I recently ported over to Airtel from Idea and chose the 1.4 GB data per day plan. At the start i received excellent data speeds. But since the last 10 days i am getting very slow data speeds. Sometimes i am unable to even browse the internet.
I have registered several complaints by calling CUSTOMER CARE but still no resolution has been provided.You ###ing people claim to have the fastest data speeds and deceive your customers by providing slow speeds once they have recharged. ### you ###. You bloody cheaters.

    Sir/madam, since aircel stopped operating I ported my aircel number [protected] to airtel on 24th March, 2018. It's been 18 days but not activated till now and facing problems for not having a working phone number. Please activate it as soon as possible.

      Complaint to airtel consumer forum online dtd april 11, 2018

      Under extreme inconvenience & tolerance for over a month now, i would like to lodge a complaint against airtel fixed line services.
      We have been using this line at the egyptian consulate tourism office, mumbai. The line has been inactive/ dead for over a month even after daily requests on tel / email. Daily i receive automated call backs from a different associate after my emails, saying the problem will be escalated. Even false promises were made, that a tecnician will visit our office to technically verify & restore. This shows there is no real interest to actually resolve problems
      All bills have been clear upto date & latest are :
      Bill no[protected] dt 3.2.2018 paid 16.2.2018 by chq no 128601 rs 22866.62
      Bill no[protected] dt 9.3.2018 paid 27.03.2018 by chq no 128598 rs 454.88

      The above last amount was paid although the line was inactive. We were asked for confidential documents like diplomatic passport, protocol id card with photo proof of the owner of office who is a egyptian diplomat. I strongly will spread the word around & cannot recommend airtel as a service provider to anyone if this is the service we are put through.
      Today another demand was received by an unofficial sms, asking for weird verification documents like incorporation certificates, confidential government agreements, other inhouse utility bills & purchase orders totally irrelevant to us, after using this line for 10 years!!
      Prior to this we did not even receive any bill hardcopies from sept 2017-jan 2018.in february on investigating at the gallery, i was shocked to hear that the line had gone into e-bill mode even though no such request was made by us.
      This is hugely unprofessional to still receive continuous bills when a line is inactive & demands to supply different documents at different times with no single point of contact, no connection between your departments and still the line remains inactive till date. A case of extreme irresponsibility and fabricated lies on the part of airtel which is a waste of our time being a part of diplomatic & foreign services under protection & surveillance of officers of consular police.
      Just what is the way forward to receive justice on this pathetic issue? We await an immediate clearcut solution as a corporate customer

        I had one hot shot of airtel postpaid no.[protected]
        One ladytone from airtel for new scheme replacing existing one
        She sent some boy with airtel id card
        I cleared the bill upto the date 17 feb 2018 for rs 850.
        He gave me a new sim card and told to discard old one
        Address was verified by visit of another person
        After one hour new sim card hotspot[protected] was activated.
        Thereafter i am using the later one only and paying bills at right times.

        Now regularly different persons phoning me and demanding to pay against the first sim card that is not in use.

        Please do not pester after me to pay for what i am not availing the service as per airtel staff.

          I did a recharge of rs. 509 first on[protected]. Due to network error the transaction was not completed and i did nit get any message. So after waiting for 2 hours i did a second recharge of rs. 509 and this time it was successful. Unfortunately after 3 hrs i got the successful recharge message of the first transaction!! It was a double recharge. Please kindly make a refund of the first transaction

            Hello,
            I want to report a complaint against airtel telecom, that my phone number has been charged for the following services without my knowledge:
            1) askadoctor - twice for rs 30 each
            2) gamezine - once for rs 75
            I had requested the askadoctor service to be stopped when the first time it occurred, but it has been billed again, and gamezine has also been billed.
            I want the amount credited back to me.
            I have 3 airtel sims in my family, and i would switch to jio or any other operator if this isn't solved as soon as possible.

            In the attached pictures, you can see the transaction number and date, and for any other information you may contact me.

              I have converted my mobile to prepaid from postpaid in kothrud pune airtel office. I have paid all dues then and there. Now i have got a bill to pay around hyperlink 675. Rs. When i did inquiry in airtel office guy is telling there was outstanding amount for one day.

              This is utter cheating.in same office i was told that i have cleared my dues when i made payment.

              When i converted from postpaid i was having. 16gb data available. Kindly check for all records and get back

                Hello. I bought a new Airtel sim about a week ago. I did not receive any call or email regarding its activation. Im also having problems in recharging it. Whenever i try recharging it from the My Airtel app it does not complete the transaction. This is really frustrating.

                  Last week 4th april 2018 vas service "ask my doctor" was activated without my prior consent. Called customer care service regarding the same but no use.
                  They refused to repay me saying that "you have activated it via internet".
                  I have told that no gprs/internet is activated on this no "airtel [protected]".
                  How can any airtel service provider activate the service without proper consent o[censored]ser?
                  Rs30 of activation + rs15 of renewal they have charged on this number.
                  This matter is really very much critical and looks like fraud as many more people may have faced the same thing of vas getting activated.

                    I have 3 mobile phone connections with airtel ([protected], [protected] & [protected]) in my house address (House no.17-b, pocket-b7, mayur vihar-3, delhi-110096). After 14th january, 2016, we have not getting network connectivity of airtel in my house. For making a call, we have to go 20/25 meters away from the house. That is why we have not getting any sms in the house. For which i have made complaints to airtel and received reply from them. (Copies of letters attached). Please note, before 14th jan 2016, the connectivity is very fine and we have not any complaints for the same. Currently, there is no network connectivity in my home on other two numbers also.

                    Please note, we have linked the mobiles with respective adhaar ids in the month of december 2017. Although, non-availability of network connectivity, we have been recharging mobile nos.[protected] & [protected]. Mobile no.[protected] have not been recharging due to this phone is using my wife in the home. This number is also linked with her other documents, accounts etc.

                    We have tried to port this number with vodafone but non-availability of network and not getting the sms, we fail to do so. Then we take a new connection from vodafone for residence use.

                    Now this number [protected] is issued to another person in delhi for the last 2 months. You are requested to please advice airtel to get back this number in my name as soon as possible.

                      Raise complaints since last two year but no resolution has been provided moving further now they have barred the services, sent several mails to nodal officer, applleate authorities, no person is bothered to reply atleast after raising several complaints i have stopped paying bills.

                      Raising complaints since august 2017 srn no. Are 78876699 and 84273911.

                      I just wanted to port the services but due pending issues no able to port.
                      Airtel customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.
                      I had recharged 140 rupees which should give me a talktime of 137 rupees. I have been shown that recharge is successful as a text message but it is not added to my previous balance. I need that money back as I have my right to that money.

                        I ordered samsung galaxy s9 via airtel website, which has an ongoing offer for the customers. I ordered it on 01 april 2018 and made down payment of 9900 inr. The handset was supposed to get delivered to me on 07 april 2018. The delivery guy arrived however, while he was doing my kyc his airtel app via which he does the process showed "internal error"' when he input my sim number. Later they asked me to wait for a day and confirmed that the issue will be resolved. However, its been 3 days and i have no update on my order. I haven't received the phone and my money is stuck with them. They give the reason that my sim is postpaid. However that doesn't make any sense as their terms & conditions stated that the number can be ported.
                        I have attached reference for the clause in t&c.
                        Please get my handset delivered at the earliest.

                          Airtel have charge me rs 50 on 10 april 2016 at 06:00 am for superstore service.
                          After talk with customer care they told me the service is active by internet & they can't t refund my money as its more than 24hr of service activation so i am not eligible for refund.
                          I have not used my mobile for any purpose from 1am to 6am, also my mobile internet was not active at that time. Airtel have activate service without my consent.
                          If airtel does not solve it & refund me i have to transfer my number other other operator using mnp. This is not the first time airtel activate service without my consent its happen before.
                          Below is the service activation msg i received : super store service has been activated @ rs50.0 for 15day (S). Txn id s[protected], 10apr18 06:00. Service will be renewed after validity expiry. To use, click http://m.hungama.com (Data charges apply). To deactivate, call or sms stop to 155223. More services? Call 56789
                          So look in to this matter.

                            I have 1gb per day plan, i always keep my phone on airplane mode at night so that my data should remain in the morning, but even this, when i chech my data in the morning, it shows 40 of data is used.
                            I am tracking it from last 10 days.
                            Also when sometimes i don't use data all day & start downloading at night 10 pm, it doesn't show tower, if shown, doesn't shows receiving speed.
                            Airtel is stealing customers data, as customers have already paid in advance so they think where will they, customers have to stick till the plan ends.

                            I have 1gb per day plan, I always keep my phone on airplane mode at night so that my data should remain in the morning, but even this, when I chech my data in the morning, it shows 40% of data is used.
                            I am tracking it from last 10 days.
                            Also when sometimes I don't use data all day & start downloading at night 10 pm, it doesn't show tower, if shown, doesn't shows receiving speed.
                            Airtel is stealing customers data, as customers have already paid in advance so they think where will they, customers have to stick till the plan ends.
                            Airtel is data stealing company. Fake promises, fake open networks.
                            I want to recharge my airtel prepaid no from my main account balance. But they are not allowing me to do. I have contacted to customer care they are telling me to recharge from retailer.
                            i have balance in my main account still i cant recharge from that.
                            Automatically Rs 120 has been deducted due to unexpected services, such as whatsmob and masti pack, plz stp this and return my balance back. Thanks

                              My postpaid number is pending for activation for 4 days now after a sim upgrade. Called customer care 10+ times. Visited airtel retail stores 4 time in total. Issue has not been resolved still.

                              Here is the chronology of events:

                              [[protected] ] 11:30am - visited airtel store to convert from postpaid to prepaid. Completed the formalities and got a new sim.

                              [[protected]] 12:30pm - received a call from airtel with an offer to retain me in postpaid. I accepted the offer. I was told the conversion to prepaid will be cancelled.

                              [[protected]] 1.00pm - i went to the airtel store to upgrade to a 4g sim. The airtel store gave me a new sim.

                              [[protected]] 3.30pm - my old sim got deactivated. New sim was not activated

                              [[protected]] 5.30 pm - visited airtel kasturi nagar, bangalore and enquired about the sim not being activated. I was asked to wait for an hour.

                              [[protected]] 7.30 pm - visited airtel kasturi nagar, bangalore and enquired about the sim not being activated. I was told it will get activated before midnight.

                              [[protected]] 10.00am - called airtel customer care from a different number and enquired about activation. The floor supervisor promised resolution within 24 hours.

                              [[protected]] 3.30pm - took a new airtel prepaid connection as i started suspecting that the issue may not get resolved anytime soon.

                              [[protected]] 10.00am - sim still not activated. Called airtel customer care and enquired about activation. Was promised that it has been escalated with highest priority and should get resolved by 10.00pm.

                              [[protected]] 10.30pm - sim still not activated. Called airtel customer care and enquired about activation. The floor manager promised resolution at the earliest.

                              [[protected]] 11.30pm - sim still not activated. Visited airtel stores kasturi nagar and enquired about activation. The customer care executive spoke with someone and promised resolution within 2 hours. Took his mobile number to enquire incase the resolution doesnt happen.

                              [10-04=2018] 2.00pm - sim still not activated. Called up the customer care executive. He promised to call me back in 15 minutes.

                              [[protected]] 3.00pm - since there was no callback from the executive, called him again. He promised resolution within 30 minutes.

                              [[protected]] 4.30pm - sim still not activated. Called the customer care executive. He disconnected my called. Called him around 5 to 6 times every 5 minutes. After being fed up, he picked the call and said he cannot do anything about it and that i have to wait for some more time.

                              [[protected]] 6.30pm - lost hope that the kasturi nagar branch executive would resolve the problem. Visited airtel koramangala stores. The customer care executive gave me a new sim and promised that it will get activated within 2 to 4 hours.

                              [[protected]] 10.30pm - sim still not activated. Called up customer care and the same old answer that it will get resolved within a day.

                              [[protected]] 5.15am - called up customer care. Since the servers were down, the status cannot be checked was the answer from the executive.

                              Fingers crossed.

                                  Rs 25 deducted from my airtel mobile number [protected] when i was sleeping even i didn't touch the phone when call customers service they told me some kind of valu added service has been activated on my mobile.. I demand for the refund as i didn't activate any kind of value added service. They told me sorry refund couldn't possible.. Now what can i do???

                                    Today i received a sms from airtel stating that lifestyle service has been activated on my mobile and money was deducted from talktime. This was done without my consent. I. E. Without my request or my acceptance. This is not expected from a international company like airtel. Taking a talktime without consent or without acceptance is like a pocketmar.
                                    I want my deducted talktime to be returned at earliest.
                                    Airtel customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.
                                    I live in bangalore (kengeri) and for some reason for the past few months the 4g net is absolutely garbage. This is serious for me as a student. And should be dealt as quickly as possible.

                                      Vas/cinemasti activated on my number [protected] at night 1.55am, without my consent/ permission, and deducted rs. 99.00 from my balance rs.206.00. I am surprised to know that airtel is cheating their customers in this way. I had never asked to activate any vas on my number. As soon as i came to know the activation, i have unsubscribed from your cinemasti service. I request you to revert my amount which you have deducted from my balance without my permission/consent. Otherwise i will be forced to take legal action against airtel, not only for unauthorised deduction but also wasting my time and giving me mental torture.

                                        Connection [protected] is postpaid connection. As per policy this should get surplus data forwarded to next cycle. I have 100gb of surplus data. Still i have been wrongly charged 500 rs. On registering complain with airtel customer care. I have been asked to pay total payment, also i have informed this will get adjusted in next billing cycle. But after 2 billing cycle it has not yet adjusted. Below are transactions details: 05-dec-2017 to 04-jan-2018 899.38 rs (500 rs been charged extra) 05-jan-2018 to 04-feb-2018 1, 613.09 rs (714.42 current + 899.38 previous [no adjustment made]) 05-feb-2018 to 13-feb-2018 1, 001.78 rs (905 rs as partial payment done as per instruction) i have been entitled to pay only 411.69 rs. Additional note # as per customer care this is known technical issue. But this is going on for past several months. I request to take strong action against such fraudulent cases.
