Suddenly on 25 november 2018 the airtel sim on my phone stopped working. Initially thought it might be a phone problem. Restarted phone several times, changed sim slot, tried it in another phone, tried stopping other services like wifi. All of no use.
All this without any intimation from airtel. I was about to receive important calls and messages on this number. Lost peace of mind due to this carelesness.

    Deducted sum from pre-paid amount without any consent for vemes by service provider. An introductory sms and thereafter service activation with amount deduction sms was received immediately. Worst kind of service from airtel is quite unexpected. Customer care executives are not available over to their helpline while trying to reach. Kindly resolve.

      I recharged for 1gb per day pack for 28 days to my airtel number. But net speed is very very poor and low. Nowadays airtel is cheating the customer. After 8 years now decided to port the number to another network. Why giving 2 g net speed by collecting the money for 4 g? By keeping this kind of worst network and charging amount for incoming call also?

        I am using this number from a long time but suddenly a message comes which says your phone outgoing service would be deactivated though I was having a sufficient balance.It also says that your incoming calls would be deactivated if you do not recharge your number soon. When I complained regarding this to customer care they say this is the new policy of Airtel company so you have to get a recharge regularly to continue our services.Resolve this problem as soon as possible.

          This kind of [censored] network I’ve never seen anywhere. Paying 400 for 80 days and not even getting 2g speed In cities. Shame on AIRTEL. Never play this ads. Lol Refund my money if you have ethics. And my mobile is iPhone 5s facing this issue from 9 [censored] months. No data speed.

            For last five days with 4g network i neither can call or receive call. The moment one calls a "call ended"message pops up. My earlier complaint on 20th nov'18 gave me a complaint no 88631272 but the problem is yet to be solved. My repeated mails to [protected]@airtel.com goes on sending copy and paste (Exactly same word to word) replies by the two advisers, customer care without a reason for the outage. Further they advise to give a missed call to 515 which i did but the network team goes on sending me sms messages that my phone is not reachable. This is ridiculous, as when my complaint is no call received how would they expect to connect me. Instead they would know something is wrong and attend to it. But i continue to get the messages "give a missed call" and the standard computer reply not reachable. Is it reall the company practice of dealing with complaints? The outage is for too long period and beyond limits of tolerance! Nanda

              I have a prepaid airtel sim for last 11 years. It had a lifetime validity with the latest validity of nov 2028. Today all of a sudden i got a message saying that the validity is not reduced to 28-nov-2018. I checked the validity by sending *123# for balence and validity and indeed the validity has reduced. The message from airtel says that noe i need to recharge with rc35 for continued services. Is this not cheating? Can i get my money back to my account if airtel does not want me as a customer?

                Today message within 5 minutes that 35 rs have been deducted for the namkeen pack, since i was not using airtel since 5-6 mths i never activated that service. Sms provided me one no. To deactivate the service, when i called that no. The service was deactivated but 35 rs were not returned. I want my 35 rs back, i better give this money to a beggar than to these filthy corporates.

                    I just regret why i changed my sim card.. Vodafone was better than this nonsense airtel. Call drop is one thing but at least give me some speed when i have to use the net. We are hardworking ordinary people and our hard earned money just go wasted due to your such fake promises. I will again have to switch back to vodafone but i will request all my family and friends also to do so and this is my real promise not like yours.

                      My contact number [protected] (Prrpaid) got deactivated all of sudden without any prior notification l. It was working till 24th november morning uk time and after it got deactivated without any notification. When i called customer care hey have no clue and can't access any details for the number. I had some balance and basic international roaming activated on the number.

                      I need the number badly as i need for all oto transaction and i cant update anywhere as i am outside india as of now.

                      Looking forward to hearing on this.

                          I am using airtel number for more than seven years. I linked this number to all my bank, gas, aadhar etc. Now suddenly i got an sms stating that airtel outgoing pack validity expires on 26.11.2018. This sms i got two days before expiry. I called the customer care executive, they telling to recharge pack every month for outgoing validity. If not done outgoing will get disconnected n entire services will get disconnected after fifteen days. If this happens all my bank transaction n lot more things will get troubled. This is not fair airtel doing to customers. This is very worst. I don't agree this. Due to this i am forced to migrate to some other operator. While buying sim they told life time validity. Now suddenly they telling validity expires within two days. This is awkward. Worst operator behavior. I don't know wat is happening in india. There is no procedures to implement a scheme. This is really objectionable act airtel doing to customers. This should not be done as a sudden move.
                          Therefore i request your good self to take necessary action to stop this at the earliest. This will save not only me, the entire customers of airtel in india.

                            My airtel mobile number:[protected]
                            I would like to inform you about the bad behaviour of the airtel race course staff sitting in counter 4.

                            I have visited the airtel office to change my card from postpaid to prepaid. But due to the very rash and vulgar behaviour of the staff in counter 4, i have changed my mind to disconnect my airtel card.

                            I want to complain not only about the person but also against the hr department of airtel to select such type of person in such a reputed company airtel.

                            Due to the bad behaviour of the person airtel has lost his one precious customer, and may other customer also may have left because of the staff person behaviour.

                            I request you to take a strict action against the person. And explain his or give him training about the consumer communication. As he have no sense of talking to the customer.

                              I'm vishnu, i had an issue with my airtel number is temporarily blocked i don't know why. So to resolve i went to airtel store in coimbatore ganapathy branch. I asked that why my number is blocked executive took my phone and installed airtel related apps like music video etc without my knowledge and after seeing my another sim jio, he got angry and arguing with me jio waste why you are recharging for that, why can't you recharge airtel, if not go out and move to another network he added at very rude manner. But my question was why number is blocked that's it? Is this answer? This is how management told executive to behave like this to customers?

                                Hello sir.

                                I am using my airtel sim form past 10years.in the year 2007 i have made a monthly recharge of inr 99/month for 12 months and airtel had promised me to give lifetime validity upto 2035 i think.

                                Now i have received a message from airtel saying that i need to recharge with a minimum of 35 rs per month to in order to keep my incomming and outgoing active. Else they are going to barred my calls.
                                Airtel call center representative replied it as per new trai rules but there was no such rule made trai.

                                Request you to kindly check into this issue.

                                  First of all, let me tell you one thing.. I'm highly disappointed with the customer service of airtel.. It's so pathetic and not customer friendly at all.

                                  I wanted to port my 2 nos : [protected] and [protected] to jio as they have better plans. I requested for port (In sept) after which i got a call from airtel and they offered me a low cost 249 plan which would cost be around 291 including gst.

                                  I agreed to stay back with airtel and requested them to activate the aforementioned plan on my 2 nos.

                                  They confirmed activating the new plan and it was during last week of sept. Now in nov (21st), i received the bills still as per the old plan and when i called customer service, they confirmed that the bill plan was still not changed... I told them that i needed the bill plan to be changed immediately and also the previous bill should be as per the new bill plan and i should be given waiver as it's airtel's mistake that they haven't changed the plan yet.

                                  Here's the service request no for the call i had with jastinder (Senior customer care) :Â [protected]. She assured me that this issue would be sorted out and the plan will be changed and waiver also taken care of.

                                  I called again today (25th nov), but to my utter disbelief and surprise, they told me that the no [protected] still had the old plan. My call was transferred to senior customer care (Shagufta). I'm sorry to say she was not sensitive to my issue/query at all. I kept on telling her that i requested for bill plan change in sept and i got confirmation for the same (I told her the complete story till today) but she kept on saying that i'll have to pay the bill as per the generated bill (I. E as per the old plan). This is same as placing an online order for a product x but you are delivered product y and then you are forced to keep the product as it has already been shipped. On top of this when they initially offered me the new plan at 249 they just told me the amount but had a hidden clause that this new bill plan will be revised after 1 year. I came to know about this hidden clause only today from the customer care. Had they told me this thing right when i wanted to port my number, i'd have never stayed with airtel.

                                  This is pure customer exploitation / over charging / cheating with the customers.Â

                                  I want my previous bills for the above mentioned 2 nos to be revised as per the new plan offered and if they cannot give me 249 plan forever, i want to go ahead with port and take this to consumer court for the deceit/cheating airtel has done with me and above all wasted my precious time.

                                        My set top box was supposed to be upgraded to hd on 24th nov 2018 as per schedule. Airtel store closed the complaint with out changing the set top box and they closed the request on airtel portal and disabled old set top box on portal. Due to this we are not able to watch any channel. I spoke to customer care, they said that this set top box has been upgraded as per portal but new set top box is not installed.
