Hello,
This is mandeep singh from delhi and i've been using this no. From last 1-2 years ([protected]),
My postpaid bill plan is rs 649/- every month and been to abroad on 21st december to 28th december and airtel has applied extra charges on my bill which is of 3200/- something in december and 1200/- on november bill also.
Without giving any information to me about the charges, the customer care is telling me not to consult airtel store instead of customer care, i wanna ask a simple question why you have given a authority to airtel store to help consumers, you should stop the license to open airtel store then if they dont know anything and moreover the executive working in airtel store is giving false information to me nor you guys told me that i will be charge 649/- per day as a international charge.
Now they are giving me the information about the dubai standard rates charges but my question is why you guys not gave me any information about the plan and the charges and also i have talked to the customer care executive the have given me the interaction id (26
[protected] and before going to dubai, i went to store to know about the international plans and they gave me false information to me there also by activating international umbrella pack and told me that you now make calls to anyone from there and i had activated the rs200 pack for my no. Also from igi airport also
Please help me guys

    I am using this airtel sim for almost a decade. Just a couple of years back, i replaced it 4g sim and using the services. Without any prior intimation, they stopped the service to my sim. When i checked my nearest airtel store (Okkiyam thoraipakkam store, chennai), they told me that my sim is still active but i need to get a duplicate sim to continue the services. But they told they are out of stock of sims and so they can’t provide me a new one. My sim was not working from friday (2/2/18) and they still say stock not available. They ask me check in adyar or athiruvanmiyur airtel store. Due to my work timings, i am not be able to travel to those stores. Since my number is not reachable, i am facing lots of trouble, both personally as well as professionally. As a airtel showroom, they ought to have new sims handy. I am wondering why they are not refilled with new sims. Please help me in resolving this issue at the earliest.

      Hi,
      I have been abroad for more than 2 months and use my airtel prepaid number for my banking purposes in india. Due to inactivity my number has been deactivated and i tried recharging but it says my number is invalid. I currently have nobody in the circle i used my number in (Bangalore) but is there a possibility that i can do something online? I do not want to go through the hassle of a duplicate sim or a new number.

        My name is danish suri. Today i have purchased one new airtel connection number [protected] from airtel express
        Banjara crest apartments, no 6, apartment, hennur cross, kalyan nagar, bengaluru, karnataka 560043

        The agent (Faisal) charged me inr 230 for the sim card and benifit of 1 gb data per day and unlimited local and std call for 28 days.

        My sim card got activated at 2 pm but benifit was not added i went to the store again at 6 pm but the agent (Faisal) was not there. I took his number from other agent. Then i called mr faisal to remind to add benifits on my number but his number was busy, i tried calling him again after 30 mins but his number was still busy, i called him again at 7 pm he picked the call and told he will add the benifit within 15 mins but that never happened. I called him again at 8:30 but he disconnected my call, after that i called him 5-6 times he kept diconnecting my calls.

        I am so disappointed from airtel. I have been using airtel from 2006 but i have never faced any kind of problems but what happened today is not acceptable.

        I want some action to be taken on this guy.

          I bought one airtel prepaid sim last year, i. E. 2017 and was using that number as my whatsapp number. I was surprised to know yesterday that the same number is allotted to different customer. I visited airtel service centre in karama, trivandrum, kerala, the customer support told me that as my number was not used for 45 days, it has been allotted to other customer. I was really embarrassed and shocked that my number has been given to other without intimating me as i have also given alternate no of mine while taking the connection.

            Iam using airtel prepaid sim from last 2 years. Am facing signal problem from last 6 months and i complained about it around 7 times, they just say your problem will be solved. Every time i call them they say same answer of it will be solved. And in last call ive asked about how many days will it take to clear, they were not saying and in last they said that am asking it again and again so they disconected my call.
            *in first three calls they said to upgrade my sim to 4g - i did.
            *in further calls they said to use a 4g handset for better network - i bought a new 4g mobile.
            * and now in last two complaints from a month ago they just say it will take time.
            And now they just disconnected call for asking commitment for how many days it will take for solving

              As per subject i had seen in last few days various kind of service started on my number [protected], n [protected], whereas i did not opt those services. How can u start those without my permission n deduct amount from account of both no. I want my money back as recently i recharge my both account, who will pay the amount which has been deducted from my account. I want clarification.

              I have registered complaint regarding auto activation of various services but still no action has been taken, instead someone executive calling from airtel and using abusive language, moreover a good amount was charged for those service which i did not opt. How those people can do this, every min i received a new message that thanks for choosing this n that service. I want to stop this and my money back.

                I have paid the Installation amount of 1000 for Airtel broadband on 31 Jan 2018 and till 03rd Feb Profile was not created and till 5th of Feb Installation was not done.Back to back to call to 121 no proper response.

                The Agent who has collected documents is not picking the call.

                Now have requested the 121 Agent to refund the installation amount.She has provide the URL : WWW.AIRTEL.CO.IN/ONLINEREFUND which is not working

                  We are not able to receive airtel connection in our area dwarka sec -16b, So please take any action to solve this problem.we have already done lot of complaint about this issue but no respond from customer care service. since 3-4 months we are facing this problem.i hope you will consider my problem as soon as possible

But is there a possibility that i can do something online, even if it involves paying a penalty as i do not want to go through the hassle of a duplicate sim or a new number.

                      Hi,

                      I am a airtel prepaid customer mob - [protected] from last one year and from last one week i am facing issues of data balance of 1gb per day getting over so quickly and that too within 30-45 min.
                      Let me tell you, this problem is not only with my number, my other family members and friends are also facing the same issue. Whereas upon using vodafone or jio everything works fine and that too at the end of the day data balance didnt get over.

                      There is some fraud going on with airtel data balance and airtel is trying to cheat the customer by doing false data billing.

                        Sir,
                        I Tapas Kumar Chakravarty of Kolkata possess Airtel mobile no [protected]. On 05/02/2018, I received an sms from airtel at 3:33 pm through which i was informed that an amount of Rs.67.61 has been deducted by airtel from my prepaid A/c balance on account of International roaming rental. They have further informed that an additional amount of Rs 31.39 will be deducted subsequently from my prepaid A/C.

                        I have never been on International roaming till today and the deduction has been made wrongfully causing great harassment to me. I tried to contact Airtel Customer care Executive but no facility of that kind has been provided by airtel authority.

                        I am a senior citizen and a retd. Central Govt officer. It is my humble request to you to kindly intervene in the matter to redress my greivances so that the amount of Rs 67.61 which was wrongfully deducted is credited back to my prepaid A/c by Airtel forthwith.

                          Dear sir/madam i have taken a new airtel broad connection vide caf no 11138591 and mr. Sarit gupta had promised when filling the form and taking 500rs that the connection will be provided next day for the same he booked an appointment at 3pm and reconfirm the same today at 230 pm and i have been calling him and requesting him now at 5pm he decided to reply that airtel exchange has a fault and connection will be provided tomorrow i waited 2 hours for the technician missing an important business appointment this is most unprofessional and unacceptable behaviour and puts me in doubt about airtel support. I have been waiting endlessly i have recording of all above i[censored] need.

                            Hai sir my self suresh i m using airtel number since 2012. Recently got sms to verify adhar process and i want to update to 4g also. I have nearest airtel store is patamata, near andhrabank, vijayawada. Whenever i went to store they said only one thing not workings. If its not working why they put store there. If they thinking everfication and update sim is time waste process then put one board there only new connection and bill payments available. Adhar vefication possible to do 14546 then its not possible to upadate into 4g. So kindly change the system of patamata store..1 time server down and not working is possible everytime its not working means they don't do this type of things.

                              I never thought in my dream that you guys will be so cheap to steal customers money. This is the second time you guys have added additional charges in my billing account. Earlier i was using sim which was under mumbai circle which i got changed to maharashtra circle through vasai branch and while changing no one has intimated that the amount would be added to your new account billing and it was never added in my first bill which i paid of rs. 370/- plus. Suddenly i got to see rs. 500/- plus amount has been added and mentioned in the remark as “one time charges”. There is no proper description mentioned in the bill for what purpose you guys have added. I spoke to one of your representative, she told me that in pro rata basis you have added the rental and another half of the amount for the usage of internet and when i asked her to give me the details of the internet usage…. She said that earlier account has been closed so we cannot see your details. If you guys cannot see the details then on what basis you guys charged me additionally? I want to ask you guys…how can you guys charge a customer when he/she has enough of data available? And without paying the earlier bill, how can you guys close my previous account.

                              I am not going to pay a single amount rather than the current plan which i have opted for rs. 399/- also i haven’t received any call from your end as my case was already escalated. If, the charges are not reversed before the billing cycle of mine which is on 14th february, 2018 then i will send you all a notice of 420

                              The customer care does not even bother to call back as per the given timeline rather than calling they call to sell their promotion offers and again try to fool them. I have their representative call recording where they inform that in 299/- you will get 21 GB every month and unlimited calls.

                                I've ported my number from airtel postpaid to airtel prepaid. And after activation, i tried to recharge it online but i was unable to do so.
                                I called customer care many times and mailed them as well but my issue is not yet resolved. I can't port my number to other network as it needs 90 days to be in a particular network.

                                I'm frustrated and want it to be resolved asap.

                                  Recently after opting for airtel 499 plan, i was told by the airtel customer care about the 799 plan where i could add a child connection free of cost. I was impressed and decided to add one of my family member's no.; however since it had to be a postpaid connection, i requested airtel to convert this prepaid child connection to postpaid. It is more than 3 weeks now and the airtel team has not yet converted the no. To postpaid yet. Numerous calls and emails to customer care is not helping in resolving the issue.. I have even converted my plan to 799 and paying for what i am not using as the plan can only be changed once a month. So i will have to pay for what i never used. No one from customer care gives a proper response on this issue. "sorry madam, you have called the postpaid department and the issue is pending with prepaid department. Please call them".. And when i call the prepaid department, they say, as you have taken advance talk time, please recharge and i explain them that i am unable to recharge for which they have no response! I even visited airtel showroom more than 6 to 7 times and they are still trying to find out why they are not able to recharge my no. These a bunch of # who do not know abc of customer care!!!

                                  After waiting for 3 weeks, the issue didnt seem like going anywhere. Once I posted a complaint on this forum, I got a call from airtel the same day and within 2 days issue was resolved. Thank you consumer complaints forum for helping me get my issue resolved.

                                      this is vimal santhose and i am your airtel customer for past four years with mobile number [protected].

                                      At present my mobile number is got deactivated when i reached near by airtel store.

                                      They guided me to send request mail to reactivate this mobile number.

                                      Kindly activate this number for me since i was in abroad for two months, i am unable to recharge or activate it

                                      I hope you will understand my request because my contact members and bank everywhere i gave this mobile number.

                                        Dear airtel, i have money in main balance for which i have paid exact amount while recharge. But on *121# my offer/new offer/offers i don't get any option to activate packs. When i use myairtel app/website to activate pack it asks me to pay via debit card/airtel payment bank. But i have already loaded money into my main account balance, and i wish to use the same. Just for your information, the balance is not free balance or cashback but i have paid every rupee for it. As the money is paid to you on the same number i request either let me use to activate packs or please refund. When i recharged the terms and conditions did not mention this will not be allowed to use in packs... As previously i have used this balance to activate packs... So please reply fast and solve my query... Also your customer service is or any process is very complex... Please for once give customer some value...
