I am using Airtel post paid mobile number [protected]. More than 10 times I approached to the store with my request to change plan from post paid to prepaid. A month back I got a new sim but till now plan not changed. Airtel is charging amount of 500/- every month. I am facing problems with Airtel. As my usage is nil so why should I pay for. I also called to customer care but no body is ready to solve the issue. Now only option is left to approach to Consumer Forum.

    I am naini and i am using [protected] since 3-4 years as a postpaid number.

    4 July - I registered a complaint to convert my postpaid number into prepaid number
    6 July- I received confirmation via SMS
    8-july- I recharged my phone with RS 499, 10, 20 but outgoings were still not working I called up customer care on 121 and 198 but they didn't help me. Since it was a Sunday Airtel store was closed.
    9 july- I send someone on my behalf since I was traveling.
    11 july- I went to Airtel store they registered my complaint when I ask for solution that lady started shouting on me.
    12 july- today also my complaint it not resolved yet.

    When everything work is dependent on phone on those days my outgoings are not working.

    Airtel customer care is not supporting. Airtel store not supporting.

    Who compensate the loss of rs 15000
    I have beared just because of my phone was not activated.

    Kindly resolve

      I have been using airtel number for past 13 years. Initially I was subscribed under prepaid plan but after mandatory linking of aadhar there was some verification issue so I decided to switch to postpaid plan for a while before reverting to prepaid. Here comes the best part. As per airtel official the plan was active from Jan 11, 2018. But I wasn't able to use the network. I stay away from home town and during my next visit I enquired them what was the issue. They recommended to change the sim card and surprise surprise bill amount was generated without network being on for single second for whole month. I contacted the customer care but no avail. (usual flippant answers) Now airtel official promised that I will be able to switch to prepaid after using postpaid for 100 days. Every time I visit these ppl (remember I stay away from hometown) they have been anything but cooperative. I already paid close to 1200 without using this network. And a late fees of 100 is charged now(as there was delay for 2 months for Bill amount of 470). My credit limit is 1400, it makes no sense I should be paying 100 for 470 rs bill. I am still facing tough luck changing this number to prepaid. I swear this is the last time i will use airtel.

        My airtel speed is too much slow even slower than 50kb/s for loading a page i have to wait too much i never have seen speed above 500 kb/ps i have tried every operator life vodafone, jio but the airtel speed is slower than all airtel is only best in showing fake ads... before recharging the airtel i used jio on that time i thought the airtel speed will be better but now i realize that jio is the best sim operator and will remain they do not show anything fake and the thing of 50kb/s jio has unlimited data of 65kb/s so i am not satisfied with airtel at all i just wasted my money on recharging on airtel

          I had switched my sim from Bsnl to airtel and using the Unlimited tariff Plan,
          From the day One I had facing issue while making Outgoing Calls.
          whenever i try to make outgoing calls, most of the times it says all line are busy please try after some time to make a single call i had to try more than fifteen times. I had complained to customer care more than three times and they never seen this issue seriously and saying it will get over. At the end i had only one solution switching my service provider. I really regret to be a airtel customer. [censored] Company.

            Complaining about signal network in my home to airtel network
            But there is no resolution of my problem
            I registered my complain on 4 july but there is no response the network team call daily for taking good feedback only but there is no executive is coming
            And there is resolution off my problem
            Airtel network is a worst network ever they dont provide good service and cost is highly paid by consumers
            Its my first and last time complaining about airtel i will change my all airtel phone number to another service provides like Vodafone, reliance jio
            I want to said that please stop doing fake advertising about airtel network because you cannot provide proper service

              1. I had the main balance of Rs 145/- in my prepaid mobile number [protected] till 10 Jul 18.

              2. On 11 Jul 18, I had recd following msg from your Company without initiating any action by me to activate any kind of service :-

              (1/2) Dear Customer, International Roaming rental charge is Rs99. Due to low balance in your account, Rs.69.06 have been deducted and balance amount of Rs.29.94 will be deducted in subsequent
              ..(2/2) recharges.

              3. I am surprised to see that today my balance has become Rs1/- from Rs 145/- without choosing any chargeable service or doing any call other than free calls allowed to me as per already opted plan of mine.

              4. You are requested to refund the balance of Rs144/- which has wrongly been debited from my above prepaid mobile number.

                My Digital TV connection not working since July 7th and everyday I am raising complaint. Without attending the complaint they simply close the ticket. The ticket are 77284694, 77309158, 77415556, 77467980, 77415556, 77517135.
                Everyday someone from customer service calls and says technician will attend today but no one attends and ticket gets automatically closed

                  I was using Airtel connection for past many years in Delhi and Pune in India.Last year I had to temporarily shift to Charlotte USA. I started receiving messages from AIrtel with their roaming offers and decided to go with recharge of INR 2498 with unlimited local calling, 500 min call to India and 5 GB data for 30 days. I paid on 30th of May 2017 and waited for services to be activated till today i.e. 30th of Jun 2017 . For similar amount I would have taken a new connection from any of operators and not faced such issues.

                  Moreover after recharging again in Oct 2017 in India( i had to visit due to death my family) I was able to use the services again (Only in India). And i kept receving messages in in US till March 2018.

                  Now when i have shifted back to india, i found my number is deactivated and reassigned to some one else without any prior notification .

                    Mobile no [protected] fav kanwal kishen bhat please stop standing instruction from my credit card as i have already surrendered the above mobile no. refund the amount already taken from my credit card after surrendering the number.as my credit has been debited with Rs.227.00 .but i have already surrendered/ closed the mobile no.[protected]. pl refund and cancle the standing instruction if any from above mobile no.

                    Rs. 99 unlimited plan with limits for 28 days is not offered to all prepaid customers.

                    It is unfair and false advertising that anyone can subscribe to the plan.

                    Shame on a company like Airtel to be discriminating on customers. A good lawyer should take them to court and sue them for such behaviour.
                    For last 6 months I am doing follow up with Airtel customer service. They are only saying it technical issue it will solve. No no t solve yet last six months please take necessary actions... Wasting my money and time...

                      I have lodged a complaint with customer care on 9th July 2018 Req No. 86348983. Today is 12th July 18 and still I am not able to use internet services of your compnay. Your company claim to be the fastest network. Very often I face this problem and every time it takes more than 15-20 days to resolve the issue. I am your customer since 2006 but I think this is the time to port to some other service provider. My family has 3 airtel numbers are all faces same problem. I am attaching a screen shot of my number [protected]. Do the needful at the earliest.

                          I am airtel user since almost 8 years but since last one year they were not providing good network as well as Internet speed so i decided to port out but when i sent Port Message they send me that due to system issue we are unable to generate UPC code please try after some time. after this i emailed them and they told me that my payment is due so they were not sending. and payment due is for last 1 days only and current months. after clearing payments same thing happens now they are not answering me.

                          I recently got a new airtel sim as my previous sim was deactivated. I am receiving tower signal however unable to call 59059 for telephone verification as it says network not available. Please fix this issue as soon as you can.
                          I have recharged airtel mobile with rs.159 on 07.07.2018. Bank account got debited but transaction failed. The transaction reference number is[protected]. Kindly reverse the amount immediately to my bank account

                            I am facing too much problem in network not able to communicate properly and my work is going pending on and on and voice call is too poor and data is not stable properly in 4G...

                            4G signal is very bad only running with 2signal by inwarding 4G pack of Rs. 499 /- suffering from 7 days I have complaint in customer care also but nothing happens till date..they said me that it will recover in 24hour but not a Singal improvement...

                            So plz provide me full network ASAP

                              My previous plan was advance rental plan which ended in July 2018. and i have updated the plan to 399 plan this month.
                              I have changed my bill plan, but still my bill has included advance rental amount of Rs. 999 in the bill.
                              I have called many times to customer care but they are not responding positively.
                              I need a revised bill with deduction of advance rental charges.

                                I am a airtel user from 4 years and I have 4 more connections in my family.I have always take unlimited plan of 199/- on all my airtel numbers every month.but we have faced the problem of bad network in our area from last 1 year and my plan always go waste because i am not able to do call, use internet facilities because of bad network.I have complaint many times on airtel helpline no. but not responded yet now.so now I try last time for request of my problem, if you will resolve this problem them it would be great, otherwise I would change all connections of mine in other sim.

                                  As claimed and mentioned Airtel is not providing 4G service properly.

                                  Network is very bad
                                  Connectivity will be good on the day of recharge but from next day it wont even connect. Its been more than 9 months being in continuously in touch with Airtel Customer care but no use. No one gives solution.

                                  This issue is all across the users, i have checked my own 3 connections (2Prepaid & 1Postpaid) same issue. And issue is even with my colleagues.

                                  Currently Airtel is the dumbest of all network providers.
                                  its very clear that they want to be in competition without loosing their wide margins.

                                    What the [censored] service and network you are giving...real [censored]...
                                    Your network is to tooooo slow and it will automatically change the speed of internet like from 4G to E or H+...ugh...Such a poor and worse service you are providing...
                                    Do something otherwise I'll port my number to another Broadband...

                                    The internet speed is really becoming poor and poor day by day... Resolve my problem as soon as possible

I have another airtel sim in which 4g network works fine but in this number (as above) internet signal is not available. I live in Dhanbad, Jharkhand area. Please fix this issue ASAP.

                                      Previews network has disconnected on 04.07.2018. I have received activation request booked message on 26th June 2018 from Airtel. Then still my new child number is not working from past two days. I have raised this complaint but still not rectified.
                                      If someone called me, It is telling like Number is not reachable, But I can call them.
                                      It's really Frustrating. I missed few of my Important call because of this Issue.

                                        I don't want this BOLLYWOOD GUPSHUP service without my permission plesae don't activate such useless services. really it's very disappointing such stupid things happening from this much reputed telecommunications company. stop this service immediately. really its disappointing the reason to accept my complaint your complaint is too short ha ha ha.
