Sir,
I had travelled to dubai on 28.1.2018 and backed to india on 01.02.2018.

I want to mention here that i had not requested for international roaming. But airtel had deducted rs.99/- from my balance charging "international roaming".

I had contacted local outlet of airtel at pratap nagar, jaipur on 12.2.2018 but their reply was not at all logical. They said "if you visit abroad, you will have to pay"international roaming"no matter you have not requested for international roaming. You have to pay"international roaming".

After some time i contacted 121 of airtel and i got the same reply.

I request your good office to please look into the matter and refund me rs.99/- deducted towards"international roaming" may please be refunded to me at earliest.

    I got a message from airtel on 13th feb 2018 12:52pm mentioning that namkeen pack services has been activated on my phone for 1 week and they would be adding rs 35 in my bill for a week and this would be automatically renewed every week. On calling airtel, to know what the service is all about becuase i never raised this activation request, they are saying that they dont have information about it as it is 3rd party service. But i got the message immediately that they deactivated it. I really dont understand that how come airtel does not information about the service they can activate or deactivate. They say that i would have clicked on an advertisment or something and the service got activated but airtel has no information.

    My concerns are
    1. What is that service all about
    2. How did the value added service got activated without my consent

    I am Using Airtel Since 2018. Now Iam Facing lot network and call drop problems. and internet issue also. its always says the no ... out out coverage area. i am at staying 563101 PIN code Town about 3 Km.. solve the problem as soon as possible. thank you.

        Bill payment on airtel website does not allow paise.

        The reason online payment and transactions are made is to transact in paise and decimals. However airtel website has been build in a very clever way to cheat customers. Bills are generated involving paise and when customer tries to input same in the amount due the bill amount gets rounded off to a higher denomination. My bill dated dec 2017 is for amount rs 709.60 but while trying to make payment in their website the due amount taken is rs 710/-. An excess of 40 paise is cleverly moved to airtel.

        As a customer i do not want to pay anything excess and wait for a month so that same can be adjusted in my future bills.

        This is a huge malpractice as they have a large client base. The entire process is at the moment involving in few paise but if i look at the whole picture you can be handling hundreds of customers like me where you are fraudulently making money by charging extra be it in paise or rupee and in the end while closing off the mobile account you might not even return anything back as the customer might overlook this negligible amount in paise.

        I hope this is taken on a stringent note and airtel update their so called "technical glitch" else a legal action needs to be called for.

          Dear Nodal,

          I have complaints several times for connection errors on my dth connection number provided on subject line. I find connection errors for some sports channels and I have registered complaints for the same but I been wrongly committed by ur call executives also I have not received any complaint number. Please take strong action against those people for misguiding customers. I guess not taking correct action against the complaints received from customer, making false commitments etc is harmful for the image that company has established in market. Please take corrective steps and provide good services to the customers also resolve their complaints in the right spirit.

            My 3G mobile was recharged on 1 February last for unlimited package of Rs 349.00 with a validity of 28 days.Today after 12 days only, I am not able to phone from my mobile outside and all the time I have to hear an audio message that " your balance is insufficient for an outside call.I was advised to recharge additionally for Rs 10./ for making emergency call outside." And almostfor the whole day I could not make at all any call outside . I tried to contact their executive on "121" but here also the connection disconnected on the ground that there is not the sufficient balance to make an outside call.

            The same thing happened in the last recharge period also and after taking loan of Rs 10/ and again recharging for Rs 30./I could talk to the executive and the package recharge of Rs 349/ came into effect. But unfortunately, the remaining balance after readjusting the loan of Rs 10/ had been eaten away this time due to my overlooking in the present recharge period which is still valid till 28.02.2018 .
            I would like to raise the point that even though the prepaid recharge is valid, Airtel is audacious enough to stop the phone service and deduct my balance without any right whatsoever.
            I request the august body to look into the matter and restrain the service provider from repeating this heinous crime and also to refund the balance deducted for the calls already made despite having a privilege o[censored]nlimited call from my mobile.

              Dear Ms. Sarita Singh,

              With respect your trailing mail, as requested & suggested by your good self, I have been trying to get my SIM changed, unfortunately I have done this process twice

              As per your suggestion I went for the process twice but there seems to an issued at your end on processing my request.

              Furthermore, As communicated, despite me not willing to pay the Bill due to unsatisfactory services, I had to make a payment due to the fact that my services were stopped.

              I also happened to visit your Airtel Store in Sector 10, Bhilai, Chhattisgarh; When I made them aware of the problem regarding the network issues and SIM change, their reply was “Sir Kindly go to the Airtel Store where You got your SIM from, they are the ones who can solve your problem, not us”, As per their suggestion I raised one more request for SIM change this request is pending since last 16 hours
              Upon calling 198 which is your customer complaint service, The person who initially spoke to me was rude, unknolwegebale and when pressed for suitable replies, he forwarded the call to Ms. Nisha who is your senior service supervisor. She as well was totally clueless as to why I am facing these issues and I was requested to visit the Airtel Store again (Please bear in mind it will be my 3rd Visit to one of your stores just to get my sim replaced, which according to your company policies and SOP’s is a very simple and hassle free issue and can be completed in 2-6 hours for a postpaid customer)

              Given the behaviour, service quality and the complaints I have raised, there has been no reasonable or suitable explanation being provided to me. Furthermore, when I have raised 2 requests for SIM Change (Both of which failed, without any plausible explanation) which have been rejected by your systems for the reasons best known to you.

              I would kindly request you to make sure that the problems are resolved within next 48-72 hours after you having a conversation (if the need arises) or on acknowledgement of the mail.

              If for some reasons, this matter cannot be resolved by your end, Kindly instruct your Nodal & Appellate Team (Both, not one or either) to speak with me.

              Also, I would now like to know that if a customer is facing such issues and even though people of Your Own Company i.e. Bharti Airtel Limited cannot resolve my issue or provide a suitable and logical explantation (Hoping that the logical & cooler minds prevail here), point me in the right direction as I wish to speak to someone who works in the corporate position and has authority to resolve such issues.

              Just for sake of clarity I would like to highlight a few points below to ensure that there is no confusion

              I’m Facing network related issues in the whole city of Durg & Bhilai (Kindly dont ask me again that from which particular part of the city im facing this problem)
              I was told that network is being upgraded, so I can understand that there might be some issues in out going calls, issue I’m facing is - Despite having 4-5 bars of network (HTC U 11) on my phone, when people try to contact me on this number they hear a message “that the phone is switched off or out of coverage area”. Again, this matter is not localised to one part of the city of Durg/Bhilai but is ever-present throughout the whole city and also in the city of Raipur.
              I have been raising complaints for my issue since July, 2017; unfortunately no one has an explanation for the reasons best known to them, they cant provide details of someone in your organisation to whom I can speak with to expedite the matter & also not raise a fresh complaint.
              your network resolution team is also highly professional, If a customer is not able to pick their call due to some reasons, they dont follow up the same day after a few hours or try calling on the alternate number or alternate time and are giving you false updates
              Kindly highlight that if a customer is raising a service request, what is the time prescribed as per your Manuals & SOP’s to attend and resolve such matters based on the severity of the complaint
              Your customer services representatives (of service no 198) are highly unprofessional, unethical & rude. Kindly train them to provide replies as per customers questions rather than reading off a script, I hope you guys have paid your trainers well to make sure such issues dont arise but they still do, If you cant resolve this issue or understand customers pulse, Please give my company the contract to train your service representatives.

              I hope this paints a very clear picture of the issues I have been facing which I believe can be handled very swiftly and efficiently by an organisation of your size, but your employees and customer representatives dont seem to be willing to do the same

              I trust you are well.

              Sir I¿m an airtel postpaid customer having no (+91 [protected]). I have been facing network related issues in the city of Durg/Bhilai and Raipur for past 6 months. The issues faced by me are given as below :-

              Unable to receive calls even though my phone is network coverage area with minimum 4 bars of network
              unable to make calls despite having 4-5 network bars
              4g service working like 2g

              Now, with regards to this matter I have been speaking to your customer service representatives, Nodal officers and all I have been given are false promises for the past 6 months

              My complaint[protected]Dated 15 October 2017) is still open as per records on your website
              my other complaint no[protected]Dated December 2017) has been closed as per records on your website.

              Following are my questions and queries, I hope you are in a position to resolve the same

              Why 2 complaints of same nature are still pending and how did my complaint of december is closed while one which was raised in october 2017 is still open. What is the time prescribed as per your manuals to resolve such complaints
              Why when i speak to your executives to raise a fresh complaint, they give a response they cant raise a fresh complaint as i still have a complaint open. How did the complaint raised in december got registered and closed in that case.
              As per your records you have given serval complaint numbers even though SR no 80308753 was still open, in such case why was my other complaint registered and closed
              I have raised 7 complaints in total, no satisfactory reply, service is not upto the mark, then why should i be liable to pay the bill in full if your network cant provide service i.e. service to make calls, receive calls and use mobile internet to the fullest extent, then why am i being charged my bill plan to the fullest extent
              Your customer representatives are unprofessional and unrealistic, they cant provide solutions when pressed for answers for such a serious concern which has been ongoing for so many months. Neither your company has given them any authority to provide information to customer where they can take up this matter on a corporate level so resolution of problems can be found
              I¿m sure every one in your organisation is aware of new TRAI regulations when it comes to providing network services, if it is not upto the mark and I¿m telling your executives the same, why should i hear automated replies ¿We understand your problem and we will look into it¿
              furthermore, why has no one taken the fact seriously that a complaint raised in october is still open and hasn¿t been resolved, why no one from your organisation took the time to call me i.e. the customer to make sure this can be resolved

              I hope this highlights the gross negligence on part of your customer service team, nodal team and network team. I hope you look into this matter seriously and someone from your organisation can contact me to resolve this problem at the earliest.

              Also, while I was writing you this email, my network services have been stopped for the reasons best known to your orgnization

              I¿m also CC¿ing a copy of this mail to TRAI consumer redressal forum, hoping that you guys can now take this matter seriously as i have been an Airtel user since 2000.

                Hi,
                Recently i purchased an Airtel 4g Dongle on 13th February 2017. I was promised that the sim would be activated on 24 hrs. It has been more than 24 hrs and the sim card is not working. I cant call anywhere or go out without wifi.
                We have been calling customer care 5 - 6 times a day and each representative had his own story to tell. They cant help me.

                As we use the internet frequently we cannot wait longer. We demand that Airtel provide reliable customer care and prompt service.

                  Hello,

                  I had postpaid connection. Due to heavy bill, I converted it to prepaid.
                  Airtel issued prepaid sim which they said will be activated in 2 days.
                  Its almost one month and its not activated. Repeatedly complained about the issue at Airtel offices and also complained at customer care.

                  whenever I call, they are saying technical problem, we will escalate the issue to higher authorities. By this time my complaint would have reached CEO of Airtel as everytime they escalate it to next level. Hope there won't be any more escalations.

                    Hi Team,

                    As discussed, agreed and confirmed by yourself and customer care representative Mr. Rahul i was given the confirmation for disconnection of my connection on 7th Dec 17. This is mistake done by Airtel for delay in disconnection of my connection, why the customer is being penalised, harassed and extra billing done for the delay in disconnection of my connection .

                    Kindly send me the revised bill till 7th Dec 17. I will clear the dues accordingly.

                    There is delay from Airtel for submission of proper, accurate and appropriate bill till 7th Dec 17.

                    Without receiving the proper bill i am not in position to make payment.
                    I am being harassed for mistake of Airtel and wrong billing done by Airtel.
                    Kindly do the needful on priority.

                        Dear sir,

                        It has been more than 2 months to til date, my debit credit issue has not been resolved.

                        Even after submitting all documents for verification they asked for bank statement which i have made transition on airtel money account, that bank statement i have submitted which doesn't make any sense that i should submit my bank statement for verification.

                        After all, i am tired now to call customer care executive and senior supervisors and listen their excuses, i don't understand what is issue that it takes a month of time to activate the account. Hope u can understand i have transferred amount to airtel money do pay my utilities and bills which are due from from that time to till now.

                        Every alternate day i am calling to customer support and they are taking 48 hrs of time. Last time i had conversation with senior executive, they promised me within 48 hrs team will resolve the issue, but again their statement remains unchanged.

                        I want to say one more thing till the time, not even a single time any executive had tried to contact and update that what is the status of my case.

                        Requesting a feedback call back from your side on my registered mobile no - [[protected]].

                        And a humble request to resolve the issue asap on priority basis.

                        The 4G service of Airtel seems to be big scam. The speeds are worst and do not call it even 4G. They are less than 3G speeds

                        I don't know why are you cheating millions of customers and eating their money. If you could resolve the same do it, else I will be porting to other network soon.

                          Court suspended the wallet facility of airtel but company countinously sending message that recharge with airtel wallet and get cash back but didn't inform there customer about wallet is suspended. L also use the wallet and they freeze my money. And they are not give my money back. I had send multiple mail but they are not interested in my problem.

                          My airtel prepaid no is [protected] .. i recharged with 448 for 84 days for unlimited call in any no still by balance was deduct and customer care also didnt satisfied me and still i am facing problem kindly resolve my problem as soon as possible.
                          Sir please consider my sim card damaged and yesterday replacement but its not working plzzz solve this problem my no [protected]
                          There is no network range for airtel inside our home..Every time it shows no signal..I cant able to call anyone and use internet..so please solve this network coverage problem immediately..otherwise we will port our airtel sims into other networks..Thank u..

                            I can not use money from my my airtel app's wallet because i forgot my mpin.
                            I had made the account 4 years ago now i do not even remember the registration details. I have forgotten the date of birth of the registration date. I've put 400 rupees in my airtel app, which is no longer being used because of the mpin
                            Now what do i, do to help me please

                              I have registered DND for my mobile number [protected] however Airtel continues to send me promotional messages. ( DND registration number: A[protected])

                              This is being a real trouble to me and after highlighting the same to Airtel's attention vide its DND complaint portal, there was no change in terms of such promotional messages being send by Airtel. Please look into matter.

                                I had tried purchasing international roaming pack for us (Rs 649) last week for the below number. After paying amount website displayed error message. Also booster pack didn’t add up to my airtel number. I tried two times but still booster didn’t add to my number. Amount got deducted two times (1300) from my account. Kindly help in refunding the amount. Awaiting your prompt response. Thanks in advance.

                                DND complaint submit button not working When we try to report DND defaulters, from Our mobile browsers like safari, chrome. It looks to be purposely Airtel disabled 'Submit' button action to register DND defaulters at Airtel website.
                                I subscribed to airtel bank account and i recharge my wallet with 1, 000. When I was trying to use it, it says account freeze. It does not happen to paytm. Seriously annoying.

                                  On 12/02/2018 at 6.30 am rs. 70 was deducted from my talk time account without my concern for gossipbird service which i never asked for and unable to access the customer care for further enquiry. They sent sms to stop the service and i stopped too. What about the deducted amount. This is a technical theft. This type of practice should be stopped immediately. The deducted amount to be refunded.

                                    My airtel mobile no. [protected] is o[censored]. P. West circle but now i'm residing in maharashtra (Mumbai malad west). I have a serious call drop issue. People's are complaining about that they called me more than 20 times but they could not reach me. And even when i call someone then also there is a serious issue i'm also not being able to call anyone. Yesterday only i recharged with 399 rs pack but it seems i won't be able to use that data. Please fix this problem or else i will go to consumer forum because i beared a huge loss because of this call drop.

                                      I've been in mathura since 2016. We are facing terrible network problem in aurangabad area specifically in mathura refinery township where we reside has got so much problem that we lose the full signal when we move from one room to another in the same house. This is what i am mentioning about calls and about data please don't ask me!! It is more irritating than the prior one....

                                      Since last 4 years i am using an airtel number and this number is in continuous use. On 6th feb 2018 morning they terminated the connection to my number.
                                      I communicated with airtel customer care from my friend's number and following are the responses from the different persons
                                      1. Because of no use this have been disconnected
                                      2. This number is not visible to us
                                      3. You may have not submitted the document
                                      4. Don't waste your valuable time, nothing can be done
                                      5. Even one person told that he can see that i have recharged 448 on 25th of
                                      Jan 2018 but i have not used my number
                                      Here i am not sure how information associated with single number varies person to person in customer care.

                                      Secondly i visited one airtel store. They told me as i have used the special recharge balance (448) to call and i should have used my main balance in betweeen so its disconnected. But they don't know how can i use my main balance if everything (Call/internet/sms) will cost from 448 recharge.
                                      And they have given a sim to activate it with existing number from their main airtel store after getting a call in few hours. But for 3 to 4 days i did not received any call even i visited the store again and no help.

                                      So i visited the airtel main store and they repeated the same thing that i have used only the special recharge 448 and i should have kept 50 to 60 rupees in main balance always, i don't know why?.

                                      So they told me if you want this number in your name again following are the conditions

                                      1. This can only be availed in postpaid connection
                                      2. Onetime payment of 300 rupees

                                      As this is the number connected with my different official and personal accounts. I am forced to get it in postpaid though it was in prepaid and wanted to be in prepaid.

                                      I think its a cheating as
                                      1. From 25th jan to 06th feb 2018 they have taken 448 rupees.
                                      2. Without any information disconnected my number
                                      3. Have not left any other option but forced me to be in postpaid if want the number even if its costlier based on my usage.

                                      Please help on this.
