I am a old customer/consumer of airtel service and been using the service for long time. Recently i moved to uae for work and asked airtel to activate international roaming. It was all good for first 3 months jan-march. I came back to india for vacation and then received a call from airtel customer service offering a new package/deal stating i just have to pay rs 149 every month while i am overseas and will only get charged rs649 per day only when i receive a call or do any data usage. It was a nice offer for me because i just wanted my number to be active while i stay in uae and no intention o[censored]sing data or receiving any call or send any sms. A month later i received a bill of approx rs4000 charging me rs649 each day i stayed in uae. I was shocked and reached out to customer service via email and gave them all the proof i had and explanation i gave on what was offered to me. At first they got my problem and credited back/waived the amount and i paid only some of the amount approx rs1000 as my bill. Now this month again they sent me bill of huge amount i. E rs13000. I was so shocked looking at it. I again reached out to them on the same email chain and explained the same situation. But this time they are not at all trying to understand and keep on asking me for money and pay the bill. I simply cannot pay the bill or amount so huge for something i never used. They are accusing me o[censored]sing data and sending sms or receiving call which i never did. I know how to use my phone and how to turn off the data in phone itself. Please help me resolve this case as my intention was just to keep my sim active and nothing else but they are charging me for so many things and for such a huge amount which i am not capable of paying in the first place and this is looting. I have emails for the communication i had with customer service which i can provide if needed.

      Sir we have a issue regarding airtel network in our house which is in yamuna vihar...the network is worst in our house.. Even the small searching on the phone is not possible.. Sir plzzz do something for this. Sir 4g network is working like 2g.. We r facing this problem from past six month and there is no improvement.. Airtel is the fastest and it is working like this... This is really annoying

        I have a number of airtel and i want to port from airtel to vodafone, for that i got the port number from airtel then i provide this number to mobile shop keeper and then he follow his procedure and give me a vodafone card he told me that in 5 days my airtel network will stop and then my vodafone network will start but todayi receive a message which exectly i am pasting here.

        i receive first this message from airtel when i message for port number

        Dear Customer, your Unique Porting Code is AG659479 and the expiry date is[protected]. Please do not share this code with anyone other than the recipient operator personnel.

        Then i receive this message from vodafone thatis rejected by airtel

        Hello! Your Porting Request AG659479 dated 29Jun18 has been rejected by your current operator due to The Porting Code does not match the Donor allocated Porting Code for this number. Pls contact your current Operator for further details.'

        showing that poarting code is not same but these both poarting code is same.

Plan is working properly till 27 /6/18 after that shows I have no plan for anything when I check balance show one gb net but not working deducted my main balance.when I call on 198 for complaint call not connected by company.

              I have sumitted my complaont many times to customer care regarding to the poor netwro connection in my house. There is no 4g/ 3g network in our house and somtimes it comes and goes. I have 3 airtel connections in my family but we cannot use your services and we are very much troubled by it for over a month. I am sick of hearing the excuses about your solutions. I had tried all things which customer care personnel told me but nothing works. So I requested you to please solve our problem as soon as possible.

                Please note that every time i went to your barasat customer care outlet wb and the replaced my dongle sim without cancelling my previous sim connectivity but the said it will be deactivated automatically. No they are sending all bills as outstanding (But not used by me any way) — how can i pay such bills - please do the needful-
                The only sim i use this no..[protected] all other nos are not used by me-
                I paid the outstanding amount for - sim no [protected] rs 382. Please close it.
                2nd no [protected] rs 1196.. Please close it.
                Other due [protected] rs - 1100 is not used by me - close it.

                Sir, this is to inform u that i have broad band connection with land line no.[protected]. For last 15 days wi-fi /net get disconnect after 3-4 minutes or during any call attend by land line. I have already complained about it but problem still not resolved.

                  Sir i am using the service of airtel digital since last 4 yr but in october 2017 the company come to update my set up box with the new setup box at the cost of 250 which also consist a new warrenty on box for 1 yr but the box after 6 month get damanged and was unable to display via hdmi with is conform by my tv technician as well as a local technician but the company denied to echange it with a new fresh set up box after taking 250 for technician visit too

                  I am porting my number as your company has a problem with Muslims. If your company does not need a Muslim then I do not even need Airtel.

                    I have been overcharged as part of international roaming with a bill amount of 16000 inr. I have enabled the international roaming for 149 inr from my airtel app which do not provide any description and breakdown of the tariff.

                    I traveled on may 9th and on may 10th i got a msg stating you have used 3mb approx rs 2054 in international roaming and as a precaution the internet service will be blocked soon. I immediately turned off my mobile data and only used wifi services from the resort. Also i activated the data barring in international roaming was activated and i got the msg for the same. Inspite of this i got a bill amount of 16000 inr.

                    I do not know how this amount was arrived at and the charges was not mentioned anywhere on my airtel app and instead of turning off the data i was charged extra amount other than the initial bill amount of 2054 inr.

                    Airtel has fraudulently charged the extra amount and i need this to be waived.

                    Additionally they have been harassing me without any valid explanation on the bill amount no breakdown received so far. They have also blocked my outgoing calls as I denied to pay as I did not get clarity on the bill amount.

                    I have been a customer for the last 6 years and even to change an address with airtel is a nightmare.
                    Suddenly I lost connectivity with the airtel network today afternoon and I tried all the means of recovering it but i didn't find any result out of it.
                    everytime when i try to manually register on the network it says"your sim card cannot register on the network". I need to connect to my network as soon as possible

                    Using last 3 years I have been using airtel service but at this time not well customer support.it increase day by day customer complaint so I have decided to port my number from airtel services. This is a pathetic network and services shameless.
                    Without my request some facility added and debited my account Rs 100 . kindly reverse that amount and deactivate that facility immediately.

                      I have activated international roaming on my post paid connection on 25th may 2018 for a period of 10 days while visiting france. The international roaming pack for 10 days is rs.2999/- and for 30 days it is rs.3999/- since my trip is only for 10 days i chose the 10 days package and exactly on 4th june 2018 i boarded the return flight to chennai. Even during my visit i had used my phone only for one or two calls and did not send any sms at all.

                      While this being so airtel has auto renewed the ir package on 4th charging me another rs.2999/- plus gst and another rs.649/- which i do not know what for without any alert and any consent from my side.

                      When i contacted them they said it is as per the ir package for post paid connections and that i have got to pay.

                      If i had taken a prepaid connection they would not have charged me like this. Moreover when there is package for 30 days for rs.3999/- i. E. Just rs.1000/- more how can they renew for the 10 day tariff which is absolutely arbitrary to fleece the customer.

                        But i never opted for this service

                          Service request has been logged more than 6 months ago for no coverage of voice and data of 3g/4g in this area / society for indoor and outdoor. Airtel team confirmed multi pal time that there is some issue at there end, concern team is working on it your request has been on hold and will be resolved within 180 days. 180 days is already crossed and there in no improvement or proactive update from airtel on this ticket. Being customer we are paying the 3g / 4 g network charges since long but getting only 2 g data signal.

                          Address where this issue is faced is as below

                            Dear airtel,
                            It completely pains me to write this email to you in complete displeasure that being a very premium client of your services for more than four years and yet i am not all satisfied with your conduct and services rendered towards me,
                            This mail refers to an online purchase of handset (Galaxy note 8) bought at your online portal (www.airtel.in) with order id[protected] on down payment of rs.9490/- (Nine thousand four hundred and ninety only) through net banking by sbi bank a/c no (Confidential) dated 20.06.2018,
                            I was promised to have received the order and the handset at my billing address at lucknow, uttar pradesh by 25.06.2018.
                            It may completely surprise and shock both o[censored]s that i haven't received the order till date nor did i have any hopes of receiving it any time soon,
                            I have been informed that the package has been duly dispatched and should reach me by 25.06.2018. It was later informed (Not at all communicated earlier) that the package shall only be realised on my biometrics and delivered to me on time.
                            To a complete shock and surprise for both o[censored]s the delivery has been outsourced to a another company who by its conduct and act is completely irresponsible and non-professional in nature, the delivery person did not even pay a heed to reach me at my residence even once at my place though your portal and sms send on my registered no. Portrays that it was out for delivery on the very day. I received a call from the delivery person via his mobile no. (+91 [protected]) that the package cannot be delivered as their lies a online software malware by which the finger print scanner or the device of biometrics cannot be processed. Henceforth i have to visit their office for the same and collect the handset in person. I was in between a travel where i had to take up a urgent flight to lucknow and reached their office on 28.06.2018, with hopes to take up the package i was asked to wait for several hours and make numerous visits to the office all day long to receive the same, said number of calls were also made to the concerned zonal office heads and person in charge only to realise that same software malware is occurring from three days and hence package cannot be released i offered my self attested adhaar card in lieu of it but with no success and after eight hours of visits and waiting at the office i was asked to leave for it cannot be delivered or handed over to me. I am completely frustrated and saddened with your unruly and rude behaviour which i have received from you and your office employ which at times cannot be even defined in words.
                            I am left with no other option but to file a registered complaint against you over this and moreover a legal proceedings before the concerned hon'ble consumer forum in this regard for the physical displeasure/ mental trauma and agony i faced all day along and all these days
                            Its complete harassing someone to make numerous visits to office for receiving own parcel and package only to realise after three days of such mental harassment and trauma that nothing at all cannot be processed.
                            I hereby wish for an early disposal of the matter at your end and i look forward for your support over this before filing an official complaint and take appropriate legal proceedings and court case against you.

                            I am frequently getting sms informing that call charges for some duration is charged with Rs. 0.00, although no call was initiated.

                            Either this spam sms should be stopped or the service provider should give details of the calls.

                                I am writing this mail to let you know that my number is been activated with airtel lifestyle dressing room services with out my concern/knowledge on my mobile. Please deactivate it asap.

                                These services are automatically activated without my wish and amount getting deducted now @ ₹99 for 30 days.

                                Please stop this nuisance immediately and get back my money. Otherwise i will change/port all my family 4 connections & my close circle's 3 connections. Moreover if not satisfactory with your response i will seek legal help to face this now.

                                  Airtel has started value added service whatsmob without my consent and deducted money. This is unfair and illegal. Request to stop such practice and refund my deducted money.
                                  My mobile is prepaid.
                                  This has become a standard practice of airtel. Too many such complaints.
                                  If such practice continues, we will have no alternate except to leave airtel and go to some other company..

                                    I ported from vodafone to airtel which was ported successfully on 24th of june but incoming calls and messages not working, outgoing works perfectly only incoming call and message problem.
                                    I called airtel customer care and they said call divert is activated on my number, i checked there is no call divert activated on my phone.
                                    They are unable to resolve this.

                                      I am writing this after a huge disappointment from airtel services. They auto activated a pack of some 6t seconds wap by deducting some amount from my balance. I never initiated the requested for this.

                                      The worst thing is that when i tried calling customer services to stop this service and get the refund, was really annoyed on the failure to connect to their executive. The long list of the ivr options is just a pain in the # and that also when you are still not able to find your relevant option. I am trying to connect to them since yesterday afternoon.

                                      Other disappointment is the poorest network in a well-known location in chandigarh which is my work location.

                                      Really i never expected this kind of service from airtel.

                                        My airtel digital tv id no.[protected] was recharged for rs.357/- by using my netbanking facility on 24th june 2018, the very next day they have suspended my account. On seeing this, i called the customer care exceutive to know the details, they intentionally disconnect the the line without giving proper reply, again called them and hold about 20 minutes to attend the customer rep and finally one replied me that your recharged amount wrongly credited some unknown pack and recharge again to watch the channel, he also disconnect the line. Again i called them wasting my 45 minutes one customer rep on line told, the amount wrongly credited will be refunded within 24 hours,.
                                        Today is 28th june 2018 and today evening i tried several times, to call a rep but they disconnecting the line intentionally for not giving the reply. Kindly find the reason why these people are doing like this and take proper action against them
                                        Airtel customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.
