This is in reference to my earlier complaint dated 24/5/2018 regarding mobile no.[protected]. On pursuance of the same through customer care i was assured of refund of rs 249 within 7 days of the transaction. However no refund has been received till date. Added to this i received a call from a person who claimed to be the company representative asking me for my debit card details and also subtly asking for my bank balance. He also requested for removal of complaint from this forum.
Upon informing him that the transaction was through net banking and not through debit card he kept on insisting for debit card details.
If the company intends to refund should not the bank account number and ifsc details suffice? Why insistence on debit card details when transaction was not made through it.
I would be grateful if the matter is examined seriously and i am saved of further harrassment

    I've been using airtel 4g sim in my 4g enabled smartphone and i recharger with rs 448/- to get 1.4 gb free per day. Everything was going great. The internet data speed was awesome. But for past 3-4 days, the speed is way too low. Only able to refresh whatsapp and that too takes significant time. Speedtest. Mobi app showing download speed of around 0.1 mbps.

    Why all of sudden the speed got this low and that too for 3-4 days now?

      Hi,

      It has been really sad to observe the worst ever services from airtel with lame excuses. I bought an airtel secure plan in the month of apr'18.
      I have never been careless in my handling of the phone, however i met with an accident and my device got damaged due it. I applied for the claim and my device was picked up for inspection after verifying all my documents. Now after 10 days they come up with an excuse saying my battery is not genuine and it cannot be claimed. What a lame excuse. At the first place my battery is not removable and i have never faced a battery issue to give it for repair. I was following up with them to prove that my battery is genuine but they are not responding. Because the serial number on the battery cannot fool anyone if it's genuine.
      I have raised this issue with customer care multiple times over phone. Wrote multiple emails on this fraudulent excuses to skip the claim to the following email id's: [protected]@oneassist.in,
      [protected]@airtel.com, [protected]@airtel. Oneassist.in.
      But there is no response.
      I request you to look into concern as after 10 days of rigorous follow up i could register my claim and after 7days of picking the device, i have been told that claim connot be done. I have not taken this secure services from insurance provider and i dont want to hear their lame excuses. I am going to proceed with legal option if not taken my request seriously.

        I am an airtel post paid customer for last 10 years. I wanted to switch from post paid to pre paid mobile no[protected]. Therefore, i went to airtel store at bf 40, salt lake, kolkata 700 064. Today's was my 3 visit to thew store. There were no customer at the store. Person in-charge of the store was busy in his personal job. After half an our he attended me. After completing all formalities he told me to sign on a form. I put my signature on the form. Then he told that all the alphabet of the name are not part of signature, therefore this is not a valid signature and form can not be take. I am unable to understand why a store sales person can decide how i need to sign on form. It can be fill or in initials. If person like this fool become store in-charge to serve customer how he can survive. I appear that his only aim was to refuse me as i wanted to convert from post paid to prepaid.

        This type of mad person should be properly trained to deal with customer.

          I, kapil, am a customer of airtel prepaid for the last 5 years but not now i have been facing slow internet speed since last 10 days. I have complained so many time but nobody is giving me precise reason behind the problem. The sim's network automatically changes from 4g to 3g despite i have selected only 4g (Lte) network. So, kindly please resolve my grievance as soon as soon.

            Hello,

            I am not getting any information how to get a new airtel tower installed
            In our new premises of nearly 440 bunglow township near salokh tarf waredi, karjat, raigad.

            I have tried airtel.in website also to contact them but it was all a waste of
            Time. We need internet connections & mobile sim networks there very badly.
            4g network is reccomended.

            Please do needful.

              I'm using airtel postpaid number [protected]. I want to convert it to prepaid. I have visited airtel office several times. But they always ask to come after some days.

              Its over a month i'm trying to convert my postpaid to prepaid but still no converted yet. I also written emails to [protected]@in. Airtel.com but i didn't get any response yet.

              I'm not sure what i should do now.

                I am unable to recharge mob. No. [protected]. I have purchased the mobile airtel sim no. [protected] by submitting my aadhar and finger authorization by paying amount.in the due course airtel debiting some amount with my concurrence but the was balance available.in the due course i was sick and so i was not using my mobile [protected] for few weeks. When i wanted to recharge for rs.498.00 but the airtel not accepted my recharge option. I have taken the issue to airtel dealer but they did not solve the problem. So i request to resolve the issue.

                  I am using airtel account for more than 13 years. Last 3-4 months, i am getting messages regarding activation of value added services (Vas). I have not requested any services but suddenly receiving messages and charged against my bill.

                  I had registered a complaint to airtel and they said once deducted it can not be refunded.

                  This is practically impossible to call customer support or mail to stop the service and get a waiver off. Also services will renew every week if not monitoring and deactivating the services.

                  Yesterday and today also two different service got activated and charged rs.200. I have not requested for this service (Didn't send any mail or call or sms for activation). Also i have not clicked any add in web pages. But customer care said it might be because i clicked an add accidentally to activate the vas. But there is no proof of my acknowledgement for vas.

                  This is second time i'm facing such issues. Already 4-5months back, i have complained for the same subject. That time customer care told that they will resolve it and it will not happen again. But failed. They refuse to refund the deduction. I wish to lodge a complaint to have a solution and refund of my hard earned money.

                      I tried calling customer care of airtel and registering a complaint with regards to my internet (4g). I'm not getting internet at all, i thankfully have a vodafone sim in my mobile as well, coz of which i'm able to use it. Please let me know if this can be fixed by tomorrow.                         This is with reference to airtel postpaid ([protected]) bill number[protected] dated 27-may-2018 and bill period 26-apr-2018 to 25-may-2018.

                        In my recent bill summary for may 2018 (Billing number :[protected], i can see rs.649 added extra in my billing. When i look at the bill details i can see the pack "international roaming daily limit pack [protected]@649 with ul incoming nrc", activated on 11-may-2018. But i haven't activated this pack on my own. Could you please let me know how is pack has been activated for my number without my notice or permission.

                            I rarely get any network on my number at both office as well as home and even in other areas . Voice breaks during call. Many times my number is not reachable.
                            And today after rain it has been 6 hourse there is not network.
                            It is not oy with me but also the other airtel users .
                            Please resolve the issue else i will port to other telcom service.

                              I was receiving frequent message on my air tell no. To upgrade my sim to 4g free of cost, by 02/06/2018. It was being advised to contact nearby air tell office.in the message it has been mentioned that if not done the upgradation till the advised date, the net services will be discontinued.
                              I visited the local jhajha, distt jamui bihar office on 31/05/2018. I was rudely asked to pay rs.30/- for upgradation of sim. On a huge argument, the service provider sent a message from my mobile & handed over a sim for 4g to me. He further advised that the sim is to be replaced, when the net data is discontinued for old sim. However, i received a message late in evening about an error in the sim.
                              I visited the office today, & was shocked by the rude behavior of the office staff by denying to provide me the requisite services. More ever, he used, not to be mentioned by any civilized person, filthy words, threatening even of dire consequences.
                              Hence this is a humble request to enquire into the matter by the sail representative team if airtell

                                  I visited airtel store near by hanuman hotel sion there is help n desk there is a guy who sitting he actually resting there i asked him about airtel 93 plan detail but he provided me wrong information that this plan will not work in roaming i need to buy 199 plan for roaming and i told him to recharge that 199 plan so he says that it is not possible my system is not working
                                  Actually every time i seen that airtel store employees response is very worst and wrong

                                    I was unable to send or recieve any messages to my number [protected] and i changed sms center number too which didnt work and i have sent a mail to [protected]@airtel.com. But i was replied with this mail is not authorised to the number and when i went for authorisation and registeration. They had send an otp to the number but as i was not receiving any messages i couldnt get the otp

                                      I had a wi-fi dongle for an internet connection from airtel; despite numerous requests, they never sent a paper bill for monthly usage of data; they used to send the last day threatening text message for paying the bill; while i was admitted to a hospital last august, as per their usual practice they did not send the bill & cut off the connection. For obtaining the connection i had to purchase the dongle for rs.4, 000/- which is of no use to me; i sent them numerous letters including an advocate's legal notice but they are not paying any attention to any of the correspondence thus putting a senior citizen to unnecessary loss of rs.4000/- besides great inconvenience; if this complaint is not solved i will have no alternative but to approach the consumer grievance forum.

                                        The calls can't be made or received at many places inspite of repeated complaints to airtel specially in pin codes in and around700069.
                                        My office is located at this pin code and airtel is replying that the network is working fine but in our chambers we can't use our mobile phones at all. This is since october-november 2017 after we poted out from vodafone to airtel. Vodafone was charging us heavily and had charged lots for international calls when isd was deactivated after the porting out request was made.
