I have bought a new airtel postpaid sim, butbsince the time i have had this sim, i have signal strength at 1 bar, and i have never received 4g services ever, i am on a 499 plan and i do not even get 3g services, i always have 'e' denoted on, and even that has no receiving signal.
I did numerous complaints to customer care, and even gallery. The person at the airtel gallery his name is amir, he told he that he cannot allow me to change to prepaid as my sim is brand new,. It needs to complete 90 days.
While the person at the customer care told me i can change my sim to prepaid anytime, the 90 days is for sim porting.
When i mentioned this to the person at the gallery, he told me and i quote "we at the gallery have no connections with the people at customer care, customer care is different and gallery is different, we don't function as per the customer care, but we function as per how we want at the gallery".
I explained this guy at the airtel gallery amir, that i have no service since the time i have got the sim, there is no point in me continuing with postpaid services. He tells me, "let the 1st bill get generated, pay that bill and then only i can transfer to prepaid"
This makes absolutely no sense, why would i pay for services i have never gotten whilst i was promised 4g and network.
So basically airtel wants me to pay for no service just because i am a post paid customer.

Please help me.
Airtel customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.
The mentioned airtel number [protected] was disconnected on November 2017 this number is already linking with my bank account purpose.Please reactivate this number in urgent cases
