Recently after opting for airtel 499 plan, i was told by the airtel customer care about the 799 plan where i could add a child connection free of cost. I was impressed and decided to add one of my family member's no.; however since it had to be a postpaid connection, i requested airtel to convert this prepaid child connection to postpaid. It is more than 3 weeks now and the airtel team has not yet converted the no. To postpaid yet. Numerous calls and emails to customer care is not helping in resolving the issue.. I have even converted my plan to 799 and paying for what i am not using as the plan can only be changed once a month. So i will have to pay for what i never used. No one from customer care gives a proper response on this issue. "sorry madam, you have called the postpaid department and the issue is pending with prepaid department. Please call them".. And when i call the prepaid department, they say, as you have taken advance talk time, please recharge and i explain them that i am unable to recharge for which they have no response! I even visited airtel showroom more than 6 to 7 times and they are still trying to find out why they are not able to recharge my no. These a bunch of # who do not know abc of customer care!!!

Complaint marked as Resolved After waiting for 3 weeks, the issue didnt seem like going anywhere. Once I posted a complaint on this forum, I got a call from airtel the same day and within 2 days issue was resolved. Thank you consumer complaints forum for helping me get my issue resolved.
