I had given my number for porting to airtel (2 connections) from docomo through corporate connection. The service and experience has been really horrible. 1st kyc was done on 29th jan 2018 and then address verification was made negative since we are working and i had clearly mentioned that we will not be at home during offfice hours. Though the landlord confirmed for our address, it was still marked negative. Later, i had to follow up multiple times with office counter to get the status changed for pending verification. Again, the person came during office hours though i had told to come before 9 am or after 6 pm. Since i didnt want to go through the process again, i went from office to home to complete the address verification. He said all is fine and we should be good now. Though the verification for both the porting requests/numbers was done at the same time, they rejected 1 and approved 1.
Again after a week, when i encountered in my office airtel counter, he said kyc had to be done again. Inspite of second kyc being done, it is again marked as negative. Now the same process. Again asking for kyc. Really fed up with the service you guys provide. I am really surprised to know you are one of the top mobile service providers in india. Horrible service during porting itself.
I am considering moving all my family members on airtel to a different network.
