Its been 3 weeks since i asked to upgrade my 3g to 4g and yet its not able to upgrade i asked the store to help me with my issueand they told me to go to airtel office. They said that the sim registered was from a different person so i asked them to change it to mine, the people from the office told me to wait for 1 week and there is still no changes. I hate you airtel

    I got micro sim for my existing airtel no. [protected] on 22nd feb after inserting the new sim it was showing no sim detected and also tried in other headset but it didnt work. And i went and same airtel store (Vidyaranapura) they checked the new sim provides and told that it was a defective sim and provided me with new sim on 24 th and told that it would be activated in 4 hours but nothing happend still they have not actived the number. I have visited the store 4 times but still it is not done. Pls do the need full its been 2days that my sim is inactive. And no postive respose

      This is the support i got from airtel for an international roaming bill compliant i have registered.

      I have been to italy in november last week and first week of december. The day i landed (25th november) i used my mobile for informing my parents about my safe reach as i haven't inserted my matrix sim that i bought from airport. After 2 days, on 28th i received a call from airtel customer care excutive informing about an ir plan which cost me only 649 rupees and i have utilized on the day i arrived. Having a discussion about 5-7 minutes i said ok to activate the plan, if that's free of cost. I was so happy that airtel gave me free so dead cheap ir plan.

      After a month i have received bill of 14k rupees. So, i have opened a case with airtel on the same to check why i have charged a huge amount of bill. I have called the airtel customer care and asked why i have charged so m8uch, that person infirmed the plan that was activated is per day plan not onetime plan, which was a wrong information provided by the customer care executive when i was in italy. I have explained the same to the person and he said he can see some miscalculations and he will open a case and revert me back.

      After few days, i new bill got generated with 9k and they have informed me that i was charged double for few days and they reverted it back. (Same kind of issue has been faced by one of my colleague when he has been for france, he was charge double) if someone doesn't pay attention, will be end up paying amount that they are not supposed to.

      Now i have asked them on the call that i have received on the 28th of november 2017. I have requested them to listen to the recordings about the information i was provided over the call and i am sure that the prson told me its one time charge but never informed me that its onetime per day. Remember i have my matric sim with me for communication. After several calls and escalation to higher level and nodel department, they have said the statement since you have used airtel services during your visit you have to pay. They were reluctant to go ahead and check the call that i have received. I have told them that i am ready to pay around 4k but not 9k as i have used the services that i have used because of the wrong information that i have been provided by someone from airtel customer care executive.

      They have barred my incoming calls thrice. And i ahd to wall to airtel store to get that fixed. The third time they have confirmed that they wont be activating the services until unless i pay the bill of 10k. I have been without incoming calls for around 2 days and i had to pay the bill which i shouldn't be paying.

      It took almost 2 months and i have been charged late payment fee for both the months even there was a dispute in the old bills.

      Resolution: airtel should reverse the bill generated for all the ir charges that i used for the period from 28th november to 8th decmeber and the late payment fees that were levied.

        On feb 2nd 2018 i submitted my all the documents to airtel office jayanagar to migrate my no. From postpaid to prepaid, they have given me new sim saying within 2 days of time it will be done & i have to clear my all the balance pending till 2nd feb2018. They told me 640 rs is due. I paid that bal online. They said to wait for 2 days u ll get a call from cust care. I waited 1 week & didt recieve any call... Again i visited again they asked all the story & said ur 500 unbilled amount is there & u have to clear the bal 1st & then ur docs can be processed further. They were not ready to migrate my no. Before paying the 500 unbilled amount which i never used & they have forced me to pay the 500 unbilled amount. Still they have dragged me for 3more weeks to get it done after migrated to prepaid they forgot my 500rs and not willing to refund after several complaints & visits

        Airtel customer care in jayanagar blr branch are pathetic& least bothered to help the customer care specially when its closing time. I visited there to migrate my postpaid no to prepaid on 2nd feb2018. I submitted all the required docs & paid the bill till 2nd feb2018 there itself. They issued me new sim card saying it will be activated in 2 days & i shd receive a call on that. After waiting for 1 week again i visited there then they have come up with unbilled amount of 500 rs & confirmed that once i get my prepaid done this bal will be credited to me & forced me to pay that amount before that they were not ready to migrate my no to prepaid. I paid, they said to wait for 2 more days. After calling several times to customer care they were not able to ans that why its delaying. After they have dragged my issue to 3 more weeks. I was doubting this before only that, because they are not willing to give my overpaid 500rs bal they are dragging it for 3more weeks simply. Now finally i got my prepaid after 3weeks & as expected they are saying no to my 500 rs, as its delayed from cust care’s end i need my 500 rs bal back, i also want to complain for the ignorance of my mail several times & dragging just to eat my 500 rs. Please help me asap

          I got message on my mobile saying ' international roaming rentall rs.99/- deducted from your account.
          I am abroad in uae for few months, but this is the 1st time, my charges got deducted. Why this deduction?

          Also, i am making sure that i do 'outgoing' call atleast once in 2 months to avoid falling my number in 'non usage of 90 days' clause.

          Can you please explain this?

            At my resident there are no network for 2g also. I register my complaint more than three times to open network but very that was very bad experience for me they didn't revert any feedback. My complaint no. Is "81447596"

            And also very bad experience with airtel gallery at ambarnath (E) shiv mandir road. Dist. Thane. Wanted to do one of my number post-paid to prepaid, i completed all necessary process, i cleared all dues for that and purchase a new sim worth rs. 25/- in cash, after that they told me to do first recharge worth rs. 269/- or 279/- something in cash, i don't remember exact amount right now just because i completed this process on last week of january 2018 & now it's 24th feb. 2018. And whenever i visited to airtel gallery for this issue, they just answer me we will confirm you within half n hours or 2 hours ect. But till date they do nothing. I am also told them that i am not going to pay further post-paid bills.

            Such a very very very very very very... Bad experience & very bad service at airtel gallery in ambarnath (E)

              My airtel number [protected] is not working at all.. Dont know wether it has been deactivated or what? Ironically the said number was used for ipad essentially for data download... Since in kashmir there is still a hip-hop between 2g-3g-4g... There is lot of confusion... Finally started using the sim on my mobile for calls... Over almost one month its not working... Nor is there any message from service provider informing any issues..

              May airtel plz let me know problem & the remedies...

                This is sudarshan shrivastava and i am create a airtel payment wallet and add rs 2600 at time but the matter is that i can't debit my money from this and also can't pay for anything by my wallet
                They freeze my account wallet
                Firstly i will add 2500 in wallet and then redeem it is easily redeem bit at second time they will not get response on my matter and there is no any customer care helpline to give complain or feedback about their services

                    I'm arul, an airtel prepaid customer since more than 12 years. I recently upgraded my old 2g mobile to a new moto e4 4g handsett gifted to me by a friend who purchased it from u. S. A. Initially my 2g sim was not recognized & i was getting the error "sim card is not from verizon wireless". Though i had few troubles in recognition of my 2g sim i successfully overcame by altering the settings myself. I was able to make calls & receive incoming calls.

                    In the meantime as per the advice of a specialist from airtel customer care i got a 4g sim from an airtel showroom nearby. I sent an sms indicating the new sim no.in the format recommended to 121. I also subsequently confirmed the request by sending '1' as the sms to '121'. This happened on feb 23rd night around 11 pm. Next day morning around 6:30 pm as they told me my previous/existing sim got disconnected. I entered the new 4g sim at 6:40 am. As per their promise, in 4 hrs the new sim (With same mobile no.) should have been activated within 10:40 am. It's 12:40 pm now but still not yet activated. Sent my concern via e-mail care. Still no reply... Hence i was forced to resort to raising the issue in this forum. Hope its resolved asap with a reason & apology for the delay.

                      My no is [protected] since past two months i am getting bill for services which i have not asked these services automatically get activated and i get charged like cineservices, etc these services are adde without my consent
                      This is happening almost eveyday and i am being charged the amount wiyhout my consent inspite of myrepeated reques no action is taken till date

                          I have sent multiple sms on 19th feb 2018 for 2 different no of airtel in order to get the last 6 months call details as i need to submit it in the honorable court as an evidence however till date i haven't received it as far as tat is concerned after the messages sent is about 24 hour. Post which i have registered my complaint where the csr stated that i have taken your complaint will surely act on it and will send you the required details and gave me the ref no as : cibil[protected] however then to i didn't got it. Then on 22nd feb 2018 again i have called on toll free no and said still i didn't received it after lodging my complaint so the representative was like you just a request you never complained i said i did and i have the reference no with, i shared it with her then she said its just a request now i am taking your complaint however it will now take 72 hrs to complete it i said i need this as an evidence to submit it in front on honorable court but she was like sorry you have to wait. Please help me we all can wait but court cannot wait and being innocent i will be punished by honorable court for unnecessary things which i have never committed. Recent ref # ribil[protected] i have a hearing on 1 march i just have couple of days in my hand i need it asap so that i can save myself

                            I don't why they activated a service called gamepind, and they are also auto renewing it.
                            Today i see that they give me a message on 22 december from that time this is happening, i also see other messages informing same and auto renewing the service.
                            It's basically impossible for us to check our inbox all the time.
                            I surely know that they are doing this intensel.
                            I want proper handling in this matter.

                                Meri yeh compalin plesase accept kariye wo admi muslim hai baadi si dhaadhi bhi hai usko.

                                  Hi,
                                  I have raised a request around 2 weeks back to convert my postpaid plan to prepaid plan but till now the conversion process is still in progress. Since 3 to 4 days when i am trying to call i have been getting a message saying "your document verification is in progress. It will be activated in 30 mins". Its becoming hard for me as i have to attend many office calls. My airtel retailer is not at all bothered and when i approach them they are saying they dont know the status, and when i call airtel customer care they are raising complaint numbers which are of no use. I request airtel to resolve my situation as soon as possible.

                                    I got this airtel mo. From pondicherry. Currently my son aadharsh girish is using this in bangalore. Sine last night he iost airtel connection signal its not restored till now.
                                    He is in bangalore now near itpl main rd,
                                    Kindly help me as he is unable to contact my family or even book cabs to visit a airtel show room.

                                      I have been using airtel - [protected] from last 7or 8years and from last 1year i am facing network issues and voice breaks during calls. This began even worse after switching to 4g. I'm using both airtel network sims ([protected]) from last 4years. This is the worst situation i have been facing with your poor network. With you high availability network you have large scale of customers, but right now after jio your services went poor, your network went poor, your data & calls are worst.

                                      I have raised this issues previously, but there is no response and no corrective action taken. But still you're charging higher than other networks.

                                      If this continues you may face large scale of downfall of customers in near future.

                                      For your information i have been staying in locations nanakramguda, gachibowli (Hyderabad) to resolve this issue.

                                      I am in Pune on Airtel 3G I still do not get strong signal of Airtel. I use my phone only on 2G. That's the only outdated technology that works in India.

                                      With 3G voice call drops and internet also drops intermittently.
                                      Airtel always has had these problems for a long time. They just don't admit it.

                                        I am currently using an airtel postpaid connection. But i find it slightly expensive and hence wanted to shift to airtel prepaid. So i went to airtel office in electronic city, bengaluru. So the first time, the staff sends me away saying that we are out of sim cards... Outage of daily cap has happened. Now i don't know how far true that was.
                                        Anyway, so i went there again and they say"you should come before 6pm... Can't help you now." what sort of a behavior is this? Will somebody tell me a more convenient way to shift to prepaid??

                                        Ps : the exact address of that office:
                                        16, neeladri rd, karuna nagar, electronics city phase 1, electronic city, bengaluru, karnataka 560100.

                                        Please take some action against them. This is not the way to trear your customers. I won't think twice before shifting to vodafone if they give me better service
