I recently ported from vodafone to airtel to avail a better pack (Big mistake!!). My sim got ported without notifying me on 26th jan 2018. I replaced the vodafone sim with the airtel sim immediately, as i was not receiving any network on my vodafone sim. But since then i have no mobile network on my phone. Absolutely pathetic customer service from airtel. I have called them multiple times and also written emails to them. No response from them. Still struggling.
Airtel customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.

    I request you to solve my problem. I have also received a message to my number that amount has be credited. But I didn't received it. Please process my request.

      Re: forcing service on customer by call center staff after disconnection of service.

      Sir,
      My mobile no.[protected] our airtel landline no. Was[protected] it stopped working during last week of december, 2017.

      The internet connected with that landline was slowly down and the connectivity speed was 64 kbps finally on 30/12/2017.

      Immediately i made a personal complaint to local hub and complaint on in the note book available at the local hub were ignored by the airtel staff.

      Then, i made complaint to 121 on 4th and 5th since year beginning was a holiday for their company.in response to this, after lengthy explanation, the airtel resolution officer ms. Pavithra, gave a waiver and recorded closure on 6th jan 2018 only and assured that i will not be billed beyond 6th jan 2018, which is suffixed below. But i received a full bill on 20th inst though my connection is down and no longer in use.

      The call center staff contact only on sundays and torture me verbally to for getting re-connection and threten that i will be charged for further length of time.

      I wrote even to the appellate authority but only sunday call center staff represent the appellate authority and after verbal torture say i will be charged for a further month.

      This is in reference to your email requesting to stop airtel services for your airtel account number [protected].

      I regret to know of your decision to cancel the connection. Subsequent to our conversation [protected], i have registered your cancellation request with the reference number 92073582. You will receive a call from us within 24 hours, should in case you wish to reconsider your decision to cancel, you may indicate the same on call with our executive.

      Your services are expected to be restricted by 07 days.

      Monthly rental on your account will not be charged from the date deactivation request is raised, i. E from[protected].

      I would like to inform you that rs. 590/- (Adjustment of rs. 500 + service tax of 18%) has been credited to your account. This will reflect in your final bill generation dated[protected]. The revised outstanding amount, after deducting the adjusted amount will reflect in airtel app or self care web site within 48 hours.

      However, you will receive confirmation sms on the same excluding gst.

      Currently, there is an excess amount of rs. 590/- is reflecting and the same will be adjusted towards your final bill.

        Porting sms are recieved to successfully porting to airtel
        Than new airtel sim provided by retailers and kyc sim no service are shown complaints is my bsnl sim deactivate 12/01/2018 and airtel sim not activate please check and solve the problem my mobile no..[protected]

          I had called for my cust id - [protected] for change in my current monthly package of dth connection, they had wrongly changed what i have asked to do and they have even no knowledge of ala cart item also as per them.

          Firstly i call customer care from reg mobile number, one man pick up and looking he has no knowledge of company and just enjoying his paid holiday, second time i asked one person he changed my plan but wrongly changed what i have supposed to ask!! Is any responsible person exist in airtel dth company?? Inspite of these looking they are doing favour of me and talk i have done this and that but actually not done what is asked!!!

            I have been complaining so many times with following issues but all in vein.
            Even company is not bothered to listen / resolve customer's issues. My complaint is on hold since Oct'17 with following issues

            1. Call drop
            2. Drop in network strength from full to emergency network
            3. Poor data speed from 4g to 2g & sometimes even no internet at all

              Everytime i recharge for something again and again this funstore 1 and other non sense services gets auto started
              I have never requested for any such ###
              All it is doing is deducting my balance unnecessarily for some non sense i have sent that stop message so mANY TIMEs but its not workinh my almost 250 rupees have gone regarding this ### service i want telecom service to take care of this ### and make sure without asking customer nothing should be implemented

                I received otps and messages successfully registering for airtel payments bank when i have not applied for it at anytime. It is linked with my email id also. This is completely without my knowledge. I also received a message for successful registration for gstind with arn aa[protected]w. I have not given for any registration.
                These registrations for airtel payments bank or gstind is without my knowledge. I called gst helpline number...

                I have purchased airtel 4g prepaid sim from tamilnadu which fails to get activated. The following is the error message when tried with oneplus phone, "could not connect to the network right now, try later". While trying to activate the sim using nokia old mobile, "sim registration failed" is the error message displayed.
                And i have tried both automatic and manual network search. I hope the problem would be resolved soon.

                  Dt 26jan to 28jan costumer care executive said i have used my all data limit in a day is 1gb
                  But i couldn't when talk in customer care the is not satisfactory plz do needful otherwise i will take necessary action in consumer court
                  I am very disappointed with you becoz no any use of data from my side but deducted. This type of work hurted me to change my no to airtel to other service provider

                    I have deposited rs. 5, 000/- to my airtel payment bank account on the date of 18/01/2018.
                    Problem is it's showing rs.5000/- balance in my account, and i am not able to use the balance.
                    Kyc of the a/c has been completed.
                    Whenever i try to transfer or recharge, it's showing error like debit for this account is not allowed.
                    I have called customer care so many times. It's been 10 days, but the problem is not solved yet.
                    So please rectify the problem as soon as possible.

                      I have account balance of 400rs of my airtel number but when i had called customer support, they said this balance cannot be used for my recharge and i have to do retail recharge for 399 pack.. This is the fraud case of airtel not allowing users to use their existing balance and spent more money on them..
                      I urgently want to do this recharge else i'll have to port the number to some other network and will loose entire balance of 400rs..
                      Already they don't provide volte service as they switch data and calls for 4g and 3g services and these are their terms and conditions.. What should i do with my 400rs balance..?

                        I am a postpaid customer of airtel since 2012. On 19 jan 2018 i called up airtel customer care on last day of my billing cycle to change my plan. I clearly specified that i wanted to know about new plans. The person suggested me family plan for rs 799 and wife's no will be added in this plan and assured that this will change in 72hrs. My plan changed but my wife's didn't. I called up again on 21st jan 18. Then they told me that they require aadhar card of my wife which is already registered. On visit airtel store they told that my wife was not eligible for the plan.
                        Why was i not told this earlier. I was duped into a higher plan. I feel cheated by airtel.

                          I am a vodafone customer and never applied for mnp. But yesterday i. E. 27/01/2018 i received sms from am-airrtv stating "thank you for your interest in airtel! We have received your request for porting your mobile no xxxxxxxxxx. We will keep you updated on the progress."

                          Could you please help me to address this issue.

                              I am already a airtel customer but as per the airtel tv app it says that to use the feautres of the app you need to switch to airtel.

                              I have already written to airtel team and no response has come from their side.

                              This is how you treat your customers. Shame on airtel.

                              No one is ready to help also. I tried calling them several times everyone is giving different options and no one is actually helping out.

                              They cheat on users dooling them that the plan would give u free access of everything but here i am not able to use any such facility.

                              Niether i am able to use the amazon prime that comes free with airtel.

                              I am using a plan of 499.

                                Mine is chennai number, now i'm in bhopal. I couldn't receive any incoming calls. But when i go to chennai i reveive calls. So basically the problem is edith roaming. Its been around six months i tried a airtel customer care and also went to chennai office. Nothing was resolved. Then i applied for porting the number, it was also rejected. I hate airtel and nb its customer service. Mob. No. [protected]

                                  I did a recharge of ₹95 from amazon which provides full talktime (No special recharge) and should be come in main balance but it didn't add up in the main balance instead it activated a calling pack service which is very much useless to me. I'm unable to use that full tt for any further recharge. I want you to add that ₹95 to my main balance. Reply asap.

                                    I live on dr. Radhakrishnan nagar main road, thiruvanmiyur, chennai - 41. A few weeks ago, airtel linesmen dug up our world-class road and footpath to draw a cable across the road to the airtel box on the opposite side.
                                    The cable goes under the road and the digging is visible on the surface of the road. The surface of the road remains broken.
                                    Then the cable goes on top of the footpath to reach the blue box. The airtel linesmen have crudely covered it with a splash of concrete. This has formed a bump on the footpath and people constantly trip over the ridge-like concrete cover. The corporation official came and inspected it and said no permission has been obtained from the city corporation to dig the road and the footpath. Such permission is mandatory in chennai for digging a road. And ours is a new world-class road.
                                    I have attached pictures here.
                                    I shall lodge a police complaint against airtel, chennai for damaging public property and digging the road without official permission.

                                      I have complained many times before this one. I have discussed about my concern more than ten times earlier. Every time airtel customer care people are giving false assurance to provide inconvenient service. But every time the airtel network is cheating its customers after taking its scheme related money. I am unable to get good internet service. Always it is having slowest internet speed in our locality. If airtel cares its customers then immediately it should solve this issue. Please install sufficient towers with 4g capacity in our locality. My location is kaverappa layout, panathur new extention, panathur, bangalore, pin 560109.
