Dear sir,
Recently i have received message that if i have not recharge my airtel mobile number, the service will be stopped and the some amount will be also deducted from main account.

If balance is available what is requirement of recharge our numbers every month. It is totally unfair rules.

It is kindly requested to take a necessary action against the telecom company and give favourable decision to huge numbers of mobile consumers.

    Sir/madam,
    I recharged mistakenly for the amount of rs.159/- on 13.12.18 this offer actually not available for my number and available offer is rs.149/- where i get benefitted for 1gb/day +unlimited calls for 28 days. But for rs159 i got only unlimited calls+ totally 1 gb that also valid for 21 days. When i contacted them for about 3 to 4 times but no proper response. Is it right that if i pay extra i get penalty? Refund my money as this is totally cheating.

    No response till now.even I contacted them since Internet is not working. They asked me to restart mobile phone and try.i tried the same way they told but also not working. Other time I contacted them and told all these. Now they are asking me to visit their airtel showroom. Is this the way you could treat your customer?I was not able to send a single mail because of them and so I was not able to do my job today.pls take immediate action as it could affect my work.Reference no.C4GSP[protected], RSEWK[protected].

    I contacted customer care today but they ask me to recharge again to access Internet.when I check the data balance it shows 1024mb available. Here is a screenshot of it.

      I have changed my sim from 3g to 4g on 14th oct 2018 from tat day i couldn't able to send sms. I called customer care multiple times but they from their end everything looks gd. Sometimes they told me to change sms centre no. That also i have changed but still no luck. I am using this no. From 2012. As i am unable to send sms frm my no. I couldn't use any other apps in mble properly. Please resolve this issue as soon as possible

        I had been using my sim for many years. Suddenly from yesterday i am not able to call or receive calls using the sim. I tried assume other sim in my phone and it's working. So it's something wrong with my sim. I am not able to use data also from last 2, days.

        This had been causing lot of inconveniences since this is my primary contact number.

        Please resolve asap.

          I changed my internet 4g lte service plan, for the number [protected] around 25th sep 2018. After which my internet stopped working. I went to airtel gallery in vishrantwadi, pune. After several visits, my internet was still not working, post which i was asked to change the sim card. Even after replacement of sim card (Number [protected]) on 8th oct 2018, my internet services were not working.

          So on 13th of oct 2018, i asked the gallery person to provide me with a new connection for the internet and close the previous connection, which was [protected].

          I was provided with a new connection and a number for the same is [protected] and was assured that the previous connection has been closed.

          However, i am still getting bills on my mail for the number which i had asked to be disconnected.

          Need help to resolve this issue.

            I have an habit of watching animes and movies which is mostly supported by rapidvideo site. Recently you are not supporting that site and i'm not at all satisfied by your recent actions. I am using your services through sim. If you want to block any websites please make sure that customer view. So please consider this complainent and i believe by solving these customer including me get satisfied. Because others service providers like jio are not blocking these type of websites.

              I have subscribed for monthly rental of rs. 477 per months, airtel digital tv service provider changed my automatically without any information to rs702. I have lodged complaint in customer care of airtel digital tv. They closed the complaint without any information. When i contact them they told you have subscribed for rs 702. Monthly rental since beginning.

                On 13th december 2018, i had initiated the process from changing by 3g sim into 4g sim. After 12 hours, 3g sim got deactivated and i switched to 4g sim. Internet and calls are possible but the 4g sim has still not been activated since i havent been able to send or receive any sort of sms.
                Please resolve this as quickly as possible.

                  I lost my phone moto g yesterday along with airtel sim number [protected].
                  Number is registered under the name preeti painuly..
                  I want to block my sim card with immediate effect. I lost my phone around 5pm. Since then it is showing either switched off or not reachable at the moment. I m concerned that my sim card should not be used for some inappropriate activities therefore kindly block the sim as soon as possible.

                    From morning, i'm not getting signals
                    Everyday the signals are good but today from the morning i'm not getting signals, and only emergency calls are available calls aren't going, no net in my phone, no messages sent
                    Tried inserting sim in other device and same problem exits
                    Tried shutting down my phone, no change after switching on
                    I want to the problem to be solved as soon as possible

                      I am writing a mail to inform you, i have a airtel mobile user. My number is id is [protected]. My airtel signal with internet service is very very poor,. When ever i try to use my internet, it is sowing that there is no connection or no network. Also my calls are getting disconnected while talking in between.

                        I registered on airtel money wallet. However when i am trying to initiate any transfer from my account, it shows debit facility has been disabled in my account. The number is [protected]. I have submitted all valid identification documents as per kyc norms to the airtel money email id. I dont know what kind of foul play is going on, they are just trapping people to use airtel money to receive gifts in form of cash for shopping and spending and paying bills, and once you get the money in wallet, they will stop the debiting. My wallet is not even a month old. And got a lot of balance, and now they have blocked it. They are now asking me to send to them the sender's bank account statement. Is it even logical? Why on earth will the sender share the bank a/c statement and as we know these details are very sensitive and confidential. Airtel assured me number of times for a proper resolution. But this aint a resolution even. I run the account, the account is in my name, i am the authorized person, i have submitted my verification documents. But when the company is here to loot me.

                          Hi sir/mam,

                          I got a message from airtel regarding outgoing service has been stopped by 17. Dec, but they just intimated to auto deduction of rs 23 from my main balance if i not recharged before 17 dec. They blocked the user number unable to complain with 121, 198 (Once i entered my mobile number it automatically stops).
                          After that i contacted with email-id. But they reply with verification block with sending incorrect otp to my mobile number. After that i contacted with airtel website complain number [protected].
                          This time they received my call. They are saying to me unable to stop that auto renewal and after 15 days incoming also blocked. I said to her clearly i don't want outgoing service now, if they block incoming service after 15 days, then i can do my recharge. But they said its automatic process, unable to stop it. I hereby attached the message i got from airtel. Kindly go through itand resolve the issue asap. Thanking you

                            I purchased a yearly pack sometime in august 2018. It has been working fine till now (Early december 2018). I've been having connectivity issues (Close to zero connectivity) for 2 weeks now which has impacted my work from home. I reached out the airtel customer care and they have not been the least bit helpful with the complaint.

                            I've now raised a request for cancellation and they choose to ignore it as well.

                                I've taken 2 connection and later i wanted to disconnect 2nd connection. I've called customer care They said there will be a charge of 100rs for disconnection i said and okay and paid 100rs. but after a month now if i recharge my TV is asking to me to pay every 5 days and minimum is 200 rs.
                                I've lost almost 5000 rs doing this every month.

                                SUCH A PATHETIC CUSTOMER SERVICE AND PEOPLE ARE NOT PROFESSIONAL AND VERY LAME DON'T KNOW HOW TO TALK TO A CUSTOMER .

                                  As per agreement at the time of purchasing sim (No.[protected]) in 2007, the validity of the sim was 2034. Then how can airtel suddenly curtail the validity period and ask for recharge to get outgoing and incoming validity?? Was this mention in the agreement?? If not so, they can't curtail my sim validity. How dare, they have also deduct my balance amount rs 39 without my consent. This is too much unfair business. I want my actual validity as it was i. E.2034, without any extra recharge. Kindly arrange for and do justice to me.

                                    Suddenly on 13th dec, 2018 the airtel sim on my phone stopped working. Initially thought it might be a phone problem. Restarted phone several times, changed sim slot, tried it in another phone, tried stopping other services like wifi. All of no use. As i work in night shift i couldn't do my any work
                                    All this without any intimation from airtel. I was about to receive important calls and messages on this number. Lost peace of mind due to this carelessness.

                                    I would like signals on my phone be restored as soon as possible, and additionally they need to compensate for loss of peace of mind, and loss of opportunity due to missed communication during the period.

                                      After 13 years in it industry and went to many on shore (Foreign) engagements one would think we have seen it all. But as it turns out, life can still surprise you.

                                      I was going to germany for an onsite engagement on 08th of november, 2018 and the itinary had been planned from bhuabneswar via delhi via abudhabi to dusseldorf, germany. Before i started the journey, i had made several calls to the airtel customer care and inquired about the international roaming and tariffs. They have activated the international roaming pack but with zero rental thats how they told me and they did not inform me about the data charges and if any extra recahrge i need to do for my airtel sim. They have only told me that i need to pay the basis rental of rs298 including gst so that i can receive only the sms as my intention was only to get sms for my banking transtaions in india.

                                      Until i got my airtel bill. Not a regular bill though, but worth rs 8149, 00!!! With a bill like that, one would assume that i must be on phone all 30 days of my trip! But the truth is that i had a taken local lyca sim on 09th of november, soon after i reached germany.

                                      I am usually wary of taking roaming services from domestic telcos fearing exactly this type of bill inflation. I typically prefer taking new temporary sim card from the country i am visiting, which is what i did on my us trip last year and many others before that.

                                      Not to mention that airtel sends you tons of mail like the one below promoting such packs, again with a promise to “roam abroad without bill shocks”.

                                      That’s the irony. “bill shock” is exactly what i got.

                                      Actually the bill says rs 52, 542. Airtel, in an act of “kindness” has reduced that to “only” rs 8149. How considerate of them! I guess they realised rs 52k is too big a sum for anybody to pay as phone bill, so let’s ask for something that is not that absurd! Airtel – if you are listening – this is still absurd. Who am i kidding – at this point, even the word “absurd” has lost its meaning.

                                      This is after the fact that airtel has set a credit limit of rs 6500 and i get tons of sms and calls if i happen to cross it with service barred after that.

                                      Now, here’s the weird part. I am not the first customer to be harassed like this. When i searched, i found numerous cases like this on consumercomplaints.in and other such forums.

                                      This guy got a bill of 75, 000 in mar 2017.
                                      An instance from 2016 of being charged rs 22, 000. This guy even made a video.
                                      An instance from 2015.
                                      Another instance where customer charged rs 19, 000 in 2013.
                                      An instance from 2010 of being charged rs 53, 000.
                                      Looks like this fraud has been going on for years. And airtel might have bullied some people via legal notices and collection agencies to pay such a hefty amount for no fault of their own.

                                      I hope after reading this, people get to know the reality and stay away from airtel international roaming packs. You are going to feel sorry afterwards.in case anybody is curious, i have been an airtel customer for past 4 years. So much for customer loyalty!

                                      I haven’t blogged in a long time. I feel weird i am writing my first post in years on a topic like this. Well, such is life i guess!

                                      Ps: i hope this reaches the right people at airtel and they put an end to it. After all, i am an optimist.
