Disposal o[censored]nused number in very quick & unfair manner
Greetings from africa
I had following number +[protected] registered in name of dr munish aggarwal since 10 years for my clinical & private use.
I moved to kampala uganda in 2015.
I have lost my sim in july this year in kampala uganda.
I have been recharging but unable to receive & make calls (Pls note lost sim)
I tried to get the sim replaced by sending by father to paschim vihar delhi airtel office with all identification documents.
I can not travel to india just for a sim card replacement can i?
They can not replace the sim without me being there in person.
When i requested them to hold the number for me till i come to india in dec 2018 ie after 2 months they refused.
Every refusal is blamed on trai regulations.
When i send a mail to their official address i only receive auto reply.
Calling them at various level did not help at all.
Can you please get answer to following questions.
1 is it possible to hold my number till dec 2018 at your level.
2 millions of indians live abroad. Countless of whom use indian numbers for various reasons.
If anyone of them lost indian sim outside the country. Are they supposed to loose the number or come to india just for sim replacement.
3 if there are procedures in place for above scenario why airtel is not aware of them.
4 if postpaid number can be preserved but not prepaid number why discrimination.

    I had activated international roaming of 1 day @649 on airtel postpaid mobile no. It's been two months and i am charged rs 649 for some specific days which is not explainable and the bill amount is huge i had deactivated the 649 plan from my airtel app last month itself. There are incoming charges + monthly rentals plus taxes. Total bill has crossed 8000 rupees.

      [protected] with broadband connection. The complaint has been submitted telephonically. However, the problem has not yet been resolved. It's therefore requested that necessary action /airtel reps to be sent at the earliest to resolve the internet connection problem.

        Dear Sir,

        I am customer of Airtel digital dish tv, I have purchased it from online on 30th Sept 2018, and that time airtel digital dish tv online customer executive has told me that "If you purchased our set top box then you will get 2 months subscription free, you can watch 2 month all channel free with purchase price Rs1480 only" and that"s why I have given order through online and airtel engineer has installed set top box same day in my home, Now from 30th sept to till datev 2 months has not completed but one message is showing in my tv set that please recharge your tv with in 5th Nov-18, after that I have called to airtel digital tv customer care no[protected], on 1st Nov-2018, and customer care executive have told me that your registration has been set for one month free, so you have to mail and complain to the company, and he has given me complain no also, Complain No is 82324540, on 01/11/2018.
        After that I have sent a mail on 1st Nov and 4th Nov, but not getting any solution, they have only given me reference No which is [protected].
        And from 5th Nov my connection has been disconnected by the airtel. where as it should continue another one month as per the scheme when it has been sold to me. So, how we can trust the big brand like airtel? where this type of such misguide/cheating is happening with the customer.
        So, please issue me another one month free all channel as per offer with Rs1480 new airtel digital tv set box connection communicated by the airtel customer executive at the time of booking my border, You can check the voice call record.There is no respond getting from the airtel after giving so many time reminder and complain.
        Is this the ethics and policy of the company?
        Is taking the airtel digital tv a crime?

          This is abhijeet. Today my annual pack was about to end. That's why i was in touch with airtel's customer service representative for the last two days to subscribe to my current pack. I was following their instructions and suggestions for the subscription. They told me to recharge with ₹ 4501 for continuing to my current package. I did what they exactly told me to do. But after recharging when i called airtel's customer service representative for confirming my package, first of all he ask me weather i watch english movies channel or not? I told him that there are three (03) english movies channels in my current package. I asked him if any channel has been added or removed this time? He told me that "no everything is fine and your channels would remain same as earlier." after that he didn't told me anything about channel and confirmed my package. But from the moment i recharged my dth yearly package, those three channels where stoped by the broadcaster. I called them again. Again a lady told me that this is happening due to some technical error. With in 48 hrs. It will be ok. I know that she was laying to me. After few moments i called them again. Now one of there representative told me that those three channels are not the part of your package.

          Now what should i think about company and its employees. This attitude of the company not only caused me mental stress but also my 4501 rupees wasted.

            I wanted recharging my line so in the process of scratching the card i scratching out the card pin and also the card s/n and have but the card b/n with me what do i do now, so please i don't know what to do now and i realy want that credit and have no option than to look for a way to get it back if not my job will be at stake so please i need your help please

              I have 1gb data on my airtel no. [protected] and 65 rupees i just turn on data connection i will see that my balance is no more i called costumer care no. He gave me nonsensible excuse he says u used data but i have 1 gb data...why airtel deduct my money . This is humble request to you pls give my balance back.

                Airtel was given the false promise, last couple of years i used airtel only, it is life time validity sim. Today i got the message, your outgoing calls going to be stopped. I have balance in my account, still also it needs another recharge for continuing the service. So airtel failed to keep the promise level of life time validity. Why the airtel service given the false promises and everything.

                  outgoing services expired

                  Outgoing services on my airtel number has expired on 7-Nov-2018 and soon my incoming services will expire by 14-Nov-2018. It is said that to recharge immediately to avoid such expiration and I did it. In spite of it, they just blocked the outgoing and soon incoming to be blocked. When called customer care about it no response is given. I recharged my mobile before the said date and still, they block my services. I need immediate resolution...

                  This is Prakash from Tamilnadu. Last week i have received msg from airtel " if not recharged your number your number will be blocked on 7th Nov 18. So i have recharged same day". But today i could not going any call due to insufficient balance. I did not used Airtel outgoing calls from last 3days. They are took my balance and again i have received same IVR your out going will be disconnect on next week. This is a Pathetic from customer side. I have tried customer care number but i could not reach any one, i have waiting for more then 20minutes, only i have hear music's then automatically disconnect my call. My question is why they are blocking my outgoing calls. My sim validity is lifetime. What they are expecting from customers side? Defenately i need clarification and govt or any body stop this kind of cheating.

                    On 02 November 2018, I visited Airtel Gallery, Gachibowli, Hyderabad to raise a request to change my Postpaid connection into Prepaid. By end of the day i received the confirmation from Airtel via SMS that my request has been processed and now it's under service is Prepaid, hence i have to do first recharge from the authorized Airtel shop or local mobile.
                    Since then unfortunately i m unable to do my First recharge, I visited several times to Airtel galley they only give false assurance that Back End Team is working on this technical issue. When contacted Technical (Dialing 198) they confirm everything is working fine and well there is no problem please visit Airtel gallery to do your first recharge.
                    Now after visiting almost 5 times, My problem is not solved hence i m requesting CONSUMER COMPLAINTS team to look into this and get this resolve at the earliest.

                    Today (09th November, 2018) I got the call from Airtel and they said issue has been resolved. Finally my mobile network connection services has been resumed. Thanks to everyone who ever has extended support to resolve this issue or atleast convey the problem to Airtel. Regards Venu

                      unable to recharge airtel prepaid in airtel app not online using website

                      Hi, i am unable to recharge my airtel prepaid number [[protected]] via airtel internet website [airtel.in]. I am forced to find a recharge center nearby everytime. Why can't i recharge online?

                      This number was bought from chennai, tamilnadu. It was later ported to bangalore, karnataka. Is that why this issue is?

                      My daughter has tried via both airtel website and via airtel app in her phone. Still the recharge...

                      I have postpaid connection on [protected] for last 5-6 years. Suddenly it got converted to prepaid. IVR for Customer care and my airtel app is showing prepaid. When I called from separate network to postpaid, customer care service agent told that it is postpaid on their end and asked me to visit airtel store as they cannot resolve it.

                      I want my connection back to postpaid. Also i have 89 GB roll over data and 20 GB new data for this month.

                      Please take responsibility for this and solve it ASAP.

                        Dear sir, my mobile no [protected].
                        I couldn't make outgoing calls. But I am able to recharge it. And I also got an alert message that from 9 November 2018 outgoing calls will be blocked from my mobile. I need to continue service. So please resolve my problem.
                        Fyi, I made a recharge for 35 and 10 today(8 November 2018). And my talk time balance is 33. And l also made a databalance recharge of 199 today.

                          I had made enquiry for installing airtel broadband at my home on airtel website.

                          A few days after making the enquiry, airtel service person called me to check if the service is available in my locality. After confirming that broadband service is available and that they can install in a day they asked me to make payment from the link sent by airtel.

                          I signed up for 6 months plan. Its been 6 days since i have made the payment and so far no one has come for installation and the service personnel does not attend the calls. The service personnel even blocked my number, i was able to contact them from another number but she blocked that too after one call.

                          I tried calling the customer care, but the system ask to enter fixed line number or account number to proceed, but since my connection was not installed i dont have both. Its very frustrating.

                            I am using airtel digital tv in my home from past 18 months and in a recent days i have a problem watching some regional hd channels. I reported to the customer care and they are saying to me that they will register the complaint and they will send a technician to my home and i need to pay rs 150/- to the technician. There is no point of paying here as the problem is from their side and they need to resolve and this is how they will treat customers and asking them to pay? This is 24/7 customer service? Worst and worst ever have seen like this

                              I have received a phone call at my mobile number ([protected]) from an unknown number ([protected]). The given number is from airtel company, i had received a call on tuesday[protected] at around 1:40 pm in the noon.
                              A lady was asking about my wife when i had received the call on that time. I have the call recording of discussing with the phone call.
                              After that i investigated about the unknown number from another mobile number, the lady has denied that she did not call me on tuesday and making unnecessary stories for it and she is not accepting that she had called me on tuesday.

                              I have doubt that someone is trying to take personal information about my wife.

                                Recently i have upgraded my sim to 4g. It is activated also.
                                But it is not allowing messages to be sent or receive. Customer service people also not responding properly. How to get enable my sms services in the mobile phone. I really need this service for online transactions (Otp). Please quickly rectify this problem. Is it possible to solve immediately

                                  This is roshan basha shaik from andhra pradesh (Prakasam district, giddalur village&mandal).
                                  My issue about airtel mobile signals and data connectivity.in my village (Actually not only in my village whole state) suffers airtel signal connectivity problem and poor voice clarity.
                                  I want to complaint about this situation to the company authorities to take serious action on data connectivity and signal connection.
                                  We are suffers almost from the last year, still no change.

                                  Can anybody explain whats going on there?

                                  Kindly please fix the errors and provide such good connectivity and signals.
