been changed and they cut the call saying thankyou. Now i have lost my rs.400 coupons which have validity till 31 march 2020.

                My airtel dth service stopped suddenly and it's been 4 days and i didn't hear anything from them. I've already selected the expensive (Which they said it will reduce monthly bills) trai subscriptions but still, my channels are not working. I've tried calling the customer care for at least 50 times and it was a total waste of my time, i even tried emailing them but i didn't get any response. Daily my balance is getting reduced and they don't care.

                  I amit shukla (Airtel dth customer id:[protected]) have changed my plan on 05.02.2019 through their qr code as received: tvchg dtgjgrbz frosnpv61 fd8v9v71 tj2g3o82 g6og92 enra1 gkoge2, i have received the message that thanks for selecting new pack on airtel digital tv, we have received your request and after changing the plan airtel has discontinue my services and not restored till now (Dated:08.02.2019).
                  I brought to your notice that i am daily perusing through their call center twice in a day, but they are telling that our server is down so i am unable to restore your plan. Sometimes they told that they will restored your previous plan.
                  Today again i tried to restore our dth service through their call center they are telling that you again book your complain and telling it will take some more days and can’t specify the day when your service will restore.
                  So i request you kindly do some needful action against airtel dth service provider so that numbers of customers (Like me) can not be harass by them.
                  Your early action in this regard is solicited.

                    Hi, i had applied for an airtel broadband connection, paid for the installation with 3 months package. I was told that the feasibility is there in my society but eventually when the executives came the connections couldnot be made. I asked for the refund, the sales exec told me it will be done automatically since the connection was not made. I have been waiting for this to happen for 2 days, but so far no movement or confirmation from anyone.

                    Please have a look and confirm the refund status. I did not get a connection so dont have an account number for it. But i have the caf number which i am refering below.

                      Customer id: [protected] as per the recent change in channels subscription, i have subscribed to certain channels on january 28th, which was promised to be activated from 1st february. The new scheme was not activated on 1st february. Hence, i made new request 337284 on february 1st, which was promised to be activated within 48 hours but not. On february 7th, my connection has been changed but not to the channels i requested. The channels i requested cost rs.417 per month. But i am charged rs.4200 per month or a whopping rs.130+ a day! Please resolve this, 1) by restoring the channels i requested, 2) by refunding the excess money that was charged at rs.135 per day from 7th february, and 3) by charging nominal monthly fee for the boutique packages i requested.                         Since the new trai regulation, im not able to view any paid channels in my set top box even though i have sufficient balance in my account and also i changed my package on 31st january. Airtel is deducting by balance everyday but not providing me the channels. Whenever im calling them to complain, they are refusing to help and saying there services are temporarily down. Please help!

                          I have a long pack of 11month +1 month which is expiring on june 2019.
                          As per new rule of trai i opt for a pack designed by operator.
                          Which is value sports rs 360.

                          But on evening of 07.02.2019 all chennels are blocked.

                            I am trying since past two weeks to recharge my cell phone ([protected]) of amount rs 500 (Talktime only) from airtel app and websites. On doing so an automatic coupon of rs 50 is applied making the recharge of rs 450 which i am unable to modify.
                            I tried doing so 3 times in past 2 weeks and every time i do so my credit card is charged of amount rs 450 but my mobile doesn't reflects that balance and then i get a message of transaction failed.
                            I have many grievances with airtel:
                            1) if rs 450 is an invalid recharge amount why does airtel apply a rs 50 coupon on my rs 500 recharge and make it un-workable all the time
                            2) amount is deducted immediately but its not refunded immediately and it takes 7 to 10 days for airtel to refund it.
                            3) i needed that talktime to make important calls internationally but unfortunately because of airtel i have lost on them and airtel has made me to suffer
                            4) airtel's customer service representatives are the worst, they only have standard answers with no solution and in fact they are one of the reasons that customers want to leave airtel
                            To conclude, airtel is the market leader with one of the worst team, app and websites and it is full unethical and immoral practices which makes its customers to lose on their personal as well business because of their mismanagement, misbehaved team and poor services

                              I am staying in plot no - 1595, lane 1, lake valley, bhaktamadhu nagar, khandagiri, bhubaneswar, odisha.
                              The internet speed is very poor over. It feels extremely irritated. Forget about downloading.. Browsing is a very difficult task in mobile. If you are using a laptop then.. Buddy you are gone.. To browse one page you may take 10 mins if you are lucky.. Otherwise.. You only see the error page in browser.

                              Terribly slow network. Spped is 5/10 kbps here

                                I am not able to receive any sms or send any sms from my airtel number since last 20 days. I am on international roaming at dhaka-bangladesh & had activated ir. It was working fine but now i cannot even update whatsapp as the verification code is not being delivered. So is the case with all my banking otps etc.

                                This is really harassment & bad customer service as numerous complaints have been lodged by me but the cs team is so stupid that they log the details as unable to reach customer when actually that very is the complaint i have registered that my number is unreachable

                                  The internet speed is very poor over. It feels extremely irritated. Forget about downloading.. Browsing is a very difficult task in mobile. If you are using a laptop then.. Buddy you are gone.. To browse one page you may take 10 mins if you are lucky.. Otherwise.. You only see the error page in browser.

                                    Hi,

                                    I returned an airtel sim card provided by my company in september 2018 before travelling out of india. The number was [protected]. I have a confirmation from my company that it was deactivated in september 2018 itself. Please note that it was a company provided sim and had no link to my personal bank account. After 4 months i see that airtel has sent a bill for some 3 lakhs rupees to my personal hdfc bank account bill payment. This is extremely unbelievable, unexpected and unacceptable. Where did they get my bank details? How is it directly going to the bank account bypassing my official email address and personal email address? Isn't it fraud? I don't know how many more such customers have been harassed like this. I want airtel to investigate this thoroughly and get back to me with the details at the earliest. I also want to take it to the notice of relevant authorities to ensure airtel is made accountable for this unethical act. Please advise. Thanks.

                                      I port my bsnl sim to airtel on 30 january 2019. After 8 days my old bsnl sim stop working and when i insert new airtel sim the network are not available.. My bsnl no. Are linked with all my bank account and in college. I didnt getting anh notification about bank and college because network are not available.. Pls start my sim.. Its very important for me
                                      As in photo u can see there are no network in second sim..

                                        I am Airtel DTH customer since 2010
                                        I recharged long duration (one year) pack before new guideline on November 2018.
                                        After new rules I selected my channels around Rs. 280/- per month.
                                        thereafter Airtel customer care confirmed me that your new plan will activate after end of current plan.
                                        but today Airtel activated unwanted pack, with cost of Rs. 2653.53/- per month.
                                        after that I am trying to contact Airtel customer care but no ones pick the call.
