Airtel was changing my regular family plan of 999/- + GST to 1199/- + GST by charging higher. To avoid charging higher I went to Airtel store to downgrade my plan. There new downgraded plan costed the same amount of 999/-+ GST but supported less number of Add On family members. With that I asked to remove and totally close the 2 numbers from my family plan to downgrade.
Further, they did initiate the process. I have had previous experience where Airtel would delay the requests and keep on charging the bill. Here they went extra step. They keep on charging for those 2 closed numbers, but not gain under the same family plan, but separate entities inflating my bill. With my proactive action and as per the store, I should have stopped being charged for those 2 numbers from the day I made request for closure. However, this didn’t go same. I requested to remove charge on Airtel customer care at twitter, some folks agreed but there was no response later on. I followed up and then new agent Kuldeep responded that he will not remove those charges.
Now there bill due date is approaching. I wanted to make payment but cannot due to highly inflated bill. Please help me resolve.
