On 29th I decided to have an Airtel Xstream Broadband connection, after confirmation from the Airtel Sales Person Mr. Bhargav (Ph:-[protected]/[protected]) we took up the plan. Please find the below screenshots as a proof. Since he confirmed there is a service in my location (#72A, janatha colony, carmelaram post, doddakannalli, sarjapur main road, Bangalore Pincode:-560035) I have decided to take up the connection he sent me Airtel link and I have made the payment Rs.4000 for Broadband+ DTH free connection. So Bhargav immediately sent the DTH person for installation on 29th,  even though we denied for DTH first and to install broadband, he made us to install DTH but actually what we required is Broadband after making confirmation and payment through call and WhatsApp and waiting since 5 days. Airtel xstream service provider saying service not available. Why did Mr.Bhargav give false commitment and  take our money and waste our precious time in waiting to say no service there. This could have informed us before we would have gone for another option, we would have stopped putting the DTH connection if xstream Broadband is not available.
Kindly find the below sample evidence for the confirmation from Bhargav Airtel Sales person that in our location service is there he confirmed.(if required full chat i can provide for taking action againest him)
Please refund our amount (Rs.4000 and Rs.200 installation) totally Rs. 4200 and take away your Airtel xstream DTH.

Mainly we are in search of Fiber Broadband. Our bad luck we wasted our time in Airtel Xstream due to your unprofessional sales person Bhargav.

Sincere request don't ever cheat people like this for putting Airtel DTH.

Kindly take strict action! against Mr. Bhargav (Ph:-[protected]/[protected]) he missguided us and he wasted our time and money.
If there is no strict action taken against this I am going to take a LEGAL ACTION.

Please teach your sales person some professionalism not even responding to calls. This could have gone smoothly through the call but wasted our money and time.
We have asked for a Telugu, Tamil pack for DTH but your sales person gave us a kannada pack. After calling for this issue after broadband we can change he said atlast no broadband and we have a kannada pack. What kind of service is Airtel providing to the public?
Request from the public is something and your service is something, totally not acceptable.

    I registered a sim on the 5th August 2022 with one of your branches here abuja. On the 7th of same month i recharged 20GB data which i used for just 4days. 6 days after acquiring the sim, it started showing registration failure.
    I have been to office where i got the sim countless times to resolve it but to no avail. Called customer care to which the attendant as at the time said withing 48hrs and it will be resolved. I called back after 48hrs and a customercare attendant said the sim is active from his end but not mine and he doesnt know why.
    I sent an email to [protected]@ng.airtel.com and one Abigail Omojola replied with the issue has been sent to the appropriate network department. It's been 29hrs and no update.

      I requested a new Airtel broadband connection on August 11, 2022 and we paid the activation fee. It's been almost more than 2 weeks since the connection has yet to be provided, but the landline number and all the things they have created.

      We keep following the team for the activation and the team says it will take another 3 weeks to activate because the airtel box is not available for your connection, and they force us to cancel if not necessary. We chose your services because you are the best supplier in town, but thighs coming to us now is different. While choosing the services, they promised us that they would provide the service to us within 48 hours. But the answer they give is not valid at all regarding the service. Please check and provide service to us as soon as possible.

      Later they cancelled my connection requested they refunded the money. Again 01-Sep-2022 they called to re-initiate the connection and paid the charges. Still no update. If i Cal they say it will be done by today everyday they say the same dialogue. Very worst and i feel they are cheating the customers.

        Recieved this message "Thanks for using ONMBLE_CNTST. You have been charged Rs 1.0 from your Airtel Mobile account.For more services, call 56789 " but i didn't activate or use any service like that.

          A salesman name Sunil Yadav(his mob no - [protected]) from Mira Road has sent a person to survey at our residence Shanti Vihar for Airtel xstream dth and Internet connection . After survey he had told us a fixed amount of Rs 1500 and 1 month free and after that Rs 699 per month will be charged for Airtel xstream dth and internet connection and told us you don’t have to give a single Penny . We have paid Rs1500 online and after that they sent their Airtel employee for dth connection but they have not connected properly and we are not getting any services at all .Further that Sunil Yadav (salesman) was asking us an Rs250 extra amount for wiring at the time of connection but we refused to pay him extra Rs 250 as per his commitment. We asked him to refund our money within 2days . Furthermore, they did a false commitment of doing the work which we had paid for and was asking extra money from us and didn't provide us any proper service and harassed us. If our money will not be refunded within 2 days this will force us to go to consumer court and police station.
          Kindly take a note on it. Also he didnt let us know all the plans of airtel as well as not refunded our money. As per your commitment you have still not solved our problem.

            I have recharged mobile [protected] on 17th July 2022 with INR 2999 plan. Since then I was not able to download the soft copy from thaksapp, but was able to download other payments.

            so far I have raised 4 requests and 2 were closed with no resolution and 2 in progress.
            So far I have made 10+ calls to support team, each time I get different email ID to mail or will be given 48 hours of resolution time but nothing worked.
            I have filed online complaint in Consumers Complaints and received 2 calls, representative does not know English and cannot even read the email.

            Giving a bill is mandatory for any purchase on which Airtel is failing for 40+ days. Too much of time waste and effort on both side. Hopefully this gets resolved now.

              I have not subscribed to any VAS. I have still got a deduction for of Rs. 1. Looks like false charging. I should be unsubscribed from this VAS, and all VAS immediately. Refund me the charges. Thanks a lot.

                  I requested for a broadband connection on 28th July and paid 2828.46 rupees with transaction ID 1-DZT32OE in there system and PhonePay transaction id T2208291711473386162354. They scheduled an appointment with order id21-[protected] and assigned Engineer Nagarjuna ([protected]) for[protected]T08:00:00. From 30th till now, the engineer is not responding, neither there twitter support staff. I am also trying to reach out to their sales guyMurli Gowda([protected]) and he is also not responding with correct information.

                  It looks like a fraud case to me now.

                    Description:
                    I had got activated IR pack just for 1 day to transit in EU countries on for 25th July (Turkey + germany) to be in touch with my family. I landed around 10-10 30 AM in Istandbul, and IR pack got activated. But to my surprise, It got ended in 14 hour at 12 AM CET time 25th July.

                    I used the internet to call my family and Google maps in morning next 26th July and i was charged for that, without knowing it got ended last night.

                    I had not known this nor was told to me by customer care which is actually unethical practice as 1 day pack means 24 hours no matter when I land anywhere the globe. What if someone lands at 11 pm at night, he would be left with 1 hour for a day pack ending 12 Midnight of Host country.

                    When I raised the voice against double billing of IR packs, they simply said - It's Company policy.

                    This is a wrong practice, and they are making money out of this.

                    Instead of my regular bill + IR pack = 1197+649+GST=INR 2178, I have got the Bill of INR 2950.

                    Solution:
                    1. I request Airtel to share proper bill with my regular plan bill + 1 day IR Pack.
                    2. They should take positive feedback to ease customer with favorable solution instead of showing back and fool customers with blunt answers.

                    Also, I was not satisfied with the response I got from my dedicated relationship manager (who change everytime I call), and their blunt professionalism and responses made me to request to deactivate the whole Airtel plan as in past also, I have faced low reception, Unprofessionalism service and false commitments etc.

                    Its not the matter of few Hundred rupees but about Unethical practice being operated by Airtel to mint money.

                      I was recharging a number on 22 August With the airtel app and I paid with Amazon pay. the amount was deducted from my account but the recharge was not done. I got two messages from AD-AIRINF first message said the recharge has been processed(order id:[protected] and the second message said that the recharge failed(order id:[protected]. I contact Airtel customer care but they said that The transaction ID provided by you does not belong to Airtel Payments Bank. So I contacted Amazon pay customer care they said that payment was successful from our side. So now how do I get my refund?

                              Hi,

                              Airtel was changing my regular family plan of 999/- + GST to 1199/- + GST by charging higher. To avoid charging higher I went to Airtel store to downgrade my plan. There new downgraded plan costed the same amount of 999/-+ GST but supported less number of Add On family members. With that I asked to remove and totally close the 2 numbers from my family plan to downgrade.

                              Further, they did initiate the process. I have had previous experience where Airtel would delay the requests and keep on charging the bill. Here they went extra step. They keep on charging for those 2 closed numbers, but not gain under the same family plan, but separate entities inflating my bill. With my proactive action and as per the store, I should have stopped being charged for those 2 numbers from the day I made request for closure. However, this didn’t go same. I requested to remove charge on Airtel customer care at twitter, some folks agreed but there was no response later on. I followed up and then new agent Kuldeep responded that he will not remove those charges.

                              Now there bill due date is approaching. I wanted to make payment but cannot due to highly inflated bill. Please help me resolve.

                                On July 29, 2022, I tried to recharge my Phone Number through Airtel Upi and it has been failed. I got the message that the amount will be refunded after 7-10 days through Text Message

                                It is been a Month and still i did not

                                      This is regarding Airtel service issue on my mobile number and for the same raised Incident#blr[protected] on 12th August 2022 with turnaround time as 16th Aug 2022 but it is closed on (16th Aug 2022 around 7pm IST) without any resolution when I contacted customer service today I am informed that team has tried to contact me on airtel number but I am not reachable.

                                      I am surprised to hear the reason for the closure because 1. During the complaint they have taken my alternate number as +[protected]. Is it just to fool the customer that you will try to contact an alternate number or you will really contact an alternate number if the primary number is not reachable? 2. 17th Aug 2022 at the same time as about (AEST 10.30pm, 7pm IST) I got a WhatsApp ping from Airtel person "Arya" asking about the information. I responded 1.30hr later and chatted for a few minutes. He suggested a few steps and I tried those, but the issue did not resolve (attached WhatsApp chat screenshots FYR). After giving a response how can they close the incident? Not sure why did they not called on my alternate number +[protected]

                                      When I called on 18th Aug 2022, the support person transferred the call to supervisor Name : Nitin Dogra. He is saying the same but when I asked about why they did not contact on my alternate number, no answer and when I asked about WhatsApp chat he said nothing mentioned in the closure reason. If that is the case, I asked to reopen the issue he denied and asked to raise a new incident# CCNOR3BLR[protected] with resolution time as 27th August 9:05 pm. Is that supervisor's job to provide customer service or just raise a new incident and ask to wait for another couple of days to fool the customer again?

                                      This is how Airtel is providing service by fooling the customer and taking heavy charges for nothing.

                                      Today that is 30th Aug 2022 I called to enquiry again they said my incident closed and closure reason is issue resolved. I did not get any confirmation from Airtel but incident closed. Is this how airtel provides service ?
                                      Now even I am not getting incoming calls on my number +91 [protected]
